Abstract

The paper investigates the features of phase and structural transformations in lithium-titanium ferrites with regard to the time and temperature of solid-state sintering in thermal and radiation-thermal modes. These properties are studied with using the temperature dependence of the initial permeability. It is shown that electron beam exposure during solid-state sintering sharply accelerates the dissolution of impurity inclusions in ferrites. Also phase homogeneity of lithium-titanium ferrites products increase. The obtained results can be used for increasing of the phase homogeneity in ferrite production. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Earlier it was found the structure of the reaction products of 1,4-benzoquinones and N-arylsulfonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with acetylacetone imines depends on the structure of the reagents and the experimental conditions. The indole derivatives formed in aprotic solvents, the benzofuran derivatives were obtained in acidic medium. Benzofuran derivatives are bioactive compounds and widely used as drugs. The aim of this work is to obtain reaction products of new N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with 4-(4-toluidine)pent-3-en-2-one. Reactions of N-aroyl-, N-benzylideneacetyl-, N-arylaminocarbonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with 4-(4-toluidine)pent-3-en-2-one were carried out in acetic acid, chloroform and dichloroethane with distillation of the solvent. The new 3-acetyl-5-acylamido-2-methylbenzofurans were obtained in one step at room temperature only in acetic acid. The Nenitescu reaction is multistage and the presence of protons in the reaction medium greatly facilitates a protonation of intermediates formed during reaction. The reaction products were obtained only for quinone imines with a free C=C bond in the quinoid ring. For 2,5-dimethyl-, 6-isopropyl-3-methyl-, 3,5-dimethyl derivatives of 1,4-benzoquinone monoimines, containing alkyl substituents at the carbon atoms of both C=C bonds of the quinoid ring, we obtained mixtures of products which could not be identified. We did not obtain indole derivatives, since the reaction of N-aroyl-, N-benzylideneacetyl-, N-arylaminocarbonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with 4-(4-toluidine)pent-3-en-2-one in aprotic solvents gave multicomponent mixtures which could not be separated., У результаті реакції Неніцеску N-арил-, N-бензиліденацетил- та N-ариламінокарбоніл-1,4-бензохінонмоноімінів з 4-(п-толуїдино)пент-3-ен-2-оном в одну стадію при кімнатній температурі в оцтовій кислоті отримано 3-ацетил-5-ациламідо-2-метилбензофурани. Наявність протонів у реакційному середовищі значно полегшує протонування інтермедіатів. Похідні індолу в апротонних розчинниках одержати не вдалося.

Abstract

The hydrohalogenation of N-arylaminocarbonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines is optimal method to obtain the halogenated derivatives. This method allows obtaining the pure products in high yield with a halogen atom in the aminophenol ring. The bromination of N-arylaminocarbonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines and their reduced forms allows obtaining of individual products only in several cases. The bromination allows synthesizing of products with a halogen atom not only in the aminophenol ring, but in the aryl moiety too. As a result of the experiment we have found the optimal conditions to synthesis the N-arylaminocarbonyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimine derivatives containing halogen atom. The bromination and hydrohalogenation products with one free ortho-position toward to the imine carbon atom of the quinoid ring can be used as synthons in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds – 1,3-benzoxazole derivatives., Галогенування N-ариламінокарбоніл-1,4-бензохінонмоноімінів є найбільш вдалим методом синтезу похідних на їх основі з атомом галогену в амінофенольному ядрі. В результаті бромування N-ариламінокарбоніл-1,4-бензохінонмоноімінів та їх відновлених форм виявлено бромування як амінофенольного ядра, так і арильного фрагменту. Знайдено оптимальні умови одержання індивідуальних бромвмісних продуктів з різною кількістю атомів брому в молекулі.

Abstract
