The COVID-19 pandemic has created massive issues around the world. To ensure that education continued during the crisis, educational institutions had to implement a variety of initiatives. This paper aims to examine the growth and country collaboration on social media (SM) research during the COVID-19 pandemic through a systematic review and investigate the impact of this body of work by citation and network analyses. The number of articles, keywords, and clusters of worldwide academic scholars working in the area was mapped using R studio and the VOS viewer tool. According to the study results, 519 articles have been retrieved from the Web of Science in the field of domain. The USA has produced the most publications, and Chen IH and Lin CY were the most prolific authors. Furthermore, the most studies on SM use in higher education were released in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. This research will help academic researchers, organizations, and policymakers to understand the ongoing research on SM during the last pandemic. It will help future academics analyze the evolution of social media technologies in higher education throughout the pandemic and identify areas for further study.

The paper presents the attitude of the undergraduate tribal students of the colleges of Kargil district towards the information sources and library services. The study aims at knowing the information needs, information sources used and information search methods and the usage pattern of the sources. Findings show that the tribal students (Library Users) mostly visit the library for reading and the most used information sources are the books. It's found that open access through the library racks are effective for retrieving the desired information source.

The study investigated the use of electronic resources/information by library users in selected colleges of Solapur University. Specifically, to investigate the awareness and level of use of electronic resources; perceived reliance, benefits and impact of use of electronic resources on the research activities. The research design for the study was a survey. Questionnaire schedule was used to collect data from 1022 library users from selected colleges of Solapur University. The result revealed that preponderance of users from aided 33.51% Self financing 26.10% and Education colleges 43.24 % preferred to visit the Library once in three days. While analyzing the entire college libraries regarding the frequency of visit, users gave first preference to once in three days i.e. 27.2%. College wise analysis reveals that mainstream of users from Aided Colleges 38%, Self financing Colleges 28.3%, Engineering Colleges 43%, Education colleges 53.2% and Pharmacy Colleges 23.4% are spending their time 1-2 hrs in libraries and 40.8%visit college libraries to issue and return books and in the device usage (33.9%) of users ranked mobile phone as the second device for accessing the e-resources. It is noticeable that 24.7% of users acknowledge from Aided Colleges know about the services of the Library from website but in Self Finance Colleges 8.5% and Pharmacy College 56.4% users aware about the services from the friends it is observed that most of the web technologies are not used by the mainstream of the users due to lack of awareness, training etc., 13 pages

The paper explores and analyses the trend of world literature on “Coronavirus Disease” in terms of the output of research publications as indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) of Web of Science during the period from 2011 to 2020. The study found that 6071 research records have been published on Coronavirus Disease till March 20, 2020. The various scientometric components of the research records published in the study period were studied. The study reveals the various aspects of Coronavirus Disease literature such as year wise distribution, relative growth rate, doubling time of literature, geographical wise, organization wise, language wise, form wise , most prolific authors, and source wise. The highest number of articles was published in the year 2019, while lowest numbers of research article were reported in the year 2020. Further, the relative growth rate is gradually increases and on the other hand doubling time decreases. Most of the research publications are published in English language and most of the publications published in the form of research articles. USA is the highest contributor to the field of Coronavirus Disease literature.

The Present Study analyzed research productivity in Journal of Documentation (JDoc) for a period of 30 years between 1989 and 2018. Web of Science database a service from Clarivate Analytics has been used to download citation and source data. Bibexcel and Histcite application software have been used to present the datasets. Analysis part focuses on the parameters like citation impact at local and global level, influential authors and their total output, ranking of contributing institutions and countries. In addition to this scientographical mapping of data is presented through graphs using VOSviewer software mapping technique.

The paper represents the Authorship Pattern in the field of Bronchitis research dependenton the productions indexed in the Web of Science during the period from 2014 to 2018. By andlarge all out 21147 records were accessed. Bibexcel and MS-Excel were utilized to break downthe records. Pajek was used to make the mapping. It is discovered that the Degree of Collaboration shows a growth with fluctuation. The collaborative index for widespread degree of 28.81 shows a supportive tool towards synergistic research design than single research in Bronchitis look into. The author Chang AB has recorded 115 papers. The authorship pattern demonstrates that, out of all out 21147 researchers, 95.46% of the production distributed underthe multiple authors.

