Background: Research demonstrates the importance of documenting adaptations to implementation strategies that support integration of evidence-based interventions into practice. While studies have utilized the FRAME-IS [Framework for Reporting Adaptations and Modifications for Implementation Strategies] to collect structured adaptation data, they are limited by a focus on discrete implementation strategies (e.g., training), which do not reflect the complexity of multifaceted strategies like practice facilitation. In this paper, we apply the FRAME-IS to our trial evaluating the effectiveness of PF on implementation fidelity of an evidence-based technology-facilitated team care model for improved hypertension control within a federally qualified health center (FQHC). Methods: Three data sources are used to document adaptations: (1) implementation committee meeting minutes, (2) narrative reports completed by practice facilitators, and (3) structured notes captured on root cause analysis and Plan-Do-Study-Act worksheets. Text was extracted from the data sources according to the FRAME-IS modules and inputted into a master matrix for content analysis by two authors; a third author conducted member checking and code validation. Results: We modified the FRAME-IS to include part 2 of module 2 (what is modified) to add greater detail of the modified strategy, and a numbering system to track adaptations across the modules. This resulted in identification of 27 adaptations, of which 88.9% focused on supporting practices in identifying eligible patients and referring them to the intervention. About half (52.9%) of the adaptations were made to modify the context of the PF strategy to include a group-based format, add community health workers to the strategy, and to shift the implementation target to nurses. The adaptations were often widespread (83.9%), affecting all practices within the FQHC. While most adaptations were reactive (84.6%), they resulted from a systematic process of reviewing data captured by multiple sources. All adaptations included the FQHC in the decision-making process. Conclusion: With modifications, we demonstrate the ability to document our adaptation data across the FRAME-IS modules, attesting to its applicability and value for a range of implementation strategies. Based on our experiences, we recommend refinement of tracking systems to support more nimble and practical documentation of iterative, ongoing, and multifaceted adaptations. Bibliometric studies offer numerous ways of analyzing scientific work. For example, co-citation and bibliographic coupling networks have been widely used since the 1960s to describe the segmentation of research and to look the development of the scientific frontier. In addition, co-authorship and collaboration networks have been employed for more than 30 years to explore the social dimension of scientific work. This paper introduces publication authorship as a complement to these established approaches. Three data sets of academic articles from accounting, astronomy, and gastroenterology are used to illustrate the benefits of publication authorship for bibliometric studies. In comparison to bibliographic coupling, publication authorship produces significantly better intra-cluster cosine similarities across all data sets, which in the end yields a more fine-grained picture of the research field in question. Beyond this finding, publication authorship lends itself to other types of documents such as corporate reports or meeting minutes to study organizations, movements, or any other concerted activity. It has often been suggested that poor Australians were a forgotten cohort during the long period of post‐World War Two prosperity. Yet the peak non‐government welfare body, the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), aimed from its establishment in 1956 to publicise concerns about poverty, and stimulate policy responses to relieve the disadvantage of those living in poverty. Using a range of primary sources including ACOSS annual reports, policy statements, committee meeting minutes and newsletters, this paper examines the key manifestations of ACOSS advocacy for low‐income Australians including research reports, budget submissions and public forums. It is argued that ACOSS gradually shifted from a welfarist approach based on lifting the incomes of specific vulnerable groups in isolation to a social justice approach that linked poverty to wider societal inequities. This article examines the impact of compulsory voting on grassroots electioneering in Australia between 1910 and 1951. It argues that the introduction of compulsory voting resulted in a shift from mobilization-focused campaigns to more persuasive campaigns. Grassroots campaigners in the 1930s and 1940s adopted new methods, such as amplifier campaigning and candidate-focused leaflets, to reach a larger and less engaged electorate. The article emphasizes the significance of these changes in campaign practices and highlights the continued use of candidate-focused literature and personal canvassing in modern times. Central to this article are the minutes of nine codification meetings held in 1865 at various locations in West Sumatra. During these meetings the draft regulations for a new colonial legal system were discussed and negotiated by West Sumatran elites and Dutch officials. This episode and its unique archives serve as a microhistory of lawmaking, legal translation, and erasure. The article argues that the process of making colonialism procedural, as well as the genealogical workings of colonial knowledge production, are crucial to understanding the making and unmaking of law in the context of legal pluralities. It shows that finding similarities in interests and worldview, moments of 'erasure through translation', the symbolic language of fluidity of adat and legal hybridity, as well as the archival power of the material and the spatial elements of both the meetings and the minutes, were vehicles through which codification in West Sumatra was attempted and contested. We present a historical case study