Phospholipase C epsilon (PLCε) is a oncogene in various malignancies and regulates diverse cellular functions. But understanding of the relation between PLCε and glycolytic pathways has not been clearly identified. In the present study, we explored the effect of PLCε on the Warburg effect and tumorigenesis in bladder cancer (BCa). In our study, we showed that PLCε expression was elevated in BCa samples compared with matched adjacent nonmalignant bladder tissues. PLCε depletion using Lentivirus-shPLCε (LV-shPLCε) dramatically decreased cell growth, glucose consumption and lactate production, arresting T24 and BIU cells in the S phase of the cell cycle. We also observed that PLCε was correlated with the activation of protein kinase B (AKT) and cell division cycle 25 homolog A (Cdc25a) overexpression. In addition, we demonstrated that AKT/glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta (GSK3β)/Cdc25a signaling pathways are involved in the PLCε-mediated Warburg effect in BCa. Moreover, we showed that PLCε had an effect on tumorigenesis in in vivo experiments. Two kinds of prepregs ZT7G/LT-03A(unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg) and ZT7G3198P/LT-03A(plain carbon fabric prepreg) were used to manufacture three Bateches of composites by vacuum process and autoclave process respectively. The physical properties of the prepregs and mechanical properties of composite were tested. The performance, fiber volume content and porosity of composites manufactured by vacuum cure and autoclave process show that the physical property retention rates of vacuum cured composites are all over 75%, some even more than 100%. Interlaminar shear strength keeps the lowest retention rate and warp tensile strength keeps the highest retention in unidirectional carbon fiber composites. For fabric composite material, compression strength keeps the lowest and warp tensile strength keeps the highest retention. Vacuum cured composites perform lower fiber volume content and higher porosity, which are the main reasons of the lower performance.

This paper examines the evolutionary process of secondary innovation in a typical Chinese equipment manufacturing firm in the context of globalization and elaborates how to achieve latecomer's advantage from imitation to innovation. Four stages are identified in the process of international manufacturing: the equipment import stage, the production cooperation stage, the R&D cooperation stage and the global operation stage. Technological innovation evolves as follows: from duplicative imitation to creative imitation, and then from exploitative innovation to explorative innovation. Through the evolutionary process, a firm can take advantage of globalization to accumulate knowledge and improve its capabilities, which enable it to upgrade in the global manufacturing network. It has been well documented that cross‐listing can improve firms' governance quality and reduce equity financing costs, which are crucial for firms' innovation activities. In this paper, we investigate the effect of cross‐listing on the Hong Kong (HK) market on the innovation performance of Chinese mainland firms. We find that both innovation outputs and qualities increase significantly when Chinese mainland firms list their shares on the HK market. Concerning the channels through which cross‐listing encourages innovation, we demonstrate that cross‐listed firms can raise low‐cost funds in the HK market, which facilitates their innovation activities. Moreover, the HK market generates more informative stock prices, which mitigate innovation information asymmetry and also encourage firms' innovation. In general, our paper sheds light on a new factor (cross‐listing) that motivates firms to engage in innovation and highlights cross‐listing's function in improving innovation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
