Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted various activities, including the operation of school and campus canteens. In response, innovative solutions are needed to ensure the continuation of the culinary business while keeping all stakeholders safe during the pandemic. This study proposes the development of IoT-integrated entrepreneurial lockers that enable cashless payments through QRIS. These lockers can be used to revive the culinary business in school and campus canteens that had to close due to the pandemic. The results of the study show that the use of these lockers can reduce physical contact during transactions, thus minimizing the risk of virus transmission. Overall, this research offers a practical solution for sustaining the canteen business in the face of the pandemic.

Abstract

Ransomware-related cyber-attacks have been on the rise over the last decade, disturbing organizations considerably. Developing new and better ways to detect this type of malware is necessary. This research applies dynamic analysis and machine learning to identify the ever-evolving ransomware signatures using selected dynamic features. Since most of the attributes are shared by diverse ransomware-affected samples, our study can be used for detecting current and even new variants of the threat. This research has the following objectives: (1) Execute experiments with encryptor and locker ransomware combined with goodware to generate JSON files with dynamic parameters using a sandbox. (2) Analyze and select the most relevant and non-redundant dynamic features for identifying encryptor and locker ransomware from goodware. (3) Generate and make public a dynamic features dataset that includes these selected parameters for samples of different artifacts. (4) Apply the dynamic feature dataset to obtain models with machine learning algorithms. Five platforms, 20 ransomware, and 20 goodware artifacts were evaluated. The final feature dataset is composed of 2000 registers of 50 characteristics each. This dataset allows for a machine learning detection with a 10-fold cross-evaluation with an average accuracy superior to 0.99 for gradient boosted regression trees, random forest, and neural networks. Abstract

Medication distribution service can be delivered based on a combination of home delivery and customer pickup. That is, medications are delivered either to customers' homes directly or to the pickup facilities (e.g. lockers) close to customers' homes. In Taiwan, there are more than 11,000 convenience stores that provide a 24-h service for customers to pick up the ordered items from e-commerce, which is unique to the world. In the medication distribution system, convenience stores can provide a unique opportunity for customers to more conveniently collect medications at stores, and also can reduce the operating cost for a logistics company providing the medication delivery service. Therefore, this work proposes a medication distribution system through convenience stores, lockers, and home delivery. Under this system, this work investigates how to simultaneously determine employment of convenience store chains, the convenience store locations to be visited, locations of lockers, vehicle routes for convenience stores and lockers, and vehicle routes for customers' homes, so that the total operating cost is minimized. This work further proposes a genetic algorithm to solve the medication distribution problem. Abstract

A última milha logística é uma das etapas mais caras e poluentes, assim para melhorar essa etapa surgem alternativas como a entrega de encomendas em lockers (armários inteligentes) que permite ao usuário o autoatendimento. O presente artigo busca identificar as dificuldades evidenciadas na literatura para estruturar o negócio de lockers na última milha. Foi conduzida uma revisão sistemática da literatura, com a definição de termos chave usados em uma expressão de busca nas bases de dados Scopus e Web of Science, obtendo 73 artigos analisados na discussão. Como resultado da análise foram identificados 19 fatores associados ao uso de lockers na entrega de última milha, que podem ser agrupados em 3 categorias de problemas: o processo de entrega, a rede de lockers e o comportamento do usuário. Essas categorias se relacionam sistematicamente e podem definir ou direcionar a estratégia das empresas que adotam a entrega em locker na última milha logística, tanto em termos de processo como de negócio. Trata-se de uma área relevante para as pessoas que necessitam das entregas como as empresas que querem que seus produtos cheguem em seus clientes indicaram, pois apresentam uma nova modalidade de entrega para clientes do e-commerce, e não dependem de alguém para receber ou entregar as encomendas, associando assim tecnologia a inovação em uma atividade essencial.

