[Display omitted] Ranging from industrial facilities to residential infrastructure, functional surfaces encompassing functionalities such as anti-fouling, fog collection, anti-corrosion, and anti-icing play a critical role in the daily lives of humans, but creating these surfaces is elusive. Bionic dewetting and liquid-infused surfaces have inspired the exploitation of functional surfaces. However, practical applications of these existing surfaces remain challenging because of their inherent shortcomings. In this study, we propose a novel functional slippery lubricated coating (FSLC) based on a simple blend of polysilazane (PSZ), silicone oil, and nano silica. This simple, nonfluorine based, and low-cost protocol promotes not only hierarchical micro-nano structure but also favorable surface chemistry, which facilitates robust silicone oil adhesion and excellent slippery properties (sliding angle: ∼1.6°) on various solid materials without extra processing or redundant treatments. The highly integrated competence of FSLC, characterized by robustness, durability, strong adhesion to substrates, and the ability for large-area preparation, render them ideal for practical production and application. Copy number variation (CNV) serves as a significant source of genetic diversity in mammals and exerts substantial effects on various complex traits. Pingliang red cattle, an outstanding indigenous resource in China, possess remarkable breeding value attributed to their tender meat and superior marbling quality. However, the genetic mechanisms influencing carcass and meat quality traits in Pingliang red cattle are not well understood. We generated a comprehensive genome-wide CNV map for Pingliang red cattle using the GGP Bovine 100K SNP chip. A total of 755 copy number variable regions (CNVRs) spanning 81.03 Mb were identified, accounting for approximately 3.24% of the bovine autosomal genome. Among these, we discovered 270 potentially breed-specific CNVRs in Pingliang red cattle, including 143 gains, 73 losses, and 54 mixed events. Functional annotation analysis revealed significant associations between these specific CNVRs and important traits such as carcass and meat quality, reproduction, exterior traits, growth traits, and health traits. Additionally, our network and transcriptome analysis highlighted CACNA2D1, CYLD, UBXN2B, TG, NADK, and ITGA9 as promising candidate genes associated with carcass weight and intramuscular fat deposition. The current study presents a genome-wide CNV map in Pingliang red cattle, highlighting breed-specific CNVRs, and transcriptome findings provide valuable insights into the underlying genetic characteristics of Pingliang red cattle. Intraclass correlation coefficients, paired t‐tests and network analysis were used for data analysis.Caregivers reported slightly lower scores for transition readiness than adolescents (3.28 vs. 3.32). Healthcare engagement and provider communication were core elements in transition readiness networks. At the dyad level, agreement between adolescents' and caregivers' transition readiness ranged from poor to fair (intraclass correlation coefficients 0.103–0.486), and a significant difference in structure was found between the two networks.Caregivers tended to underestimate adolescents' transition readiness. Attaining better concordance between adolescents and family caregivers is critical to aligning roles and responsibilities in the transition process.This study extends the evidence on the variation in adolescents' transition readiness, clarifying the complex associative relationships among the elements of transition readiness, which can be potential pathways for improving transition readiness. Mitochondria play a crucial role in mediating apoptosis and have emerged as a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of cancer. Nevertheless, exploration of mitochondrial apoptosis as a mechanism for anticancer activity in vitro remains notably sparse. Herein, the ligands 4′,4″′‐(phenylazanediyl)bis(([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐carboxylic acid)) (H2L1) and 4′,4″′‐(phenylazanediyl)bis(3‐fluoro‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐carboxylic acid) (H2L2) were synthesized and further combined with organotin precursors and auxiliary ligands (4,4′‐bipy = 4,4′‐bipyridine, 4,4′‐bpe = 4,4′‐vinylenedipyridine) to give eight organotin complexes [(Ph3Sn)2L] (1a and 2a), [(Et3Sn)2L]n (1b and 2b), [(n‐Bu3Sn)2L(4,4′‐bipy)]n (1c and 2c), [(n‐Bu3Sn)2L(4,4′‐bpec)]n (1d and 2d). The complexes were characterized by X‐ray single crystal diffraction, NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn), IR, and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The complexes exhibited strong anticancer activity against the four cancer cells and a certain degree of broad‐spectrum with the IC50 ranging from 0.25 to 22.43 μM. Furthermore, complexes 2a and 2b were selected as representatives to further investigate their anticancer mechanisms. The results suggested that these complexes could target mitochondria after cellular uptake, thereby inducing intracellular ROS production, leading to MMP collapse and activation of caspase‐3, that is, these complexes potentially exert their anticancer effects through the mitochondria‐mediated apoptotic pathway. Many enclosed public spaces with multiple destinations often feature obstacles, such as columns within the building space and dense crowds, which adversely affect the recognition and guidance of pedestrian sign. To mitigate this issue, enhancing traffic efficiency necessitates the implementation of auxiliary guidance signs. However, experience-based schemes for positioning these signs often require iterative adjustments to achieve the desired effect. Thus, this paper endeavors to address this challenge by analyzing the relationship between obstacles and pedestrians' visual blind areas. It establishes a mathematical model to describe pedestrian visual perception and its correlation with crowd density and individual visual field function. The model employs the effective aggregation area of the population exceeding a certain density threshold as its primary variable and enhances this variable's function. Subsequently, it formulates an effect function that yields a substantial improvement in various combinations and permutations of auxiliary guidance signs. To exemplify this research, a large subway transfer hall with multiple destinations serves as a simulation model. The study calculates the optimal combination of auxiliary guidance sign placements that align with the enhancement effect function. Based on this combination, an optimized layout plan is derived, resulting in a significant improvement. The results demonstrate that the auxiliary guidance sign layout scheme proposed in this study markedly enhances traffic efficiency in enclosed public spaces. Objectives: Comorbidities, as components of these heterogeneous features, often coexist with knee osteoarthritis, and are particularly prevalent in end-stage knee osteoarthritis. Here, we attempted to identify the different clinical phenotypes of comorbidities in patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis by cluster analysis. Methods: A total of 421 inpatients diagnosed with end-stage knee osteoarthritis who underwent inpatient surgery were included in this cross-sectional study. 23 demographic, comorbidity, inflammatory immune and evaluation scale variables were collected. Systematic clustering after factor analysis and separate two-step cluster analysis were performed for individual comorbidity variables and all variables, respectively, to objectively identify the different clinical phenotypes of the study patients. Results: Four clusters were finally identified. Cluster 1 had the largest proportion of obese patients (93.8%) and hypertension was common (71.2%). Almost all patients in cluster 2 were depressed (95.8%) and anxiety disorders (94.7%). Cluster 3 combined patients with isolated end-stage knee osteoarthritis and a few comorbidities. Cluster 4 had the highest proportion of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (58.8%). Conclusions: Patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis may be classified into four different clinical phenotypes: "isolated end-stage knee osteoarthritis"; "obesity + hypertension"; "depression + anxiety"; and "rheumatoid arthritis", which may help guide individualized patient care and treatment strategies. There are three modalities are used in clinical practice for myomectomy: abdominal myomectomy (AM), laparoscopic myomectomy (LM), and robot‐assisted laparoscopic myomectomy (RLM).To compare the perioperative and postoperative outcomes of RLM, AM, and LM.We searched PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Clinical Trials for relevant literature published between January 2000 and January 2023.We