Background In recent years, there have been many randomized controlled trials (RCTs) featuring manipulation for frozen shoulder, but there is a lack of new systematic reviews on the efficacy and safety of manipulation for frozen shoulder. Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of manipulation in the treatment of frozen shoulder by Meta-analysis, and understand whether "rotation shoulder joint" could affect the effect of manipulative therapy by subgroup. Methods PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Medline, CNKI, China Biomedical Literature Database, Wanfang Data were searched for RCTs on the efficacy and safety of manipulative therapy for frozen shoulder, with manipulative therapy as the intervention of experimental group and non-pharmacological therapy as the intervention of control group from inception to 2023-03-01. Two investigators extracted data and evaluated the quality. Meta-analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software. Results A total of 12 RCTs were included in this Meta-analysis, with a total of 893 patients with frozen shoulder, including 451 patients in the experimental group and 442 cases in the control group. Background Cardiovascular disease and psychological disease are the two major public health problems threatening the health of Chinese residents. At present, there are about 11 million patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) in China. The comorbidity rate of coronary heart disease hospitalized patients with depression can reach 51%, and the combined major depression is 3.1% to 11.2%. At present, there are few studies on the association between thyroid function and depression status in CHD patients. Objective To explore the association between thyroid function and depression status in patients with CHD. Methods From October 2017 to February 2018, 561 patients diagnosed CHD from the Department of Cardiology of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital were selected, and divided into coronary heart disease without depression group and CHD combined depression group according to whether depression was combined, which was evaluated by the patient health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) . The gender, age, body mass index (BMI) , comorbid diseases (hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, acute myocardial infarction) , the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) , high-sensitivity troponin T (hs-cTnT) , N-terminal-B-type natriuretic peptide precursor (NT-proBNP) , serum free triiodothyronine, free thyroxine, thyroid-stimulating hormone, free triiodothyronine (FT3) , free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) of patients wre recorded. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the effect of FT3 on the risk of depression in patients with CHD. Results CHD without depression group included 350 cases (62.4%) , CHD complicated with depression group included 211 cases (37.6%) , with 148 mild depression cases (26.4%) , 46 moderate depression cases (8.2%) , 17 severe depression cases (3.0%) . Mastitis is a significant inflammatory condition of the mammary gland in dairy cows. It is caused by bacterial infections and leads to substantial economic losses worldwide. The disease can be either clinical or sub-clinical and presents challenges such as reduced milk yield, increased treatment costs, and the need to cull affected cows. The pathogenic mechanisms of mastitis involve the activation of Toll-like receptors (TLRs), specifically TLR2 and TLR4. These receptors play crucial roles in recognizing pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and initiating immune responses through the NF-κB signaling pathway. Recent in vitro studies have emphasized the importance of the TLR2/TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway in the development of mastitis, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. This review summarizes recent research on the role of the TLR2/TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway in mastitis. It focuses on how the activation of TLRs leads to the production of proinflammatory cytokines, which, in turn, exacerbate the inflammatory response by activating the NF-κB signaling pathway in mammary gland tissues. Additionally, the review discusses various bioactive compounds and probiotics that have been identified as potential therapeutic agents for preventing and treating mastitis by targeting TLR2/TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway. Overall, this review highlights the significance of targeting the TLR2/TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway to develop effective therapeutic strategies against mastitis, which can enhance dairy cow health and reduce economic losses in the dairy industry. Water resources and water environmental issues have emerged as significant constraints on the socio-economic development of Wuxi City. Based on the mechanism of mutual feedback within this system, a coupled model of the social-economy-water resources-water environmental was developed by means of spatial system dynamics. Subsequently, this model was employed to study the spatiotemporal dynamic characteristics of water resources and water environment carrying capacities in each subregion of Wuxi, considering various climate and socio-economic development scenarios. The results show that: (1) Both water resources carrying capacity coefficients and water environmental carrying capacity coefficients of each administrative district display in following order under different scenarios: Binhu District> Xishan District > Huishan District> Xinwu District> Liangxi District. (2) There are distinctions of water resources carrying capacity and water environment carrying capacity under different settings. Compared with B3 scenario (a developing society in a dry climate), the monthly average values of water resources carrying capacity coefficients and water environmental carrying capacity coefficients in Liangxi District, Binhu District, Xishan District, Huishan District, and Xinwu District under CI scenario (a water saving and emission reduction society in a wet climate) are 2.23 and 2.36, 2.13 and 3.22, 2.13 and 2.55, 2.12 and 2.53, 1.58 and 1.74 times, respectively. The practice shows that the spatial system dynamics model effectively harmonizes the relations between social economy and resource environment in both time and space, modelling simulation results that closely align with actual conditions. Conducting quantitative research on the microstructure of soft clay can reveal the essence of its soil mechanical behavior, which is of important practical significance for geological disaster risk assessment and prevention. To quantitatively investigate the microscopic properties of natural structured clay, soft clay soils from various sedimentary environments in the Hangzhou Estuarine Bay area were chosen as the research subject in this study. Subsequently, a comprehensive investigation into the microstructure of clay was conducted, involving X-ray phase analysis and SEM imaging analysis. The results revealed the following: (1) In comparison to the deep clay deposited in fluvial-lacustrine environments, the shallow mucky clay in marine sediments had a higher clay mineral content, accounting for 48%. Illite makes up the majority of it, with minor levels of kaolinite and montmorillonite being present. (2) The shallow mucky clay in the Hangzhou Estuarine Bay area had a typical agglomerate-flocculated structure. In contrast, the deeper clay showed a flocculated structure with less uniform particle sizes, strong stacking randomness, poor directional alignment of soil pores, and tends to form arrangements where edges are adjacent to faces or edges are adjacent to other edges. (3) Compared to the deep clay deposited in fluvial-lacustrine environments, the marine-deposited shallow mucky clay displayed orderly pore arrangements, strong directional alignment, significant pore shape variability, and minimal pore size changes between adjacent pores. The microstructure of soil plays a crucial role in determining the physical, mechanical, and other engineering properties of the soil. The source of water supply in Nanchang City is relatively single, and the safety of urban water supply is difficult to guarantee. According to the hydrogeological conditions of the study area, a threedimensional visualization numerical model of groundwater system was established. After the model identification and verification, combined with the target of emergency water supply in Nanchang city, the emergency exploitation of groundwater in Youkou emergency water source was simulated by using the model under different emergency exploitation schemes, respectively. The prediction results show that compared with scheme I and scheme II, scheme III is most suitable for the requirements of well layout, which has the advantages with the minimum drawdown of groundwater level, and the maximum exploitation. For scheme III, under the conditions that the dewatered aquifers are no more than 1/2 and 2/3 of the original aquifer, the emergency exploitation of 36.55×104m3/d and 49.45×104m3/d can be provided, which could meet the emergency water demands of 54.9% and 74.3% of the local residents, respectively.
