O principal objetivo dessa dissertação trabalho é ressaltar a importância do estudo sobre cultura organizacional na competitividade das organizações, conhecer como a cultura organizacional se desenvolve e se estabelece, identificar os tipos de cultura e os valores de uma organização que tornam-se um diferencial competitivo na gestão da produção. Para alicerçar essa análise na primeira parte desse trabalho faz-se uma revisão bibliográfica da evolução da cultura, de suas facetas e da evolução do conceito. Na segunda parte iniciou-se um trabalho mais empírico e mensurável, relacionando os elementos da cultura à gestão da produção, à área de recursos humanos como mediador da cultura organizacional e à estratégia a ser utilizada para atingir as medidas de desempenho. Para avaliar a influência da cultura organizacional na competitividade realizou-se um estudo de caso predominantemente qualitativo, que buscou identificar e validar as dimensões da cultura, relacionando-a com o desempenho organizacional. Para tanto foram realizadas entrevistas diretas com os responsáveis pelas áreas de gestão da produção, recursos humanos e com alguns funcionários da linha produtiva. Observou-se a importância de estudar e aprender a reconhecer a cultura organizacional, pois a compreensão de seus elementos tornou viável o relacionamento das formas de gestão e variáveis subjetivas como: eficiência, qualidade, motivação, com variáveis objetivas e quantificáveis: como produtividade,lucro, satisfação do trabalhador. Assim, estudar a cultura organizacional demonstrou o desafio a ser considerado e uma deficiência a ser suprida na gestão da produção. Observou-se que a cultura organizacional permeava a organização como um todo; envolvia estruturas, sistemas, estratégias, habilidades, estilos administrativos e os objetivos que a guiava. The main objective of this dissertation is to highlight the importance of the study of the organizational culture for the economical development of organizations. To know how the culture is developed, to identify the types of culture and the values of an organization are important for the creation of a competitive increment in the production administration. To give basis to this analysis in the first part of this dissertation it\'s done a bibliography revision about culture evolution, their facets and evolution about the concept. In the second part and empirical and measurement work was began to relate the culture elements with production management, with the human research like a mediator for the organizational culture and with a strategy to be use to archieve the performance measurement. To evaluate to the influence of the organizational culture for the competitiveness was realized a study predominate qualitative case, which aimed to understand how the culture is developed and to validate the culture dimensions, to relate with the performance measurement. Thus, were be realized direct interviews with the responsible for areas of production management, human research and to some production employees. It was observed the importance of studying, to learning and recognizing the organizational culture, because the understanding of their elements, made viable the relationship between the production management to the subjective variables like, efficiency, quality andmotivation, with objectives and amount variables like, productivity, profit and worker satisfaction. In this way, studying organizational culture proved the challenge will be considered and deficit to be supplied in the production management. It was observed that the organizational culture was present in the organization as a whole involved structure, systems, strategy, skills, administrative styles and objectives that guided them.

The growing participation of women in the entrepreneurship area enables envision a future in which both genders will act in this area in a equilibrium state. The realization of this possibility, considering the Brazilian economy scenario for the coming years, represents more than a particularly optimistic view, but a necessary event in the view of the growth requirement in the Brazilian economy. In this article have beentwofold: firstly, to know the entrepreneur's personal characteristics related to their origin, educational history, professional experience and personal life and secondly, the identification of parameters that describes the role of entrepreneurship women in small and medium enterprises. The working method was based on an exploratorydescriptive approach and multi-case studies and data analysis used the Big Five Personality Model methodology.During the research it became evident that the obstacles are many and seemingly insoluble. However, all the entrepreneurs interviewed showed a mark in common: determination to pursue goals, achieving goals and overcoming difficulties, but it is undeniable that the private life of the entrepreneurs was affected differently.

Strategic planning (SP) is undoubtedly an important tool for the management of municipalities, mainly due to the consequential regulations established by the Fiscal Responsibility Law, and also the City Statute, which exercise constant pressure on local governments. This study proposes to examine the importance of Municipal Strategic Planning (MSP) for regional development, and specifically as a means of correlating strategy and the results that shall be achieved. Therefore, we selected the city of Blumenau, SC, which adopted a growth strategy through capitalizing on touristic events based on its German tradition: Oktoberfest, held in the spring and Sommerfest in the summer. The field research adopted the procedure to explore, qualitatively, the case in question through interviews with those directly involved in the decision-making process, within the government and the authorities involved. The results indicate the success of the municipal government and Blumenau’s community in improving its touristic activities concerning the aforementioned events by incorporating an ample SP. In recent years, this collaboration has made an influential contribution to local development.

A concretização dessa possibilidade, considerando o cenário econômico brasileiro para os próximos anos, representaria mais do que uma perspectiva particularmente otimista, mas um acontecimento necessário, tendo em vista a exigência de crescimento da economia brasileira. Neste artigo têm-se dois objetivos: primeiro, conhecer as características pessoais de empreendedoras relacionadas à sua origem, trajetória educacional, experiência profissional e vida pessoal e, posteriormente, a identificação de parâmetros que descrevam o papel da mulher empreendedora nas pequenas e médias empresas. O método de trabalho baseou-se em uma abordagem exploratório-descritiva e estudos multicasos; e a análise dos dados utilizou a metodologia Big Five Personality Model. Durante a pesquisa realizada ficou evidente que os obstáculos são inúmeros e aparentemente insolúveis. No entanto, todas as empreendedoras entrevistadas mostraram uma marca em comum: determinação para perseguir objetivos, alcançar metas e superar dificuldades, mas é inegável que a vida particular das empreendedoras foi afetada de modo diferenciado.