included all studies reporting peri‐ and postoperative outcomes of myomectomy in patients with uterine myomas. Surgical treatments were classified as RLM, LM, or AM.Two or more authors selected studies independently, assessed risk of bias, and extracted data. We derived mean difference (MD) or odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for each outcome, subgrouping trials by the patient characteristics and myoma characteristics. We used the I2 statistic to quantify heterogeneity and the random‐effects model for meta‐analysis when appropriate. We used the funnel plot to assess the publication bias.A total of 32 studies with 6357 patients were included, of which 1982 women had undergone RLM. The operating time was significantly longer (MD = 43.58, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 25.22–61.93, P < 0.001), and the incidence of cesarean section after myomectomy was significantly lower (OR = 0.27, 95% CI: 0.10–0.78, P = 0.02) in RLM than in LM. Compared with AM, the operation time, blood loss, blood transfusion rate, complication rate, total cost, length of hospital stay, and pregnancy rate of patients with RLM were significantly different.The safety and effectiveness of RLM are superior to those of AM but inferior to those of LM. This article explores the association between internet use and Chinese migrant older adults' life satisfaction based on the displacement hypothesis. Using 2016 and 2018 China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) data, we find that internet use is significantly associated with lower life satisfaction. The association is stronger in the female, age 71 and above and low‐income groups. Mediation analysis suggests that social capital has a significant mediating effect in linking internet use and life satisfaction, accounting for about 25% of the total effect of internet use. Based on the findings, we recommend appropriate interventions for internet use and promote social inclusion of migrant older adults, so as to further improve their quality of life. Tibetan Plateau vortices (TPVs) are major rainfall triggers over the Tibetan Plateau (TP), which often cause heavy rainfalls in eastern China when moving off the TP. Although previous studies have revealed the climatic characteristics of TPVs at different timescales, the relationships between the different activity characteristics of TPVs are unclear. In this study, TPVs during May to August during 1998–2020 are objectively identified based on ERA5 reanalysis data, and connections between the initial states of TPVs and their subsequent activities, as well as the connections between the states of TPVs before moving off the TP and those after moving off are investigated. It is reported that the TPVs generated over the central and western TP north of 32° N, particularly near 84° E, 35° N, are always stronger, maintain longer and move further in their subsequent life, and the TPVs generated near 95° E over the eastern TP move eastwards the fastest. The initial intensity of most TPVs is smaller than 1.1 × 10−4 s−1; regarding these TPVs, their average duration, movement distance and movement speed exhibit an initial decrease followed by an increase as the initial intensity rises. The stronger the TPVs initially are, the stronger they are in their entire lifetime. The majority of the moving‐off TPVs are generated over the eastern TP; generally, TPVs generated further east with a large initial intensity are more likely to move off the TP. After moving off the TP, most TPVs remain in the same movement direction as before; if the TPVs are strong when they are over the TP, they tend to be strong, last long and move eastwards further after moving off the TP, and vice versa. O3‐type layered oxides are considered as one of the most promising cathode materials for rechargeable sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) due to their appealing energy density and feasible synthesis. Nevertheless, it undergoes complicated phase transitions and pronounced structural degradation during the cycling of charge/discharge process, rendering severe volumetric strain and poor cycling performance. Herein, a zero‐strain high‐entropy NaNi0.2Fe0.2Mn0.35Cu0.05Zn0.1Sn0.1O2 cathode for SIBs is presented by high‐entropy phase stabilization engineering. It is verified that this low‐nickel cobalt‐free high‐entropy cathode can deliver a highly reversible phase evolution, zero volumetric strain, and a significantly improved cycling performance in full cells (87% capacity retention after 500 cycles at 3.0  C). Combining X‐ray absorption spectra and first‐principles calculations, the varied elemental functions in the high‐entropy framework are clearly elucidated, namely, Ni/Fe/Cu acts as charge compensators, while Mn/Zn/Sn serve as interlayer slipping inhibitors through enhanced charge localization besides their stable valence states. By addressing the volumetric strain and cycling instability concerns for O3‐type cathode materials, this work presents a promising strategy for inhibiting irreversible phase transitions and structural degradation in intercalation electrodes, which significantly boosts the development of commercially feasible cathodes for high‐performance SIBs. AbstractChinese property law plays a significant role in the reforms of the Chinese economic system by establishing protective legal frameworks. This study utilizes the enactment of the Property Law in 2007 as a quasi-natural experiment and employs the difference-in-differences method to investigate the law’s impact on firm exports in China. The results indicate that firms’ exports experienced a significant increase after the law’s enactment. These findings remain robust after controlling for additional fixed effects, alternative subsamples, and measures of core variables. The law affects firm exports through two mechanisms: informal financial channels, such as trade credit with trading partners, and formal financial channels, such as borrowings from banks and other financial institutions. Heterogeneity analyses suggest that the export effect is positively related to firms that rely heavily on external financing and are not politically connected. Moreover, this correlation is accentuated in regions characterized by more conservative credit development and heightened efficiency in law enforcement. In addition, the promotional effect is more pronounced in firms exporting to high-income countries. These findings suggest that property rights protection in China significantly impacts trade and provides a comparative advantage to firms’ exports. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Tracheal, bronchus, and lung cancer (TBL) is one of the main cancer health problems worldwide, but data on the burden and trends of early‐onset tracheal, bronchus, and lung cancer (EO‐TBL) are sparse. The aim of the present study was to provide the latest and the most comprehensive burden estimates of the EO‐TBL cancer from 1990 to 2019. Methods: Overall, we used data from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study in EO‐TBL cancer from 1990 to 2019. Evaluation metrics included incidence, mortality, and disability‐adjusted life years (DALYs). The joinpoint regression model was used to analyze the temporal trends. Decomposition analysis was employed to analyze the driving factors for EO‐TBL cancer burden alterations. Bayesian age‐period‐cohort (BAPC) analysis was used to estimate trends in the next 20 years. Results: The global age‐standardized incidence rate (ASIR), age‐standardized mortality rate (ASMR), and age‐standardized DALYs rate (ASDR) for EO‐TBL cancer decreased significantly from 3.95 (95% uncertainty interval [UI]: 3.70–4.24), 3.41 (95% UI: 3.19–3.67), 158.68 (95% UI: 148.04–170.92) in 1990 to 2.82 (95% UI: 2.54–3.09), 2.28 (95% UI: 2.07–2.49), 106.47 (95% UI: 96.83–116.51) in 2019 with average annual percent change (AAPC) of −1.14% (95% confidence interval [CI]: −1.32 to −0.95), −1.37% (95% CI: −1.55 to −1.18), and − 1.35% (95% CI: −1.54 to −1.15) separately. The high and high‐middle sociodemographic index (SDI) region had a higher burden of EO‐TBL cancer but demonstrated a downward trend. The most prominent and significant upward trends were Southeast and South Asia, Africa, and women in the low SDI and low‐middle SDI quintiles. At the regional and national level, there were significant positive correlations between ASDR, ASIR, ASMR, and SDI. Decomposition analysis showed that population growth and aging have driven the increase in the number of incidence, mortality, and DALYs in the global population, especially among the middle SDI quintile and the East Asia region. The BAPC results showed that ASDR, ASIR, and ASMR in women would increase but the male population remained relatively flat over the next 20 years. Conclusions: Although global efforts have been the most successful and