This study aims to evaluate the level of soil fertility with the parameters of soil fertility chemistry in the form of organic-C, Phosporous (P) available, Calium (K), Natrium (Na) available, Cation exchangeable capacity (CEC), and Base saturation (KB) soil. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method of phenomenology by conducting quantitative land survey and laboratory analysis. Determination of status soil fertility based on technical guidelines for evaluating soil fertility at the Soil Research Center. The results showed the organic-C and P available content low in each land use, except for organic-C in forest land. The content of K in forest land and dryland agriculture is classified as high to low, whereas in agroforestry land is classified as moderate to low. Based on CEC in forest land and dryland agriculture is classified as high, whereas in agroforestry is classified as moderate. Based on KB, the condition of soils in forest land and agroforestry is classified as fertile on the surface horizon, while subsurface the fertility level is classified as infertile, while in the dryland agriculture the soil fertility is classified as moderate.

The purpose of this research is to know the efficiency of irrigation networks and water loss Swamps the Mayo that occurred during the distribution of irrigation. Research methods used in this research is a research field that is by calculating the discharge of water channels, perkolasi, evaporation and seepage. The research results obtained average discharge early in the primary channel of 0.292 m3/s, the final discharge 0.25 m3/s, the loss of water, 0,042 m3/s and the efficiency of irrigation of 85,62%. On the secondary channel 1 average early discharge 0.268 m3/s discharge, 0.153 m3/s end, water loss of 0.115 m3/s and irrigation efficiency of 57,08%. On the secondary channel II early 0.22 m3/s debit, debit end 0.118 m3/s, water loss of 0.102 m3/s and irrigation efficiency of 53,63%. Irrigation efficiency at Mayo swamp irrigation is 46.39% where the value still meets the KP-01 (2013) Irrigation planning standard.

Specific targets for this study is to increase the income of seaweed farmers through increasing regional competitiveness in South Sulawesi Province and an arrangement for alternative policy patterns in the development of seaweed agribusiness in Bulukumba Regency. The research location is in Bulukumba Regency which one of the centers of seaweed production in South Sulawesi Province. This research was descriptive qualitative-quantitative research. The survey research method was used as the basis of the research design. Data collection was carried out using individual interviews and in-depth interviews through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for socio-economic institutions of seaweed farmers, policymakers and stakeholders. The results showed that the feasibility level of seaweed farming was quite high even though there were variations between regions. The variation in the lower level of profitability of farming in the Bonto Bahari Sub District area which is allegedly caused by the pollution impact caused by the operation of an asphalt processing plant in the local seaweed cultivation area. The institution of seaweed farmers has not yet functioned well even though there are still farmers who do not have a group. It is recommended to develop the seaweed business both in scale and the number of its business units and to conduct a special study of the role of institutions and the environmental impacts that are allegedly caused by asphalt processing plants.

The study aimed to determine the response of four varieties of romaine lettuce, grown hydroponically, to Ammonium-Nitrate ratio in the hydroponic solution as a source of N nutrient. The research was conducted in a Screen House at Tamalanrea district of Makassar from October to December 2018 in the form of factorial experiments based on nested design patterns. The trial used three ratios of Ammonium-Nitrate consisted of 1:4, 1:6, and 1:8 into Hougland hydroponic nutrient solution, and AB Mix as the control treatment. Four Romain Lettuce varieties used as the second factor consisted of Romaine Ballon, Swiss Jade, Red Romaine, and Green Romaine. The results show that the ratio of Ammonium-Nitrate of 1:4 gave the best growth and production while Romaine Ballon variety showed better growth and production compared to other varieties.

The main objective of this research was to produce a prototype of a simple water pump using a TSAV (vertical axis wind turbine) wind turbine as a prime mover and to analyze the relationship between wind speed and speed of windmill spin with the dependent variable in the form of water flow from the pump. The study used experimental and design methods. The test results obtained a wind speed of 3.6 m/s in an average windmill rotation of 5.6 rpm. Based on ANOVA test, the wind speed in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night had a significant difference. The highest wind speed occurred during the day at 4.3 m/s while the lowest wind speed occurred at night at 2.2 m/s. Water discharge generated by the pump was 2.0347 liters/minute with an efficiency of 89.7% pump. The results of the analysis showed that wind speed, windmill spin, and water discharge could change linearly. The higher the wind speed, the greater the number of spinning windmills, and the more water discharge produced. Therefore, the results of testing the pump can work well and has the potential to be developed in the region with the existing wind speed.

This study aims to map landslide susceptibility areas in Bogor City. The method used is the modified SMORPH method. the main parameters in this method are the slope angle and slope shape. Calculation of slope shape using curvature algorithm. The results showed that the widest medium and high hazard classes were in the South Bogor Subdistrict with a percentage reaching 46.14%. This is because most of the area is the lower slope of denudational volcanic cones and river cliffs. Medium and high hazards with the lowest area are in East Bogor Subdistrict, where the dominance of the area is the volvio volcanic plain covering an area of 70.41% of the total area.

The primary cooling water system of a nuclear reactor contains Co-60 which requires treatments to avoid adverse effects on society and the environment. Experiment of Co-60 adsorption by using silica xerogel has been done. This experiment was intended to study the isothermal adsorption equilibrium and to determine thermodynamic parameters. Silica xerogel was made from rice husk ash using sol-gel method. The prepared of silica xerogel has a specific surface area of 142.034 m2/g. The adsorption experiments were carried out in a batch wise until it reaches an equilibrium state with variation of the initial concentration and temperature. The results show that Co (II) adsorption by silica xerogel following the Langmuir isotherm than Fruendlich model. Based on the experiment at three different temperatures, the maximum adsorption capacities depend on the temperature there are 25.71; 26.25; and 26.81 mg/g successively at a temperature of 30; 35; and 40 °C. The thermodynamic parameters showed that the cobalt-60 adsorption process by silica xerogel is spontaneous and endothermic with values of ΔH 117.084 kJ / mol and ΔS 35.582 kJ/K/mol. The use of the silica xerogel on the adsorption of reactor cooling water system containing Co-60 showed a decreasing of activity of the waste until 85% from the initial activity. These results indicate that the silica xerogel can be utilized as material to treat radioactive liquid waste containing Co-60.