В бакалаврському дипломному проєкті було розроблено додаток для керування камерами схову, який має універсальний API для легкої інтеграції з онлайн магазинами. Цей додаток може керувати і відслідковувати дані про поштомати і камери схову, аналізувати дані та надсилати повідомлення у разі несправності. Також був розроблений десктопний додаток для клієнтів, що будуть використовувати поштомат. Ця програма буде запущена на термінал, що вмонтований в корпус камери схову. Цей додаток дозволяє клієнту легко отримати свою посилку, вміє збирати дані з датчиків та керувати механізмами замків контейнерів. Додаток розроблений з використання мови Dart і фреймворку Flutter. In this bachelor's diploma project was developed an application for managing storage cameras, which has a universal API for easy integration with online stores. This application can manage and track data on mailboxes and storage cameras, analyze data and send notifications in case of failure. A desktop application has also been developed for customers who will use the storage cameras. This program will run on terminals built into the storage chamber. This application allows you to easily get parcel for the customer, can collect data from sensors and control the mechanisms of container locks. Developed using the Dart language and Flutter framework.

In this proposed paper, an intelligent image capturing alarm system to protect locker was developed. Raspberry Pi 2 is used as the main controller (server). At the point when any conceivable intrusion is identified, a webcam installed to Raspberry Pi 2 will capture the picture of the intruder. In the meantime, the spotlight or light of the house which represented by an LED will be turned "ON" alongside an alarm sound from a buzzer which is fixed as an output. This study aims to illustrate the intricate connections that exist between features of a certain language and underlying culture-specific conceptualizations. The analysis sheds new light on a German cultural core value, namely, Ordnung "order," its relationship to other cultural themes, and the influence it exerts on German interpersonal style. To reach a better understanding of the German core value Ordnung "order" as it relates to other German cultural themes, we first provide an analysis of the common expressions alles (ist) in Ordnung "everything [is] in order" and Ordnung muss sein "there has to be order." This will be followed by an analysis of the social descriptor term locker "loose." We seek to illustrate the merits of a perspective in language and culture studies that is truly culture-internal and can thus facilitate cross-cultural understanding, and we do so by applying the principles of the Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM) approach to semantic and ethnopragmatic description. Não é fácil delimitar o conceito de vida privada, nem projetá-lo nas sociedades do passado. Entre as várias abordagens possíveis ao problema, colocam-se os modos de habitar como espaço privilegiado de análise dos comportamentos públicos e privados. O presente trabalho propõe-se abordar a questão a partir dos espaços domésticos e sua materialidade, sobretudo porque a existência de habitações coletivas permanentes ou semipermanentes destinadas a grupos alargados e heterogéneos de pessoas (casas senhoriais e palácios, hospitais, prisões e conventos ou recolhimentos) oferece um bom ponto de partida para compreender se, quando, e como as pessoas distinguiam entre público e privado. Nesse contexto, assume lugar de destaque a ubiquidade das fechaduras em portas e móveis, materializando interditos, mas também estabelecendo possibilidades de apropriação do espaço suscetíveis de possibilitar aos detentores das chaves respetivas alguma privacidade. It is not easy either to establish a clear line separating public from private, or to project it unto the past. Among the various approaches to this problem, this text analyses houses as privileged spaces to study private and public behaviour. The materiality of inhabited spaces often housing permanently or semi-permanently large and heterogeneous communities (stately homes and court residences, hospitals, prisons and convents or female retirement houses) offers a good starting point in order to understand if, when and how people distinguished between public and private. In this context, the ubiquity of lockers in doors and pieces of furniture assumes a particular importance, because they could either materialize prohibitions, or establish different possibilities of appropriating space likely to grant some possibilities of privacy to their holders.

Abstract

The goal of this research project was to examine the effectiveness of an automatic lock which might help hostel students secure their valuables and privacy by preventing their lockers from being broken into. This lock could be unlocked through a mobile app by embedding the device with a specifically designed system consisting of Arduino Uno, Bluetooth HC-06, and servomotor. Most students who stayed at school hostels had the experience of losing their locker keys due to misplacement, recklessness, and sometimes theft. This posed an issue for them as losing the physical keys might put their lockers at the risk of being broken into by anyone and it also made it difficult for them to retrieve their belongings. Hence, this project was developed in order to help hostel students avoid this type of incident. 20 students were involved in this study. They tested the innovation and rated their feedback on it. The findings showed that the device gained approval from the students. This indicated that this device has the potential to be introduced across schools and colleges in the state.