The present study is undertaken to find out the publication trends on Alopecia Areata Disease during 2010-2019 from the global perspective. The study mainly focus on distribution of research output, top journals for publications, most prolific authors, authorship pattern, and citations pattern on Alopecia Areata Disease. The results indicate that highest growth rate of publications occurred during the year 2019. Columbia University topped the scene among all institutes. The maximum publications were more than four authored publications. Christiano AM and Clynes R were found to be the most prolific authors. It is also found that most of the prolific authors (by number of publications) do appear in highly cited publications’ list. Alopecia Areata Disease researchers mostly preferred using article publications to communicate their findings.

The paper is based on analyses of 787 papers by 2862 authors collected in the Journal of Advances in Geosciences publications from DOAJ. This study targets the authorship pattern and applicability of Lotka’s Law by counting the number of publications by each author, also applies the Chi-square test to test the hypothesis and finds the law still applicable to this research.

The purpose of the study is to examine the influence of reading ability of school children of higher schools in Murshidabad district, West Bengal. Survey method has been adopted in this study. The population of this study consists of school children of higher secondary Schools in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. As the population is large, in terms of cost, money and effort involved, the investigator at the first stage selected 7 schools by simple random method. There are 580 students studying XI class in these schools. Again the investigator selected 182 students out of 580 by simple random method. The data has been gathered from 182 students using questionnaire method. The data has been analysed keeping in view the objectives using descriptive statistical techniques. Most of the students (86.81%) replied that they read books every day. A majority of the students (58.79%) replied that they read newspapers every day A majority of the students (68.68%) did not do online chatting with friends. A majority of them (65.93%) replied that television, internet facilities, cell phone, and other electronic media in their school and home did not interfere with their reading hours. An average each student is spending 2 hours 12minutes and 11 seconds on reading textbooks every day. Hence the students should be encouraged by the parents, teachers and librarians to spend more time on study related activities. The government should establish functional libraries which are adequately created for and well furnished with current biographic or story book materials which will in turn stimulate to increase the reading ability of the students.

College library has to play a vital role in meeting the multi-dimensional demands of students and faculties for information and knowledge. The study focused on student's satisfaction regarding library resources and services at Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening) library. It discusses the collections both print as well as electronic, basic facilities, physical setup, electronic or digital resources, traditional and ICT based services. The study found that 75.82% users are fully satisfied with overall resources and services of the college library, majority 83.44% users are using library for the purpose of lending materials, 79.30% users satisfied with Library OPAC, 72.33% with Circulation, only 16.78% are satisfied with internet facilities and 21.35% with online databases. The study suggested that College library should improve the internet facilities and organize a library orientation program at regular intervals in order to maximize the use of library resources and services especially e-resources.

We are living in an age of information explosion. Computer and other electronic resources has become an indispensable tool in our society [1]. The main function of a library is to provide information to the users. With the help of electronic resources the staff, students and the researchers can access to the huge volume of information with speed and accuracy. The present paper makes an attempt to adjudicate the performance of libraries having e resource facilities. Through the evaluation the Pondicherry University and its affiliated colleges may acquire an idea regarding the improvement and further development. In addition they may be able to know the users attitude about the Library services. Therefore based on the above context this paper is significant one.

Artificial intelligence has changed our day to day life in multitude ways. AI technology is rearing itself as a driving force to be reckoned with in the largest industries in the world. AI has already engulfed our educational system, our businesses and our financial establishments. The future is definite that machines with artificial intelligence will soon be captivating over trained manual work that now is mostly cared by humans. Machines can carry out human-like tasks by new inputs as artificial intelligence makes it possible for machines to learn from experience. AI data from web of science database from 2008 to 2017 have been mapped to depict the average growth rate, relative growth rate, contribution made by authors in the view of research productivity, authorship pattern and collaboration of AI literature. The Lotka’s law on authorship productivity of AI literature has been tested to confirm the applicability of the law to the present data set. A K-S test was applied to measure the degree of agreement between the distribution of the observed set of data against the inverse general power relationship and the theoretical value of α = 2. It is found that the inverse square law of Lotka follow as such.

The aim of this study was to analyze Brazil research performance on Coronary Artery Disease as reflected in indexed publications in Web of Science with a view to understand their distribution of research output, top journals for publications, most prolific authors, authorship pattern, and citations pattern on CAD. The results indicate that highest growth rate of publications occurred between the years 1995-1999. University Sao Paulo topped the scene among all institutes. The maximum publications were more than ten authored publications. Ramires JAF and Santos RD were found to be the most prolific authors. It is also found that most of the prolific authors (by number of publications) do not emerge in highly cited publications’ list. CAD researchers mostly preferred using article publications to communicate their findings.