of "data-driven" general education policy reform at the City University of New York, where within-system transfer issues prompted the need for curricular reform that was debated and eventually implemented from 2011 to 2017. Through an empirical examination of artifacts such as meeting minutes, internal memoranda, institutional reports, speeches, testimonies and position statements, and recordings of public meetings, we trace the emergence of a policy problem, contests over its framing, and the development of a policy solution for a curricular crisis across competing strands of collaborative governance and conflict over curriculum-making. We illustrate how administrators and their allies engage informatic power to unify the means and ends of curriculum reform- producing curricular policy and new language practices for discussing curriculum that facilitate increased managerialism and the rise of audit culture. When curricular conversation primarily focuses on the use of data, normative questions about the purpose and organization of undergraduate curricula are elided. In this case, policy proponents and opponents focused on a narrow definition of what kind of data "counts" for policy making. Background: Shared decision-making (SDM) is highly relevant in oncology but rarely implemented in routine care. In a stepped-wedge cluster randomized implementation trial, the outcome evaluation of a theoretically and empirically based multi-component SDM implementation program did not show a statistically significant effect on patient-reported SDM uptake. Within this SDM implementation trial, a thorough a priori planned process evaluation was conducted. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate factors influencing SDM implementation in the context of a multi-component SDM implementation program. Methods: We conducted qualitative process evaluation of a stepped-wedge SDM implementation trial. Qualitative data included interviews with nurses and physicians of participating departments, field notes by the study team, and meeting minutes. Data were analyzed via deductive and inductive qualitative content analysis on basis of the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). Results: Transcripts of 107 interviews with 126 nurses and physicians, 304 pages of field note documentation, and 125 pages of meeting minutes were analyzed. Major factors influencing SDM implementation were found for all domains of the CFIR: a) four regarding characteristics of the individuals involved (e.g., perceived personal relevance, individual motivation to change), b) eleven regarding the inner setting (e.g., leadership engagement, networks and communication, available resources, compatibility with clinical practice), c) two regarding the outer setting (e.g., culture of health care delivery), d) eight regarding characteristics of the intervention (e.g., relative advantage, adaptability), and e) three regarding the implementation process (e.g., integration into existing structures). Furthermore, we found strong interrelations between several of the influencing factors within and between domains. Conclusions: This comprehensive process evaluation complements the outcome evaluation of the SDM implementation trial and adds to its interpretation. The identified influencing factors can be used for planning, conducting, and evaluating SDM implementation in the future. Focusing on the construction of London's West India Docks in 1802, I argue that this project established a feedback loop with conditions of production in the Caribbean. Through an analysis of committee minutes, letters, parliamentary papers and visual art, I move beyond economic accounts of slavery's impact to demonstrate how geographies of security and surveillance—first developed on the sugar plantation—were imported into the design and function of London's port. As such, I argue that London's docks produced a geography of segregation which offers a unique insight into the workings of racial capitalism and its exploitation of group‐differentiated vulnerabilities. Positioning my discussion alongside London's contemporary landscape, I excavate Britain's repressed memories of slavery to illustrate how they still scar the urban environment. Background: Community-academic partnerships (CAPs) can improve the relevance, sustainability, and uptake of new innovations within the community. However, little is known about what topics CAPs focus on and how their discussions and decisions impact implementation at ground level. The objectives of this study were to better understand the activities and learnings from implementation of a complex health intervention by a CAP at the planner/decision-maker level, and how that compared to experiences implementing the program at local sites. Methods: The intervention, Health TAPESTRY, was implemented by a nine-partner CAP including academic, charitable organizations, and primary care practices. Meeting minutes were analyzed using qualitative description, latent content analysis, and a member check with key implementors. An open-answer survey about the best and worst elements of the program was completed by clients and health care providers and analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: In total, 128 meeting minutes were analyzed, 278 providers and clients completed the survey, and six people participated in the member check. Prominent topics of discussion categories from the meeting minutes were: primary care sites, volunteer coordination, volunteer experience, internal and external connections, and sustainability and scalability. Clients liked that they learned new things and gained awareness of community programs, but did not like the volunteer visit length. Clinicians liked the regular interprofessional team meetings but found the program time-consuming. Conclusions: An important learning was about who had "voice" at the planner/decision-maker level: many of the topics discussed in meeting minutes were not identified as issues or lasting impacts by clients or providers; this may be due to differing roles and needs, but may also identify