Abstract

A locker is used for the temporary storage of goods. This study implements a biometric locker using fingerprint recognition as a means of secure access to the locker for swimmers. The system captures the fingerprint of the user and requires a fingerprint match to reopen the locker door, ensuring that only the renter can open the locker door to remove its contents. This system eliminates the need for a key and increases security with regard to swimmers' belongings. Specifically, the implementation process and system recognition rate are examined in this study. Furthermore, an evaluation of use intention for lockers was used in this study for understanding the system's feasibility. Abstract

Objectives: The aim of the study was to provide an empirical test of the construct validity of the Oral Health Impact Profile as a measure of Locker’s conceptual model of oral health. Methods: A secondary analysis of data from the Ontario Study of Older Adults was carried out using structural equation modelling to assess the degree to which scale items measured the construct they were supposed to measure ( within-construct validity) and whether relations between constructs were as hypothesized by Locker’s model ( between-construct validity). Results: The findings indicated that the Oral Health Impact Profile as currently conceived does not have adequate within-construct validity. Scale items did not always measure the construct they were supposed to measure, some items within a construct were redundant, many measured more than one construct, and the scale did not represent seven separate constructs of oral health as originally devised. Following reconceptualization of the scale, the revised six-factor 22 item version was a better fit to the data. However, the scale did not have adequate between-construct validity. Conclusion: The present findings do not provide support for the conceptual basis of the Oral Health Impact Profile as a measure of Locker’s model of oral health. Despite the delicate question it regulates, the entrepreneurial capacity to go beyond the limits of fundamental rights, enshrining a private police power; however, it has not been the preferred subject by doctrinal studies. With this work we analyse the legal regime of this provision, its material scope and the requirements necessary to estimate the lawfulness of the registrations, as well as the possible consequences thereof., El art. 18 ET es uno de los preceptos que no ha sido alterado por ninguna de las múltiples reformas laborales desde su versión original de 1980. Pese a la delicada cuestión que regula, la capacidad empresarial para ir más allá de los límites de derechos fundamentales, consagrando un poder de policía privada; sin embargo no ha sido objeto preferente por los estudios doctrinales. Abstract

Ransomware zlonamjerni programi napravili su veliku štetu organizacijama, ali i pojedincima. Prema predviđanjima za 2016. godinu, ransomware će biti jedna od najvećih prijetnjā u ovoj godini ne samo za tvrtke nego i za pojedince. Dosadašnje iskustvo pokazalo je da su najčešći vektori napada iskorištavali korisničko neznanje, ali i neažuriranje programskih paketa na napadnutim računalima. U ovom su radu predstavljeni rezultati istraživanja na napadnutim sustavima, vektori napada, razlozi koji su doveli do zaraze te prijedlozi za poboljšanje zaštite od ove vrste zlonamjernih programa.

Abstract

Рассматривается интегрирующее устройство синхронизации (УС) с псевдоследящей фиксацией точек естественной коммутации напряжения сети. Устройство предназначено для вентильных преобразователей, работающих в условиях высокого уровня внешних помех и коммутационных искажений напряжения сети. Проведено моделирование УС и получены рекомендации по выбору соотношения частоты собственных автоколебаний развертывающего преобразователя и частоты напряжения сети. Показано, что устройство синхронизации обладает высокой помехоустойчивостью со стороны синхронизирующего канала, а также свойством адаптации к колебаниям амплитуды напряжения сети. Объяснены причины, по которым данный тип УС не рекомендуется использовать в системах управления с питанием от автономных источников электроснабжения, где «просадки» напряжения сети могут сопровождаться нестабильностью его частоты. Даны практические рекомендации по выбору параметров УС и рациональным областям его применения. The simulation of L is carried out and the recommendations at the choice of a relation of own autooscillations frequency of a sweep converter and frequency of supply-line voltage are obtained. Is shown, the locker has a high noise stability on the part of the synchronizing channel as well as proporty of adapting to oscillations of amplitude supply-line voltage. The reasons are explained on which the given type of L is not recommended to be used in control systems with power supply from autonomous sources where «downwards» of supply-line voltage can be accompanied by instability of its frequency. The practical recommendations at the choice of parameters of L and rational areas of its application are given. The pivotal role of the server application is verification identities of users. The sever application and the database are used as publishing API.
