Abstract

Background: Colleges and universities are the important support of national scientific and technological innovation, and research productions are the comprehensive embodiment of their strength. How to mobilize the enthusiasm of researchers and create a good atmosphere for researchers have research value. Objective: On the premise of the bounded rationality of researchers, this paper first briefly describes some practical issues in the field of evaluation of scientific achievements, establishing two major research objects: researchers and scientific research management departments. Methods: : By using the evolutionary game theory, this study establishes a two-side evolutionary game model in combination with the factors that affect the decision of researchers, and it proves the preconditions for an evolutionarily stable strategy based on replication dynamic thought and the criterion of evolutionary stability strategy. Based on MATLAB GUI platform, this paper develops the numerical simulation system of research investment and reward strategy and realizes the quantitative processing of the theoretical model. Results: Firstly, the evolution speed of the researcher choosing high research investment and the scientific management department choosing high research reward strategy is related to the selection ratio of this strategy; then, there is hysteresis in both parties’ mastery of each other’s strategy information; finally, while optimizing the conditions for scientific research and punishing academic misconduct, the administrative departments should regularly adjust their assessment indicators to create a good atmosphere for scientific research Conclusion: This paper will further solve engineering problems in the field of scientific research management.

Abstract

Online product pricing is an important factor that affects the purchase of customers and the earnings of e‐commerce platform enterprises. It has an increasingly prominent influence on consumers' purchasing decisions. To study the influence of customers' anchoring psychology and product pricing on customers' purchasing behaviors, this paper proposes a pricing model that considers online consumers to be anchored by the product price and sales. The cognitive bias of online consumers is described by a utility function based on an anchoring‐adjustment heuristic, and consumer choice behavior and an online product pricing strategy are studied with a multinomial logit model. Then, it studies the influence of the anchoring point and anchoring degree on optimal pricing, sales and profit. In particular, when consumers are anchored only by sales of goods, the optimal solution is monotonic with respect to the anchoring degree. However, when consumers are anchored by both price and sales, both factors affect consumer behaviors and produce more complex results. This paper provides a flexible pricing mechanism for platform enterprises, and it can provide a theoretical basis and decision support for dynamic pricing of platform enterprises based on historical consumption data. 7. Pricing optimization of product line with value-added services considering consumer choice behavior

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe global economy is transitioning from product economy to service economy, and the optimization of product line with value-added services is one of the important issues faced by enterprises. Therefore, this paper studies the pricing optimization of product line with value-added services considering consumer choice behavior. First, we apply the multinomial logit (MNL) model to simulate consumer choice behavior, and establish a MNL-based product line pricing optimization model considering value-added services. Then, the optimal pricing strategies for products and services are solved for three different scenarios: single product with service, homogeneous products with services, and heterogeneous products with services. Finally, through numerical experiments, we analyze the changing trends of the optimal pricing, market share and profit of products line with value-added services with some impact factors, such as product quality, service level, consumer sensitivity, and number of products under three different scenarios. We also obtain some managerial implications when an enterprise develops product line with value-added service.

27. Product Line Optimization Considering Network Effects

Abstract

Products exhibit network effects when the utility a customer obtains from buying a product depends not only on its attributes but also on the sales of the same or similar products. In this article, we study product line optimization problem considering network effects. We first characterize consumer choice model considering network effects. Then we investigate the product line optimization problem under such model. In the homogeneous case with the same products, we find that the optimal choice probabilities and optimal prices may be different for each product. In the heterogeneous case with different products, there is at most one product that takes the “high” market share while all the other products take “low” market share. In particular, when only the network effects are heterogeneous, the larger the network effect, the lower the optimal pricing and the higher the market share. Through numerical experiment, finally, we demonstrate the importance of considering network effects and test the robustness of solutions.

Abstract

Isothermal thermal decomposition method was used to study the thermal behavior of the HMX-based PBX explosive JOL-1. The gas pressure versus time curves of the isothermal decomposition of JOL-1 were obtained within the temperature range of 90°C to 130°C. Kinetic parameters such as activation energy and frequency factor for the thermal decomposition of JOL-1 were obtained using the Arrhenius equation and model-fitting method. The model-fitting method further proved that the isothermal decomposition of JOL-1 at 90°C, 100°C, 110°C, 120°C, and 130°C is consistent with the No. 8 mechanism function, namely, the anti-Jander equation, controlled by 3D diffusion. The storage life of JOL-1 was estimated by the Semenov equation and the extent of reaction reached 0.1–0.4%. Results showed that the effective storage life of JOL-1 at 25°C, 40°C, and 60°C are 68 years, 10 years, 1 year, respectively, when the extent of reaction reached 0.1%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Bidding evaluation mechanism is a key factor on the fairness of bidding and resource allocation. In practices, grouped multi-attribute bidding evaluation is the popular mechanism. In this approach, we combine behavior operation management and experimental economics in order to optimize current mechanism. To study the bid evaluation behaviors of grouped referees, we describe the model of grouped multi-attribute auction at first. Then, the existent problems in current bid evaluation mechanism of two groups are discussed and analyzed. We will describe the design of role-playing experiment and the results of an experiment analyzing the referee experts' behavior. The data from the results of behavior experiment show that it is easy to generate the antagonism with two groups of referee experts, as long as there are strong negative correlations between attributes. To reduce the antagonistic feelings of two referee groups, three improvement measures are proposed finally.
