An ultra-high performance convergence chromatography (UPC2) method was developed to rapidly determine the residues and migration of seven isocyanate compounds in food composite packaging bags. The separation was performed on an ACQUITY UPC2 HSS C18 SB column using gradient elution with a mobile phase consisting of CO2 and methanol. The column temperature was 40 ℃, and the system back pressure was 13.10 MPa. The analytes were detected by a photo diode array (PDA) detector and quantified by an external standard method. The results showed that under the optimal conditions, baseline separation of the seven isocyanate compounds could be achieved within 2 min. The detection limits were in the range of 1.0–3.0 μg/kg, and the quantitation limits were in the ranged from 5.0 to 10.0 μg/kg. At spiked levels of 10, 125 and 625 μg/kg, the recoveries of the isocyanate compounds ranged from 85.1% to 108.4%, and the relative standard deviations (RSDs) ranged from 0.7% to 6.5%. The developed method was used to determine 40 batches of food composite packaging bag samples. Isocyanate compounds residues were found in 7 batches, among which the contents of TDI and DPI residues were relatively high, but no isocyanates were found to migrate from these positive samples. The establishment of this method can provide technical support for the determination of the residues and migration of isocyanate compounds in food composite packaging bags.

Ultra performance convergence chromatography (UPC2) was used to establish a rapid analytical method to determine nine acrylate compounds in plastic food contact materials simultaneously. The samples were extracted with methanol, filtered through an organic membrane, and separated on an ACQUITY UPC2 HSS C18 SB column with gradient elution using a mobile phase consisting of supercritical carbon dioxide and acetonitrile. The photodiode array (PDA) detector was set at 210 nm. Experimental results showed that under the optimal conditions (column temperature, 40 ℃; and back pressure, 13.79 MPa), qualitative and quantitative analysis of the nine acrylates was completed within 4 min. Linear ranges were 0.2–100 mg/L for phenyl methacrylate (PNMA), benzyl methacrylate (BZMA) and ethylene dimethacrylate (EDMA); 0.3–100 mg/L for methacrylic acid (MAA); 0.4–100 mg/L for butyl acrylate (BTA), hydroxyethyl methylacrylate (HEMA) and hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA); and 0.5–100 mg/L for isobutylmeth acrylate (IBMA) and benzyl acrylate (BZA). The determination coefficients (R2) of the standard curves for all acrylates were higher than 0.998 5, and recoveries obtained at high (30 mg/kg), middle (6 mg/kg) and low (0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 mg/kg) spiked concentrations ranged from 89.3% to 109.7%, with relative standard deviations of 0.62% to 3.86% (n = 6). The limits of detection (RSN ≥ 3) were 0.05–0.15 mg/kg, and the limits of quantification (RSN ≥ 10) were 0.2–0.5 mg/kg. The proposed method identified the risk of acrylate residues in 30 batches of actual samples.

Deep burns lead to extensive damage to the dermal layer, necessitating a longer treatment duration than typical skin injuries. Such burn wounds become more susceptible to drug‐resistant bacterial infections, thereby complicating and prolonging the therapeutic process. In this study, a unique spray composed of covalent metal hybrid‐linked organic frameworks (HLOF) material is developed that effectively eradicates methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) within 20 min by disrupting MRSA's surface electrons, destroying its cell membrane structure, and ultimately causing its demise with an impressive antibacterial rate of 96.7%. This HLOF material exhibited exceptional biological activity and stability. During the wound recovery procedure, HLOF promoted the expression of Vascular endothelial growthfactor(VEGF) to stimulate angiogenesis while inhibiting the proinflammatory factor Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF‐α) expression to eliminate inflammation and further enhance wound repair. This study presents an innovative approach for achieving outstanding antibacterial properties and improved biocompatibility through modifications made to common metal organic frameworks (MOFs), thus expanding their potential applications. Background: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. Programmed cell death (PCD), including PANoptosis and autophagy, plays roles in inflammation and immunity. This study aimed to investigate the molecular signature and immune landscape of the PANoptosis- and autophagy-related differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in UC. Methods: Analyzing UC dataset GSE206285 yielded DEGs. Differentially expressed PANoptosis- and autophagy-related genes were identified using DEGs and relevant gene collections. Functional and pathway enrichment analyses were conducted. A protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was established to identify hub genes. TRRUST database predicted transcription factors (TFs), pivotal miRNAs, and drugs interacting with hub genes. Immune infiltration analysis, UC-associated single-cell sequencing data analysis, and construction of a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network for hub genes were conducted. Machine learning identified key candidate genes, evaluated for diagnostic value via receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. A UC mice model verified expression of key candidate genes. Results: Identifying ten PANoptosis-related hub DEGs and four autophagy-related hub DEGs associated them with cell chemotaxis, wound healing and positive MAPK cascade regulation. Immune infiltration analysis revealed increased immunocyte infiltration in UC patients, with hub genes closely linked to various immune cell infiltrations. Machine learning identified five key candidate genes, TIMP1, TIMP2, TIMP3, IL6, and CCL2, with strong diagnostic performance. At the single-cell level, these genes exhibited high expression in inflammatory fibroblasts (IAFs). They showed significant expression differences in the colon mucosa of both UC patients and UC mice model. Conclusion: This study identified and validated novel molecular signatures associated with PANoptosis and autophagy in UC, potentially influencing immune dysregulation and wound healing, thus opening avenues for future research and therapeutic interventions.