effective in reducing the burden of EO‐TBL cancer over the past three decades, there was strong regional and gender heterogeneity. In the present work, the biocompatible sulfobetaine‐type zwitterionic surfactant (SB‐n) was selected to construct hydrophobic ionic liquid (HIL)‐based bicontinuous microemulsion (BME). It is shown that the [C8mim][PF6] (1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate)‐based BME stabilized by mixed SB‐8/SB‐16 is more suitable for the expression of lipase activity than that stabilized by a single SB‐12. It is also demonstrated that the lipase activity in the present BME is higher than in the corresponding droplet‐type microemulsion. The lipase‐catalyzed hydrolysis of racemic α‐phenylethyl esters was used as a model reaction. It is found that the yield and the enantiomeric excess (ee) value of the product α‐phenylethanol depend on the lipase sources. In the SB‐8/SB‐16‐stabilized BME, Candida antarctica lipase (B) has the best hydrolysis activity and stereoselectivity toward α‐phenylethyl esters. It is also found that the surfactant content, buffer pH and substrate chain length affect the yield and the ee value of the product. Under optimized conditions, a yield of 41 % and an ee value of ~100 % were obtained. BACKGROUND: Bone defects and deep periodontal pockets often exist distal to the second molar after mandibular third molar extraction, seriously threatening the periodontal health of the second molar. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of socket preservation with bone substitute materials on alveolar bone resorption and prevention of the distal periodontal defect of the adjacent tooth after mandibular impacted third molar extraction compared with natural healing. METHODS: Ninety-nine patients with mandibular impacted teeth, treated in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2020, were randomly divided into the control and experimental groups. The experimental group underwent minimally invasive tooth extraction and socket preservation using the deproteinised bovine bone mineral, Bio-Oss and the bioabsorbable collagen membrane, Bio-Gide. The control group healed naturally after minimally invasive tooth extraction. The alveolar ridge dimension of the extraction sites, the probing depth, tooth mobility and gingival index on the distal aspect of the mandibular second molars were examined and recorded before and six months after the operations. RESULTS: There was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the alveolar bone width (P < 0.05) and height (P < 0.05) before and after surgery. The probing depth of the extraction sites in both groups was reduced. CONCLUSION: Using Bio-Oss and Bio-Gide to preserve extraction sites of impacted teeth can promote recovery more effectively than natural healing on the height of the distal alveolar bone and the width of the alveolar crest of the second molar and thus improve the periodontal status of the adjacent second molar. A novel ultra‐broadband polarization rotator with advanced angular adjustability is proposed for functional devices such as displays and smart windows. The new solution offers dynamic control of light polarization across a broad range of wavelengths, encompassing the complete visible spectrum, ultraviolet and near‐infrared. Moreover, it boasts a smaller footprint, faster response times, and lower dispersion compared to conventional rotators. The findings are remarkable in that they show that as the viewing angle increases, the hybrid alignment takes on a twist‐like configuration, with the polarization rotation angle determined by the spatial variation in the twist angle. This intriguing behavior leads to an improved range of angular adjustability, as the effective polarization rotation depth is extended. The improved angular adjustability of reconfigurable smart devices surpasses the limitations of traditional polarization rotators, unlocking new innovative possibilities. For example, the rotator plays a crucial role in display technologies, allowing for effective control of viewing angles and minimizing reflection from disturbing external light. Similarly, in smart windows, it optimizes energy conservation by regulating direct sunlight transmission while ensuring clear visibility in normal conditions. Background: Breast cancer is a commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide. Human MutT homolog 1 (MTH1) is found to be elevated in breast tumors and cancer cells need MTH1 for survival. Pharmacological inhibition of MTH1 may be potentially beneficial in the treatment of breast cancer. Methods: MA−24 was screened by malachite green colorimetric assay for MTH1 inhibitors and the kinetic characteristics of MA−24 were assessed. The features of MA−24's binding with MTH1 were ascertained through molecular docking, and the cytotoxic activity of MA−24 was validated in vitro and in vivo. Target engagement assays, comet assay, and Western blot confirmed the intracellular target and mechanism of MA−24. Results: MA−24 shows potent antitumor bioactivity both in vitro and in vivo. MA−24 competitively inhibited the MTH1 and further induced DNA strand breaks, leading to increased apoptosis of cancer cells depending on the upregulation of the cleaved-caspase 3–cleaved-PARP axis. In particular, MA−24 exhibited a powerful efficacy and safety in vivo (tumor growth inhibition rate: 61.8%). Conclusions: MA−24 possesses a broad spectrum of breast cancer cytotoxicity and offered valuable insights for overcoming the challenges of chemotherapy-related toxicity, which holds great potential for the further development MA−24 as an anti-cancer drug. Uncontrolled pathogenic genome mutations in germline cells might impair adult fertility, lead to birth defects or even affect the adaptability of a species. Understanding the sources of DNA damage, as well as the features of damage response in germline cells are the overarching tasks to reduce the mutations in germline cells. With the accumulation of human genome data and genetic reports, genome variants formed in germline cells are being extensively explored. However, the sources of DNA damage, the damage repair mechanisms, and the effects of DNA damage or mutations on the development of germline cells are still unclear. Besides exogenous triggers of DNA damage such as irradiation and genotoxic chemicals, endogenous exposure to inflammation may also contribute to the genome instability of germline cells. In this review, we summarized the features of de novo mutations and the specific DNA damage responses in germline cells and explored the possible roles of inflammation on the genome stability of germline cells. Aircraft icing can cause severe aerodynamic and flight mechanical effects, thus threatening aircraft flight safety. Understanding of aircraft icing, e.g., geometry shape of the ice accretion, is significant for its aerodynamic analysis, control methodologies, and continued design. In this study, a laser sheet scanning approach is developed to achieve the time-resolved geometry shape measurements of the ice accretion. By using the tridimensional calibration board consisted of two special checkerboard plates, all laser plane coefficients during laser sheet scanning could be obtained in advance. Then, based on the two-stage laser line extraction scheme that combined the Steger method with gradient centroid calculation, accurate positioning of the laser lines projected on the ice accretion surface was realized. The proposed approach is demonstrated in the large-scale icing wind tunnel tests of an airfoil model, conducted at the 3 m × 2 m Icing Wind Tunnel of China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center. Temporal evolution of the rime, mixed, and clear ice accretion shapes on the leading edge of the airfoil model was measured throughout the tests, respectively. Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a severe disease with high mortality. Recently, the role of BCL-3 in ICH has started to gain attention, but its mechanism remains unclear. A collagenase injection method was used to establish an ICH model in rats, and the expression of BCL-3 were detected. Rat brain microvascular endothelial cells (rBMECs) were isolated and induced with Hemin to establish an in vitro ICH model. The expression of BCL-3 was assessed, followed by detection of cell apoptosis. In the cell model, the recruitment, polarization, and pro-inflammatory features of the microglia (MGs) were assessed after co-cultured with rBMECs. Finally, in the ICH animal model, after knockdown of BCL-3, comprehensive evaluations of inflammatory responses in brain tissue, polarization and recruitment of microglia, and apoptosis were conducted. Results revealed an upregulated expression of BCL-3 in brain tissue of the ICH animal model. In Hemin-treated rBMECs, an upward trend in BCL-3 expression was observed, accompanied by an increase of cell apoptosis. After co-culturing with the in vitro model, microglia exhibited enhanced M1 polarization and intensified inflammatory responses. However, when BCL-3 expression was inhibited in the in vitro model, a reversal occurred in the polarization tendency and inflammatory responses of microglia. Additionally, after knockdown of BCL-3 in the animal model, notable improvements occurred in M1 polarization, infiltration of macrophages, and inflammatory reactions in the brain tissue. Therefore, BCL-3 modulates the inflammatory response after ICH occurrence through the BMECs/MGs microenvironment. Additionally, BCL-3 might be a potential therapeutic target for ICH management. Background: To compare the clinical and radiological outcomes of monoplanar screws (MSs) versus hybrid fixed axial and polyaxial screws (HSs) in percutaneous short-segment intermediate screw fixation (PSISF) for traumatic thoracolumbar burst fractures (TTBFs) in patients without neurologic impairment. Methods: A consecutive series of 100 patients with single-segment TTBFs and no neurologic impairment who underwent PSISF with 6 monoplanar screws (MS group) or correct were retrospectively enrolled. The demographic data, radiologic evaluation indicators, perioperative indicators and clinical assessment indicators were analysed between the MS group and HS group. Results: The demographic data and perioperative indicators were not significantly different in the two groups (P > 0.05). The postoperative anterior vertebral height ratio (AVHR), kyphosis Cobb angle (KCA), vertebral wedge angle (VWA) and spinal canal encroachment rate (SCER) were significantly improved in both groups (*P < 0.05). The MS group obtained better correction than the HS group in terms of improvement in the AVHR, KCA and VWA after surgery (*P < 0.05). At the last follow-up, the MS group had less correction loss of AVHR, KCA and VWA (*P < 0.05). The MS group presented greater improvement in the SCER at the last follow-up (*P < 0.05). The visual analogue scale (VAS) score and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score of all patients were significantly better postoperatively than those preoperatively (*P < 0.05), and the scores collected at each follow-up visit did not differ significantly between the two groups (P > 0.05). In the MS group, no internal fixation failure was observed during the follow-up period, but, in the HS group, two cases of internal fixation failure were observed at the last follow-up (one case of rod loosening and one case of screw breakage). Conclusions: Both MSs and HSs fixation are effective treatments for TTBFs and have comparable clinical outcomes. In contrast, MSs fixation can improve the correction effect, better improve the SCER, and further reduce correction loss as well as reduce the incidence of instrumentation failure. Simple Summary: Transition interventions can be used to educate and empower childhood cancer survivors (CCSs), preparing them for transition toward assuming adult roles and functions, which can have a sustainable impact on disease prevention and management in long-term survival. The lack of transition interventions is a major barrier for CCSs in transition to adult survivorship care. This review summarized several key aspects of transition interventions, such as delivering knowledge, developing skills for the coordination of care, and addressing psychosocial needs. which may provide strong evidence for facilitating optimal transition and ultimately improve the ability of CCSs to manage their health and health care to maintain their optimal health and well-being. Purpose: in this scoping review, previously reported data were described and synthesized to document transition interventions in CCSs, and the features of intervention components of the current transition studies for CCSs were summarized. Methods: A literature search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Ovid, and the Cochrane Library following the PRISMA-ScR statement. All original studies (n = 9) investigating transition interventions in CCSs were included. Results: The current studies identified essential elements for transition programs, such as delivering knowledge, developing skills for coordination of care, and addressing psychosocial needs. However, the current transition interventions were generally in their infancy, and major deficits were found, including poorly reported intervention components and procedures, a limited number of relevant validated outcomes, and a failure to incorporate conceptual frameworks and international consensus statements. Conclusions: This scoping review mapped current evidence of transition interventions for CCSs and highlighted the paucity of data in this area. [Display omitted] Slippery liquid-infused porous surface (SLIPS) has shown significant application values in various areas and has been commonly obtained by injecting the water-immiscible lubricant into a low-surface-energy modified micro/nano-structured surface. Constrained by the availability of desirable structured substrates or simple preparation schemes, the exploration of SLIPS with multifunctionality and universality that is facile to fabricate and robust in realistic applications remains challenging. Herein, we propose a one-step, fluoride-free and unconventional protocol based on a one-pot reaction of polysilazane (PSZ), silicone oils and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), which creates not only the favorable micro/nano-scale physical structures and surface chemistry for the excellent slippery property (sliding angle < 3°) and robust lubricant retention, but also the superior photothermal responsiveness for the potential multifunctional applications. It has been demonstrated that the proposed multifunctional slippery photothermal coating (MSPC) displayed outstanding potential in corrosion resistance, droplet manipulation and anti/de-icing. Extracellular elastin‐derived peptides (EDPs) accumulate in the aging brain and have been associated with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease (AD). The activation of inflammatory processes in glial cells with EDP treatment has received attention, but not in neurons. To properly understand EDPs' pathogenic significance, the impact on neuronal function and neuron–microglia crosstalk was explored further. Among the EDP molecules, Val‐Gly‐Val‐Ala‐Pro‐Gly (VGVAPG) is a typical repeating hexapeptide. Here, we observed that EDPs‐VGVAPG influenced neuronal survival and morphology in a dose‐dependent manner. High concentrations of VGVAPG induced synapse loss and microglia hyperactivation in vivo and in vitro. Following EDP incubation, galectin 3 (Gal‐3) released by neurons served as a chemokine, attracting microglial engulfment. Blocking Gal‐3 and EDP binding remedied synapse loss in neurons and phagocytosis in microglia. In response to the accumulation of EDPs, proteomics in matrix remodeling and cytoskeleton dynamics, such as a disintegrin and metalloproteinase (ADAM) family, were engaged. These findings in extracellular EDPs provided more evidence for the relationship between aging and neuron dysfunction, increasing the insight of neuroinflammatory responses and the development of new specialized extracellular matrix remolding‐targeted therapy options for dementia or other neurodegenerative disease. The accelerated failure time (AFT) model offers an important and useful alternative to the conventional Cox proportional hazards model, particularly when the proportional hazards assumption for a Cox model is violated. Since an AFT model is basically a log‐linear model, meaningful interpretations of covariate effects on failure times can be made directly. However, estimation of a semiparametric AFT model imposes computational challenges even when it only has time‐fixed covariates, and the situation becomes much more complicated when time‐varying covariates are included. In this paper, we propose a penalised likelihood approach to estimate the semiparametric AFT model with right‐censored failure time, where both time‐fixed and time‐varying covariates are permitted. We adopt the Gaussian basis functions to construct a smooth approximation to the nonparametric baseline hazard. This model fitting method requires a constrained optimisation approach. A comprehensive simulation study is conducted to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method. An application of our method to a motor neuron disease data set is provided. Lithium‐rich layered oxides (LLOs, Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2) are widely used as cathode materials for lithium‐ion batteries due to its high specific capacity, high operating voltage and low cost. However, the LLOs are faced with rapid decay of charge/discharge capacity and voltage, as well as interface side reactions, which