To improve the performance of thin film thermocouples for instantaneous temperature measurement on the surface of high temperature components of aeroengine， the indium tin oxide （ITO） thin films were prepared by DC magnetron sputtering. The microstructure of the thin film was regulated by the deposition temperature. The microstructure， surface morphology， thermoelectric properties and the bonding force of the films were characterized by X-ray diffractometer， scanning electron microscope， Seebeck tester and nanoscratch test， respectively. The results show that the deposition temperature directly determines the surface diffusion and growth capability of sputtering atoms， and carrier mobility of ITO， thereby improving their crystallinity and thermoelectric properties. The surface of the film presents a triangular grains morphology with a （400） preferred orientation at a deposition temperature of 450 ℃. Compared with the thin film sputtered at low temperature， it exhibits excellent crystallinity， with an interface bonding force of 10.89 mN. At the same time， the power factor of ITO significantly improves， with 400 μW/（m·K2） at 900 ℃ testing temperature， it shows good thermoelectric properties and high temperature stability.

Pt/Ir thin film thermocouples were prepared on the surface of the GH5188 special-shaped high temperature superalloy，and the thin film thermocouples were placed on the flame flow table to test the transient temperature of the surface of the special-shaped high temperature superalloy. After four cycles of high temperature and high-speed flame burning，the total test time reached 8700 s，the Pt/Ir thin film thermocouple can still obtain stable temperature data. The success of this test indicated that Pt/Ir thin film thermocouples have taken an important step towards engineering application. Aiming at the engineering application of thin film thermocouples，the project team investigated the thin film preparation technology，interface control，integrated preparation，signal and system，etc.，broke through 13 key technologies，and realized the engineering application of Pt/Ir thin film thermocouples. The breakthrough of this experiment makes China have the ability of temperature measurement under the condition of blade simulation service.

Zr3O-ZrC/graphene composite layer was directly in-situ grown on the surface of Zr foil by plasma heat treatment method. The microstructure and component of the as-prepared sample were systematically characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectrum and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The surface hardness was both characterized by micro hardness tester and nanoindentor. The results show that the composite layer was uniformly distributed on the surface of Zr foil. The surface hardness values of pure Zr foil and Zr/Zr3O-ZrC/graphene composite were 195 HV and 639 HV, respectively. The surface hardness of the TiC/graphene layer can be signi?cantly increased 3.2 times as that of the pure Zr foil surface. Nanoindentor results showed the signi?cantly improved surface hardness could be attributed to the Zr3O-ZrC layers. This study provides a particular heat treatment process for significant reinforcement of Zr and its alloys, and showing its great potential application for the future .

CdTe photoelectric material with one-dimensional nanostructure and Bi2Te3 thermoelectric material were successively grown on FTO substrate by magnetron sputtering method for forming FTO/CdTe/Bi2Te3 heterojunction thin film. Whereafter, a power device was prepared by processing Ag electrode. The property of the device with light and heat synergy response was characterized by the V-t curve, which was collected through the circuit and optical path design. With the time difference between light and heat response, the curve of voltage-time was collected under the different light source, electrode contact point and light illumination direction. Meanwhile, the phenomenon of light and heat synergy response was identified with the illumination intensity of halogen and xenon light changeable. The results show that the synergy of photoelectric material and thermoelectric material in a single cell of CdTe/Bi2Te3 heterojunction can realize the light and heat synergy response, and it is anticipated to harvest solar energy from a wider solar spectrum.

Thermochromic VO2 film was fabricated on quartz substrate through sputtering oxidation coupling method, and its optical properties were also investigated. Results show that the prepared VO2 film exhibits good thermo-optical switching performance under weak light irradiation, while large transmittance changes both in the visible and near-infrared light area. Under the condition of pulsed power laser irratiating, large optical modulation depth is also derived in the infra-red region. With the increase of pulsed laser energy, the scattering coefficient is gradually decreased, and the anti-laser irradiation ability is firstly appeared to have a decline trend after an initial ascent. The minimum transmittance value can reach to 7% and the laser damage threshold is about 50 mJ/cm2.

Selectors are considered some of the most significant devices applied to the integration of resistive random access memory (RRAM). Self‐compliance selectors promote the stability of one selector and one resistor (1S1R) cell to reduce additional compliance current circuits without compromising RRAM switching performance. Herein, a Ni/HfOx/Ni bipolar selector with special cluster microstructures is fabricated via a facial magnetron sputtering technology, which has self‐compliance (±12 μA) performance and ultrahigh voltage endurance (±10 V). To investigate the mechanism, theoretical models for the self‐compliance selectors are proposed. The results demonstrate that traps and special interfaces are formed through redox reactions. Resistive switching properties are caused by the trap‐to‐trap tunneling structure of the HfOx–NiOy layers. At the interfaces of HfOx–NiOy oxide layers, the tunneling current reaches a saturation state, leading to the self‐compliance phenomenon, which provides a theoretical and research foundation for the development of RRAM technology. The hydrogen embrittlement behaviour of 3Cr has been investigated under mixed H2 with CO2 at different strain rates, hydrogen partial pressures, and in the presence/absence of steam. The slow strain rate test results show that the HE susceptibility of 3Cr increased with increasing hydrogen partial pressure, and the plasticity of 3Cr obviously decreased in the presence of steam. The effect of strain rate was negligible in H2/CO2 environment but showed a significant difference in H2/CO2/steam environment. The fracture was a ductile fracture mode in N2 environment and a brittle fracture mode in H2/CO2/steam environment. The reason for the severe plasticity loss of 3Cr in H2/CO2/steam environment was probably that the steam has a preferential adsorption onto the 3Cr surface compared with H2 and CO2. Consequences in CO2 combined with H2O to form H2CO3, which accelerated the anodic dissolution of 3Cr, and the physical adsorption of H2 on steel was enhanced. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