a gap. Overall, we identified three phases that could serve as a guide for other CAPs: Phase (1) recruitment, financial support, and data ownership; Phase (2) considerations for modifications and adaptations; Phase (3) active input and reflection. Background: Index-linked HIV testing for children, whereby HIV testing is offered to children of individuals living with HIV, has the potential to identify children living with undiagnosed HIV. The "Bridging the Gap in HIV Testing and Care for Children in Zimbabwe" (B-GAP) study implemented and evaluated the provision of index-linked HIV testing for children aged 2–18 years in Zimbabwe. We conducted a process evaluation to understand the considerations for programmatic delivery and scale-up of this strategy. Methods: We used implementation documentation to explore experiences of the field teams and project manager who delivered the index-linked testing program, and to describe barriers and facilitators to index-linked testing from their perspectives. Qualitative data were drawn from weekly logs maintained by the field teams, monthly project meeting minutes, the project coordinator's incident reports and WhatsApp group chats between the study team and the coordinator. Data from each of the sources was analysed thematically and synthesised to inform the scale-up of this intervention. Results: Five main themes were identified related to the implementation of the intervention: (1) there was reduced clinic attendance of potentially eligible indexes due to community-based differentiated HIV care delivery and collection of HIV treatment by proxy individuals; (2) some indexes reported that they did not live in the same household as their children, reflecting the high levels of community mobility; (3) there were also thought to be some instances of 'soft refusal'; (4) further, delivery of HIV testing was limited by difficulties faced by indexes in attending health facilities with their children for clinic-based testing, stigma around community-based testing, and the lack of familiarity of indexes with caregiver provided oral HIV testing; (5) and finally, test kit stockouts and inadequate staffing also constrained delivery of index-linked HIV testing. Conclusions: There was attrition along the index-linked HIV testing cascade of children. While challenges remain at all levels of implementation, programmatic adaptations of index-linked HIV testing approaches to suit patterns of clinic attendance and household structures may strengthen implementation of this strategy. Although councils are built on the pillars of representative democracy and legally have the function of bringing civil society and governmental spheres closer to decision-making, the practical transposition of these assumptions needs verification. This article aimed to analyze participation carried out in the Municipal Council for the Defense of the Environment (COMDEMA) of Ribeirão Preto, SP, concerning the proposal theorized for councils and the determinations provided by law. To this end, a documental analysis of the minutes of ordinary meetings of COMDEMA (2016-2020) was carried out, considering the perspectives of the composition of the board, the participation of members, and the nature of the agendas. Concerning the composition of the board, with the exception of two vacancies, all the chairs of entities provided for in the Internal Regulations were filled; in terms of attendance, 12.8% of meetings were canceled due to lack of quorum. The interventions of the councilors in meetings are carried out more frequently by specific representatives, which can be attributed to the formation of parallel Technical Chambers for previous discussion of matters that will be taken to ordinary meetings. Thus, by the performed analyzes, it can be observed that COMDEMA operates in line with the provisions set forth in law and presents the involvement of its members. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The general objective of this research was to re- flect on the uses of the notion of "dialogue", as a native and analytical category, in the context of meetings in which alternatives were sought to reconcile the territorial right of the communities represented by the Association of Quilombo Remnants Communities of Alto Trombetas II (ACRQAT) and the diffuse right to the environment, in this case specifically applied to two federal Conservation Units managed by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio). While ACRQAT was claiming title to the quilombola territory of Alto Trombetas II, ICMBio was defending the management of the Saracá-Taquera National Forest and the Trombetas River Biological Reserve, in an administrative process permeated by the conflict arising from the territorial overlap between the quilombola territory and the conservation units. We seek to understand what the dialogue consists of and in which situations it is activated. We also investigated if the characteristics of the negotiation process about the land regularization of the territory are, effectively, dialogic. The work is based on observations made through ethnographic fieldwork between 2015 and 2018, plus a literature review of the productions of classical and contemporary authors on the proposed theme, considering the polysemy of the term "dialogue", as well as the analysis of documents issued during the process in question, such as memories, reports, ordinances, technical notes, minutes of meetings and others. In recent years, several Japanese companies have attempted to improve the efficiency of their meetings, which has been a significant challenge. For instance, voice recognition technology is used to considerably improve meeting minutes creation. In an automatic minutes-creating system, identifying the speaker to add speaker information to the text would substantially improve the overall efficiency of the process. Therefore, a few companies and research groups have proposed speaker estimation methods; however, it includes challenges, such as requiring advance preparation, special equipment, and multiple microphones. These problems