The Archivo General de Simancas in Valladolid has preserved a letter attributed to Arthur Tudor, categorized as 'declarándole su ardiente pasión amorosa' [declaring his ardent loving passion]. Its recipient has been thought to be Katherine of Aragon. The lack of scholarly interest in this letter is remarkable, but may be caused by its having been calendared in the nineteenth century as written by Perkin Warbeck. In what follows we unlock the mystery of the AGS letter by returning to its original Latin. We reveal that it very closely follows an exemplum from Francesco Negri's educational bestseller Ars Epistolandi, first published in 1488. Interestingly, Negri used the exemplum to show readers how not to write a letter, and categorized it as 'turpis', or, 'lewd'. We present here an edition with a translation of both the AGS letter and Negri's sample. Our evidence suggests that 'Arthur's letter' is not a declaration of love to send to a recipient, but a school exercise in line with Humanist training. As such, it may not provide a window to Arthur's passionate nature, but it does offer important insights into educational practices in the context of the Tudor court towards the end of the 15th century. We write this love letter to Black students, faculty, staff, executive leadership in higher education, and the surrounding community to center their/our Blackness. We want to acknowledge your frustration and anxiety. The “Dear” sections of this letter are written in raw language, specifically to Black people – acknowledging that it is ok to be pissed, fatigued, and not wanting to engage in performative anti-racist expressions of love for Black people. We do not want you to dismiss your own racial battle fatigue you have been coping with this summer. We hope through this letter you consider centering and recentering your wellness through this pandemic and the recent performative gestures of love for Blackness in academe. We were invited by JCSCORE’s Editor-in-Chief Cristobal Salinas Jr. to write this letter from the Editorial Board Members with the goal “to center and amplify Blackness in academia”.

How can Benjamin’s sensuous wanderings through Ibiza illuminate his commitment to the revolutionary mimetic potential of media? This article will follow Benjamin to a place where, for him, embodied experience and abstract theory seem to merge: the image sphere. Benjamin believed the image sphere to be a technological mode of perception capable of transforming the collective body through a process he called innervation. In an attempt to better know the image sphere, I will seek correspondences with other writings on images, intoxication, technology and the collective body, mimesis and island wanderings. The researcher conducted this study from January 1st to 20th May 2018 (140 days) to find out the effectiveness of the socialization of Tafsir Inspirasi Quran in the Social Media (Tafsir Inspirasi Quran in the social media has been in existence since 2012. This research was conducted by seven members of the KITAP team in Indonesia. Data collection methods such as interviews, observations and review of documents were used. There were three stages of analysis i.e.; media analysis, conversation analysis, and network analysis. Data analysis method was done by data reduction or data process, data presentation and conclusion. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of socialization through Tafsir Inspirasi in social media. Social media is often ridiculed by religious leaders, and some even forbid the use of social media altogether. This research aims to find out if socialization through Tafsir Inspirasi in the social media is effective. The conclusion was that the four principles of Quran: divinity, humanity, morality and moderation are found in the three stages of method analysis: media, conversation and network analysis. The article re-reads Werther's legendary love with Roland Barthes, Jacques Derrida and Jean-Luc Nancy. It discovers a constitutive dimension of address and (postal) transfer that not only shapes Werther's love, but also connects it to the often neglected form of the epistolary novel. Werther's love is not tragic, and it is not all about Lotte – it is postal. Writing and loving share the constitutive dimension of addressing 'the other': distance does not indicate love's failure; it turns out to be its productive principle. Werther's love is thus not a 'warning example,' not the moral message of a tale – it exhibits and affirms the way modern love works. Anticipating psychoanalytic insight, love does not take place between two specific human beings, but circulates in a complex system of shifting addressees. The readers become involved in this postal system: the epistolary novel also addresses this love to us. Will we really 'not be able to withhold [our] admiration and love' as the editor tells us at the very beginning of Werther's story? However – we seem to be the perfect match – as philo-logists...