O objetivo principal deste estudo foi avaliar o grau de intensidade com que as clínicas médicas privadas utilizam e combinam os componentes de seu marketing de relacionamento, sob as perspectivas de seus gerentes e também dos clientes externos. O setor de serviços de saúde privada é um dos que mais crescem no mundo em virtude da, entre outros fatores, maior disponibilidade de serviços de saúde domésticos. Tais interações indicam necessidades de estabelecer relacionamentos mais duradouros com os clientes. Para atender aos objetivos do estudo utilizou-se uma abordagem metodológica exploratória e descritiva. De forma a sustentar na literatura existente, optou-se por aplicar o modelo conceitual de Gordon (1998) que avalia o marketing de relacionamento por meio de oito componentes: cultura e valores; liderança; estratégia; estrutura; recursos humanos; tecnologia; conhecimento e percepção; e processos. Uma amostra de 40 clínicas localizadas em João Pessoa/PB, seus respectivos gerentes e 400 clientes foi utilizada. Os dados foram tratados de forma qualitativa e quantitativa por meio do Mann-Whitney, Análise RIDIT e estatística descritiva. Os resultados sugerem, entre outras coisas, que os componentes do marketing de relacionamento são utilizados moderadamente pelas clínicas médicas privadas. Entretanto, tanto as clínicas quanto os clientes reconhecem a importância da matéria na tentativa de estabelecer relacionamentos longitudinais com os clientes leais. DOI: 10.5585/remark.v8i1.2127, The aim of this study was to evaluate the degree of intensity with which private clinics use and combine the components of relationship marketing to improve its competitiveness, the perspectives of their managers and also external customers. The sector of private health services is one of the fastest growing in the world because, among other factors, of the increased availability of home health services. Such interactions indicate needs to establish lasting relationships with customers. In order to meet the objectives of the study, a methodological exploratory and descriptive approach was chosen. After reviewing the literature, we decided to apply the conceptual model of Gordon (1998) which assesses the relationship marketing through eight components: culture and values, leadership, strategy, structure, personnel, technology, knowledge and perception; and processes. We used a sample of 40 clinics with their managers and 400 customers. We used quantitative and qualitative methods, such as Mann-Whitney test, analysis RIDIT and descriptive statistics, in the analysis of the data collected. The results suggest, among other things, that the components of relationship marketing are used sparingly by private clinics. However, both clinics and customers acknowledge the importance of the matter in an attempt to establish longitudinal relationships with the loyal clients.

The main of this research was to verify disposal habits of users and the contribution of reverse logistics at post-consumer waste management of mobile equipment. The expansion of mobile sector in Brazil has grown the environmental impact through inappropriate waste of cell phones and its accessories. The Conselho Nacional do Meio Ambiente - CONAMA - published in 30th June, 2011 the resolution 257 that disciplines an appropriate environmental management through collection, reuse, recycling, treatment or last disposal. This study indicated that, although the majority of manufactures inform in their websites about appropriate disposal of batteries after consumption, orientation about cell phone and accessories waste disposal is not clear. One survey applied to university students revealed that the majority does not know appropriate locations for discard, stocks cell phones and wasted batteries at home within children’s reach, and received little information from the manufacturers. The results allowed to evaluate the impact of inappropriate mobile waste on environment and to indicate alternatives to reduce it as, for instance, more efficient direction from manufacturers and cell phone companies to the final customer.

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi verificar os hábitos de descarte dos usuários e a contribuição da logística reversa na gestão de resíduos pós-consumo de equipamentos de telefonia móvel. O crescimento do setor de telefonia móvel no Brasil tem aumentado o impacto ambiental pelo descarte inadequado de celulares e seus acessórios. O Conselho Nacional do Meio Ambiente – CONAMA – publicou, em 30 de junho de 1999, a Resolução 257, que visa disciplinar o gerenciamento ambientalmente adequado de pilhas e baterias usadas por meio da coleta, reutilização, reciclagem, tratamento ou disposição final. A pesquisa mostrou que, embora a maioria dos fabricantes informe nos respectivos sites na Internet sobre a forma de descarte das baterias pós-consumo, não é clara a orientação dada ao consumidor sobre o descarte do aparelho celular ou dos acessórios. Em reforço a esta constatação, o survey realizado com usuários universitários de São Paulo revelou que a grande maioria da amostra desconhece locais apropriados de descarte, estoca aparelhos e baterias sem uso em casa, muitas vezes dando para crianças brincarem, e recebeu pouca informação sobre o descarte por parte das operadoras e fabricantes. Estes resultados tornaram possível avaliar a importância do impacto ambiental causado pelo descarte inapropriado de aparelhos de telefonia móvel, bem como apontar alternativas para sua redução, como, por exemplo, uma comunicação mais eficiente por parte das fabricantes e operadoras, visando maior conscientização do consumidor.