limit its electrochemical performance. Herein, the dual strategies of sulfite/sodium ion co‐doping and lithium carbonate coating were used to improve it. It founds that modified LLOs achieve 88.74 % initial coulomb efficiency, 295.3 mAh g−1 first turn discharge capacity, in addition to 216.9 mAh g−1 at 1 C, and 87.23 % capacity retention after 100 cycles. Mechanism research indicated that the excellent electrochemical performance benefits from the doping of both Na+ and SO32−, and it could significantly reduce the migration energy barrier of Li+ and promote Li+ migration. Meanwhile, anion and cation are co‐doped greatly reduces the band gap of LLOs and increase its electrical conductivity, and its binding effect on Li+ is weakened, making it easier for Li+ to shuttle through the material. In addition, the lithium carbonate coating significantly inhibits the occurrence of interfacial side reactions of LLOs. In consideration of how to promote employees' work proactivity in the time frame of performance appraisals, we focused on a time-related construct called the performance appraisal interval (PAI). Drawing from psychological momentum theory, we constructed a model of the dual effect of the PAI on employees' proactive work behavior. A cross-level analysis of 561 employees from 55 groups indicated that PAI was positively related to delayed gratification, but the effect decreased gradually as time passed. Delayed gratification was positively related to proactive work behavior and mediated the relationship between PAI and proactive work behavior. Second, PAI was positively related to perceived uncertainty and the effect gradually increased over time. Perceived uncertainty was negatively related to proactive work behavior and mediated the relationship between PAI and proactive work behavior. In this study we found a compatible explanatory mechanism to integrate the positive and negative effects of a given PAI, which provides a new explanatory mechanism for stimulating proactive work behavior. Mangifera indica L. cv. Keitt is a cold-stress fruit plant native to China's drought river valley. Chilling stress affects productivity. Understanding the mechanisms of chilling stress is important to increasing chilling resistance in mango. Leaves of Keitti were subjected to 4 °C for 0, 3, 6, and 9 h for RNA-Seq-based transcriptome analysis, respectively. The chlorophyll content, carotenoid content, catalase, and peroxidase activities significantly increased during 9 h. The leaves responded to the stress by enhancing photosynthetic pigment content and antioxidant enzyme activity. After 3 h of chilling, 410 genes were differentially expressed. WRKY70 and PLD1 were significantly up-regulated after 9 h. Compared to 9 and 0 h, there were 1123 DEG. The DEGs are enriched in hormonal signal transduction, secondary metabolites, and the abiotic stress response. Auditory brainstem response (ABR) is the response of the brain stem through the auditory nerve. The ABR test is a method of testing for loss of hearing through electrical signals. Basically, the test is conducted on patients such as the elderly, the disabled, and infants who have difficulty in communication. This test has the advantage of being able to determine the presence or absence of objective hearing loss by brain stem reactions only, without any communication. This paper proposes the image preprocessing process required to construct an efficient graph image data set for deep learning models using auditory brainstem response data. To improve the performance of the deep learning model, we standardized the ABR image data measured on various devices with different forms. In addition, we applied the VGG16 model, a CNN-based deep learning network model developed by a research team at the University of Oxford, using preprocessed ABR data to classify the presence or absence of hearing loss and analyzed the accuracy of the proposed method. This experimental test was performed using 10,000 preprocessed data, and the model was tested with various weights to verify classification learning. The Pingliang red cattle, an outstanding indigenous resource in China, possesses an exceptional breeding value attributed to its tender meat and superior marbling quality. Currently, research efforts have predominantly concentrated on exploring its maternal origin and conducting conventional phenotypic studies. However, there remains a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding its genetic basis. To address this gap, we conducted a thorough whole-genome analysis to investigate the population structure, phylogenetic relationships, and gene flows of this breed using genomic SNP chip data from 17 bovine breeds. The results demonstrate that Pingliang red cattle have evolved distinct genetic characteristics unique to this breed, clearly distinguishing it from other breeds. Based on the analysis of the population structure and phylogenetic tree, it can be classified as a hybrid lineage between Bos taurus and Bos indicus. Furthermore, Pingliang red cattle display a more prominent B. taurus pedigree in comparison with Jinnan, Qinchuan, Zaosheng, Nanyang, and Luxi cattle. Moreover, this study also revealed closer genetic proximity within the Chinese indigenous cattle breed, particularly Qinchuan cattle, which shares the longest identical by descent (IBD) fragment with Pingliang red cattle. Gene introgression analysis shows that Pingliang red cattle have undergone gene exchange with South Devon and Red Angus cattle from Europe. Admixture analysis revealed that the proportions of East Asian taurine and Chinese indicine in the ancestry of Pingliang red cattle are approximately 52.44% and 21.00%, respectively, while Eurasian taurine, European taurine, and Indian indicine account for approximately 17.55%, 7.27%, and 1.74%. Our findings unveil distinct genetic characteristics in Pingliang red cattle and attribute their origin to B. taurus and B. indicus ancestry, as well as contributions from Qinchuan cattle, South Devon, and Red Angus. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disease characterized by articular cartilage loss, which afflicts many people worldwide. Knowing the disease severity can improve the recovery rate of OA. Antibody array technology was utilized for protein expression profiling of synovial fluid from eight mild knee OA patients, eight severe knee OA patients and 16 healthy persons. Subsequently, 48 mild OA patients, 56 severe OA patients and 24 healthy controls were utilized for validation by ELISA. In the protein expression profiling, inducible costimulator (ICOS) levels were markedly higher in OA patients compared with those in the healthy population, and were significantly higher in severe OA than those in mild OA. Furthermore, ICOS levels were shown to be significantly correlated with WOMAC, MRI‐MOAKS and MRI‐UTE‐T2* scores. The multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that higher levels of ICOS could significantly increase the risk of severe OA. Synovial ICOS levels were positively correlated with the radiographic severity of OA. Rock quality designation (RQD), as a well-accepted and appliable rock quality index, is crucial in geotechnical engineering. Current RQD estimation mainly relies on either manual statistics or the image binarisation method, while the former approach surrenders high labour intensity and low efficiency and the latter one is constrained by image acquisition. Considering the above-mentioned limitations in RQD estimation, this study proposed a novel convolutional neural network (CNN) approach to automatically perform core recognition and RQD cataloguing with significant improvement in accuracy and efficiency. Firstly, the proposed neural network automatically identified the prefabricated round markers to distinct drilling rounds. To maximumly strengthen the engineering capability of CNN without losing generality, we considered image inversion, rotation, noise addition, and RGB conversion of 200 core box samples in total. Secondly, replacing the unstable image binarisation method, the advanced YOLO V2 object detection model, a single-stage real-time object detection model, was adopted in this study. We also proposed the modified four-layer downsampling structure as our CNN, and then developed an automatic recognition approach for both cores and the round markers, resulting in a 93.1% accuracy according to the validation set. Thirdly, this study proposed an auto-ranking algorithm to sequence the core sample according to the confidence of core recognition by the CNN and row-scanning results for subsequent RQD cataloguing. In addition, the optimal scan width was proved to be 1.33 times larger than the average core width. Finally, a quick cataloguing platform for drill cores was developed. Compared with manual measurement and visual statistics, intelligent RQD cataloguing