Abstract

Air minum adalah air yang kualitasnya memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan dapat langsung di minum . Air bersih adalah air yang digunakan untuk keperluan sehari-hari dan dapat diminum apabila telah dimasak. Tubuh manusia sebagian terdiri dari air. Air digunakan oleh manusia untuk keperluan sehari-hari seperti minum, mandi, cuci, dan kakus. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kualitas fisik air sumur gali dan tingkat risiko di Kelurahan Naimata.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriftif dengan menggunakan metode observasional. variabel penelitian terdiri dari konstruksi fisik sumur gali di kelurahan naimata. jenis data yang digunakan yakni data primer dimana menggunakan data tentang kondisi fisik air sumur diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung atau pemeriksaan langsung terhadap konstruksi sumur gali dan data sekunder menggunakan data jumlah sumur dan data lainnya diperoleh dari laporan puskesmas dan profil kelurahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas fisik air sumur gali yang terdapat 42 sarana sumur gali yang telah diperiksa untuk kualitas fisik sarana air sumur gali menunjukan 42 sumur gali semuanya memenuhi syarat 100%. penilaian tingkat risiko pencemaran sumur gali yaitu sebanyak 42 buah sumur gali dengan tingakt risiko sebanyak 1 buah dengan presentase 2%, sedang sebanyak 26 buah dengan presentase 62%, rendah 15 buah dengan presentase 36% sedangkan untuk risiko amat tinggi tidak ada. Diagnosa risiko pencemaran sumur gali terdapat sumber pencemaran seperti kotoran hewan,sampah dan lain-lain. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas fisik air sumur gali memenuhi syarat karena tidak berbau,tidak berasa,tidak berwarna dan tidak keruh. Saran dari penelitian ini air minum yang dikonsumsi direbus terlebih dahulu hingga matang, melakukan perbaikan konstruksi sumur yang rusak atau tidak ada, menjaga kebersihan sumur gali.

Abstract

The article is devoted to research, the study of wooden architecture of Petropavlovsk (North Kazakhstan). The purpose of this study - to identify objects preserved wooden residential buildings; determine their importance in the preservation of the historic appearance of the city. The work is based on the historical and bibliographic information for the building of the city of Petropavlovsk, archival and field research. At the beginning of the eighteenth century the Russian state expanded its Siberian territory to the south, which was built on the borders of the military fortifications. Fortifications were actually fortresses and outposts, redoubts, connected in one line. One of them is the city of Petropavlovsk, which eventually grew into a major commercial and industrial center. The choice of location and configuration of the castle was influenced by landscape conditions and strategic requirements, starring waterway. Peter and Paul Fortress was at the crossroads of caravan routes from Russia to Western Siberia, in the central regions of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. In Petropavlovsk settled branches and representatives of foreign capital and commercial and industrial companies and banks, which led to the formation of a wealthy merchant class. Their commercial and residential buildings located in the central part of the city and considered the most beautiful in the city. Merchants and industrialists invested in building and improving cities. For the first time carried out a detailed study, the analysis of the formation and evolution of residential architecture of northern Kazakhstan, the period under review; analysis of climate, urban planning, landscaping and other external factors affecting the formation of the dwelling; identify regional particularities and common features residential architecture of the studied region; typological identification requirements for architectural-planning decisions homes, considering complex regional conditions of Northern Kazakhstan. Introduced unpublished archives, graphics (full-scale measurements, sketches). The buildings in the classical style prevailing in the wooden architecture of the last century and Petropavlovsk differing severity and simplicity, long considered the background buildings and destroyed. However, many of them are the oldest objects in the city. These objects are related to the mid-nineteenth century, have historical value and are the material embodiment of the structural and technical knowledge of our ancestors. Typological features of the surviving buildings carry information about the everyday life of the people of previous eras. In addition, historical and architectural sites are the most important evidence of the ideology and the spiritual culture of the people. Wooden Floor construction of Petropavlovsk so far been little studied. Because Kazakhstan borders and closely cooperating with Russia for many years, it is necessary to emphasize the influence of Russian wooden architecture on the architecture of the home of Northern Kazakhstan. Identified because of field studies at home are often highly distorted repairs. Illiterate operation and unprofessional repair not only distort the architectural and artistic look of the building, but also lead to a deterioration of the technical condition of historic buildings. 7. Solution of Three-Dimensional Convection-Diffusion Problems Using Tetrahedral Elements and Flow-Oriented Upwind Interpolation Functions

Abstract

A numerical method for three-dimensional elliptic convection-diffusion problems is presented. The formulation is based on four-node tetrahedral elements and flow-oriented interpolation functions that respond appropriatetly to an element Peclet number and the direction of the element-average velocity vector. A control-volume approach is used to derive the discretization equations. The method has been applied successfully to several test problems.

