Search

Within the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model, a systematic investigation of the anticharmed-strange pentaquark system is performed using the resonance group method. The currently estimations predict three bound states with estimated masses to be 2886 MeV, 3039 MeV, and 3153 MeV, respectively. Additionally, three resonance states are identified in various scattering phase shifts processes. Among them, two resonance states $\Sigma D$ and $\Sigma^{\ast}D^{\ast}$ with quantum number $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ are detected in channels $ND_{s}^{\ast}$ and $ND$, and $\Sigma D^{\ast}$ and $\Lambda D$, with masses and decay widths of ($M_{R}=3053\sim3055$ MeV, $T_{total}=13.0\sim13.4$ MeV) and ($M_{R}=3389\sim3390$ MeV, $T_{total}=10.4$ MeV), respectively. In the $\Lambda D^{\ast}$ and $\Sigma D^{\ast}$ channels, a resonance state with quantum number $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ is discovered, with its mass and decay width being $3250\sim3252$ MeV and 4.4 MeV, respectively. These predicted pentaquark states have $\bar{c}snnn$ quark compositions, allowing them to be recognized as genuine pentaquark states. To validate these predictions, it is expected that upcoming experiments will further explore the predicted resonance and bound states in these possible decay channels.

We present OmniJARVIS, a novel Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model for open-world instruction-following agents in open-world Minecraft. Compared to prior works that either emit textual goals to separate controllers or produce the control command directly, OmniJARVIS seeks a different path to ensure both strong reasoning and efficient decision-making capabilities via unified tokenization of multimodal interaction data. First, we introduce a self-supervised approach to learn a behavior encoder that produces discretized tokens for behavior trajectories $\tau$ = {$o_0$, $a_0$, $\dots$} and an imitation learning (IL) policy decoder conditioned on these tokens. These additional behavior tokens will be augmented to the vocabulary of pretrained Multimodal Language Models (MLMs). With this encoder, we then pack long-term multimodal interactions involving task instructions, memories, thoughts, observations, textual responses, behavior trajectories, etc. into unified token sequences and model them with autoregressive transformers. Thanks to the semantically meaningful behavior tokens, the resulting VLA model, OmniJARVIS, can reason (by producing chain-of-thoughts), plan, answer questions, and act (by producing behavior tokens for the IL policy decoder). OmniJARVIS demonstrates excellent performances on a comprehensive collection of atomic, programmatic, and open-ended tasks in open-world Minecraft. Our analysis further unveils the crucial design principles in interaction data formation, unified tokenization, and its scaling potentials.

Inspired by that Belle\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} Collaboration recently reported $T_{cc}$, which can be interpreted as a molecular $DD^{*}$, we investigated the trihadron system of $T_{cc}$ partner with $IJ^{P}$=$01^{-}$ in the framework of a chiral quark model. It's widely accepted that the main component of $X(3872)$ contains the molecular $\bar{D}D^{*}$, while the main component of $D_{s0}^{*}(2317)$ is molecular $DK$. Based on these three well-known exotic states, $T_{cc} (DD^{*})$, $X(3872) (\bar{D}D^{*})$ and $D_{s0}^{*}(2317) (DK)$, we dynamically investigate $D^{*}DK$ and $DD^{*}\bar{D}$ systems at quark level to search for possible bound states. The results show that both of them are bound states, in which the binding energy of the molecular state $DD^*K$ is relatively small, only 0.8 MeV, while the binding energy of $DD^*\bar{D}$ is up to 1.9 MeV. According to the calculation results of the Root-square-mean distances, the spatial structure of the two systems shows obvious ($DD^*$)-($\bar{D}$/$K$) structure, in which $D$ is close to $D^*$ while $DD^*$ as a whole is relatively distant from the third hadron ($\bar{D}$/$K$), which are similar to the nucleon-electron structure. As a result, we strongly recommend that these bound states $DD^*\bar{D}$ and $DD^*K$ are searched for experimentally.