is characterised by its unparalleled accuracy and efficiency, which is merited by the low relative error (1.84%) and fast processing time (around 0.2 s). Moreover, the application presented in this paper is applicable to most geotechnical engineering scenarios. Logistics security, as the lifeline of the economy connecting production, distribution, and consumption, holds a pivotal position in the modern economic system, where any potential threats like natural disasters or cyber attacks could have far-reaching impacts on the overall economy. With a unique large-scale logistics data set, logistics networks between cities in China are constructed. We thus identify communities of cities that have dense logistics connections in these networks. The cities in the communities are found to exhibit strong connections in the economy, resources, and industry. The detected communities are also aligned with the urban agglomerations mentioned in the guidelines reported by the National Development and Reform Commission of China. We further extend our analysis to assess the resilience of the city logistics networks, especially focusing on the influence of community structures. Random and intentional attacks are considered in our resilience analysis. Our results reveal that the city logistics networks are robust to the random attacks and are vulnerable to the intentional attacks on the nodes with dense links between and within communities. Our results not only deepen our understanding of the community structure and resilience of the city logistics networks but also provide insights on how to improve the efficiency and safety of intercity logistics. In the heavy petroleum industry, the development of efficient demulsifiers for the effective breaking of interfacially active asphaltenes (IAA)-stabilized water-in-heavy oil (W/HO) emulsions is a highly attractive but challenging goal. Herein, a novel nitrogen and oxygen containing demulsifier (JXGZ) with strong hydrogen bonding has been successfully synthesized through combining esterification, polymerization and amidation. Bottle tests indicated that JXGZ is effectual in quickly demulsifying the IAA-stabilized W/HO emulsions; complete dehydration (100%) to the emulsions could be achieved in 4 min at 55 °C using 400 ppm of JXGZ. In addition, the effects of demulsifier concentration, temperature and time on the demulsification performance of JXGZ are systematically analyzed. Demulsification mechanisms reveal that the excellent demulsification performance of JXGZ is attributed to the strong hydrogen bonding between JXGZ and water molecules (dual swords synergistic effect under hydrogen bond reconstruction). The interaction of the "dual swords synergistic effect" generated by two types of hydrogen bonds can quickly break the non-covalent interaction force (π-π stacking, Van der Waals force, hydrogen bonds) of IAA at the heavy oil–water interface, quickly promote the aggregation and coalescence of water molecules and finally achieve the demulsification of W/HO emulsions. These findings indicate that the JXGZ demulsifier shows engineering application prospects in the demulsification of heavy oil–water emulsions, and this work provides the key information for developing more efficient chemical demulsifiers suitable for large-scale industrial applications. Hydrogen (H2) sensors are critical to various applications such as the situation where H2 is used as the clean energy for industry or the indicator for human disease diagnosis. Palladium (Pd) is widely used as the hydrogen sensing material in different types of sensors. Optical fiber H2 sensors are particularly promising due to their compactness and spark-free operation. Here, we report a Fabry–Pérot (FP)-cavity-based H2 sensor that is formed with a freestanding Pd membrane and integrated on a conventional single-mode optical fiber end. The freestanding Pd membrane acts both as the active hydrogen sensing material and as one of the reflective mirrors of the cavity. When the Pd film absorbs H2 to form PdHx, it will be stretched, resulting in a change of the cavity length and thus a shift of the interference spectrum. The H2 concentration can be derived from the amplitude of the wavelength shift. Experimental results showed that H2 sensors based on suspended Pd membranes can achieve a detection sensitivity of about 3.6 pm/ppm and a detection limit of about 3.3 ppm. The yak (Bos grunniens) is a unique breed living on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and its surrounding areas, providing locals with a variety of vital means of living and production. However, the yak has poor sexual maturity and low fertility. High-quality mature oocytes are the basis of animal breeding technology. Recently, in vitro culturing of oocytes and embryo engineering technology have been applied to yak breeding. However, compared to those observed in vivo, the maturation rate and developmental capacity of in vitro oocytes are still low, which severely limits the application of in vitro fertilization and embryo production in yaks. This review summarizes the endogenous and exogenous factors affecting the in vitro maturation (IVM) and developmental ability of yak oocytes reported in recent years and provides a theoretical basis for obtaining high-quality oocytes for in vitro fertilization and embryo production in yaks. Spin-dependent nonlinear harmonic generations from nanostructures may provide a new class of design for future applications such as nonlinear optical switching and modulation and nonlinear information processing. Most reported works are based on the utilization of metasurfaces with specific symmetry (such as C3 and C4) and the application of the Pancharatnam–Berry phase approach, making them sensitive to local defects. In this work, we investigated a controllable second harmonic generation (SHG) based on the topological spin-dependent edge state, which is robust to a broad class of perturbations. Simulation results demonstrated that spin-dependent edge states with strong field localization can be obtained through spin–orbit coupling, resulting in SHG with increased efficiency. In addition, the propagation direction of the enhanced SHG could be dynamically controlled using an excitation source with left/right circular polarizations, exhibiting negligible backscattering and topological protection against local defects. Cumulus granulosa cells (CGCs), an important type of ovarian somatic cells, carries out various functions related to oogenesis, follicular development, and steroidogenesis. Studying the biological mechanisms involved in the development and function of CGCs makes a great contribution to understanding the reproductive regulation in female animals. Stanniocalcin-1 (STC1) is an important Ca2+-regulated glycoprotein hormone that exhibits high expression levels in ovaries. In this study, we cloned the coding sequence of the yak STC1 , predicted the structure of STC1 protein, detected the expression and localization of STC1 in yak ovaries, and analyzed the functions of STC1 in yak CGCs. The CDS (coding sequence) region of yak STC1 gene was found to be 744 bp and encoded 247 amino acids. Homology comparison revealed that STC1 protein was highly conserved among mammals. The STC1 mRNA displayed dynamic expression profiles in different stages of yak ovaries, and the highest expression was found in the follicular phase. Regarding localization, STC1 protein was widely distributed in various kinds of yak ovarian cells, including oocytes, mural granulosa cells, CGCs, and thecal cells. Repressing the expression of STC1 resulted in defective proliferation and survival of yak CGCs. In addition, knockdown the expression of STC1 repressed the secretion of progesterone and promoted the secretion of estrogen. Overexpression of STC1 partially rescued the proliferation of CGCs and resulted in opposite effects on the secretion of progesterone and estrogen. Several apoptosis and steroidogenesis-related genes, including BAX , BCL2 , HSD3B1 , HSD17B1, CYP11A1 and CYP17A1 showed altered expressions after repressing or increasing the expression of STC1 in yak CGCs. The digital divide between urban and rural adolescents is widening. Many existing studies have found an association between internet use and adolescent mental health, but few use longitudinal data to focus on rural adolescents. We aimed to identify the causal relationships between internet use time and mental health in Chinese rural adolescents. Using a sample of 3694 participants (aged 10–19) from the 2018–2020 China Family Panel Survey (CFPS). Fixed effects model, mediating effect model and instrumental variables method was used to evaluate the causal relationships between internet use time and mental health. We find that more time spent on the internet has a significant negative effect on participants' mental health. This negative