Purpose: Although adolescent online behavior has become a research hotspot in recent years, most studies focus on the risks in online life, lacking research on positive phenomena online and even more so on the exploration of their internal mechanisms. This study explores the relationship between self-other overlap, empathy, moral identity, and adolescent online altruistic behavior, and discusses whether empathy and moral identity play a serial mediating role between self-other overlap and adolescent online altruistic behavior. Patients and Methods: This study conducted a questionnaire survey on 392 adolescents. Descriptive analysis and correlation analysis were performed using SPSS 23.0, and model construction and bias-adjusted bootstrap mediation effect testing were conducted using Mplus 8.3. Results: There were significant positive correlations between self-other overlap, empathy, moral identity and internet altruistic behavior (r=0.168~0.412, all p< 0.01). Self-other overlap can directly predict internet altruistic behavior, and can also indirectly predict internet altruistic behavior through chain mediating effects of empathy and moral identity. Conclusion: This study has discovered the internal mechanism by which self-other overlap affects online altruistic behavior, demonstrating that empathy and moral identity play a chain mediating role in this process. This finding can guide people to view the impact of network development more dialectically, calling for a focus on how to leverage the positive effects of the internet rather than simply blaming its negative impacts. Purpose: (1) To investigate the relationship between college students' parent–child attachment, external expression of anger, and bullying behavior; (2) To explore the mediating role of external expression of anger between parent–child attachment and bullying behavior. Methods: The Parent–Child Attachment Scale, State–Trait Anger Expression Inventory, and Bullying Participation Behavior Questionnaire were administered to 306 college students. Data collected were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 for common method bias tests, descriptive analysis, and correlation analysis. The mediation model was tested using the PROCESS macro program. Results: Parent–child attachment was significantly negatively correlated with external expression of anger and bullying behavior, while external expression of anger was positively correlated with bullying behavior. Additionally, the external expression of anger partially mediated the impact of parent–child attachment on bullying behavior. Conclusion: This study clarifies the relationship between parent–child attachment, external expression of anger, and bullying, emphasizing the indirect effect of parent–child attachment on individual bullying behavior through the external expression of anger. The study investigated the impact of negative life events on college students' problematic online gaming use, as well as the mediating role of basic psychological needs and anxiety, and the moderating effect of boredom proneness. A total of 1,102 college students were surveyed by using the Adolescent Negative Life Events Scale, Basic Psychological Needs Scale, GAD-7, DSM-5, and Boredom Proneness Scale. From the sample, 881 participants with experience in online gaming were selected for the study. The results showed that: (1) Controlling for gender and grade, negative life events significantly and positively predicted problematic online gaming use. (2) Basic psychological needs and anxiety played a mediating role in the relationship between negative life events and problematic online gaming use. (3) Boredom proneness significantly moderated the first half of the model. Basic psychological needs and anxiety mediate the relationship between negative life events and college students' problematic online gaming use. Moreover, under conditions of low boredom proneness, the independent mediating effect of basic psychological needs and the mediating effect of basic psychological needs and anxiety are enhanced, while the independent mediating effect of anxiety is weakened. Objective: To explore the relationship among boredom proneness, the behavioral inhibition system, and anxiety among college students based on variable-centered and person-centered analytic approaches., Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 1,102 college students from a university in Hebei Province using the Boredom Proneness Questionnaire (BPQ) for College Students, the Behavioral Inhibition System Scale (BIS), and the General Anxiety Disorder-7 scale (GAD-7)., Results: The results reveal that boredom proneness was negatively correlated with scores on the behavioral inhibition system ( r  = -0.100, p  < 0.01), and positively correlated with anxiety ( r  = 0.457, p  < 0.001), while the behavioral inhibition system was positively correlated with anxiety ( r  = 0.086, p  < 0.01). In the variable-centered analyses study, it was found that the behavioral inhibition system partially mediated the association between boredom proneness and anxiety. In the person-centered analyses study, three subtypes were identified: the high boredom-low inhibition group (9.35%), the moderate boredom-inhibition group (66.70%), and the low boredom-high inhibition group (23.95%).
