Introduction: As the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) gains popularity among Chinese young people, it has undergone a gradual transition from being perceived as a personality assessment tool to being regarded as a social label. The objective of this study was to ascertain whether the use of the MBTI as a social label has an impact on social anxiety among Chinese youth groups. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on social media platforms to recruit Chinese youth aged 18 to 35. A total of 247 males and 222 females participated in the study, and the data was analyzed quantitatively using SPSS software and the Process macro plugin. Results: The study found no strong correlation between MBTI as a social label and social anxiety. Moreover, this study introduced ego identity, belonging, and impression management as mediating variables and found that, under the influence of ego identity and impression management, the use of MBTI has a significant impact on social anxiety. Discussion: The research reveals the complex role of MBTI among Chinese youth and provides a new perspective for understanding the impact of online social labels on the mental health of youth groups. Of course, this study also has limitations in terms of sample size and variable control. Accurately predicting homeowners' aesthetic preferences is crucial in interior design. This study develops a fine-tuning model (LORA) for interior design styles corresponding to different MBTI personality types, leveraging the Stable Diffusion Web UI platform and integrating it into a generative artificial intelligence framework. Subsequently, personalized aesthetic preference architectural interior renderings are recommended based on homeowners' personality traits, aiming to achieve an adaptive interior design approach. To achieve more precise adaptive solutions, this research surveys the style and color tendencies of respondents with different MBTI personality types and adds style description prompts to assist in image generation. The study finds that this method can better predict the interior design styles favored by certain MBTI personality types. This research contributes to addressing aesthetic biases between designers and homeowners, bringing innovative ideas and methods to interior design, and is expected to enhance homeowners' satisfaction. This study aimed to assess the potential contributions of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to the sustainable growth of communities by conducting a comprehensive analysis of social perceptions of the MBTI in South Korea through big data analysis. The investigation encompasses three primary stages: data collection, preprocessing, and analysis, involving text mining, network analysis, CONCOR analysis, and sentiment analysis. A total of 31,308 text data pieces (13.73 MB) from various sources, including news, blogs, and other sections of Naver and Google, over the past three years, were collected and analyzed using the keyword "MBTI". Tools, such as Textom SV, UCINET, and NetDraw, were employed for data collection and analysis. The study's key findings include the identification, through term frequency (TF) and TF-inverse document frequency analyses, of top-ranking terms, such as 16Types, 4Indicators, Test, Myself, OthersMBTI, Situation, and Contents. The CONCOR analysis further revealed six clusters, encompassing themes like interest in MBTI personality tests, application of 16 types in daily life, MZ's MBTI consumption patterns, trending of MBTI characters, extension to K-Test, and professional use of MBTI. Moreover, sentiment analysis indicated that 68.5% of individuals in South Korea expressed a positive sentiment towards MBTI, while 31.5% conveyed a negative sentiment. The specific emotions identified included liking (Good Feeling), disgust, and interest, in order of prominence. In light of these findings, this study delineates a spectrum of perceptions regarding MBTI in South Korea, encompassing both positive interests and negative concerns. To ensure the responsible use of MBTI, it is imperative to implement reliable scientific testing and education, mitigate the potential harm of stereotyping, and reshape social perceptions surrounding MBTI usage. This paper examines whether students' personality types influence their performance in two masters-level accounting courses: one traditional lecture setting (Financial Accounting) and one active learning setting (Accounting Research). Research has shown that accounting student performance is related to personality types (Nourayi and Cherry 1993; Lawrence and Taylor 2000). However, the accounting profession is pushing for active learning to emphasize the importance of communication and critical thinking skills (Pincus, Stout, Sorensen, Stocks, and Lawson 2017). Our study is the first to relate personality types to performance in learning settings in the accounting area. We also extend prior personality type research to examine masters-level accounting student performance. We find that Extrovert students outperformed Introvert students in the active learning setting and Sensing students outperformed Intuitive students in the traditional lecture setting. Combining personality types into four personality temperaments and four MBTI cognitive function groups also resulted in significant effects on student performance. Behavioral analysis is a new trend, and discovering what people think and feel, among other things, helps boost many things, including recommendation systems, e-commerce, fraud detection, etc. This paper focuses on personality analysis using machine and deep learning with different datasets, focusing on computational approaches and setting aside psychological studies.

