A presente dissertação tem como objetivo explorar uma área relativamente recente na comunidade da conservação, time-based media art conservation, no contexto museológico português. Através da recolha e análise de testemunhos de profissionais envolvidos na gestão e cuidado de coleções de arte contemporânea, iniciou-se um estado da arte relativo as práticas e políticas museológicas aplicadas aos espólios de time-based media, em território nacional. No estudo foram abrangidas as seguintes instituições: Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian – Coleção Arte Moderna, Fundação de Arte Moderna e Contemporânea – Coleção Berardo, Fundação Caixa Geral de Depósitos – Culturgest e Fundação de Serralves - Museu de Serralves. No desenvolvimento do trabalho de investigação foi fundamental compreender as principais preocupações, desafios e diretrizes práticas museológicas que visam a preservação de espólios time-base media, através do estudo de projetos de investigação e publicações de museus internacionais pioneiros na conservação de obras que envolvem o tempo como dimensão e componentes tecnológicos de ponta. Com o ponto de situação realizado, concluiu-se que a área específica da conservação de time-based media em contexto prático português requer vários desenvolvimentos. No nosso entendimento, é necessário um grande impulso do setor no sentido da implementação de estratégias de gestão e conservação que garantam a sobrevivência e exposição destas obras dentro de parâmetros funcionais e éticos. Ambiciona-se que a presente investigação impulsione a realização de novos estudos empíricos, mais específicos e direcionados, como resposta as diferentes observações realizadas. The aim of this Dissertation Thesis is to explore a relatively recent area in conservation, which is the time-based media art conservation, in the Portuguese museum context. The study consists of gathering and analysing various testimonies by professionals who are involved in the management and care of the main portuguese contemporary art collections, namely: Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian – Coleção Arte Moderna, Fundação Museu Coleção Berardo, Fundação Caixa Geral de Depósitos – Culturgest e Fundação de Serralves - Museu de Serralves. Along this work it has been crucial to understand the state of the art and the main recommendations coming from pioneering time-based media conservation museum departments. The specific area time-based media art conservation in Portugal still requires a great development. It is our understanding, that a significant impulse to the sector is needed to implement management and conservation strategies that may ensure the survival and future exhibition of these works within ethical parameters. With the present state of the art based on different perspectives about the current state of management and care of time-based media art collections and subsequent reflections, it is our goal to create an impulse to new empirical studies, more specific and focused, that can work as an answer to the problems observed.

Objectivo: Avaliar a qualidade do sono dos utentes adultos que recorrem aos cuidados de saúde primários. Tipo de estudo: Estudo transversal. Local: Unidade de Saúde Familiar Gil Eanes - Unidade Local de Saúde do Alto Minho, EPE. População: Utentes adultos que recorrem aos cuidados de saúde primários. Métodos: Procedeu-se à aplicação do Questionário de Pittsburgh sobre a Qualidade do Sono (PSQI), que considera boa qualidade de sono se PSQI = 5 e má qualidade do sono se PSQI > 5. Foram ainda colhidas informações referentes às variáveis idade, sexo, estado civil, escolaridade, profissão, situação profissional, antecedentes de patologia psiquiátrica e uso de medicação para dormir. O questionário foi aplicado a uma amostra de conveniência de utentes adultos pertencentes ao ficheiro das investigadoras. Foram excluídos os utentes com doença grave, alterações cognitivas, grávidas, puérperas e iletrados. Resultados: O estudo incluiu 103 utentes, dos quais 36,9% eram homens. Cerca de metade dos utentes dorme mal (PSQI > 5 em 52,4% versus PSQI = 5 em 47,6%). Observou-se que existem diferenças significativamente estatísticas entre os que dormem bem e os que dormem mal no que diz respeito às variáveis sexo, idade, escolaridade e situação profissional. Conclusões: As perturbações do sono são muito frequentes nos utentes que recorrem aos cuidados de saúde primários. Daí, a necessidade dos Médicos de Família, fazendo uso da sua posição privilegiada, estarem alerta para esta patologia de modo a fazerem adequadamente o seu diagnóstico e acompanhamento. O PSQI é um bom instrumento de avaliação da qualidade do sono e uma ferramenta fundamental na avaliação sistemática de todos os doentes, assumindo um papel ainda mais relevante na avaliação das populações de maior risco. Aim: Assessment of sleep quality in adult primary care patients Type of study: Cross-sectional study Place: Gil Eanes Family Health Unit - Unidade Local de Saúde do Alto Minho, EPE Population: Adult primary care patients Methods: We used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Good sleep quality was defined as a PSQI less or equal to 5 and poor sleep quality as a PSQI greater than 5. We also collected data on age, sex, marital status, schooling, profession, and professional status, a personal history of psychiatric problems and the use of sleep medication. The questionnaire was administered to a convenience sample of adult patients on the practice lists of the researchers. Patients with chronic illnesses, cognitive dysfunction, pregnant women, women up to 6 weeks postpartum, and illiterate patients were excluded from the study. Results: The study included 103 patients, of which 36,9% were men. Sleep problems were found in over half of the study sample (PSQI> 5 in 52,4% versus PSQI = 5 in 47,6%). There were significant associations found between sleeping quality and sex, age, education and professional status. Conclusions: Sleep disorders are common in primary care patients and family physicians are well placed to diagnose and treat them. The PSQI is a good instrument for assessing sleep quality.

