Objective: This Bayesian network meta‐analysis was performed to analyze the associations between clinicopathological characteristics and BRAF mutations in ameloblastoma (AM) patients and to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy. Materials and Methods: Four electronic databases were searched from 2010 to 2024. The search terms used were specific to BRAF and AM. Observational studies or randomized controlled trials were considered eligible. The incidence of BRAF mutation and corresponding clinicopathological features in AM patients were subjected to Bayesian network analyses and diagnostic accuracy evaluation. Results: A total of 937 AM patients from 20 studies were included. The pooled prevalence of BRAF mutations in AM patients was 72%. According to the Bayesian network analysis, BRAF mutations are more likely to occur in younger (odds ratio [OR], 2.3; credible interval [CrI]: 1.2–4.5), mandible site (OR, 3.6; 95% CrI: 2.7–5.2), and unicystic (OR, 1.6; 95% CrI: 1.1–2.4) AM patients. Similarly, higher diagnostic accuracy was found in the younger, mandible, and unicystic AM groups. Conclusions: The incidence, risk, and diagnostic accuracy of BRAF mutation in AM were greater in younger patients, those with mandible involvement, and those with unicystic AM than in patients with other clinicopathological features. In situ produced 10Be and 26Al in fluvial terrace samples that have been repeatedly buried and exposed to the evolution process are difficult to separate using conventional methods. Based on prior experiments, 10Be in carbonate, iron-bearing mineral and 10Be produced in the atmosphere were separated by manual hand picking, magnetic separator sorting and acid washing methods, improving the procedure of purifying the quartz samples. The results show that anion exchange column, with a length of 9 cm and inner diameter of 1cm, matched 4 mol/L hydrofluoric acid leachate, can effectively separate B, Mg, Ca, Cr, Fe, Mn, Ni, Ti and Mn. The recoveries of Be and Al are 95.7% and 85.7%, resepectively. Be and Al can be separated by ion exchange very well which have recoveries up to 85%. The procedure blanks are 2.19×10-15 and 1.63×10-15 for 10Be/9Be and 26Al/27Al, respectively which are comparable with other labs. The exposure ages of Chengdu Plain alluvial elements are 76.36±9.51 ka for 10Be and 69.44±14.13 ka for 26Al, which provides a chronological basis for evaluating the structural features and activities of buried faults in the front of the Longmenshan.

Penetrating sacral injuries are very rare, but foreign bodies that penetrate the sacrum often cause pain, cerebrospinal fluid leakage, and neurological symptoms. Careful preoperative medical and imaging examinations, determining the position of the foreign body, and surgical exploration are essential in the management of such cases. We present the case of a woman who visited our emergency department with a broken sewing needle in her sacrum. The incident occurred when the patient accidentally sat on the needle while sewing by hand. Pain while sitting was the main clinical finding after the accident. The patient was treated successfully by surgical exploration aided by a permanent magnet. At follow-up a few months later, she was symptom-free. In clinical practice physicians often encounter patients with metallic foreign bodies. Permanent magnets play an important role in the removal of metallic foreign bodies, and emergency department physicians should master the methods and techniques.

In view of the serious problem of packet loss existed in transmitting audio and video streaming by use of wireless sensor network technology in coal mine underground,an Ethernet data unpacked/packed method based on FPGA was put forward,namely,an Ethernet data frame would be unpacked into several small packets for transmission at the sending end,while these small data packets would be repacked as an Ethernet data frame at the receiving end,and some processing to the lost or damaged data would be done.Finally,frame check sequence(FCS) of the received data frame will be(re-calculated.) The method makes use of the frame which losses part of the data effectively,improves utilization of effective data,and reduces impact on quality of the received audio and video streaming caused by the loss of audio and video stream data.