Both optimism and pessimism are intricately intertwined with an individual's inherent personality traits and people of all personality types can exhibit a wide range of attitudes and behaviours, including levels of optimism and pessimism. This paper undertakes a comprehensive analysis of optimistic and pessimistic tendencies present within Hindi textual data, employing transformer‐based models. The research represents a pioneering effort to define and establish an interaction between the personality and attitude chakras within the realm of human psychology. Introducing an innovative “Chakra” system to illustrate complex interrelationships within human psychology, this work aligns the Myers‐Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality traits with optimistic and pessimistic attitudes, enriching our understanding of emotional projection in text. The study employs meticulously fine‐tuned transformer models—specifically mBERT, XLM‐RoBERTa, IndicBERT, mDeBERTa and a novel stacked mDeBERTa—trained on the novel Hindi dataset ‘मनोभाव’ (pronounced as Manobhav). Remarkably, the proposed Stacked mDeBERTa model outperforms others, recording an accuracy of 0.7785 along with elevated precision, recall, and F1 score values. Notably, its ROC AUC score of 0.7226 underlines its robustness in distinguishing between positive and negative emotional attitudes. The article attempts to present the results of a pilot study conducted in January – June 2020 among Polish high school students. The main aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between students’ personality type and their choices concerning writing in English as a foreign language. The study consisted of two stages – in the first stage students took an online personality test (MBTI), in the second – they filled in a questionnaire to express their views concerning writing skill. The first, theoretical, part of the article depicts different definitions of personality from the perspective of psychological types and psychological traits and summarises basic information connected with writing skill. In the second part the results of the study are presented and some conclusions are drawn, focusing on what implications the knowledge of students’ personality types can have on teaching writing.

From the edition of Psychological Types (1921) onward, literature and epistolary correspondence helped clarify how typology was anything but Carl Gustav Jung's main interest. The latter recognized its value as a critical apparatus for sifting empirical material, rather than an attempt to typify consciousnesses. It is precisely the heuristic capacity of types, which justifies their use today in psychotherapeutic and analytical settings. Paradoxically, it is instead their systematization as "characterology" that decreed their success even outside clinical contexts and, from the 1920s onward, their enormous diffusion at every latitude, making the theory gradually more and more relevant for evaluative, training, and orientational purposes. From 1942 to the present, numerous psychometric attempts inspired by Jungian typology are made, derived, congruent, or divergent from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). While the theory is becoming increasingly sophisticated methodologically, it nevertheless seems to overshadow almost all of the philosophical, literary, and cultural concerns dear to Jung, as noted by James Hillman in a talk given at Eranos in 1976, Egalitarian Typologies versus the Perception of the Unique. This study evaluates the validity and reliability of the Dynomight™ MBTI, an innovative adaptation of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), in comparison with the original MBTI. Employing a quantitative research design, the study involved administering both the original MBTI and the Dynomight™ MBTI to participants from the Tulua institution. The primary objective was to assess the criterion concurrent validity and test-retest reliability of the Dynomight™ MBTI over a 6-week period. Results indicated a high degree of correlation between the two instruments across all personality axes, demonstrating the Dynomight™ MBTI's strong alignment with established MBTI constructs. Notably, the Dynomight™ MBTI's expanded categorization system, which includes a borderline category, addresses key critiques of the original MBTI's binary classification system and reliability concerns. The study found that the Dynomight™ MBTI effectively captures the spectrum and fluidity of personality traits, offering a more inclusive and adaptable approach to personality assessment. This study investigated the influence of MBTI personality types, specifically feeling (F) and thinking (T), on performance metrics in text translation tasks. Utilizing a blend of emotive, cognitive, and operational skills as performance indicators, we examined how time spent on tasks, final scores and confidence levels correlate with these psychological typologies. The results support previous literature in revealing the prowess of thinking types in analytical tasks; however, they also unveil nuances such as the strong performance of feeling types in translation. Overall, the findings challenge conventional notions of self-efficacy across MBTI types, opening new avenues for multidisciplinary research to illuminate the interplay between personality and performance in translation. This study explores the impact of personality types, specifically introversion and extraversion, on translation quality. Utilizing the 16-personality assessment instrument that shares principles with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® framework, subjects were categorized into introverted and extraverted groups. The American Translators Association's assessment framework was used to evaluate translation quality. Findings show that introvert translators generally delivered better performances, supported by the quality points awarded during evaluations. However, several