Copyright information can be embedded directly into media files. However, few researchers have studied any possible contribution brought by watermarks in e-customer relationship building. Through a survey of 185 e-customers who had purchased multimedia products online, the hypothesised model was validated using LISREL. All hypotheses are supported. This study has contributed to both theory and practice by building a model to realise the e-customer relationship building in buying multimedia product and suggesting watermarks can help relationship building and retain e-customer to obtain multimedia products from legal channel. Two schemes have been suggested which are suitable for applying watermarking techniques in the e-market.

[Co.sub.0.8][Mn.sub.x][Fe.sub.2.2-x][O.sub.4] (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8) powders are prepared by a sol-gel process and annealed at different temperatures and magnetic and structural properties are measured. The decrease in coercivity ([H.sub.c]) is attributed to the content decrease in [Co.sup.2+] on B sites and increasing grain sizes at higher annealing temperature have an intensive influence on [H.sub.c].

The ferromagnetism (FM) in nonstoichiometric Ti[O.sub.2-[delta]] powders is studied. The results have shown that ferromagnetism in pure Ti[O.sub.2-[delta]] powders has come from oxygen vacancies.

Abstract: In this paper, the structure and magnetostriction of melt-spun Pr0.3Tb0.7Fe2B x (x =0–0.3) alloys are investigated. The result of X-ray diffraction shows that there are amorphous phase in all melt-spun samples before annealing, while all samples except B-free alloy crystallize into the REFe2 crystal structure with no evidence of any secondary phase after being annealed at 773K for 30min. It is found that the crystalline structure changes greatly though the melt-spun ribbons are annealed for only a few minutes. The saturation magnetization changes modestly with B concentration changing. The magnetostriction of bonded Pr0.3Tb0.7Fe2B x composites at 11kOe increases with B concentration increasing. Abstract: Magnetic properties of single-phase Pr0.1Tb0.3Dy0.6Fe2−x Mn x alloys have been investigated using X-ray diffraction, A.C. susceptibility, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer and standard strain gauge techniques. The lattice parameter increases and Curie temperature decreases with increasing Mn content. The magnetostriction of Pr0.1Tb0.3Dy0.6Fe2−x Mn x alloys exhibits the maximum value at x =0.10 in applied magnetic field. The magnetostriction of Pr0.1Tb0.3Dy0.6Fe1.9Mn0.1 alloy was measured under compressive stress up to 31MPa. The experimental results indicate the Pr0.1Tb0.3Dy0.6Fe1.9Mn0.1 alloy shows good magnetostrictive properties in low magnetic fields under the compressive stress of 2–16MPa. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In this paper, the magnetostriction of Ce x Tb1−x Fe2 compounds was investigated using a standard strain gauge technique, and the intrinsic magnetostriction of Ce x Tb1−x Fe2 compounds was derived from fitting the (440) peak of the X-ray diffraction pattern. It is found that the magnetostriction of Ce x Tb1−x Fe2 compounds decreases slowly with increasing Ce content at low Ce content, while decreases sharply at high Ce content. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the intrinsic magnetostriction decreases with the Ce concentration increasing in Ce x Tb1−x Fe2 compounds, and the Ce ion contributes to the magnetostriction.