Abstract

Extant dog and wolf DNA indicates that dog domestication was accompanied by the selection of a series of duplications on the Amy2B gene coding for pancreatic amylase. In this study, we used a palaeogenetic approach to investigate the timing and expansion of the Amy2B gene in the ancient dog populations of Western and Eastern Europe and Southwest Asia. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to estimate the copy numbers of this gene for 13 ancient dog samples, dated to between 15 000 and 4000 years before present (cal. BP). This evidenced an increase of Amy2B copies in ancient dogs from as early as the 7th millennium cal. BP in Southeastern Europe. We found that the gene expansion was not fixed across all dogs within this early farming context, with ancient dogs bearing between 2 and 20 diploid copies of the gene. The results also suggested that selection for the increased Amy2B copy number started 7000 years cal. BP, at the latest. This expansion reflects a local adaptation that allowed dogs to thrive on a starch rich diet, especially within early farming societies, and suggests a biocultural coevolution of dog genes and human culture.

Il est conçu comme un outil de travail qui vise à répertorier et à traduire dans les différentes langues parlées au sein du Groupement, les principaux termes - d’ordre technique, typologique ou fonctionnel - utilisés dans l’étude des industries en matières dures animales. Cette version fait suite à celle publiée en 2010 et propose une liste élargie de termes traduits en 12 langues (français, anglais, allemand, danois, espagnol, italien, portugais, roumain, bulgare, polonais, russe et hongrois).

Abstract

[EN] The paper is devoted to the analysis of fishery as one of the most important parts of the economy in the late Mesolithic - early Neolithic periods in Central Russia. The used materials come from the excavation of the multilayer peat-bog site Zamostje 2 (Moscow region, Russia). Different kinds of evidence of fishing were analyzed: fish remains, bone tools (harpoon heads, barbed, fish hooks, knives from elk ribs), wooden artifacts (floats, paddles), finds of wooden constructions - fish traps and fish fence and, finally, coprolites. Due to this approach it is possible to distinguish differences in fishery strategies in the late Mesolithic and early Neolithic and ways of consuming fish., [RU] Данная работа посвящена анализу рыболовства как важ-нейшего вида экономической деятельности в период позд-него мезолита — раннего неолита центральной России. Исследование базируется на материалах изучения много-слойной торфяниковой стоянки Замостье 2 (Сергиево-Посадский р-н, Московская обл.). В работе используются разные виды источников: остатки рыб, орудия из кости (наконечники гарпунов и острий, рыболовные крючки, ножи из ребер лося и др.), изделия из дерева (поплавки, вес- ла), остатки рыболовных сооружений в виде верш и зако- ла, и наконец, копролиты. Abstract

International audience; La question de la reconnexion entre la Méditerranée et la mer Noire au début de l'Holocène est au coeur de nombreux projets de recherche. Installée une rhétorique bien huilée dérivant du mythe biblique du "déluge", la recherche a eu du mal à se départir de lieux communs fondés sur une approche déterministe des trajectoires humaines. Ainsi, les sociétés néolithiques riveraines de la Mer Noire - principalement de la zone nord pontique - soumises à un cataclysme soudain et divin se seraient trouvées devant une seule alternative : fuir ou périr ! Cette vision caricaturale voire simpliste du comportement des communautés humaines est aujourd'hui abandonnée. Il n'en reste pas moins qu'elle imprègne encore l'imaginaire collectif et journalistique. La communauté scientifique ellemême peine à se départir d'une vision déterministe de l'étude des relations qu'entretenaient les sociétés du passé avec leurs environnements. Soumises à des contraintes environnementales dont elles mesurent mal l'incidence sur leur avenir, les sociétés contemporaines développent parfois une relation irrationnelle avec leur passé en y projetant leurs angoisses fictionnelles. Abstract

International audience; The open-air site of Kalavan 1 is located in the Aregunyats mountain chain (at 1640 m above sea level) on the northern bank of Lake Sevan. It is the first Upper Palaeolithic site excavated in Armenia. Led by an Armenian-French team, several excavations (2005-2009) have revealed a well preserved palaeosoil, dated to around 14,000 BP (years before present), containing fauna, lithic artefacts, as well as several hearths and activity areas that structure the settlement. The initial studies enable placement of the site in its environment and justify palaeoethnological analysis of the Epigravettian human groups of the Lesser Caucasus

