The author represents the method of creating composite 3D-models employing technology of geographical information systems for environmental impact assessment of projected, constructed and operating energy facilities. The paper describes the techniques of applying bundled software ArcView with add-on modules ImageWarp and RASTRProfi for alignment of multiscale bit-mapped and direct-beam three-dimensional models with the object of evaluating ecological risks for diverse territories.The article evaluates the environmental impact of a thermal power plant near the city of Rasht (industrial area Saravan) and demonstrates analysis of the territorial distribution of the soil contamination with varied pollutants at different wind structures. The paper demonstrates the method of building composite 3D-models applied for assessment of presumable incidents with radioactivity discharge at the nuclear power plant in Halileh, 20 km from the city of Bushehr. By analyzing the wind diagram in the territory being explored and determining the predominant wind directions in different periods, it is possible by way of employing this method to distinguish the territories and the objects with most unfavorable prognosis. This enables rendering a prompt decision on the measures minimizing unfavorable impact on the population and environment.Altering the point of topographical survey while synchronizing the scales, the researcher can place the designed project within any territory and analyze the necessary parameters for each variant.The author considers the presented in such a manner technique worth productive implementing while analyzing environmental impact of both operating and projected industrial facilities (industrial and agricultural enterprises, thermal and nuclear electric-power plants etc.).

The paper presents an analysis of main sources of energy resource production and their sale in the domestic and export markets. The authors have analyzed type of domestic energy consumers and estimated their environmental impacts. The paper shows that the shift to alternative energy sources will reduce an ecological impact on the environment.

Abstract In this paper, we first obtain the higher-dimen-sional dilaton–Lifshitz black hole solutions in the presence of Born–Infeld (BI) electrodynamics. We find that there are two different solutions for the cases of $$z=n+1$$ z = n + 1 and $$z\ne n+1$$ z ≠ n + 1 where z is the dynamical critical exponent and n is the number of spatial dimensions. Calculating the conserved and thermodynamical quantities, we show that the first law of thermodynamics is satisfied for both cases. Then we turn to the study of different phase transitions for our Lifshitz black holes. We start with the Hawking–Page phase transition and explore the effects of different parameters of our model on it for both linearly and BI charged cases. After that, we discuss the phase transitions inside the black holes. We present the improved Davies quantities and prove that the phase transition points shown by them are coincident with the Ruppeiner ones. We show that the zero temperature phase transitions are transitions in the radiance properties of black holes by using the Landau–Lifshitz theory of thermodynamic fluctuations. Next, we turn to the study of the Ruppeiner geometry (thermodynamic geometry) for our solutions. We investigate thermal stability, interaction type of possible black hole molecules and phase transitions of our solutions for linearly and BI charged cases separately. The problems of energy, environment protection and ecology play a major role in the development of economy strategy in any country. Most of the traditional power stations operating on organic fuels have a negative impact on the environment. Furthermore, there is a depletion of natural resources due to human activities. One of the ways to solve the problem of environmentally friendly energy production is to use alternative sources of energy. Based on the foregoing, the development of the strategy for the development of traditional and alternative energy must consider environmental and economic factors in a specific country. In the present work it was evaluated the environmental and economic efficiency of application of traditional and alternative energy with regard to the conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The program packages RETScreen which is one of the most effective tools to accomplish the task was used. Calculations of cumulative cash flow from the operation of power plants using different types of primary energy are carried out using models of package RETScreen for assessing the input efficiency of various types of energy sources aiming to cover the intending growth in electricity demands and the environmental assessment with reference to different countries. The results of the study showed that the planning prospects of the development of energy systems in relation to the Islamic Republic of Iran to cover the expected growth in electricity demands it is advisable to use the alternative energy sources, and, first of all, the generating capacity based on solar and wind energy.
