The 2S 3 transformation, which was first described for positive integers, has been defined for dyadic rational numbers in the op en interval (0, 1) in this study. The set of dyadic rational numbers is a Prüfer 2-group. For the dyadic 2S3 transformation Tds(x), the restricted multiplicative and additive properties have been established. Graph parameters are used to generate more combinatorial outcomes for these properties. The open neighborhood of a vertex u, represented by N(u) in a simple connected graph G is the collection of all nodes that are adjacent to u, other than u. In this paper, we introduce a square matrix of order n, called the open neighborhood matrix ONM(G) of G whose (i; j)th entry is jN(vi) \ N(vj)j di + dj whenever vi vj ; i 6= j; and zero otherwise, where di and dj are the degrees of vi and vj, respectively. We then establish the relationship between the connectedness of the graph G and multiplicity of the eigenvalue zero of the matrix ONM(G), if it exists. For integers n > 1 , k ≥ 1 , let n = { 1 , 2 , 3 , ... , n }. Let ϕ ( n) be the set of all non-empty subsets of n . Let V 1 be the set of k -element subsets of n , and V 2 = ϕ ( n) − V 1 . A bipartite Kneser type- k graph H T (n , k) is defined with parts V 1 and V 2 , and a vertex A ∈ V 1 is adjacent to a vertex B ∈ V 2 if and only if A ⊂ B or B ⊂ A. The algebraic properties of bipartite Kneser type- k graphs are investigated. For any integers n ≥ 3 , the automorphism groups of bipartite Kneser type-1 graphs are isomorphic to the symmetric group S n . The bipartite Kneser type-1 graph's Wiener index, peripheral Wiener index, and peripheral Hosoya polynomial were established. For integers n and k , n > 2 and 2 k < n or 2 k > n , 1 ≤ k < n , the automorphism group of H T (n , k) is isomorphic to the symmetric group S n . For n is even and 2 k = n , the automorphism group of H T (n , k) is isomorphic to S n × ℤ 2 , where ℤ 2 is the cyclic group of order 2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study was to establish the relationship among simple visual reaction time (svrt), choice visual reaction time (cvrt) and attention control in elite Indian athletes of national level. A total of 361 elite athletes aged between 18-32 Years from 8 sports disciplines viz., Athletics, Badminton, Basket Ball, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Volleyball and Weight Lifting were drawn as subjects for this study. Each subject reaction time (simple visual reaction time and choice visual reaction time) and attentional control were measured and data analyzed by using Pearson's product moment correlation. The extent of association among simple and choice visual reaction time and attentional control were analyzed. Significant correlations were found between simple visual reaction time and choice visual reaction time in the subjects but not between reaction times (svrt and cvrt) and attention control. However meaningful correlations but not significant were found between reaction time (svrt and cvrt) and attentional control. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Hortus Malabaricus is the oldest important printed book on Indian medicinal plants. The 1(st) of its 12 volumes was published in 1678 from Amsterdam this book, written by H.A. Van Rheede is perhaps the only authentic record of the ethnoiatrical knowledge of ancient Malabar, available to us today. Several hundred medicinal plants which were successful used by the Ayurvedic physiclans of 17(th) century are described in this, along with their medicinal powers and methods of application. The identity of many of the plants described has not yet been accurately established, which would be of considerable interest to ayurveda.

Cyclea barbata Miers is reported for the first time from south India (Silent Valley forests, Kerala). This is commonly used as a medicinal plant in Java, for stomach troubles and as a prophylactic against fever. Nomenclature, description ad other relevant notes are provided.