can be solved by using speech sections that are extracted from lip movements and voice information. When a person speaks, voice and lip movements occur simultaneously. Therefore, the speaker's speech section can be extracted from videos by using lip movement and voice information. However, when this speech section contains only voice information, the voiceprint information of each meeting participant is required for speaker identification. When using lip movements, the speech section and speaker position can be extracted without the voiceprint information. Therefore, in this study, we propose a speech-section extraction method that uses image and voice information in Japanese for speaker identification. The proposed method consists of three processes: i) the extraction of speech frames using lip movements, ii) the extraction of speech frames using voices, and iii) the classification of speech sections using these extraction results. We used video data to evaluate the functionality of the method. Further, the proposed method was compared with state-of-the-art techniques. The average F-measure of the proposed method is determined to be higher than that of the conventional methods that are based on state-of-the-art techniques. The evaluation results showed that the proposed method achieves state-of-the-art performance using a simpler process compared to the conventional method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In addition to administrative documents, narrative sources provide a wealth of information on the functioning of the town government. For almost 30 years, around the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, three Brașov biographers and diarists, Michael Weiss, Marcus Schunckabunck and Andreas Hegyes, recorded the complete annual lists of the town council. Set in the context of events in the town, these sources provide particularly valuable information on the organisation and functioning of the administration, the activities, conflicts, and grievances associated with the office of councillor, and not only list the names of the councilmen but also describe their duties in the various areas of the administration. In the absence of the minutes of the council meetings, these sources also make it possible to draw up an archontology of the town council of Brașov. In the appendix to this paper, a list of the councillors from 1590 to 1617 is presented, which can serve as a model for the development of a subsequent urban archontology covering the entire early modern period, including other administrative sources. Institutional reforms to districted city councils from at-large systems are typically motivated by the desire to increase geographic and descriptive representation, enriching representation for historically excluded groups. The policy impact of descriptive representation, however, has been found to be conditional and not definitive. In this article, I explore whether institutional reform from at-large to districts has effects on a city council's policy agenda, or whether institutional constraints can quell the reform's impacts. I look to the "10-1" reform in Austin, Texas, implemented in 2015, using an original dataset collected from items in the council's 2009–2019 meeting minutes for a direct measure of the agenda. After coding each item for policy substance and testing the agenda's diversity, I find that the reform had short-term effects on the policy agenda. Instead, local government's agenda is largely driven by external problems and pragmatic needs facing the city. Consequently, the effects of reform are overwhelmed by institutional stickiness. Background: Despite its therapeutic role during cancer treatment, exercise is not routinely integrated into care and implementation efforts are largely absent from the literature. The aim of this study was to evaluate a strategy to integrate the workflow of a co-located exercise clinic into routine care within a private oncology setting in two clinics in the metropolitan region of Western Australia.Methods: This prospective evaluation utilised a mixed methods approach to summarise lessons learned during the implementation of an integrated exercise workflow and supporting implementation plan. Data collection was informed by the RE-AIM (Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, Maintenance) framework. Reports detailing utilisation of the exercise service and its referral pathways, as well as patient surveys and meeting minutes documenting the implementation process informed the evaluation.Results: The co-located exercise service achieved integration into routine care within the clinical oncology setting. Patient utilisation was near capacity (reach) and 100% of clinicians referred to the service during the 13-month evaluation period (adoption). Moreover, ongoing adaptations were made to improve the program (implementation) and workflows were integrated into standard operating practices at the clinic (maintenance). The workflow performed as intended for ~70% of exercise participants (effectiveness); however, gaps were identified in utilisation of the workflow by both patients and clinicians.Conclusion: Integration of exercise into standard oncology care is possible, but it requires the ongoing commitment of multiple stakeholders across an organisation. The integrated workflow and supporting implementation plan greatly improved utilisation of the co-located exercise service, demonstrating the importance of targeted implementation planning. However, challenges regarding workflow fidelity within and across sites limited its success highlighting the complexities inherent in integrating exercise into clinical oncology care in a real-world setting. The growing presence of the conservative discourse in the current days and the relation with the religious discourse is the basis of argumentation of the extension program Observatory of Secularism on Education- OSE, linked to Federal Fluminense University. Thus, one of the main objectives of OSE is to demonstrate the strong presence of religion in Brazilian society, which specifically affects