7. Pilot VLBI Survey of SiO v=3 J=1--0 Maser Emission around Evolved Stars

Abstract

In this Letter, we report detections of SiO v=3 J=1--0 maser emission in very long baseline interferometric (VLBI) observations towards 4 out of 12 long-period variable stars: WX Psc, R Leo, W Hya, and T Cep. The detections towards WX Psc and T Cep are new ones. We also present successful astrometric observations of SiO v=2 and v=3 J=1--0 maser emissions associated with two stars: WX Psc and W Hya and their position-reference continuum sources: J010746.0+131205 and J135146.8-291218 with the VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry (VERA). The relative coordinates of the position-reference continuum source and SiO v=3 maser spots were measured with respect to those of an SiO v=2 maser spot adopted as fringe-phase reference. Thus the faint continuum sources were inversely phase-referenced to the bright maser sources. Abstract

The synthesis of indoles with a trifluoromethyl group has attracted a lot of attention because they are promising structural subunits for pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. As part of our project aimed toward the upcycling of hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs), we developed a method to construct a CF3‐bearing indole ring system through the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling of a brominated HFO‐1234ze(E) (CF3CH=CHF) with N‐tosylated o‐borylanilines, followed by nucleophilic 5‐endo‐trig cyclization at the vinylic position of the generated fluorostyrenes. We found that the Pd2(dba)3/SPhos catalyst system in the presence of K2CO3 and water in toluene afforded the corresponding 3‐CF3‐indoles in high yields in a one‐pot operation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

text, 紀要論文 / Departmental Bulletin Paper, 本研究では，小学校体育授業において熟練教師と初任教師の間で，授業を観察する際の思考の特徴を比較しその違いを明らかにすることを目的とした．同一の小学校体育授業のビデオ記録を視聴した対象者の発話プロトコルをデータとして収集し，発話内容から各命題数と割合の比較，特徴的な発話内容の比較を行った．その結果，熟練教師は観察を通して自分自身の授業実践や教育観について振り返っていることが明らかになった．また，初任教師は学習内容と直接的に関係ない時間をどれだけ省けるかなどといった，形式的な視点から観察を行っている特徴があることが考えられた．

Abstract

We present a systematic review of the methods developed for the synthesis of the aromathecin family of compounds (benz[6,7]indolizino[1,2-b]quinolin-11(13H)-ones) and their derivatives. These methods can be broadly classified into four categories based on the construction of pentacyclic structures: Category 1: by constructing a pyridone moiety (D-ring) on the pyrroloquinoline ring (A/B/C-ring), Category 2: by constructing a pyridine moiety (B-ring) on the pyrroloisoquinolone ring (C/D/E-ring), Category 3: by constructing an indolizidinone moiety (C/D-ring) in a tandem reaction, and Category 4: by constructing a pyrrolidine moiety (C-ring) on the isoquinolone ring (D/E-ring). 14. Material Cost Minimization Problem for Aluminum Alloy Beam using Beam String Structure

Abstract

Aluminum alloy is a light-weight material with excellent corrosion resistance but low rigidity. When the aluminum alloy is used to a girder bridge, it takes high costs owing to the increment of its stiffness. Therefore in order to reduce a material cost, the cost minimization problem was performed on beam string structure (BSS) made of the aluminum alloy material based on the results of the topology optimization. We focused on the layout of the BSS and diameter of the cable. The conducted simulation made clear the effectivity of the BSS to the aluminum alloy material for a reduction of material cost and increment of the beam span.

Abstract

SUMMARY The spin-dependent scattering of conduction electron in metallic magnetic multilayers was investigated to reveal the optical properties which corresponded to the magnetization state. From the measurement of magnetorefractive effect in antiferro-magnetically exchange coupled Co/Ru multilayers, it was found that (1) the transmittance varied around 1% at wavelength of 1550 nm during the parallel/antiparallel spin alignment changes, (2) as a result of number of repetition and Co thickness for the multilayers, transmittance difference between the parallel and antiparallel spin alignment states had trade-off relationship with the magnitude of transmittance, and (3) asymmetric Co/Ru/Co stacking structure brought different interlayer exchange coupling fields in each layer, which resulted in magnetic field sensitive transmittance.