impact is stronger in female and senior students groups. Mediating effects analysis suggests that more time spent on the internet increase risk of mental health problems by reducing sleep duration and parent-adolescent communication. Further analysis find that online learning and online shopping is associated with higher depression scores, while online entertainment with lower depression scores. The data do not investigate the specific time spent on internet activities (e.g., learning, shopping, and entertainment), and the long-term impacts of internet use time and mental health have not been tested. Internet use time has a significant negative impact on mental health by crowding out sleep duration and parent-adolescent communication. This article addresses the predefined‐time guaranteed performance attitude tracking problem for takeover the non‐cooperative target spacecraft with model uncertainties, adversarial control torque and gravity gradient torque. Firstly, a novel prescribed performance function (NPPF) is exploited, and then a new non‐singular predefined‐time terminal sliding mode (NPTSM) surface with the transformed tracking error is constructed. Secondly, a non‐singular predefined‐time prescribed performance control (NPTPC) is designed to achieve the guaranteed performance within predefined‐time. It is proved that the proposed control can ensure that the attitude tracking error satisfies the prescribed performance boundaries all the time and converges to a preset small region centered around the equilibrium point within predefined time and then tends to the equilibrium point asymptotically. The appealing feature of the proposed control is predefined‐time stability with quantified transient performance and steady‐state accuracy. Radiotherapy is the first‐line treatment for locally advanced cervical squamous cell cancer (CSCC). However, ≈50% of patients fail to respond to therapy and, in some cases, tumors progress after radical radiotherapy. Here, single‐nucleus RNA‐seq is performed to construct high‐resolution molecular landscapes of various cell types in CSCC before and during radiotherapy, to better understand radiotherapy related molecular responses within tumor microenvironment. The results show that expression levels of a neural‐like progenitor (NRP) program in tumor cells are significantly higher after radiotherapy and these are enriched in the tumors of nonresponding patients. The enrichment of the NRP program in malignant cells from the tumors of nonresponders in an independent cohort analyzed by bulk RNA‐seq is validated. In addition, an analysis of The Cancer Genome Atlas dataset shows that NRP expression is associated with poor prognosis in CSCC patients. In vitro experiments on the CSCC cell line demonstrate that downregulation of neuregulin 1 (NRG1), a key gene from NRP program, is associated with decreased cell growth and increased sensitivity to radiation. Immunohistochemistry staining in cohort 3 validated key genes, NRG1 and immediate early response 3 from immunomodulatory program, as radiosensitivity regulators. When dealing with complex trajectories, and the interference by the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) itself or other flying objects, the traditional detecting methods based on YOLOv5 network mainly focus on one UAV and difficult to detect the multi-UAV effectively. In order to improve the detection method, a novel algorithm combined with swin transformer blocks and a fusion-concat method based on YOLOv5 network, so called SF-YOLOv5, is proposed. Furthermore, by using the distance intersection over union and non-maximum suppression (DIoU-NMS) as post-processing method, the proposed network can remove redundant detection boxes and improve the efficiency of the multi-UAV detection. Experimental results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed network, and show that the mAP trained on the two datasets used in experiments has been improved by 2.5 and 4.11% respectively. The proposed network can detect multi-UAV while ensuring accuracy and speed, and can be effectively used in the field of UAV monitoring or other types of multi-object detection applications. Geometric correction processes contribute to zero-defect manufacturing for improved product quality. Thin-walled metallic components are widely used in numerous applications such as electric vehicles and aircraft due to the lightweight feature, facilitating to achieve zero-emission goals. However, many components suffer geometric imperfections and inaccuracies such as undesired curvatures and twists, seriously affecting subsequent manufacturing operations, for example, automatic welding and assembly. Geometric correction techniques have been established to address these issues, but they have drawn little attention in the scientific community despite their wide applications and urgent demands in the industry. Due to the strict geometric tolerances demanded in high-volume automated production, it is urgent to increase the knowledge needed to develop new techniques to address future industrial challenges. This review paper presents an overview of typical geometric defects in thin-walled components and clarifies the associated underlying generation mechanisms. Attempts have also been made to discuss and categorize geometric correction techniques based on different forming mechanisms. The challenges in correcting complex thin-walled products are discussed. This review paper also provides researchers and engineers with directions to find and select appropriate geometric correction methods to achieve high geometric accuracy for thin-walled metallic components. This paper tackles the saturation and fault-tolerant attitude tracking problem without unwinding for rigid spacecraft with external disturbances and partial loss of actuator effectiveness faults. A hybrid saturation and fault-tolerant attitude control (HSFC) is proposed. The Lyapunov method is employed to prove that the tracking errors of the spacecraft system tend to the equilibrium point asymptotically with HSFC. The advantages of the HSFC are that it is fault-tolerant, anti-unwinding and explicitly upper bounded a priori which means that both actuator saturation and the unwinding phenomenon can be avoided. Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) is a highly invasive disease with the potential to metastasize and cause fatality. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the mechanism behind cSCC in order to devise effective strategies to combat this disease. We investigated the function of circ_TNFRSF21/miR-214-3p/CHI3L1 axis in cSCC. The features of circ_TNFRSF21 was characterized using Sanger sequencing, and RNase R/actinomycin D treatment. Genes and M1/M2 markers levels were assessed by qRT-PCR and IHC. The proliferation, migration, and invasion of cells were evaluated by CCK-8, colony formation, EdU incorporation, and transwell assays. Tumor growth and metastasis in vivo were evaluated by nude mouse xenograft model. Interactions of circ_TNFRSF21/miR-214-3p and miR-214-3p/CHI3L1 were validated by RNA immunoprecipitation and dual luciferase assay. Circ_TNFRSF21 and CHI3L1 expression were elevated in both human cSCC tissues and cells, whereas miR-214-3p was reduced. Circ_TNFRSF21 silencing or miR-214-3p overexpression suppressed cSCC cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and M2 macrophage polarization. Circ_TNFRSF21 functioned as a sponge for miR-214-3p while miR-214-3p directly targeted CHI3L1. Knockdown of miR-214-3p reversed the effects of circ_TNFRSF21 knockdown on cSCC development, while CHI3L1 upregulation reversed the effects of miR-214-3p overexpression. Furthermore, knockdown of circ_TNFRSF21 inhibited cSCC tumor growth and metastasis in vivo. Circ_TNFRSF21 plays a significant role in cSCC progression by enhancing cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and M2 macrophage polarization through inhibiting miR-214-3p and subsequent disinhibition of CHI3L1. In this work, we address the problem of improving the classification performance of machine learning models, especially in the presence of noisy and outlier data. To this end, we first innovatively design a generalized adaptive robust loss function called  V θ (x) . Intuitively,  V θ (x)  can improve the robustness of the model by selecting different robust loss functions for different learning tasks during the learning process via the adaptive parameter  θ. Compared with other robust loss functions,  V θ (x)  has some desirable salient properties, such as symmetry, boundedness, robustness, nonconvexity, and adaptivity, making it suitable for a wide range of machine learning applications. Secondly, a new robust semi-supervised learning framework for pattern classification is proposed. In this learning framework, the proposed robust loss function  V θ (x)  and capped  