Abstract

International audience; In this article we document the evolution of the internal area of the Danube Delta (i.e. the blocked delta) starting from the geo-archaeological and geomorphological investigations performed at Mila 23 district, following the discovery of the oldest human settlement in the Delta. The in-site and out-site field work and coring allowed us to specify the delta's early stages of evolution from 5600 to 4000 CAL BC. During this period, the site evolves as a freshwater bay-head delta flowing into a huge lagoon isolated from the open sea by Letea-Caraorman spits. The rapid sedimentation rate in the lagoon is interpreted as a response to base-level rise and overflooding as a result of humid conditions during 6-5 ky RCC, leading to the partial submersion of the site and probably to its abandonment around 4450 CAL BC.

International audience; Le site de Taraschina se trouve entre Ceatalul Chilia à l'Ouest, la Mer Noire à l'Est, la branche du Danube de Chilia au Nord, les collines de Tulcea et le complexe lacustre Razim-Sinoe au Sud. Le caractère exceptionnel et unique du site de Taraschina tient avant tout à sa position très avancée dans l'actuel delta du Danube. Jusqu'alors, les témoignages les plus anciens découverts en contexte alluvial dans le delta étaient attribués à l'âge du Bronze. La mise en évidence, sur le site de Taraschina, de vestiges chalcolithiques sur une superficie d'environ 1 ha (fig. 2), témoigne de l'ampleur de l'établissement. La densité du mobilier céramique, ainsi que la présence d'industrie lithique, osseuse et de pièces de broyage, accentuent le caractère pérenne de l'établissement.

International audience; Les fouilles archéologiques conduites sur l'habitat Chalcolithique de Taraschina (Mila 23, dep. de Tulcea), permettent de jeter un nouveau regard sur la plus ancienne occupation préhistorique avérée dans le delta du Danube. L'habitat de Taraschina forme actuellement une paléo-topographie bombée qui émerge d'environ 1 m au-dessus de la surface marécageuse du delta du Danube. Les carottages réalisés sur le site archéologique montrent l'alternance de niveaux organiques, formés de déchets domestiques et de sols archéologiques avec des niveaux peu ou faiblement anthropisés. Ils montrent une forte homogénéité spatiale dans l'alternance de niveaux domestiques et de phase d'abandon. La séquence stratigraphique de cet habitat, puissante de 3 m, livre 4 niveaux d'occupation principaux qui s'échelonnent entre 4850 et 4350 BC. En surface, les vestiges archéologiques sont inégalement répartis. Si la partie centrale du gisement présente une faible densité de vestiges, ces derniers sont très fréquents à la périphérie du site. Dans ce secteur, la fouille d'une première zone, a permis de mettre en évidence, sous le niveau de terre de labour, d'un premier niveau archéologique. La présence de grandes fosses, profondes de plus de 1,1 m, montre que l'on se trouve en bordure de la zone habitée. L'analyse de ces dépotoirs permet de caractériser l'environnement durant le Chalcolithique (culture de Gumelniţa A1), entre 4500 et 4300 BC. Les analyses archéozoologiques indiquent que le milieu était alors ouvert comme le montre la présence de mammifères domestiques. L'assemblage faunique traduit un milieu naturel extrêmement riche et diversifié avec des espaces forestiers, des espaces ouverts et des milieux humides (lacs, bras morts...).

Since 2009, the Institute of Eco-Museal Research Tulcea together with partners from research laboratories from France and Romania has developed the project Société et environnement durant le Néolithique dans le Delta du Danube (Delta du Danube) [Society and environment in the Danube Delta during the Neolithic]. From 2010, this project has also obtained the support of the Foreign Affairs Ministry in France, who created the “Danube Delta” archaeological mission. This article presents the results of the first research campaign within the above-mentioned project in the Eneolithic site at Mila 23, Taraschina point (Tulcea County)., Depuis 2009, l'Institut de Recherche Eco-Muséographique de Tulcea développe un projet le recherche "Société et environnement dans le delta du Danube" en collaboration avec les laboratoires français et roumain. Depuis 2010, ce projet a obtenu le soutien du Ministère Français des Affaires Etrangères qui a créé la mission archéologique "delta du Danube". Cet article présente les premiers résultats obtenus lors de la première campagne de recherche sur le site Enéolithique de Taraschina à Mila 23 (département de Tulcea)

