This study is conducted to explain entrepreneurial support resources of firms based on social network theory in developing countries, the case of Vietnam. Partial Least Squares Structural Modeling (PLS-SEM) was conducted with a sample size of 220 entrepreneurs in SMEs. The results supported the positive link between formal and informal networks and entrepreneurial firm performance. Second, the study explored the partial mediating role of access to entrepreneurial resources between formal networks, informal networks, and entrepreneurial firm performance. In addition, the results also provide practical value to entrepreneurs in actively building relationship networking in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Finally, the study proposed some implications for entrepreneurs, limitations, and further research.

This paper is devoted to the existence of solutions and the multiplicity of positive solutions of an initial-boundary value problem for a nonlinear first-order differential system with nonlocal conditions. The main tool is the fixed-point theorem in which we construct the novel representation of the associated Green’s functions with useful properties and define a cone in the Banach space suitably. Some examples are also given to demonstrate the validity of the main results.

Hiding high utility and frequent itemset is the method used to preserve sensitive knowledge from being revealed by pattern mining process. Its goal is to remove sensitive high utility and frequent itemsets from a database before sharing it for data mining purposes while minimizing the side effects. The current methods succeed in the hiding goal but they cause high side effects. This paper proposes a novel algorithm, named HSUFIBL, that applies a heuristic for finding victim item based on the constrained intersection lattice theory. This algorithm specifies exactly the condition that allows the application of utility reduction or support reduction method, the victim item, and the victim transaction for the hiding process so that the process needs the fewest data modifications and gives the lowest number of lost non-sensitive itemsets. The experimental results indicate that the HSUFIBL algorithm achieves better performance than previous works in minimizing the side effect.

We consider problem (P) of Kirchhoff-Carrier type with nonlinear terms containing a finite number of unknown values u(η1, t), . . ., u(ηq, t) with 0 ⩽ η1 < η2 < . . . < ηq < 1. By applying the linearization method together with the Faedo-Galerkin method and the weak compact method, we first prove the existence and uniqueness of a local weak solution of problem (P). Next, we consider a specific case (Pq) of (P) in which the nonlinear term contains the sum Sq[u 2 ](t) = q −1 i=1 ∑q u 2 ((i − 1)/q, t). Under suitable conditions, we prove that the solution of (Pq) converges to the solution of the corresponding problem (P∞) as q → ∞ (in a certain sense), here (P∞) is defined by (Pq) in which Sq[u 2 ](t) is replaced by ʃ¹0 u 2 (y, t) dy. The proof is done by using the compactness lemma of Aubin-Lions and the method of continuity with a priori estimates. We end the paper with remarks related to similar problems. Ban Khoang is a mountainous commune in Sa Pa district located in the central part of Lao Cai province, Vietnam. Landslides occur frequently in this area and seriously affect the local living conditions. To help the local authority in developing a landslide disaster action plan, the statistical index method for landslide susceptibility mapping is applied. As the result, the landslide susceptibility zonation (LSZ) map was created. The LSZ map indicates that areas of low, moderate, high and very high landslide susceptibility zones are, respectively, 20.3 km2, 12.4 km2, 15.4 km2, and 5.2 km2; most of the observed landslide areas that are well predicted belong to high or very high landslide susceptibility classes. In detail, 80% observed landslide areas and 78.57% number of observed landslides were well predicted, and the area (AUC) under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve obtained 80.3%. Hence, the high and very high landslide susceptibility classes in the LSZ map can be considered highly believable, and the LSZ map will be reliable to use in the practice.

This research aims to define factors affecting tourists' decision to choose a homestay in Ben Tre Province based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative research was conducted through group discussions with experts. Quantitative research was conducted through direct interviews with tourists at homestay destinations in Ben Tre Province. The research results show that nine factors are affecting the decision to choose Homestay of the tourists in Ben Tre province, including (1) Accommodation and amenities, (2) Food and beverage, (3) Safety and Security, (4) Hospitality of homestay host and family members, (5) Homestay programs, (6) Natural resources and the environment, (7) Cultural heritage and livelihood, (8) Homestay operation and management, (9) Marketing communication and promotion. From the results, this research suggests some managerial implications to improve the decision to choose Homestay tourism of tourists in Ben Tre Province. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research article focuses on investigating the impact of technology readiness (TR) on the adoption of artificial intelligence (AD) by accountants and auditors, utilizing intermediary factors, such as perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease-of-use (PEOU), within companies in Vietnam. Based on 143 survey responses, the results demonstrate a positive relationship between TR and AI adoption among professionals in the accounting and auditing industry. Additionally, the analysis reveals that the intermediary factors PU and PEOU positively influence AI adoption. TR consistently relates with PU and PEOU in applying artificial intelligence in accounting and auditing. The result of the experiment study is that technology readiness positively impacts the AI adoption of accountants and auditors from companies in Vietnam. Hence, perceived usefulness and ease of use mediate the relationship between technology readiness and the adoption of AI technologies by workers in the accounting and auditing industry. This study contributes not only academically by enriching scientific knowledge on AI adoption but also holds practical significance by suggesting training and development policies from a business perspective in the future.