Inspired by the recent Altas and CMS experiments on the invariant mass spectrum of $J/\psi J/\psi$, we systematically study the $c\bar{c}c\bar{c}$ system of $J^{P}=0^{+}$. In the framework of chiral quark model, we have carried out bound-state calculation and resonance-state calculation respectively by using Real-scaling method. The results of bound-state calculation show that there are no bound states in the $c\bar{c}c\bar{c}$ with $0^{+}$ system. The resonance-state calculation shows that there are four possible stable resonances: $R(6920)$, $R(7000)$, $R(7080)$ and $R(7160)$. $R(6920)$ and $R(7160)$ are experimental candidates for $X(6900)$ and $X(7200)$, whose main decay channel is $J/\psi J/\psi$. It is important to note that the another major decay channel of $R(7160)$ is $\chi_{c0} \chi_{c0} $, and the $\chi_{c0} \chi_{c0} $ is also the main decay channel of $R(7000)$, $R(7080)$. Therefore, we propose to search experimentally for these two predicted resonances in the $\chi_{c0} \chi_{c0}$ invariant mass spectrum.

Since the quark model was put forward, theoretical researchers have always attached great importance to the study of hidden color channels (including color octets and diquark structure). Because of the influence of color Van der waals forces, the hidden color channel itself has strong attraction, which provides a dynamic mechanism for the formation of resonance state or bound state. In this paper, taking the $T_{cc}$ system as an example, under the framework of multi-Gaussian expansion method, a set of relatively complete color singlets (that is, the ground state of the color singlet plus its corresponding higher-order component) is used to replace the contribution of the color octet. Similarly, we endeavor to replace the diquark structure with a relatively complete set of molecular states, encompassing both the ground state and excited states. Our results demonstrate that the color octet structure can be effectively replaced by a set of relatively complete color singlet bases, while the diquark structure cannot be entirely substituted by an equivalently comprehensive set of molecular state bases.

Motivated by the LHCb Collaboration's observation of a doubly charmed tetraquark state $T_{cc}(3875)$, we systematically investigate the existence of doubly charmed pentaquark states using the resonating group method based on the QDCSM framework. The effective potential of the two involved hadrons and the bound state dynamics are included in the present work. Moreover, we have also calculated the scattering phase shifts of open channels by channel coupling to look for possible resonance states. Our estimations indicate that there is a bound state in $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$, with a mass of $4461.7$ MeV. Additionally, five resonance states can be obtained by coupling the open channel, which are $\Xi_{cc}\rho$ and $\Sigma_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$, $\Lambda_{c}D^{\ast}$ and $\Sigma_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ and $\Sigma_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$respectively. The existence of these predicted doubly charmed pentaquark states needs to be supported by experimental measurements and discoveries. A popular paradigm for offline Reinforcement Learning (RL) tasks is to first fit the offline trajectories to a sequence model, and then prompt the model for actions that lead to high expected return. In addition to obtaining accurate sequence models, this paper highlights that tractability, the ability to exactly and efficiently answer various probabilistic queries, plays an important role in offline RL. Specifically, due to the fundamental stochasticity from the offline data-collection policies and the environment dynamics, highly non-trivial conditional/constrained generation is required to elicit rewarding actions. it is still possible to approximate such queries, we observe that such crude estimates significantly undermine the benefits brought by expressive sequence models. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes Trifle (Tractable Inference for Offline RL), which leverages modern Tractable Probabilistic Models (TPMs) to bridge the gap between good sequence models and high expected returns at evaluation time. Empirically, Trifle achieves the most state-of-the-art scores in 9 Gym-MuJoCo benchmarks against strong baselines. Further, owing to its tractability, Trifle significantly outperforms prior approaches in stochastic environments and safe RL tasks (e.g. with action constraints) with minimum algorithmic modifications.

Inspired by the detection of $T_{cc}$ tetraquark state by LHCb Collaboration, we preform a systemical investigation of the low-lying doubly heavy charm tetraquark states with strangeness in the quark delocalization color screening model in the present work. Two kinds of configurations, the meson-meson configuration and diquark-antidiquark configuration, are considered in the calculation. Our estimations indicate that the coupled channel effects play important role in the multiquark system, and a bound state with $J^{P}=1^{+}$ and a resonance state with $J^{P}=0^{+}$ have been predicted. The mass of the bound state is evaluated to be $(3971\sim3975)$ MeV, while the mass and width of the resonance are determined to be $(4113\sim4114)$ MeV and $(14.3\sim 16.1)$ MeV, respectively., Comment: 12 pages, 4 figure, 7 tables