Abstract

Depuis 2009, l'éco-musée de l'Institut de recherche de Tulcea et l'UMR 5602 Géographie de l'Environnement - Toulouse (France) coordonnent le projet " Société et Environnement Durant Néolithique et les âges des métaux Dans le delta du Danube (Roumanie)". Étant donné le rôle important du Danube dans le développement des communautés préhistoriques du Nord de la Dobroudja, le projet vise à étudier les phénomènes culturels en relation avec l'évolution paléo-géographique du fleuve et de son delta. Dans une première phase, ce projet veut créer un inventaire des sites néolithique du nord de Dobroudja, situé près du Danube. Dans ce contexte, la présente étude a pour objet de présenter un ensemble d'habitats néolithiques situés sur un segment situé entre les localités de Meadow et de Văcăreni, dans le département de Tulcea, Începând cu anul 2009, Tulcea Institute for Eco-Museum Research and UMR 5602 GéoÎncepând cu anul 2009, Institutul de Cercetări Eco-Muzeale Tulcea şi UMR 5602 Géographie de l'Environement – Toulouse (Franţa) coordonează proiectul Société et environement durant le Néolithique et les âges des Métaux dans le delta du Danube (Roumanie). Teritoire des Hommes – Territoire de l'Eau. Luând în considerare rolul important al Dunării în dezvoltarea comunităţilor preistorice din zona de nord a Dobrogei, acest proiect îşi propune să studieze fenomenele culturale din spaţiul menţionat în raport cu evoluţia paleo-geografică a fluviului. Într-o primă fază, se doreşte realizarea unui repertoriu al siturilor din zona de nord a Dobrogei, aflate în apropierea Dunării, ce conturează spaţiul în care se vor dezvolta viitoarele cercetări. În acest context, prezentul studiu îşi propune să pună în discuţie o serie de interpretări făcute de-a lungul timpului în legătură cu unele situri eneolitice aflate pe un segment cuprins între localităţile Văcăreni şi Lunca din judeţul Tulcea.

Abstract

In temperate latitudes sheep have a seasonal reproductive behaviour, which imposes strong constraints on husbandry in terms of work organization and availability of animal products. During the last 50 years, researchers have focused on understanding the mechanisms driving small ruminants’ reproduction cycles and finding ways to control them. This characteristic is inherited from their wild ancestor. However, the history of its evolution over the 10 millennia that separates present day European sheep from their Near Eastern ancestors’ remains to be written. This perspective echoes archaeologists’ current attempts at reconstructing ancient pastoral societies’ socio-economical organization. Information related to birth seasonality may be retrieved directly from archaeological sheep teeth. The methodology consists of reconstructing the seasonal cycle record in sheep molars, through sequential analysis of the stable oxygen isotope composition (δ18O) of enamel. Because the timing of tooth development is fixed within a species, inter-individual variability in this parameter reflects birth seasonality. A review of the data obtained from 10 European archaeological sites dated from the 6th to the 3rd millennia BC is provided. The results demonstrate a restricted breeding season for sheep: births occurred over a period of 3 to 4 months, from late winter to early summer at latitudes 43°N to 48°N, while a later onset was observed at a higher latitude (59°N). All conclusions concurred with currently held expectations based on present day sheep physiology, which, aside from the historical significance, contributes to the reinforcing of the methodological basis of the approach. Abstract

International audience; In this work, we document the evolution of the upper Danube delta (i.e. blocked delta) using archaeological, geomorphological and geoarchaeological approaches, after the discovery, in the 90's, of the oldest human settlement (Eneolithic/Chalcolithic) close to Mila 23 district. In-site and out-site fieldwork allows us to refine the Danube delta early evolution from 5,600 to 4,000 cal. yr BC. During this period, it functions like a fresh bayhead delta, flowing into a huge lagoon isolated from the open sea by the Letea-Caraorman spit. Then, lagoon water level rose rapidly due to an eustatic rise, and possibly from an unusual highstand of sealevel resulting from wet conditions. The settlement was then partially flooded and abandoned around 4,450 cal. yr BC.; Dans ce travail, l'évolution de la zone interne du delta du Danube est appréhendée à partir de travaux géoarchéologiques et géomorphologiques réalisés dans le district de Mila 23, suite à la découverte de la plus vieille occupation humaine (énéolithique/ chalcolithique) du delta dans les années 90. Les travaux sur site et hors site ont permis de préciser les stades précoces de l'évolution du delta entre 5 600 et 4 000 ans cal. av. J.-C. Celui-ci évolue comme un delta lagunaire en eau douce, s'épandant dans un large lagon séparé de la mer par la ride de Letea-Caraorman. La remontée rapide du niveau lagunaire, sous l'effet de la remontée eustatique et peut-être d'une sur cote liée à un événement humide, ont conduit à une submersion partielle du site et probablement à son abandon vers 4 450 ans cal. av. J.-C.