L 2 , p -norm robust distance metric are introduced to improve the robustness and generalization performance of the model, especially when the outliers are far from the normal data distributions. Simultaneously, based on this learning framework, the Welsch manifold robust twin bounded support vector machine (WMRTBSVM) and its least-squares version are developed. Finally, two effective iterative optimization algorithms are designed, their convergence is proved, and their complexity is calculated. Experimental results on several datasets with different noise settings and different evaluation criteria show that our methods have better classification performance and robustness. With the Cancer dataset, when there is no noise, the classification accuracy of our proposed methods is  94.17 %  and  95.62 % , respectively. When the Gaussian noise is  50 % , the classification accuracy of our proposed methods is  91.76 %  and  90.59 % , respectively, demonstrating that our method has satisfactory classification performance and robustness. Motivation Aligning reads to a variation graph is a standard task in pangenomics, with downstream applications such as improving variant calling. While the vg toolkit [Garrison et al. (Variation graph toolkit improves read mapping by representing genetic variation in the reference. Nat Biotechnol 2018;36:875–9)] is a popular aligner of short reads, GraphAligner [Rautiainen and Marschall (GraphAligner: rapid and versatile sequence-to-graph alignment. Genome Biol 2020;21:253–28)] is the state-of-the-art aligner of erroneous long reads. GraphAligner works by finding candidate read occurrences based on individually extending the best seeds of the read in the variation graph. However, a more principled approach recognized in the community is to co-linearly chain multiple seeds. Results We present a new algorithm to co-linearly chain a set of seeds in a string labeled acyclic graph, together with the first efficient implementation of such a co-linear chaining algorithm into a new aligner of erroneous long reads to acyclic variation graphs, GraphChainer. We run experiments aligning real and simulated PacBio CLR reads with average error rates 15% and 5%. Compared to GraphAligner , GraphChainer aligns 12–17% more reads, and 21–28% more total read length, on real PacBio CLR reads from human chromosomes 1, 22, and the whole human pangenome. On both simulated and real data, GraphChainer aligns between 95% and 99% of all reads, and of total read length. We also show that minigraph [Li et al. The experiment was to study the effect of replacing soybean meal with different proportions of whole plant fermentated hybrid tree on growth performance, carcass traits, meat quality and nutrient apparent digestibility of finishing pigs. A total of 48 healthy 'Duroc x Landrace x Yorkshire' crossbred finishing pigs with an initial weight of (60.44±2.51) kg were randomly divided into four groups, with three replicates in each group and four pigs in each replicate. The finishing pigs in group A (control group) were fed with basal diet, and the finishing pigs in group B, group C and group D were fed with experimental diet with 3%, 5% and 7% whole fermented hybrid tree instead of soybean meal, respectively. The pre-test lasted for 10 d, and the formal test lasted for 45 d. The results showed that compared with group A, the average daily gain of finishing pigs in group B was increased by 2.78% (P>0.05), the eye muscle area, intramuscular fat content and protein content of finishing pigs in experimental groups were significantly increased (P<0.05). The apparent digestibility of acid detergent fiber, crude fat, neutral detergent fiber, calcium and phosphorus in diets of finishing pigs in group C and group D were significantly increased (P<0.05). The experiment indicates that using 3% whole plant fermented hybrid tree instead of soybean meal has better effect on growth performance, meat quality and apparent digestibility of finishing pigs. Osteoarthritis (OA) is chronic arthritis characterized by articular cartilage degradation. However, a comprehensive regulatory network for OA-related microRNAs and DNA methylation modifications has yet to be established. Thus, we aimed to identify epigenetic changes in microRNAs and DNA methylation and establish the regulatory network between miRNAs and DNA methylation. The mRNA, miRNA, and DNA methylation expression profiles of healthy or osteoarthritis articular cartilage samples were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, including GSE169077, GSE175961, and GSE162484. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs), differentially expressed miRNAs (DEMs), and differentially methylated genes (DMGs) were analyzed by the online tool GEO2R. DAVID and STRING databases were applied for functional enrichment analysis and protein-protein interaction (PPI) network. Potential therapeutic compounds for the treatment of OA were identified by Connectivity map (CMap) analysis. A total of 1424 up-regulated DEGs, 1558 down-regulated DEGs, 5 DEMs with high expression, 6 DEMs with low expression, 1436 hypermethylated genes, and 455 hypomethylated genes were selected. A total of 136 up-regulated and 65 downregulated genes were identified by overlapping DEGs and DEMs predicted target genes which were enriched in apoptosis and circadian rhythm. A total of 39 hypomethylated and 117 hypermethylated genes were obtained by overlapping DEGs and DMGs, which were associated with ECM receptor interactions and cellular metabolic processes, cell connectivity, and transcription. Moreover, The PPI network showed COL5A1, COL6A1, LAMA4, T3GAL6A, and TP53 were the most connective proteins. After overlapping of DEGs, DMGs and DEMs predicted targeted genes, 4 up-regulated genes and 11 down-regulated genes were enriched in the Axon guidance pathway. The top ten genes ranked by PPI network connectivity degree in the up-regulated and downregulated overlapping genes of DEGs and DMGs were further analyzed by the CMap database, and nine chemicals were predicted as potential drugs for the treatment of OA. To alleviate the negative effects of air pollution, this paper explores a mixed prediction model of pollutant concentration based on the machine learning method. Firstly, in order to improve the prediction performance of the sparrow search algorithm least square support vector machine (SSA-LSSVM), a reverse learning strategy-lens principle is introduced, and a better solution is obtained by optimizing the current solution and reverse solution at the same time. Secondly, according to the nonlinear and non-stationary characteristics of the time series data of PM 2.5 and PM 10 , the variational mode decomposition (VMD) method is used to decompose the original data to obtain the appropriate K value. Finally, experimental verification and an empirical analysis are carried out. In experiment 1, we verified the good performance of the model on University of California Irvine Machine Learning Repository (UCI) datasets. In experiment 2, we predicted the pollutant data of different cities in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region in different time periods, and obtained five error results and compared them with six other algorithms. Objective: Parkinson's disease is one of the most common neurodegenerative diseases in the world, which seriously damages motor and balance ability. Dual-task training is discussed as an appropriate intervention. The aim of this review was to synthesize the existing research findings on the efficacy of dual-task training for people with Parkinson's disease. Data resources: A systematic search on PubMed, CENTRAL, Embase, Web of Science, and PEDro, randomized-controlled trials (RCTs) of dual-task training for individuals with Parkinson's disease. Methods: Articles published until 1 November 2022 were included. Our search identified 7 RCTs with a total of 406 subjects. Review Manager 5.4 software was used for bias evaluation and to process the results of the outcome measures collected from the investigations. Results: Dual-task training was associated with significant improvement in most motor and balance outcomes including gait velocity (standard mean difference (SMD) = 0.62; 95% CI, 0.37–0.87; I 2 = 31%; P = 0.21), cadence (SMD = 0.29; 95% CI, 0.05–0.53; I 2 = 0%; P = 0.71), timed-up-and-go test (mean difference (MD) = -2.38; 95% CI, −3.93 to −0.84; I 2 = 32%; P = 0.22) and mini-balance evaluation systems test (MD = 2.04; 95% CI, 1.05–3.03; I 2 = 0%; P = 0.92). Conclusion: Evidence from meta-analyses suggests that dual-task training may improve motor and balance abilities in Parkinson's disease patients. Future research should focus on finding the most appropriate dual-task treatment model for patients with different degrees, in order to further improve the rehabilitation treatment of Parkinson's disease.