In this work we systematically calculate the pentaquark systems with quark contents $qqqq\bar{c}$ with the analyzed total spin and parity quantum numbers of $J^{P}=\frac{1}{2}^{-}$, $J^{P}=\frac{3}{2}^{-}$ and $J^{P}=\frac{5}{2}^{-}$, in the I=0, I=1 and I=2 isospin channels. The effective potentials between baryon and meson clusters are given, and the possible bound states are also investigated. Also, the study of the scattering process of the open channels is performed to look for possible resonance state. Probabilistic Circuits (PCs) are a general and unified computational framework for tractable probabilistic models that support efficient computation of various inference tasks (e.g., computing marginal probabilities). Towards enabling such reasoning capabilities in complex real-world tasks, Liu et al. (2022) propose to distill knowledge (through latent variable assignments) from less tractable but more expressive deep generative models. However, it is still unclear what factors make this distillation work well. In this paper, we theoretically and empirically discover that the performance of a PC can exceed that of its teacher model. Therefore, instead of performing distillation from the most expressive deep generative model, we study what properties the teacher model and the PC should have in order to achieve good distillation performance. This leads to a generic algorithmic improvement as well as other data-type-specific ones over the existing latent variable distillation pipeline. Empirically, we outperform SoTA TPMs by a large margin on challenging image modeling benchmarks. In particular, on ImageNet32, PCs achieve 4.06 bits-per-dimension, which is only 0.34 behind variational diffusion models (Kingma et al., 2021).

Inspired by the states $T_{c\bar{s}0}^{a}(2900)^{0}$ and $T_{c\bar{s}0}^{a}(2900)^{++}$ reported by the LHCb Collaboration, we carry out a systematical investigation of the charm-strange pentaquark system using resonance group method in the quark delocalization color screening model. The present results predict the existence of some bound states and resonance states with support from the study of the mass spectrum and the decay properties. Both $\Sigma_{c}^{\ast}K^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$ and $\Delta D_{s}^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$ are bounded by channel coupling calculation. Moreover, the resonance state $\Sigma_{c}K^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ and $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ are available in QDCSM, the masses and the total decay widths of which are ($R^{\prime}=3342\sim3346$ MeV, $\Gamma_{Total}=25.5$ MeV) and ($R^{\prime}=3333$ MeV, $\Gamma_{Total}=3.3$ MeV), respectively. In addition, the resonance state $\Delta D_{s}^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ is also obtained, the mass and the decay width of this state are 3343 MeV and 0.01 MeV, respectively. These predicted new exotic states may provide new ideas for experimental searches and we sincerely expect more experimental and theoretical research to verify and understand the charm-strange pentaquark states in the future.

Recently, Belle\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} Collaboration firstly reported a new resonance $\omega\chi_{bJ}$ in the processes of $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow \omega\chi_{bJ}$ at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=10.745$ GeV. Given the Born cross section similar with the previously reported $\Upsilon(10753)$, the new resonance $\omega\chi_{bJ}$ may have be $\Upsilon(10753)$. From the perspectives of traditional $\Upsilon(nS)$ meson and exotic tetraquark $b\bar{q}q\bar{b}$ state with the $J^{PC}$ = $1^{--}$, we tentatively investigate the $\Upsilon(10753)$ by solving Schr\"odinger equation in the framework of the chiral quark model. Numerical results for the meson show that the mass of $\Upsilon(5S)$ is up to 10.86 GeV and unsuitable for the candidate of $\Upsilon(10753)$. On the other hand, not only the two kinds of molecular structure ($b\bar{b}$-$q\bar{q}$, $b\bar{q}$-$q\bar{b}$) but also the \da~structure ($\bar{b}\bar{q}$-$qb$) are considered into our tetraquark calculation with the help of Gaussian expansion method. When a fully-channel coupling is performed using the real-scaling method (stabilization method), we get a stable resonance $^1R_{1}(10770)$ ( $^{2S+1}R_J$ ) with a great component of the diquark-antidiquark state. Combined with the mass and width of $^1R_{1}(10770)$, it may be a good candidate for experimental $\Upsilon(10753)$. Besides, several resonance states ranging from 10.82 GeV to 10.96 GeV are obtained, which are expected to be further verified in future experiments.

In the present work, the triply heavy tetraquarks states $QQ\bar{Q}\bar{q}$ with $Q=(c, b)$ and $q=(u, d, s)$ with all possible quantum numbers are systematically investigated in the framework of the chiral quark model with the resonance ground method. Two kinds of structures, including the meson-meson configuration (the color-singlet channels and the hidden-color channels) and the diquark-antidiquark configuration (the color sextet-antisextet and the color triplet-antitriplet), are considered. In the considered system, several bound states are obtained for the $cc\bar{c}\bar{q^{'}}$, $bb\bar{c}\bar{q^{'}}$ and $bc\bar{c}\bar{q}$ tetraquarks. From the present estimations, we find that the coupled channel effect is of great significance for forming the below thresholds tetraquark states, which are stable for strong decays.

