This paper employs the paradigm of an innovation ecosystem to stimulate fashion innovation. This study applies an integrative literature review on fashion innovation, innovation ecosystem and policy-driven innovation, proposes a theoretical framework – fashion innovation ecosystem and streams future research directions. The findings suggest the innovation ecosystem is an inclusive, constructive and systematic lens and contribute to the management of fashion innovation. A mechanism of policy-driven fashion innovation is proposed to stress the role of government as a key actor in the fashion innovation ecosystem. It identifies five research directions from the theoretical framework of the fashion innovation ecosystem, namely fashion innovation measurement, research methodology, policy-driven fashion innovation, fashion sustainability innovation ecosystem and open innovation. The study contributes to the theoretical development of fashion innovation management and innovation ecosystem; has practical implications for innovation strategy in the fashion sector; will benefit policymakers in formulating policy and fostering the institutional environment. Technological advancements in transportation and telecommunications in the 1980s enabled firms to leverage resources from other countries to produce and sell goods in the global market. Research questions arising from institutional distance in the global supply chain context include the effect of regulatory distance between a focal firm and its supply base on the formation of the supply-base structure: Do firms that source from countries with similar institutional systems have lower supply chain risk? Institutional distance Institutional theory addresses how the regulatory, normative, and cultural-cognitive environment in which a firm operates can predict the firm's behavior (Scott, [50]), and how the institutional environment can shape firm behaviors (Powell & DiMaggio, [44]). Firms employing a cost leadership strategy source materials and products globally from locations with lower labor and production costs, and firms employing differentiation strategies seek specialized knowledge and natural resources from other countries to develop products with unique features. Managing safety has become increasingly important in global operations. Surprisingly, the literature provides limited clues on what influences future accident hazards after the happening of a recent minor operational incident (MOI) in an organization. We examine the impacts of internal context (direct MOI experience) and external context (indirect MOI experience) on a focal organization's future serious accident hazard. Using an archival incident dataset from the liner shipping industry and drawing upon normalized deviation and social contagion theory, we find that after a recent MOI in a focal organization, the direct (internal context) and indirect (contagion source) MOI experience "increase" the likelihood of accident hazard. Furthermore, within the indirect MOI experience, there is "no" differential impact between related (same type and same region) and unrelated experience, whereas within related experience, spatial (region) and social (type) proximity do not differ in influencing the chance of future serious accident hazard happening. This study reviewed 155 journal articles to examine how artificial intelligence techniques are being applied in textile coloration and related fields. Distribution of the reviewed articles was assessed in terms of the type of journals, year of publication, methods, and research background. Based on the citation network analysis method, an objective approach, CitNetExplorer and VOSviewer are used to identify the clusters. It is found that artificial intelligence techniques are mainly three‐layer artificial neural networks with different designs, which are mainly used in textile wastewater decolorisation fields, including wastewater treatment and colour fading, such as colour prediction and real‐time monitoring of textile wastewater, dye removal efficiency, and dye degradation. Based on an analysis of 253 related papers drawn from the Web of Science database, this study examines holistic sustainability research in liner shipping management literature using a citation network analysis (CNA) approach followed by a qualitative analysis of findings. We identify four major research domains, namely shipping performance, port selection and management, shipping markets, and environment, as well as related sub-domains of shipping performance. We discuss the current research trends and focal issues in these domains with a focus on their implications for policy development. Our results indicate that while the sustainability discourse in the literature has developed and matured significantly over the last decade, generating valuable insights for practitioners and regulators alike, it still struggles with blurry terminology and a lack of holistic frameworks jointly addressing the different aspects of sustainability: Economic considerations of liner shipping are still the main concern, while environmental and social issues are less regarded in the academic discourse. Furthermore, we identify a dearth of studies rooted in managerial or economic theory. In this regard, our study provides insights on the scope of the holistic sustainability discourse in liner shipping management, its contributions to theory and practice, and its implications for the further development of policies addressing sustainability in liner shipping management. We advocate further construct development for sustainability in liner shipping, as well as empirical tests of the antecedents of sustainability practice adoption in the industry for future research. Previous research has established a link between the debt component of capital structure and managers making risky decisions. Literature in finance and strategy has explored the role of debt and concluded that increases in debt focus managerial decision making on short‐term financial goals, suggesting that increases in debt might also lead to managers making decisions that put operational workers and the firm at long‐term risk. Therefore this research explores if the strategic choice of a firm's level of debt predicts the firm's likelihood of breaching safety regulations. Furthermore, this study explores the short‐ and long‐term financial implications of breaching safety regulations. Secondary safety and financial data collected in the United Kingdom is used to answer the research questions using logistic models and an event study. The results show that decisions on debt are a significant predictor of a firm's likelihood of breaching safety regulation and that breaching safety regulation harms long‐term financial performance. Strategic decisions on debt levels lead to further decisions that place the workforce and profitability of the firm at risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study reviewed 155 journal articles that examined the adverse effects of textile dyes on human health. The distribution of these articles was investigated in terms of journal type, year of publication, methodologies and research contexts. Based on the use of citation network analysis, an objective approach for identifying clusters of articles in the literature, three major research domains of textile dyes on human health issues were found, dermatological effect, toxicological effect and respiratory effect. Further investigation was done by conducting a Main Path Analysis of the articles to draw a map of knowledge structure within each research domain.