the principle of the laicity of the State and directly affects public education. With this purpose, since 2019, an annual Forum is organized by the Observatory. A space for exchange of experiences on the possibilities of building a democratic and secular education. Faced with the emergence of the Covid-19 Pandemic, this space needed to be reconfigured and adapted to specificities that the conjuncture demanded. And this article is about the resizing of this space, about the changes implemented, and about the learning from the elaboration and organization of this new teaching-learning experience. Therefore, the objective is to share the experience of the OSE Forum and the innovations developed during its structuring. To this end, reports, meeting minutes, and other materials related to the Forum's organization were analyzed. This methodology allowed for a more attentive and differentiated look at the Forum's records and pointed to the relevance of spaces in the University that dialogue with the basic school experience and to the growing demand for more debates and reflections about a secular education. A significant benefit of research collaboration between academia and industry is that it encourages industry to make use of research outcomes produced through the synergy effect between academic and industry participants. Despite these potential benefits, only a limited number of studies have looked at actual cases of such collaboration in the construction management area. To help improve academia–industry collaborative research, the current study validated the success factors collected from extant literature against actual cases. The study conducted in-depth studies of 11 research teams, a mix of well-functioning and subpar-functioning teams. The 11 research teams, whose work was completed between 1988 and 2011, were selected from the research efforts sponsored by the Construction Industry Institute (CII), an organized research unit of the University of Texas at Austin. The case studies of the 11 research teams included semistructured interviews with 39 participants and an analysis of research team documents (e.g., team meeting minutes). The study then identified and analyzed recommended practices linked with the success factors of the collaborative research between academics and industry practitioners. As a result, this study provides a guide to successful academia–industry collaborative research that can enhance the academic body of knowledge as well as industry dissemination and implementation. Against the backdrop of the Soviet Union's 1970s reengagement with Africa through the Indian Ocean, this article investigates the overlapping extensions of aid and technical assistance to the island nation of Mauritius, focusing primarily on the unprecedented 1972 infrastructural development offer by the People's Republic of China. By analysing the minutes of the Sino-Mauritian Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation's negotiations as found in the United Kingdom's Foreign and Colonial Office dossiers, this paper examines Chinese aid diplomacy to Africa in a period which saw its admission to the United Nations, its realignment against the USSR, and the concomitant latticed transformations of its aid diplomacy. Meeting minutes (and similar records) provide a cherished window into the internal workings of important bodies, but scholars usually have little option but to trust their veridicality. However, the production of a record of talk as it happens is a difficult task, especially when talk is animated and turn-taking unregimented. I compare recordings of four National Security Council meetings secretly made by Presidents Kennedy and Nixon with minutes and notes taken by NSC principals and staff members. While minute-taking practices differed in level of detail, all minute-takers engaged in processes of preservation, deletion, and transformation as they sought to distill and disambiguate. Moreover, the need to omit some talk made it possible to suppress certain kinds of content, such as evidence of internal disagreement. The loose relationship between talk and its written incarnation is consequential for lay actors, such as subordinates who rely on minutes for insight into their superiors' wishes and mindsets; for scholars tempted to read minutes as an accurate account of what transpired; and, potentially, for other sorts of investigators looking to apportion responsibility for misbehavior and bad outcomes. This article aims to provide an overview, under the axiological-normative approach, of the theme of administrative morality, aiming to characterize and analyze the performance of the Ethical Management System of the Federal Executive Branch (SGEPEF), established by Decree 6029 of 2007, correlating it to the protection of the public res.Methodologically, bibliographic research was used on the theme State, democracy and res publica, from the formation of the modern State to the emergence of the Brazilian Democratic State of Law. In addition, a qualitative analysis of the meeting minutes of the 2000s was carried out to 2021 of the Public Ethics Commission - central body of SGEPEF, observing the main topics submitted for analysis by the collegiate. The results obtained led to the conclusion of the importance of the role of the SGEPEF in the protection of the res publica, lending effectiveness to the normative framework related to administrative morality. Sudan, the United Nations and the Congo Crisis, 1960-1961: A Mission Impossible in Uncharted Territory. UN deployment maps make it clear that troops from many contingents around the world were spread out in small groups all across the vast country[25] - the DR Congo is equal in size to the entirety of Western Europe. Instead of becoming a threat to international peace and security, as was the case in the 1990s and afterwards, Sudan responded to a United Nations call for assistance the day the message arrived on 11 August 1960, pledging nearly four hundred troops. The unit was clearly made up of troops from different regional commands across Sudan, but Sudanese sources disagree on exactly which commands.