In order to study the tribological properties of V-shaped texture under oil lubrication conditions, the loading force and speed are selected as the influencing factors, each factor selected six levels. Experimental study on friction and wear of V-shaped texture with ring arrangement is finished by MMG-10 Multifunctional Friction and Wear Testing Machine, and the data of the experimental results are analyzed by using Matlab. The results show that there is a near linear relationship between the friction coefficient and the loading force and velocity. The relationship between the friction coefficient and the loading force and velocity can be expressed by a functional equation. The loading force has a greater influence on the friction coefficient than the speed. The SEM images of the post-test specimens show that the main weared zone of the V-shaped texture is the tip part. Create a single V-shaped texture model with Solidworks and use CFD to divide the mesh into the Fluent solution. According to the pressure distribution cloud diagram and the turbulence intensity cloud diagram, the stability of the oil film is improved due to the enhanced fluidity of the oil film and the small change in the oil pressure. The tip portion is also the region with a large turbulence intensity value. The improvement of the stability of the oil film is the key to reduce the friction coefficient of the V-shaped texture when the loading force increases.

The influence of the drawing area on the tribological properties was studied using femtosecond laser processing of four kinds of chevron pockets of cemented carbides with 5.05%, 9.5%, 13.02%, and 15.2% texture density. The results show that the chevron pattern texture with a certain texture density helps decrease the friction of a YT15 cemented carbide surface compared with un-textured specimens. This surface texture minimizes and stabilizes the friction coefficient, while the fluid dynamic pressure increased in the specimen with 9.5% texture density. Wear occurs due to abrasive and adhesive wear. Therefore, designing a reasonable shape and selecting appropriate texture density will be the focus of further research on surface micro-texture.

In order to study the influence of texture on the wear and lubrication performance of the surface of the tools, three kinds of textures with unidirectional convergence morphology were processed on the surface of the samples, and each texture was designed with different area occupancy ratios. Simulation analysis shows that, owing to the reflow and convection effect of liquid in the texture, the lubricating film flowing through the textured surface has a high hydrodynamic pressure value, and the semicircular ring texture is the most prominent. By comparing the friction coefficient, when the area occupancy ratio of texture on the surface is 10%, the surface of the samples with different morphology has the lowest coefficient of friction, the friction coefficient of the semicircular ring textured surface is especially very low. Surface textures reduce the direct contact area between the friction pairs, and generate dynamic pressure lubrication and secondary lubrication, so that the surface friction coefficient of the samples is obviously reduced. The surfaces of the non-textured samples have abrasive wear and contact fatigue wear, and the surfaces of the textured samples have adhesive wear, abrasive wear, and cavitation.
