We present two models of visual location memory developed within the ACT-R cognitive architecture and compare the model’s performance to that of human participants in a pattern reproduction task. The snapshot model has a fovea-peripheral based activation mechanism, which simulates how more attention and processing resources are giv-en to the centre of the visual field for short stimulus expo-sure trials (50ms and 200ms). For long exposure trials (>=1s), a chunking model was developed based on the snap-shot model by adding chunking processes which can encode geometric patterns. Both models can match the task response accuracy and pause data of human participants. The results of the modelling reveal that for the short stimulus exposure trials the accuracy of recall is affected by the distance between the object location and the fovea vision location. For trials with long stimulus exposure times, participants were likely to use salient geometric patterns to encode the configuration of discs

Circularly polarized long afterglow (CPLA) attracts great interests in multi‐disciplinary fields with significant potentials in optical multiplexing applications, but achieving full‐color and white CPLA is still challenging. The present contribution reports the first success in utilizing circularly polarized phosphorescence energy transfer (CPP‐ET) combined with chirality‐selective absorption (CSA) to construct full‐color and white CPLA materials. Blue CPLA with luminescence dissymmetry factor (glum) of 3×10−2 is firstly obtained via the CSA effect of chiral helical polyacetylene and blue ultralong afterglow of inorganic phosphor BP. Significantly, full‐color and white CPLA films are prepared by simply blending different fluorophores into the blue‐CPLA films via CPP‐ET. Benefited from the persistent luminescence of BP, the lifetimes of the fluorophores increase from nanoseconds to minutes, and ultralong full‐color CPLA emissions lasting for more than 20 min are realized with glum of 10−3. Also noticeably, chiral optoelectronic devices, multi‐dimension information encryption and chiral logic gate are developed based on the full‐color tunable CPLA‐active materials. Wearable sensing technologies have witnessed rapid development in recent years due to their accessibility, functionality, and affordability. However, heat accumulation and electromagnetic interference in electronic components adversely affect the sensing performance and seriously damage human health. Herein, cellulose nanofibers (CNFs)‐based composites with high thermal conductivity (TC) and excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding performance are prepared using CNFs as templates followed by coating with tannic acid non‐covalent and 3‐aminopropyltriethoxysilane covalent co‐modified graphene nanoplatelets (denoted as mGNPs) through a simple electrostatic self‐assembly method. The subsequent hot‐pressing process yield order and layer mGNPs in CNFs‐based composites with mGNPs distributed along the orientation and in close contact with CNFs, a fashion similar to the human nervous system. The resulting CNFs‐based composites reveal a high TC of 136.2 W/(m·K) and a superior EMI shielding effectiveness of 105 dB. Thus, they are used as wearable sensors based on the triboelectric effect to monitor human health in real‐time, as well as express emotion through Morse code. In sum, the proposed strategy provides an avenue to prolong the service life of flexible wearable sensors and ensure their safe use, promising for future wisdom in healthcare and smart robotics. The application effect of electrochemical method to enhance gas drainage in coal seam mainly depends on the rationality of engineering design and parameter selection. In this paper, the method of laboratory experiment is used to electrochemically modify the lean coal with H2SO4, Na2SO4 and NaOH. The gas adsorption and desorption characteristics of the coal samples before and after modification are tested. The changes of pore structure and surface group of the lean coal samples after modification are analyzed by the low temperature liquid nitrogen adsorption test and infrared spectrum test. The results show that the saturated adsorption capacity of the unmodified coal sample is 30.03 mL/g, the Langmuir pressure of the unmodified coal sample is 0.88 MPa, and the final desorption rate of unmodified coal sample is 83.20%; after the electrochemical modification of H2SO4, Na2SO4 and NaOH, the saturated adsorption capacity of the coal sample is 23.70 mL/g, 26.67 mL/g, 32.79 mL/g, respectively; the Langmuir pressure of the coal sample is 1.15 MPa, 1.05 MPa, 0.80 MPa, respectively, and the final desorption rate of coal sample is 90.10%, 87.84% and 81.71%, respectively; the lean coal after electrochemical modification of H2SO4 electrolyte has the smallest specific surface area, the largest average pore diameter and the largest number of oxygen functional groups, so the effect of inhibiting gas adsorption and strengthening gas desorption is the best.

Accurate forecasting of the stock market has always been a key concern of academics and investors, and few researchers have discussed the reliability of stock index forecasting in volatile and trending markets based on public sentiment. This article will first use Word2Vec and CNN to classify the sentiment of 754,000 text data excavated from the Oriental Fortune Stock Forum and construct public sentiment indicators; then, select characteristic parameters such as the closing value of the Shanghai Composite Index, the inflow of northbound funds, and the exchange rate of RMB against the US dollar. Introducing sentiment indicators and building an LSTM model to explore the effect of public sentiment factors on the prediction of the Shanghai Composite Index in the unilateral rise, unilateral fall, and volatile markets. The research shows that the reliability of using public sentiment to predict unilateral falling and volatile markets is high, especially the prediction error of predicting volatile markets is the smallest. In addition, it is also found that due to the existence of the 'disposition effect', the error is significantly larger when using public sentiment factors to predict the unilateral rising market.
