Abstract

The results of modeling and research of casting, rolling, and extrusion processes for producing wire from AleZr system alloys and determining its physical and mechanical properties have been presented. When implementing combined processes for processing aluminum alloys, the number of operations is significantly reduced, productivity and yield are increased. As a result of the conducted research, the influence of alloy preparation modes and their chemical composition on the physical, mechanical and electrical properties of longish semifinished products from AleZr system alloys obtained by combined rollingextrusion (CRE) and ingotless rolling-extrusion (IRE) methods were investigated. The simulation of the CRE process for one of these alloys of the system was carried out in the DEFORM 3D software package using data on its rheological properties obtained by the hot torsion method. Based on the modeling results, the optimal modes for conducting experimental studies were selected. The features of metal forming were experimentally studied, the temperature-velocity and technological parameters of combined processing were found, as well as the properties of cast billets, including those obtained using an electromagnetic mold (EMM). The results of experimental studies of the CRE and IRE processes suggest that it is possible to obtain longish deformed semifinished products from alloys AleZr system with a level of physical, mechanical and electrical properties that meet international standards. At all technological stages, including drawing, the structure of the metal was studied, and data on the physical and mechanical properties of hot-extruded rods and wire in cold-deformed and annealed states was obtained. The heat resistance of wire made from the investigated alloys was studied and it was found that after testing at a temperature of 280 °C and a holding time of 1 h, it satisfies the requirements of the AT3 type standard with a maximum permissible long-term operating temperature of 210 °C. Recommendations are given for industrial implementation; alloys containing 0.15e0.20% zirconium and 0.10e0.15% iron are recommended for the manufacture of AT1 type wire without heat treatment, as well as 0.25e0.30% Zr and 0.2e0.25% Fe for AT3 wire type with heat treatment. Abstract

The article presents the results of studies that make it possible to solve the problem of processing secondary waste from expensive aluminum alloys without irretrievable loss of metal. For this purpose, tasks were set and solved for the development of technological schemes for obtaining longish deformed semi-finished products from chip waste of AleMg alloys 01570 and 1580 alloyed with scandium using methods of powder metallurgy and metal forming. For their experimental verification, the operations of chip briquetting, combined rolling-extrusion (continuous extrusion), sectional rolling, hot extrusion and drawing in combination with heat treatment were applied. According to these schemes, semi-finished products in the form of rods and wires were obtained. Structure and mechanical properties were investigated. It has been revealed that when hot-extruded rods are obtained from chip briquettes of alloy 01570 on a vertical hydraulic press, even with significant degrees of deformation during extrusion, the margin of plastic properties is small and makes it possible to obtain a wire with a diameter of only 4.2 mm after drawing. The processing of briquettes from 1580 alloy chips using the combined rollingextrusion method makes it possible to obtain after cold deformation a wire with a diameter of up to 3 mm. At the same time, the influence of the annealing process on the structure and properties of deformed semi-finished products from the investigated alloys was studied. It is shown that due to the low plasticity of the investigated material cold working of the rods must be carried out with small degrees of deformation, alternating it with intermediate annealing according to the proposed regime. An analysis of the physical and mechanical properties of the wire obtained using combined processing showed that its strength and plastic properties are comparable to the properties of the wire obtained from a cast billet, and the structure is characterized by a high degree of elaboration and compactness. Thus, as a result of the research, technological schemes have been developed and processing parameters have been determined for the production of rods and wire from graded chip waste of alloys 01570 and 1580 using compaction, discrete and continuous extrusion, as well as cold drawing. New conditions for gold-silver-palladium-based alloy processing have been designed with the software based on the proprietory calculation techniques of deformation and power parameters of cold section rolling and drawing. Being successfully piloted, the conditions ensured improvement of jewelry production performance indicators.

21. Conceptual Model of DKT-1 Reservoir on Vakhitovskoe Field

Abstract

The Dkt-1 layer is restricted in "kolgal" formation. It is the unique geological object, because the terrigenous Dkt-1 layer is characterized by local distribution inside thick carbonate sediment. The resourse of this layer contain 60% of the whole field resourses. The operator gave a purpose to explain the differences of the exploration wells work. For example, there are two exploration wells located on 500 meters from injection well. There fore debits are 10 times deffer: 60 and 600 tons per day. 40% of wells are drilled in lithological unsuccessful area, that is why the relevancy of deep geological research is appear. The main purpose: increase of development effectiveness. The main aims: the detail correlation, prediction of reservoir distribution, analysis of development prosesses according to facial analysis. Originality: using the facial analysis in the stage of active development. The complex analysis of research – at first time data of core, logging, seismic and actual production history was complexed. The Vakhitovskoe field is distributed in Orenburg region. The layer under study – Dkt-1 – was formed at the late franian stage of Devonian system and represented by terrigenous sandy-gravel rock the total thicknes about 50 m. As a initial data was given information of 40 wells (8 of them with core, 220 meters), 3D seismic cube area 130 sq.km., more than 900 core samples with reservoir properties, actual production history from 2002. In a seismic section the Dkt-1 layer is represented by clinoform body downwarping to the north. The main geological feature of the layer is anomaly huge compartmentalization – it achieves 40 interlayers.
