BackgroundChronic nonspecific low back pain (CNLBP) is one of the most common complex pain conditions, and it is strongly associated with high rates of disability. Even though several studies on Tui na for CNLBP have been reported, to our knowledge there has been no systematic review of the currently available publications. ObjectiveThis study aims to develop a protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis that will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Tui na therapy for patients with CNLBP. MethodsAn electronic literature search of PubMed, Embase, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Springer, Scopus, World Health Organization International Clinical Trials Registry Platform, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Clarivate Analytics, and Chinese biomedical databases (the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wan-fang database, Chinese Scientific Journals Database, and Chinese Biomedical Literature Databases) will be conducted. Studies will be screened by two reviewers independently based on titles and abstracts, followed by a full-text reading with eligibility criteria. Randomized controlled trials involving Tui na for patients with CNLBP will be reviewed. The primary outcomes of the study are improvement of pain, analgesic medication reduction, improvement of functional disability, and degree of satisfaction with the intervention. A secondary outcome is any adverse event of Tui na intervention. Methodological quality and risk of bias will be assessed with the Cochrane Collaboration Risk of Bias Tool. If studies are sufficient, a meta-analysis of the effectiveness will be performed. If possible, we will evaluate publication bias using funnel plots. If substantial heterogeneity between studies is present, and there are sufficient studies, subgroup analyses will be conducted to explain the study findings. ResultsThe review database searches will be initiated in December 2020, with findings expected by January 2021. ConclusionsThis protocol will establish a framework of a high-quality literature synthesis on the impact of Tui na treatment in patients with CNLBP. The proposed review will determine whether Tui na is effective and safe for CNLBP patients. Background Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the common cardiovascular diseases, and despite the widespread use of biomarkers for myocardial necrosis, morbidity and mortality of AMI remain high. Objective To investigate the expression levels and clinical significance of miR-126, mitochondrial components and adhesion molecules in endothelial microparticles (EMPs) . Methods A total of 50 patients with AMI (AMI group), 50 patients with stable coronary artery disease (SCAD) (SCAD group) and 50 healthy subjects (control group) were enrolled in the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from September 2021 to September 2022. AMI patients and SCAD patients were hospitalized in our hospital and received percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and all healthy subjects were evaluated by the physical examination center of our hospital. Peripheral blood samples and general data of three groups were collected. The morphology of the microparticles (MPs) was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the level of EMPs was identified by flow cytometry, and the expression of miR-126 in EMPs was detected by fluorescence quantitative PCR. ELISA was used to detect the levels of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) and intracellular adhesion molecules [vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), E-selectin, and P-selectin] in EMPs. Results As observed by TEM, the membrane structure of the isolated MPs was intact and its diameter ranged from 100 to 400 nm. As an innovative neural modulation technique, the transcranial magneto-acousto-electric (MAE) stimulation (TMAES) realizes the synergistic regulation of neuronal discharge through the ultrasonic mechanical and inductive electric effects, offering significant prospects in biomedical applications. However, the stimulation accuracy is still limited by the unidirectional distribution of MAE field intensity. A method of constructing center-converging MAE field by coupling the helical wave fronts of focused acoustic-vortex (FAV) beams with a coaxial magnetic field is proposed. By describing FAVs with Laguerre–Gaussian functions, the theory of MAE field construction is derived in explicit formulae and the spatiotemporal characteristics of MAE fields in the focal region are analyzed. It is theoretically and experimentally demonstrated that the MAE field generated by the FAV of lth order is determined by those of (l − 1)th and (l + 1)th orders. The center-converging phase-rotating MAE field can only be generated by the FAV of first order, maintaining a constant peak intensity at the vortex center. Experimental distributions of MAE fields for FAVs of different orders show good agreements with numerical simulations. With the peak pressure of 0.86 MPa and the magnetic intensity of 0.3 T, the peak intensity of 62.1 mV/m reaching the electric stimulation threshold is achieved. The center-converging MAE field constructed by FAV may develop a new synergistic neural modulation scheme for TMAES with enhanced precision and flexibility while ensuring safety and efficacy, thereby exhibiting significant scientific and practical implications. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are in great demand in many fields because of their unique properties such as high conductivity, chemical stability, lightweight, and high strength. They also received much attention in optical‐related fields because of the super‐black characteristics under visible light and the photothermal effect of infrared light. Recently, the coloration of CNTs under visible light is realized by a simple liquid phase method with the help of silica photonic crystal (PC) coatings. However, the response modulation such as the photoluminescence (PL) property of CNTs to the infrared and ultraviolet (UV) bands is not yet studied. Herein, silane functionalized carbon dots (SiCDs) are introduced into silica PCs, and successfully realized the structural coloration and PL of CNT fibers (CNTFs). The optical and fluorescence visualization of single CNTs and suspended CNT networks (SCNTNs) is also realized with the assistance of SiCDs droplets. These SiCDs‐decorated SiPCs‐coated CNTFs (SiCDs@SiPCs‐CNTFs) exhibit an up/down‐conversion PL response, and the excitation light source can be UV light, visible light, and near‐infrared laser. The structural coloration and the development of new PL properties will promote the wide applications of PL carbon hybrid materials in many fields such as smart displays, intelligent textiles, anti‐counterfeiting, etc. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
