A type of reduced graphene oxide (rGO)/SnIn4S8 (SIS) nanocomposites was successfully fabricated by a facile and efficient microwave-assisted method. Their morphology, structure, composition, and optical performance were investigated by different analytical techniques, respectively. The results indicated that rGO had an important effect on the structure of photocatalysts. As the content of rGO increases, the unchin-like microsphere structure of rGO/SIS evolved gradually into aggregated nanosheet structure. The photocatalytic degradation experiments were carried out under visible light irradiation. The results demonstrated rGO/SIS-2 nanocomposites exhibited higher photocatalytic activity toward the degradation of RhodamineB than that of SIS, rGO/SIS-1 as well as rGO/SIS-3. Meanwhile, the mineralization efficiency of Rhodamine B (RhB) can reach up to 73.8% within 30 min. Interestingly, rGO/SIS-2 nanocomposites exhibited excellent recycle stability with 96% removal efficiency of RhB after three cycles. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of rGO/SIS-2 nanocomposites should be attributed to the strong interaction of rGO and SIS, the decrease of band gap energy, the enhanced visible light absorption, and excellent electrons’ mobility of rGO, thereby promoting charge separation. Finally, the mechanism of rGO/SIS nanocomposites for the degradation of RhB has been also proposed. This work provides a facile and efficient pathway to prepare SIS-based nanocomposites with enhanced catalytic efficiency by combining the advantages of microwave-assisted heating and incorporating carbon-based nanomaterials for the degradation of organic pollutants in visible light irradiation.

For many years, the significance of cardiac lymphatic vessels was largely overlooked in clinical practice, with little consideration given to their role in the pathophysiology or treatment of cardiac diseases. However, recent research has brought renewed attention to these vessels, progressively illuminating their function and importance within the realm of cardiovascular science. Experimental studies, particularly those utilizing animal models of cardiac disease, have demonstrated a clear relationship between cardiac lymphatic vessels and both the pathogenesis and progression of these conditions. These findings have prompted a growing interest in potential therapeutic applications that specifically target the cardiac lymphatic system. Conversely, while clinical investigations into cardiac lymphatics remain limited, recent studies have begun to explore their identification through specific surface markers, as well as the expression dynamics of lymphangiogenic factors. These studies have increasingly highlighted associations of lymphatic dysfunction with inflammation and fibrosis, both of which negatively impact cardiac function and remodeling across various pathological states. Despite these advances, comprehensive reviews of the current knowledge regarding the cardiac lymphatic vasculature, particularly within specific disease contexts, remain scarce. This review aims to address this gap by providing a detailed synthesis of existing reports, encompassing both animal model research and studies on human clinical specimens, with a special focus on the role of cardiac lymphatic vessels in different disease states. In recent years, polyurethane has drawn great attention because of its many advantages in physical and chemical performance. In this work, firstly, polyurethane was impregnated in a non-woven fabric (NWF). Then, polyurethane-impregnated NWF was coagulated utilizing a wet phase inversion. Finally, after alkali treatment, microfiber non-woven fabrics with a porous polyurethane matrix (PNWF) were fabricated and used as substrates. SnIn4S8 (SIS) prepared by a microwave-assisted method was used as a photocatalyst and a novel SIS/PNWF substrate with multiple uses and highly efficient catalytic degradation ability under visible light was successfully fabricated. The surface morphology, chemical and crystal structures, optical performance, and wettability of SIS/PNWF substrates were observed. Subsequently, the photocatalytic performance of SIS/PNWF substrates was investigated by the decomposition of rhodamine B (RhB) under visible light irradiation. Compared with SIS/PNWF-2% (2%, the weight ratio of SIS and PNWF, same below), SIS/PNWF-5% as well as SIS/PNWF-15%, SIS/PNWF-10% substrates exhibited superior photocatalytic efficiency of 97% in 2 h. This may be due to the superior photocatalytic performance of SIS and the inherent hierarchical porous structure of PNWF substrates. Additionally, the hydrophobicity of SIS/PNWF substrates can enable them to float on the solution and further be applied on an open-water surface. Furthermore, tensile strength and recycle experiments demonstrated that SIS/PNWF substrates possessed superior mechanical strength and excellent recycle stability. A large size, sensitive response thermally expandable microspheres (TEMs) for suede‐like leather manufacture was prepared by suspension polymerization using acrylonitrile (AN), methyl methacrylate (MMA) and vinyl acetate (VAC) as the shell monomers and iso‐pentane as the foaming component. The effect of the interfacial tension and viscosity of polymerization system on the particle size of TEMs, and in turn, the effect of the particle size of TEMs on the expansion temperature, expansion ratio and thermal response performance were investigated in detail. The results showed that increasing the interface tension and viscosity of the polymerization system was beneficial for preparing large size TEMs. Under the optimized conditions of 300 rpm, 25 wt% iso‐pentane dosage, and 9:3:1 mass ratio of AN/MAA/VAC, the TEMs shown above 100 μm particle size and 4 times expansion ratio at 150°C. Moreover, TEMs with 18% encapsulation ratio (Er) of the foaming component can complete foaming in the narrow temperature range (ΔT ≤ 10°C), showing a sensitive thermal response. The mixture of waterborne polyurethane and quantitative TEMs was coated on the surface of synthetic leather base, and a new type of suede‐like leather was obtained after foaming, which can substitute genuine suede leather. In recent years, the types and quantities of polyurethane products have increased day by day. However, traditional petroleum-based water-based polyurethanes not only have the problem of difficult waste disposal, but also accelerate the depletion of petroleum materials. Herein, an eco-friendly polymer was successfully prepared by introducing tannic acid (TA) into castor oil-based waterborne polyurethane (WPU). The effects of the incorporation of TA, a bio-based material, on the particle size of the resulting polyurethane (PU) dispersion, and the thermal performance, mechanical properties, and hydrophobicity of PU membranes were systematically investigated. Finally, ATR-FTIR and SEM of cured films after degradation were measured to characterize the degradation ability of the membranes. It was found that the tensile strength of the samples is improved from 12.67 to 19.57 MPa with the TA content increasing from 0 to 1.5%, nevertheless their elongation at break declines from 306.51 to 237.12%. A noteworthy increase in the glass transition temperature (Tg) was exhibited by using DSC and DMA for the resulting PU films with increasing the TA content. Besides, the improvement in the water absorption of the blend films decreases from 14.5 to 10.2% according to the advantage of TA increasing the degree of cross-linking of the system. After 120 days of degradation, it can be seen that the urethane bond and the aliphatic ester bond played a vital role in the degradation process through the infrared of the degraded films. At the same time, the introduction of TA improves the degradation performance of WPU films. What is more, the application of WPU dispersions containing tannins on the leather surface shows excellent comprehensive performance, which means that WPU dispersions have potential applications as leather finishing agents. This work takes advantage of two kinds of bio-based materials, the mass of bio-based materials accounts for 57% of the total mass, which not only shortens the utilization of petroleum resources, but also effectively resolved the problem that poor quality of castor oil-based WPU and traditional waste is difficult to degrade, improving the commercial value of castor oil-based PU.
