The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of shortage of qualified personnel. The definition of the concept of "personnel hunger" is given. The reasons and consequences of the shortage of professionals affecting the activities of the organization are considered. A conceptual scheme for solving the problem of personnel shortage in the organization is proposed. Статья посвящена анализу проблемы дефицита квалифицированных кадров. Дано определение понятия «кадровый голод». Рассмотрены причины и следствия нехватки профессионалов, влияющие на деятельность организации. Предложена концептуальная схема решения проблемы кадрового голода в организации.

Employee career management is one of the most popular areas of personnel development in the human resource management system. Career counseling plays a special role in this process, since it directly affects the formation of different types of personnel potential: managerial, expert and leadership. The authors propose a conceptual scheme linking the type of potential with the type of career counseling. The article is devoted to the study of the employer's external HR brand to attract young employees. The article presents a comparative characteristic of the external HR brand of large companies in the metallurgical industry operating in the Russian market. It is revealed that the employer's brand is an important element in the corporate culture of the organization in attracting and retaining talent. One of the value propositions can be the support of talented employees through a system of stimulating the innovative activity of the organization's personnel. Статья посвящена исследованию внешнего HR-бренда работодателя для привлечения молодых талантливых сотрудников. Приведена сравнительная характеристика HR-бренда крупных компаний металлургической отрасли, оперирующих на российском рынке. Выявлено, что бренд работодателя — это важный элемент в корпоративной культуре организации в привлечении и удержании талантов. Одним из ценностных предложений может стать поддержка талантливых работников посредством системы стимулирования инновационной активности персонала организации.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the real practice of forming a personnel reserve at the enterprises of a large metallurgical company. The study revealed the structure of the personnel reserve, the stages and principles of the formation of the personnel reserve. For the development of the personnel reserve formation system, promising directions for improving the work with the personnel reserve of the management of individual legal entities are proposed. Статья посвящена анализу реальной практики формирования кадрового резерва на предприятиях крупной металлургической компании. В ходе исследования выявлена структура резерва кадров, этапы и принципы формирования кадрового резерва. Для развития системы формирования кадрового резерва предложены перспективные направления совершенствования работы с кадровым резервом руководящего состава отдельных юридических лиц.
