Transition Metal Ions in Iodostannates: the Crystal Structures of [Co(en)3]4[Sn3I12]I2and $^{3}_{\infty}\rm [Co(en)_{4}SnI_{4}]$

Die Iodostannate (Me4N)$^1_\infty$[SnI3] (1), [Et3N–(CH2)4–NEt3]$^1_\infty$[SnI3]2(2), [EtMe2N–(CH2)2–NEtMe2]‐ $^1_\infty$[SnI3]2(3), [Me2HN–(CH2)2–NH–(CH2)2–NMe2H]$^1_\infty$[SnI3]2(4), [Et3N–(CH2)6–NEt3]$^1_\infty$[SnI3]2(5) und [Pr3N–(CH2)4–NPr3]‐ $^1_\infty$[SnI3]2· 2 DMF (6) unterscheiden sich bei gleicher Zusammensetzung der kettenförmigen $^1_\infty$[SnI3]–‐Anionen in der Koordination der SnII‐Zentralatome. Während in 1und 2die Sn‐Atome nahezu regulär oktaedrisch umgeben sind, findet in 3–6ein fast kontinuierlicher Übergang zur Fünffachkoordination in (Pr4N)$^1_\infty$[SnI3] (7) oder [Fe(dmf)6]$^1_\infty$[SnI3]2(8) statt.
