5. Robustness Analysis of UAV Swarm Communication System Based on Interdependent Network

Abstract

As the main equipment for earthquake disaster rescue and reconnaissance battlefield, the robustness of UAV swarm communication system is an important index of destruction resistance. In this paper, we model the UAV swarm communication system with the help of complex dependency network theory, introduce the relative network effectiveness ratio as an index of the overall robustness of the communication system network, which accurately reflects the interdependence between nodes, and provides a new perspective for evaluating the robustness of the communication system under the target attack. A new perspective is provided for assessing the robustness of communication systems under target attack. Based on the classical M-L model and the load redistribution strategy with dynamic information, we establish the dependent homogeneous ER-ER and heterogeneous ER-BA network models, consider the characteristics of the degree of dependent nodes in the two-layer network for target attack, and analyze the dynamic process of their cascading failure under the attack, as well as the influence of the characteristic parameters, such as the probability of connecting edges of any two nodes, the average degree and the capacity coefficient, on the overall robustness of the communication network. It is shown that network robustness and network dependency strength are negatively correlated, and a reduction of 52.09% to 72.9% dependency strength can be considered in the cascade failure process to resist more serious communication network collapse. For isomorphic networks, the difference in dependency patterns has a greater impact by reducing the overall robustness of RL and AL compared to DL by 9.25% and 15.95%, respectively.

23. The Evaluation of the Cognitive and Language Abilities of Autistic Children with Interactive Game Technology Based on the PEP-3 Scale

Abstract

Evaluation is crucial in the treatment of autistic children. The Psychoeducational Profile--Third Edition (PEP-3) is a standardized scale used to evaluate the development of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, as a traditional scale, the PEP-3 relies highly on the experience of the evaluator, and the evaluation process is complicated and time-consuming. Therefore, based on the PEP-3, this study aimed to use touchscreen and speech recognition technology to develop a set of human-computer interaction (HCI) games for the evaluation of the cognitive and language abilities of children with ASD. The study consisted of three parts: construct evaluation of the items and games, calibration and validation of the games, and cross-validation of the games. A total of 45 ASD children were recruited. They were divided into two groups: the calibration/validation group and the cross-validation group. The calibration/validation group was used to test the feasibility of the evaluation games. The cross-validation group was used to validate the effectiveness of the evaluation games. The results showed (1) the HCI evaluation games were a supportive tool to evaluate the cognitive and language ability of children with ASD; (2) there was a high agreement between the HCI evaluation games and the PEP-3, and the evaluation based on the HCI evaluation games reflected the evaluation results of the PEP-3; and (3) compared to the PEP-3, the HCI evaluation games saved time and were objective and attractive. Overall, our findings demonstrated that the HCI evaluation games were an effective means for evaluation and encourage future work in exploring technology-based methods for evaluating children with ASD.

38. Design and evaluation of intelligent teaching system on basic movements in PE

Abstract

For a long time, the situation of students’ learning in physical education (PE) was not optimistic, especially the basic movement learning after class, which lacked effective online learning tools. With the in-depth research of deep neural network and the rapid development of computer hardware, the artificial intelligence technology based on deep learning has performed well in the field of basic teaching. Therefore, in this paper, an intelligent teaching system of basic movements in PE is designed. First, the information of coordinate points is collected according to the Gaussian model, and the pose of students is estimated by OpenPose. Second, the overall architecture and functional modules of the system are designed. Finally, the deviation limbs that affect the standard of overall movements are identified by the matching algorithm, which realises the evaluation and feedback of basic movements in PE. Through this teaching system, teachers can obtain the learning situation of students’ movements, and students can adjust their movements through the feedback, which achieves the convenient interaction of PE teaching.