[19] It does seem clear that many of the troops sent had been on active service in the south: only 39 personnel were initially airlifted from Khartoum by the U.S. Air Force, which was moving many of the UN troops to the Congo; the remainder came from Juba.[20] By 17 August, six days after the first exchange of correspondence, movement of the troops were underway. The minutes of the 71st annual meeting on June 24, 2022 in Weihenstephan-Triesdorf have been published. The chairman, Prof. Dr. W. Härdtle, welcomed the attending members and opened the meeting. The agenda and minutes of the previous meeting were approved. Reports from the board were presented, including a financial report and information on publications. The board was discharged and changes to the statutes were made. Candidates for the board were introduced and a new election was conducted. One of the issues of major concern in tourist guide training was identified in 2002 to be the problem of "fragmentation"; although a great number of research studies were conducted to offer solutions to this matter, none was found to present the historical development and the stakeholders of the problem. This study intends to explain the stages of the emergence as well as the development of the extended problem of fragmentation. To that end, related information in the literature and various other documents were collected, and the development of the problem, which has been a subject of study since it began to be discussed by scholarship, was presented. The presentation of historical development required sets of information in various meeting minutes and legal regulations besides those found in the literature. As the need to use different sources did not allow conducting a systematic examination, a 'narrative literature review' was employed. According to the results of the study, heavy fragmentation in tourist guide training was caused by the process of a vocational training field becoming an academic department and, lack of coordination as well as a power struggle among different stakeholders during this period. Having been concluded so, it is proposed that to settle the fragmentation problem and, to shape tour guide training in line with current capabilities and needs, different expectations and struggle environment between stakeholders should be eliminated first, then, at which levels the education will be continued and the purpose of each level and the entry requirements should be determined clearly. Purpose: This study sought to understand PK–12 district-level equity directors' efforts to improve experiences of students of color and outcomes in US districts. Research Methods: We interviewed 13 practicing equity directors and analyzed artifacts such as meeting minutes, equity policies, equity mission statements, job descriptions, and organizational charts. Findings: Directors experienced structural and psychological vulnerabilities depending on how their districts structured the role with positional power, resources, and authority to carry out their leadership work. Equity directors' roles were often ambiguous and at times misaligned to the expected leadership tasks. Institutionalized racial and gender oppression compounded the vulnerabilities of the role. Implications: To realize the full potential of this new district leadership position, districts must attend not only to what they expect equity directors to accomplish but also to the configurations of the role as it intersects with labor-related racial and gender oppression in districts. Numerous companies in Japan currently desire to increase the efficiency of meetings, which is an important objective that should be addressed with computational methods. To this end, increasing the efficiency of minute‐taking tasks using voice‐recognition technology has been considered. The development of an automated system able to identify individual speakers by voice so as to add information encoding which speaker uttered which text would substantially improve the overall efficiency of the process. Several speaker‐identification methods have been proposed in prior works on the automatic generation of meeting minutes. However, such methods require the preparation of multiple microphones to register audio signals. In contrast, speakers can be identified with a smaller preparation cost by utilizing an omnidirectional camera; however, hundreds of hours of training data are required. In this study, we propose a speaker‐identification method that uses only tens of minutes of moving images as training data. Evaluation results demonstrate that the proposed method is able to identify speakers with maximum and average success rates of 93.0% and 87.2%, respectively. © 2022 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Surat Raja-Raja (SRR) and Surat Undang-Undang (SUU) have indeed given a new dimension to the written historic record of Kedah, especially from year to year. Both manuscripts contain clearly compiled correspondence, reports, minutes, and agreements. In fact, the SRR and SUU also show the seriousness and efforts made by the Kedah state government, which can be clearly seen through political, economic, and social aspects. At the same time, the SRR and SUU also demonstrate the Kedah state government's seriousness in maintaining the identity and the challenges faced in protecting the state from the British and Siamese. Therefore, this research aims to see how far the SRR and SUU serve as the main historical sources for Kedah from year to year. The research findings show that the SRR and SUU are indeed reputable historical sources in explaining historical events, covering political, economic and social aspects in Kedah during the period mentioned. The SRR and SUU also complement Kedah's early sources such as the Sultan Abdul Hamid Correspondence (SMSAH), the Kedah State Secretary's (SUK) files or files from the State Legislative Council (Council Decisions), official reports from the British (Colonial Office), minutes of meetings (State Council Minute Book), and State Council Circulars.
