Objective To compare the effectiveness and safety of one-lung ventilation and small tidal volume two-lung ventilation anesthesia methods in the training of minimally invasive thoracic surgery on experimental pigs. Methods Forty experimental pigs undergoing robotic thoracic surgery were randomly divided into two groups: two-lung ventilation group (n=20) and one-lung ventilation group (n=20). The two-lung ventilation group underwent single-lumen tracheal intubation, utilizing a small tidal volume with a fast respiratory rate combined with carbon dioxide pneumothorax for anesthesia ventilation during the operation. The one-lung ventilation group received one-lung ventilation using a double-lumen bronchial catheter placed under fiberoptic bronchoscopic guidance. The anesthesia implementation indexes from the two groups were compared, including the values of vital signs such as operative heart rate (HR), noninvasive mean blood pressure (MAP), end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO2), and oxygen saturation (SpO2), as well as the assessment of surgical training performance. Results The intubation success rate for animals in both groups was 100%, with no intraoperative deaths. The intubation completion time was significantly shorter in the two-lung ventilation group compared to the one-lung ventilation group (P < 0.001). Prefabricated buildings have become an effective way to sustainable development. At the same time, the process from component production to assembly also puts forward higher requirements for data between the subjects of each project. As a powerful database storage system, blockchain technology (BCT) can meet the needs of it, but the BCT has not been widely used. In addition, the Chinese government has issued a series of policy documents in recent years to promote smart digital technologies such as BCT, which have not been well implemented. Therefore, this paper analyzes the decision-making behavior mechanism of stakeholders and the factors that affect the implementation of BCT by establishing an asymmetric evolutionary game model. The model results reveal how to effectively promote the application of BCT in the supply chain of prefabricated buildings and help the government to stimulate the enthusiasm of other stakeholders to use BCT. General practice research focuses on a range of topics, such as patients' physical health and mental health, physicians' competencies and career motivation, quality of healthcare and physician-patient relationships and cooperation. However, these are not resolved well only using quantitative research which is still dominated in the field of general practice. In this case, qualitative method is often required, although it is considered to be subjective, and is mainly used to describe a phenomenon that is little known in a small sample. Mixed methods research, which incorporates qualitative and quantitative research and combines the advantages of both, can analyze specific problems more extensively and intensively, is suitable for studying complex problems, and for general practice research as an approach integrating clinical medicine and sociology. However, mixed methods research in general practice is still in its early phase in China, and the standardization of its design and implementation needs to be improved. For better elaborating the key points in the design and implementation of mixed methods research, we detailed a study using mixed methods, providing a reference for general practitioners to carry out mixed methods research.

Background Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome （OSAHS） is a sleep-related breathing disease，which influences patients' sleep quality and emotion regulation due to long-term intermittent hypoxemia and sleep fragmentation. It has a close relationship with cognitive function. Objective To explore the relationship of cognitive function with emotion and sleep architecture in patients with OSAHS. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted. Participants were 116 cases of OSAHS diagnosed by polysomnography（PSG） recruited from Sleep Medical Center，Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from September 2019 to December 2020. Clinical data were collected，including results of PSG and questionnaires before PSG〔including Generalized Anxiety Disorder（GAD-7），Patient Health Questionnaire-9（PHQ-9）， Montreal Cognitive Assessment（MoCA），Mean Memory and Executive Screening（MES），Insomnia Severity Index（ISI）， Epworth Sleepiness Scale（ESS）〕. The regenerative treatment of infectious vertical bone defects remains difficult and challenging today. Current clinical treatments are limited in their ability to control bacteria and infection, which is unfavorable for new bone formation and calls for a new type of material with excellent osteogenic and antibacterial properties. Here a multifunctional scaffold is synthesized that mimics natural bone nanostructures by incorporating silver nanowires into a hierarchical, intrafibrillar mineralized collagen matrix (IMC/AgNWs), to achieve the therapeutic goals of inhibiting bacterial activity and promoting infectious alveolar bone augmentation in rats and beagle dogs. An appropriate concentration of 0.5 mg mL−1 AgNWs is selected to balance biocompatibility and antibacterial properties. The achieved IMC/AgNWs exhibit a broad spectrum of antimicrobial properties against Gram‐negative Porphyromonas gingivalis and Gram‐positive Streptococcus mutans. When the IMC/AgNWs are cocultured with periodontal ligament stem cells, it possesses excellent osteoinductive activities under both non‐inflammatory and inflammatory conditions. By constructing a rat mandibular infected periodontal defect model, the IMC/AgNWs achieve a near‐complete healing through the canonical BMP/Smad signaling. Moreover, the IMC/AgNWs enhance vertical bone height and osseointegration in peri‐implantitis in beagle dogs, indicating the clinical translational potential of IMC/AgNWs for infectious vertical bone augmentation.
