Abstract

Comprehensive chemistry experiment is a compulsory course for college chemistry majors, which is in a connecting position in the curriculum system. In view of the shortcomings in the traditional comprehensive chemistry experiment teaching, this paper discusses the reform from the aspects of the selection of teaching content and the evaluation method of the innovative experiment course of teaching methods. On this basis, the students' comprehensive chemistry experiment literacy, innovation consciousness and comprehensive experiment ability are comprehensively cultivated. Abstract

Instrument analysis is a multi-disciplinary cross penetration and interrelated comprehensive course, which has strong theoretical, practical, developmental, and cutting-edge discipline characteristics. It is also one of the professional core courses of many specialties, such as applied chemistry, material chemistry, environmental science, environmental engineering, pharmaceutical engineering in applied undergraduate universities. The teaching reform of the instrument analysis course is significant for the training of high-quality applied talents. This paper puts forward the reform and exploration from course content, teaching method, teaching skill, and experimental training of instrument analysis to provide a reference for further improving the training quality of applied-oriented undergraduate universities. Physical chemistry is the main course of chemistry and chemical industry majors, and it is in the connecting position of the curriculum system. According to the characteristics of physical chemistry course, this paper tried to investigate on enhancing students' learning positivity through employing interactive teaching methods, building the overall framework of physical chemistry course, using multimedia to assist in teaching, and connecting theory with experiment and practice. Abstract

New engineering is the inevitable direction of higher engineering education reform in China. It is also a major choice for the development of environmental engineering specialty under the background of the new industrial revolution and new economic development. The practical teaching of environmental engineering is an important way to improve undergraduate experimental practical skills and cultivate scientific research interest, which is significant for the cultivating of high-quality applied talents. Under the background of new engineering, there are still some problems in the practical teaching of environmental engineering specialty in China, which need to be solved urgently. This paper first expounds on the problems existing in the practical teaching of environmental engineering and then puts forward the effective measures to construct the practical teaching innovative system of environmental engineering, to improve the effectiveness of practical teaching and the quality of applied talents. 38. Communities of soil macrofauna in green spaces of an urbanizing city at east China

Abstract

Evaluamos la diversidad de las comunidades de macrofauna del suelo que habitan los espacios verdes urbanos en la ciudad de Yancheng, una ciudad en proceso de urbanizacion situada al este de China. A fines de abril 2011, la riqueza taxonomica, abundancia y composicion de comunidades de macrofauna del suelo fueron evaluadas y comparadas entre cinco tipos de espacio verde (bosque de alamos, granja de colza, pastizal de parque, cesped y jardin vivero) y tres capas de profundidad del suelo, con resolucion taxonomica a nivel de orden. La riqueza taxonomica (de ordenes) y la abundancia fueron significativamente diferentes entre los espacios verdes. Los indices de diversidad (riqueza taxonomica R de Margalef y diversidad H' de Shannon-Weaver) fueron mayores en el bosque de alamos, pastizal de parque y jardin vivero que en la granja de la colza y el cesped. La riqueza taxonomica (Chao 2) mostro una tendencia similar. Hubo efectos significativos del tipo de espacio verde y capa del suelo, los cuales mostraron una interaccion significativa afectando la composicion de la macrofauna. Recomendamos que los espacios verdes urbanos se puedan utilizar para mantener la biodiversidad, y no solo con propositos de paisaje.

45. Comparative study of adsorption for m‐phenylenediamine in aqueous solution onto chemically modified resins.

Abstract

Four kinds of hypercrosslinked resins (acidic resins labeled SAMR and TAMR and heterocyclic resins IDLMR and PRLMR) were synthesized as adsorbents to remove m‐phenylenediamine (MPD) from aqueous solution comparably. The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller specific surface area and pore size distribution of the two types of resins have been compared, and the infrared spectra of the resins confirm the presence of the modified groups. The adsorption isotherms illustrate that the Freundlich equation fits more appropriately than the Langmuir equation or the Temkin equation. In addition, the kinetic curves indicate that the pseudo‐second‐order model is a better fit than the pseudo‐first‐order model. The thermodynamic studies show that the isosteric adsorption enthalpy changes (ΔH) and the Gibbs free energy change (ΔG) are both negative, revealing that all of the adsorption processes are spontaneous and exothermic. All of the modified resins exhibit the best adsorption capacity at pH = 6.24. The results show that the acidic resins have better adsorption of MPD. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym.