Relatório de Estágio apresentado à Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Hoje em dia, as turmas são cada vez mais diversificadas e existe uma necessidadede realizar atividades que captem a atenção e o interesse dos alunos. Deste modo, o professor tem de encontrar atividades que sejam do interesse dos alunos e, simultaneamente, através das quais eles consigam aprender e adquirir aprendizagens significativas. De uma forma geral, os alunos revelam bastante interesse pelas atividades que envolvam as Expressões. No caso específico da Expressão Dramática, esta pode ser uma ferramenta que auxilia na compreensão de elementos de um texto narrativo e possibilita aos alunos serem eles próprios a desempenhar os papéis das personagens que fazem parte da história. Esta investigação teve como principal objetivo perceber a importância da Expressão Dramática na compreensão dos textos narrativos e comparar os resultados da compreensão dos textos nas atividades de leitura e interpretação com as atividades que, para além da leitura e interpretação, envolviam a representação dramática da história. Desta forma, este Projeto de Investigação foi aplicado durante o 2.º ano de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, mais especificamente no âmbito da Prática Supervisionada no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Os participantes nesta investigação eram um grupo de 20 alunos pertencentes a uma turma do 4.º Ano da Escola Básica João Roiz. No que diz respeito às metodologias, a que se considerou mais pertinente foi uma metodologia de investigação-ação, em que a observação participante e a reflexão acerca do que foi observado foram bastante importantes. Para além da observação participante, foram utilizados outros instrumentos, tais como um questionário, uma entrevista à professora, notas de campo, a gravação de um vídeo e, ainda, um comentário escrito pelos alunos acerca da influência da dramatização na compreensão do segundo texto trabalhado. Através da análise dos dados recolhidos, é possível compreender que os alunos ficaram bastante motivados com as atividades de dramatização da história e se empenharam por desempenhar os seus papéis o mais corretamente possível. Foi também possível constatar que o facto de serem os próprios alunos a desempenharem o papel de cada uma das personagens e serem eles a contar a história, contribuiu para que compreendessem determinados aspetos da história, que não conseguiam identificar com tanta facilidade através da leitura, como por exemplo, o espaço da ação e a sequência de acontecimentos. Em suma, o Jogo Dramático constitui-se como uma ferramenta importante para que os alunos compreendam alguns aspetos dos textos narrativos, que não conseguem reconhecer somente através da leitura dos mesmos. Nowadays, classes are increasingly diverse and there is a need for activities that capture the attention and interest of students. Thus, the teacher has to find activities that are of interest to students and simultaneously, through which they are able to learn and acquire meaningful learning. In general, students show enough interest in activities that involve expressions. In the specific case of Dramatic Expression, this may be a tool that assists in understanding the elements of a narrative text and enables students to be themselves to play the roles of characters that are part of the story. This research has as goal to understand the importance of Dramatic Expression in understanding narrative texts and compare the results of comprehension of texts in the reading and interpretation activities with the activities, in addition to reading and interpretation, involving the dramatic representation of history. Thus, this research project was implemented during the 2nd year of Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and Training of the 1st cycle of basic education, more specifically in the Supervised Practice in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. Participants in this research were a group of 20 students belonging to a class of Year 4 of the Basic School João Roiz. In the matter of methodologies, the one considered the most relevant is a methodology of action inquiry, wherein the participant observation and reflection of what was observed was quite important. Besides participant observation were used other instruments, such as an inquiry, an interview with the teacher, field notes, recording a video and also a comment written by students about the influence of dramatization on the understanding of the second working text. Through analyzing the collected data, it is possible to understand that the students were highly motivated with drama activities, the history and pledged to play their roles as accurately as possible. It was also confirmed that the fact of students themselves play the role of each of the characters and are they to tell the story, contributes to understand certain aspects of history that they can not identify so easily by reading it, as for example, the space for action and the sequence of events. In short, Dramatic Expression is a very important tool for students to understand some aspects of the texts, which can not be interpreted by reading them.

This paper describes the determination of iron, copper, manganese and zinc in the soils, grapes and wines of the three viticultural regions of the Azores. Iron, copper and zinc were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry and manganese by graphite furnace atomic absorption. The concentrations of the four elements differed in soils of the three regions; there was no difference in the concentration in grapes, whereas significant differences were observed for the wines as regards the amounts of iron, manganese and zinc. The concentrations of these four elements in wine correspond with the mean values observed for other European regions.

The analysis of potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium was carried out in soils, grapes and wines of wine regions of the Azores in order to obtain a mineral profile of the principal major elements. It would be of interest to achieve a profile of these minerals, according to the climate, to the position of the Islands and to their volcanic soils. Determinations were carried out by atomic absorption in flame. A statistical analysis of the findings was performed. This study establishes the diversity of wine regions in the Azores. As a whole, the amounts in the wines are in the european average.