Abstract

Previously observed specialization in sheep/goat kill-off patterns from Romanian Eneolithic sites raises the question of a limited duration of the slaughtering period. In order to provide reliable month of death distribution for sheep/goats, the approach developed here takes into account uncertainties regarding the age-at-death and the month of birth, based on classic archaeozoological techniques. We show that sheep slaughtering rarely occurred from late spring to early autumn or from summer to mid-fall, both at Hârşova tell and Borduşani-Popină. Conversely, it is very likely that fishing activities took place primarily from spring to early autumn. This points to the existence of seasonal and complementary food supply strategies at both sites. Several possible explanations for these seasonal strategies are discussed. We also highlight the homogeneity in the management of domestic herds between the two sites, raising the question of a certain standardization in pastoral practices on a larger scale.

International audience; Borduşani-Popină is a Gumelniţa tell site in south-eastern Romania. The cattle mortality profile suggests ahusbandry oriented towards prime meat exploitation and dairy production highlighted by the keeping ofcattle to advanced age. Besides, the culling strategy also targeted young calves. A stable isotope ratio studywas undertaken on dental rows. Bone and dentine collagen δ15N values show that the calves within theslaughtering peak were well-advanced in the weaning process, suggesting that the slaughter was delayeduntil the end of the cows’ lactation. A consequence would be the sharing of milk production betweenherders and calves. High inter- and intra-individual variability in bone collagen and enamel bioapatite δ13Cvalues indicated variations in the seasonal ratio of C4 and C3 plants in fodder and between age groups.Overall, the complementary study of mortality profiles and stable isotopes provide evidence of sophisticatedhusbandry during the fifth millennium cal. Abstract

International audience; This article is concerned with the Eneolithic period in southeastern Europe, whichcorresponds to a phase of increasing social complexity. We demonstrate that the developmentof a new type of settlement, the tell site, which in southeastern Romania fully began with theGumelniţa culture, was accompanied by changes in the meat component of the diet. The 39available faunal spectra are processed by correspondence analyses; this shows that thehomogeneity that characterized the previous cultures (Hamangia and Boian) was followed bya greater diversity in animal exploitation systems in the Gumelniţa culture. The main changeis the important role that large game played for some Gumelniţa communities (the favoredspecies varied). However, variability existed within the domestic species as well. This mayresult from the interaction between several possible factors (e.g. new husbandry techniques,complex socio-economic relations between the sites, a great social value given to wildmammals). This diversity contrasts with the homogeneity of the pastoral practices developedfor sheep (and, to a lesser extent, for cattle) at the Gumelniţa tell sites (reliable kill-offpatterns were established for five sites). We also show that sheep exploitation was specialized.Given that this kind of specialized exploitation became the norm from the Gumelniţa period,we propose that the appearance of homogeneous and specialized practices for sheep is linkedto the development of tell sites. More generally, certain standardization in pastoral practicesduring the Gumelniţa period is possible. For three tell sites, it is likely that the youngest sheepand goats died mainly elsewhere; we suggest that these settlements were parts of largerpastoral systems, on a local or regional scale, and that places or sites with complementaryfunctions existed.

Abstract

Current evidence suggests that pigs were first domesticated in Eastern Anatolia during the ninth millennium cal BC before dispersing into Europe with Early Neolithic farmers from the beginning of the seventh millennium. Recent ancient DNA (aDNA) research also indicates the incorporation of European wild boar into domestic stock during the Neolithization process. In order to establish the timing of the arrival of domestic pigs into Europe, and to test hypotheses regarding the role European wild boar played in the domestication process, we combined a geometric morphometric analysis (allowing us to combine tooth size and shape) of 449 Romanian ancient teeth with aDNA analysis. Our results firstly substantiate claims that the first domestic pigs in Romania possessed the same mtDNA signatures found in Neolithic pigs in west and central Anatolia. Second, we identified a significant proportion of individuals with large molars whose tooth shape matched that of archaeological (likely) domestic pigs. These large ‘domestic shape’ specimens were present from the outset of the Romanian Neolithic (6100–5500 cal BC) through to later prehistory, suggesting a long history of admixture between introduced domestic pigs and local wild boar. Finally, we confirmed a turnover in mitochondrial lineages found in domestic pigs, possibly coincident with human migration into Anatolia and the Levant that occurred in later prehistory.