Motivated by the recent discovery of the hidden charm exotic state with strangeness by the BESIII and LHCb Collaborations, we study the $S$ wave strange hidden bottom tetraquark in two kinds of quark models. Both meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark configurations are taken into account. The numerical results indicate that there is no bound state in both quark models. However, several resonance states have been predicted. Three resonance states with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(0^{+})$ are found, the energy ranges of which are $10479\sim 10550$, $10528\sim 10632$, and $10597\sim 10681$ MeV, respectively. Three resonance states with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(1^{+})$ are predicted to be located in $10491\sim 10675$, $10502\sim 10679$, and $10522\sim 10723$ MeV, respectively. Moreover, there also exist a resonance with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(2^{+})$ and the mass is estimated to be $10531\sim 10680$ MeV. All these predicted states in the present work should be accessible for the further experiments in LHCb

Inspired by the recent observation of $\chi_{c0}(3930)$, $X(4685)$ and $X(4630)$ by the LHCb Collaboration and some exotic resonances such as $X(4350)$, $X(4500)$, etc. by several experiment collaborations, the $cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark systems with $IJ^{P}=00^+$, $01^+$ and $02^+$ are systematically investigated in the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model(QDCSM). Two structures, the meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark structures, as well as the channel-coupling of all channels of these two configurations are considered in this work. The numerical results indicate that the molecular bound state $\bar{D}_{s}D_{s}$ with $IJ^{P}=00^+$ can be supposed to explain the $\chi_{c0}(3930)$. Besides, by using the stabilization method, several resonant states are obtained. There are four $IJ^{P}=00^{+}$ states around the resonance mass 4035 MeV, 4385 MeV, 4524 MeV, and 4632 MeV, respectively; one $IJ^{P}=01^{+}$ state around the resonance mass 4327 MeV; and two $IJ^{P}=02^{+}$ states around the resonance mass 4419 MeV and 4526 MeV, respectively. All of them are compact tetraquarks. Among these states, $X(4350)$, $X(4500)$ and $X(4700)$ can be explained as the compact tetraquark state with $IJ^{P}=00^{+}$, and the $X(4274)$ is possible to be a candidate of the compact tetraquark state with $IJ^{P}=01^{+}$. Inspired by the newly reported $Z_{cs}(3985)^{-}$ by the BESIII Collaboration, we systematically investigate the strange hidden-charm tetraquark systems $cs\bar{c}\bar{u}$ with two structures: meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark. Two quark models: the chiral quark model (ChQM) and the quark delocalization color screening model (QDCSM) are used here. Similar results are obtained in both two quark models. There is no any bound state in either ChQM or QDCSM, which excludes the molecular state explanation ($D_{s}D^{*}/D_{s}^{*}D/D_{s}^{*}D^{*}$) of the reported $Z_{cs}(3985)^{-}$. However, the effective potentials for the diquark-antidiquark $cs\bar{c}\bar{u}$ systems shows the possibility of some resonance states with mass range of $3916.5\sim 3964.6$ MeV for $IJ^{P}=\frac{1}{2} 0^{+}$, $4008.8\sim 4091.2$ MeV for $IJ^{P}=\frac{1}{2} 1^{+}$, $4246.8\sim 4418.1$ MeV for $IJ^{P}=\frac{1}{2} 2^{+}$. So the observed $Z_{cs}(3985)^{-}$ state is possible to be explained as a compact resonance state composed of $cs\bar{c}\bar{u}$ with $IJ^{P}=\frac{1}{2} 0^{+}$ or $IJ^{P}=\frac{1}{2} 1^{+}$. We conduct a dynamical calculation of pentaquark systems with quark contents $sssu\bar{u}$ in the framework of two quark models: the chiral quark model(ChQM) and quark delocalization color screening model(QDCSM). The effective potentials between baryon and meson clusters are given, and the possible bound states are also investigated. Besides, the study of the scattering process of the open channels is also performed to look for any resonance state. The results show that the $\Omega(2012)$ is not suitable for the interpretation as a $\Xi^{*} \bar{K}$ molecular state in present quark models. Two resonance states: the $\Xi^{*}\bar{K}^{*}$ with $IJ^{P}=0\frac{3}{2}^{-}$ ($M=2328\sim2374$ MeV, $\Gamma=57\sim65.5$ MeV) and $IJ^{P}=1\frac{3}{2}^{-}$ ($M=2341\sim2386$ MeV, $\Gamma=31.5\sim100$ MeV) are obtained in both QDCSM and ChQM, which indicates that both of these two states are more possible to be existed and worthy of being searched by future experiments., Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures

A dynamical calculation of the strange hidden charm pentaquark systems $\Lambda_{c\bar{c}}$ is performed in the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model. The effective potentials between two clusters are calculated to investigate the interaction between the baryons and mesons. The dynamic calculations indicate that the strange hidden charm pentaquark system with $IJ^{P}=0\frac{1}{2}^{-}$ and $IJ^{P}=0\frac{3}{2}^{-}$ can form bound states with the help of the channel-coupling. The energies of these two system are 4094.3 MeV and 4207.4 Mev, respectively. These two $\Lambda_{c\bar{c}}$ states are possible to be intriguing pentaquark candidates which are worth searching in experiments. A dynamical calculation of pentaquark systems with quark contents $uudd\bar{s}$ is performed in the framework of quark delocalization color screening model with the help of resonating group method. The effective potentials between baryon and meson clusters are given, and the possible bound states or resonances are investigated. Motivated by the very recent observations of hidden charm pentaquarks $P_c(4312)^+$, $P_c(4440)^+$ and $P_c(4457)^+$ of the LHCb Collaboration, we systematically study the spectra of the doubly-heavy (with or without charm/bottom numbers) pentaquarks and tetraquarks in non-relativistic constituent quark model. The model independent variational method is employed to solve the Schr\"odinger equation, where the test functions adopted are symmetric for the light quarks. In our study, the $P_c(4312)^+$ may be assigned as the ground state with spin-parity $\frac{1}{2}^-$ or $\frac{3}{2}^-$, while the $P_c(4440)^+$ and $P_c(4457)^+$ may be assigned as the excited states with $\frac{1}{2}^-$, which might all belong to the sextet with $s_{c\bar{c}}=1$ and $s_\ell=\frac{3}{2}$. It is notable that our working framework is quite similar to that of Hydrogen molecule, but with different potential structure. We also classify these pentaquarks and tetraquarks in light of the heavy quark symmetry and their decay properties are analyzed. In the framework of the chiral quark model, we investigate the hidden strange pentaquark system of the $N\phi$ state with the quantum numbers of IJ=$\frac{1}{2}$$\frac{3}{2}$. The results show that the $N\phi$ state can be bound through the interaction of the $\sigma$ meson exchange plus the effect of the channel coupling, which means that the effect of the channel coupling has an influence on the existence of this bound state., Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure

Context of data points, which is usually defined as the other data points in a data set, has been found to play important roles in data representation and classification. In this paper, we study the problem of using context of a data point for its classification problem. Our work is inspired by the observation that actually only very few data points are critical in the context of a data point for its representation and classification. We propose to represent a data point as the sparse linear combination of its context, and learn the sparse context in a supervised way to increase its discriminative ability. To this end, we proposed a novel formulation for context learning, by modeling the learning of context parameter and classifier in a unified objective, and optimizing it with an alternative strategy in an iterative algorithm. Sparse coding (Sc) has been studied very well as a powerful data representation method. It attempts to represent the feature vector of a data sample by reconstructing it as the sparse linear combination of some basic elements, and a $L_2$ norm distance function is usually used as the loss function for the reconstruction error. In this paper, we investigate using Sc as the representation method within multi-instance learning framework, where a sample is given as a bag of instances, and further represented as a histogram of the quantized instances. We argue that for the data type of histogram, using $L_2$ norm distance is not suitable, and propose to use the earth mover's distance (EMD) instead of $L_2$ norm distance as a measure of the reconstruction error. By minimizing the EMD between the histogram of a sample and the its reconstruction from some basic histograms, a novel sparse coding method is developed, which is refereed as SC-EMD. We evaluate its performances as a histogram representation method in tow multi-instance learning problems --- abnormal image detection in wireless capsule endoscopy videos, and protein binding site retrieval. The encouraging results demonstrate the advantages of the new method over the traditional method using $L_2$ norm distance.