extravert translators also showed high levels of competency. These findings offer meaningful implications for the field of translation pedagogy, suggesting that understanding personality types can enable more effective personalized teaching methods. Indian medical education system is one of the largest in the world. Although several discussions were raised in research regarding the challenges of medical education and health care professionals, few researches have effectively addressed the problems of women faculty in medical education. This study identifies the prevalence of dual role conflicts among women faculty in medical colleges. The study also analysed the quality of work life of women faculty across the four domains of medical discipline, followed by dental, pharmacy and nursing. The stress level of women faculty was also ascertained, and the root cause of stress for women faculty working in medical colleges was identified with the application of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The MBTI analysis results suggest that women faculty are best motivated with well-defined policies and norms, significantly reducing role ambiguity, and the faculty has clarity about what is expected. The reliable correlation between personality and brain signal ensures that inferences from cognitive processes can be achieved. This research aims primarily to predict one's personality using brain signals. On grounds of Psychology, the inference of personality in this work is performed on the basis of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality inventory. Personality consists of different types of thinking, feeling and behavior patterns. EEG signals are produced when a person is exposed to situations or scenarios via visual information and experiences various emotions or sentiments. In this study, by evaluating brain waves while a person watches personality traits elicitation materials, the identification of the personality traits of an individual is done. The elicitation materials used for the collection of the dataset comprise approximately 50 videos with the pre‐defined personality of the dramatic personae and therefore, it is considered to be the ground truth for the experimental procedure of this work. For creating a dataset, sixty participants contributed and gave brain signals. The GP model with the proposed BSH crossover, known as the BSHGP model, is implemented. Purpose: For students who have already decided on their career path by entering the aviation departments, this study aims to analyze organizational commitment and teamwork relationships using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality type as a tool. Methods: In order to investigate the career choices of aviation workers according to MBTI personality types, a survey was conducted targeting enrolled in and graduating from the aviation departments, and organizational commitment and teawork were analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0. Results: Sening, Feeling, and Perceiving were mainly found in students who chose cabin crew as their career, whereas students in department of flight crew and aviation maintenance showed high level in Instuition, Thinkg, and Juding. As a result of the analysis, the MBTI type for each career path of aviation students was mainly ENTP for flight crew students, ESFP for cabin crew students, and INTP for aviation maintenance students. Conclusion: Even if students make their choice based on advice, subjective and objective judgments in choosing a career path, there are cases in which the chosen job does not suit them. Therefore, it is hoped that various indicators such as the MBTI will be used to help studnes choose their career path.

The first milestone and the foundation in every architect’s life is architectural education. As creativity is the core of successful architecture, focusing on its development in the pedagogical years would enhance every architect’s future career. Architectural education tends to give a one-size-fits-all approach to educating architects and helping with their creative potential, which neglects the students’ different levels of creativity along with their personalities’ individuality. This study aims to enhance each architect’s architectural pedagogical experience by acknowledging the student’s personality and creativity level which would help tailor a customized experience that would develop their full potential. This will be achieved by examining the relationship between personality types and creativity through the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Consensual Assessment Technique (CAT). The study is employed in the Architecture Department, Alexandria University - Egypt, where questionnaires were distributed to first- and second-year students along with design projects to be assessed by Architectural Department professors. Responses were analyzed using Pearson’s Chi-square analysis with Fisher’s exact test. The results indicated a strong connection between Intuition/Sensing and the creativity of students.

Personality is one of the utmost important assets of an individual which aids in categorizing the bounds of success, happiness and achievement in our life[1]. The study explores the sensing and intuitive personality dimensions of selected business school students across Gujarat state. Further, the study explores statistical differences in terms of various demographic aspects. NERIS Type Explorer® Scale was used to check the personality type of a total of 1067 management students. 69.5 per cent (742) of the respondents have a Sensing (S) personality dimension compared to 30.5 per cent (325) Intuition (N) personality dimension as dominating type. The conclusions of this research study are also reinforced by past research work which confirms that there are noteworthy differences between Sensing (S) and Intuitive (N) personality dimensions regarding selected demographic variables.

Personality has a significant weightage in our lives. It determines our cognitive abilities which directly affect our behaviour and our preferences and even affects our mental health. This project aims to predict users' mental health and MBTI personality using text inserted by the users via a web application. Utilizing Label Encoder and Count vectorizer, data was encoded. The machine learning model with the greatest accuracy score has been chosen. Several machine learning models were created and trained on the data-set, including Logistic Regression, SVM, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, and K-Neighbors Classifier. The XG-Boost classifier predicts 16 different personality types across four axes based on introversion, intuition, reasoning, and perceived abilities, even when tested on the same dataset. The accuracy which was predicted given by k fold Cross Validation shows that the XG-Boost classifier gives the best accuracy of 67.68 percent for prediction of the personality. This study mapped personality based on the newly proposed extraction method from consumers' textual data and revealed the relevance (attention) and polarity (affection) of words associated with a specific personality trait. Furthermore, we illustrate how unique words are used to predict a consumer's behavior associated with certain personality traits. In this study, we employed the scales of the Kaggle MBTI Personality dataset to examine the methodology's effectiveness, extract the personality traits from the textual data into features, and map them into the traits/dimensions of the existing scale. Based on the results obtained in this study, we assert that using the TF-IDF algorithm is a good way to generate a custom dictionary. Furthermore, sentiment scoring with an AI-empowered machine learning algorithm provides useful data to filter and validate more coherent words to understand and, thus, communicate a particular aspect of personality. Finally, we proposed that four situations involving the interaction between attention (frequency) and affection (sentiment) allow us to better understand the consumer and how to use the feature words in terms of the interaction between attention (TF-IDF score) and affection (sentiment score). The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a popular tool used by psychologists working as managers' coaches in organizational contexts. Despite its popularity, few studies provide empirical evidence on the role of the MBTI as a predictor of managers' leadership-related behaviors. This article is written based on research that answers the question of how good the MBTI is to prove leadership behavior. It does so by comparing goodness-of-fit indexes of two confirmatory factor analysis models and two structural models on the personality-leadership relationship, following standards of reproducible research principles. We sampled 529 participants who were graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in business administration programs from Colombian universities. Results show conclusive evidence of the psychometric measurement of both MBTI and leadership practices, even though the relationship between MBTI and the leadership practices inventory proved to be weak. Introduction: Adolescence is a crucial period for establishing ego identity and becoming a social individual. However, numerous adolescents suffer from mental health problems, especially after the conditions surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak. Personality assessments are often used when adolescents look for psychological self-help services. However, the meaning and mechanism of these personality assessments remain unknown. Taking the increasingly popular MBTI personality assessment as an entry point, the current study examined the potential sequential mediation relationship of Barnum effect - ego identity on the link between personality assessment usage and mental health. Methods: The current study surveyed 308 Chinese high school students, including 109 males and 199 females. MBTI use, Barnum effect, ego-identity, and mental health (subjective well-being, depression, and anxiety) were measured by seven questionnaires, respectively. Sequential mediation models were constructed to analyze the relationship. Results: The results indicate that the Barnum effect and ego identity together function as a sequential mediation path between personality assessment use and teenagers' mental health, including subjective well-being, depression, and anxiety. Specifically, a higher level of MBTI use triggers a stronger Barnum effect. The Barnum effect then promotes adolescents' ego identity, ultimately increasing subjective well-being levels and reducing anxiety and depression. Discussion: Our findings suggest that by properly using personality assessment and stimulating the Barnum effect, we can enhance adolescents' mental health. Abstract Although psychometric features have been considered for alternative credit scoring, they have not yet been applied to peer-to-peer (P2P) lending because such information is not available on platforms. This study proposed an alternative credit scoring model for P2P lending by extracting typical personality types inferred from the borrowers’ job category. We projected a virtual space of borrowers by using the affinity matrix based on the Myers–Briggs type indicator (MBTI) that fits each job category. Applying the distance in this space to Lending Club data, we used locally weighted logistic regression to vary the coefficients of the variables, which affect loan repayments, with each MBTI type for predicting the default probability. We found that each MBTI type’s credit scoring model has different significant variables. This study provides insights into breakthroughs in developing alternative credit scoring for P2P lending.

The ever-evolving research in the field of antitubercular agents has led to the identification of several new potential drug classes. Among them, 5-phenyl-furan-2-carboxylic acids have emerged as innovative potential therapeutics, targeting iron acquisition in mycobacterial species. In our efforts to characterize the molecular interactions between these compounds and their protein target (MbtI from M. tuberculosis) by means of co-crystallization experiments, we unexpectedly obtained the structure of 5-(4-nitrophenyl)furan-2-carboxylic acid (1). 5-Phenyl-furan-2-carboxylic acids have emerged as a new, promising class of antimycobacterial agents that have the ability to interfere with iron homeostasis. Considering the lack of structural data on these compounds, we analyzed the crystal of a fluorinated ester derivative of 5-(4-nitrophenyl)furan-2-carboxylic acid, one of the most potent candidates in the series. Abstarct: Aiming at the detection of learners' personalities which can help us to enhance the educational learning process, we trained three Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) architectures (ResNet50, VGG16, AlexNet) with different datasets for predicting the Five Factor Model (FFM) of personality (Neuroticism, Openness to experience, Extraversion, Conscientiousness and Agreeableness) from the analysis of facial features using Facial Action Coding System (FACS). As well, we compared the three CNNs model results by using multiple evaluation metrics: accuracy, loss, confusion matrix and Reciever Operator Charactetristic- Area under the ROC Curve (ROC-AUC), to decide the most useful model for our use case. Our proposed methodology is based on three steps: The base step where the face’ characteristics are detected and cropped from each video frame using a facial landmark detection algorithm. The second step aims to detect in real time face Action Units (AUs) traits which figured in each frame and compute the highest AU probability appeared on frames sets. The third step is used to decide based on detected AUs combinations personalities according to FFM by using a pre-trained decision tree algorithm. Detected personalities are designed to be stored in a database as a dataset to be exploited and studied in multiple contexts particularly in the analysis of student personality in learning platforms.
