Search

We propose a novel method to identify the two-pole structure of the $\Lambda(1405)$. The two poles owe their origin to different quark flavor irreducible representations in the meson-baryon coupled-channel interactions, thus they should be individually manifested in reactions that provide good flavor eigenstate sources. Hadronic decays of charmonia into $\bar{\Lambda}\Sigma\pi$ and $\bar{\Lambda}(1520)\Sigma\pi$ are such reactions, and the flavor octet and singlet poles can be approximately singled out in these two decay modes. This SU(3) flavor filter works even considering the flavor symmetry breaking. With the huge charmonium data sets collected, it is therefore promising to solve the long-standing $\Lambda(1405)$ puzzle employing the proposed flavor filter., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures

We investigated the pionic transitions between the $X_2$ [spin-2 partner of the $X(3872)$] and $\chi_{c1,2}$ using a nonrelativistic effective field theory. The $X_2$ is assumed to be a bound state of the $D^{*}$ and $\bar{D}^*$ mesons and to decay through several kinds of loops, including the bubble, triangle and box loops. Within the present model, the widths for the single-pion decays $X_2\to\pi^0\chi_{cJ}$ are predicted to be about $3$--$30$ keV. For the dipion decays, the widths are a few keVs. These widths yield a branching fraction of $10^{-3}$--$10^{-2}$. The ratio $R_{\mathrm{c}0}=\Gamma (X_2\to\pi^+\pi^-\chi_{cJ})/\Gamma (X_2\to\pi^0\pi^0\chi_{cJ}) \simeq 1.6$, which is a bit smaller than the expected value of $2$, and $R_{21}=\Gamma (X_2\to\pi\pi\chi_{c2})/\Gamma (X_2\to\pi\pi\chi_{c1}) \simeq 0.85$. These ratios are nearly independent of the $X_2$ mass and the coupling constants, which might be a good quantity for the experiments. Moreover, the invariant mass spectra of the $\pi^0\chi_{cJ}$ final state for the dipion processes are presented, showing a cusp structure at the $D {\bar D}^*$ threshold enhanced and narrowed by the nearby triangle singularity., Comment: 12 pages, 9 figure, Comments welcome

We investigate the weak decays of the triply heavy baryon $\Omega_{QQQ}$ in the light-front quark model. Since $\Omega_{QQQ}$ consists of three indistinguishable identical heavy quarks, the commonly adopted quark-diquark picture does not seem to be valid anymore. Instead, we employ the three-quark picture for baryons where the three quarks are regarded as individual quarks. We calculate the hadronic form factors for the transitions and give predictions for the decay widths of the semi-leptonic decay modes $\Omega_{ccc}\to \Xi_{cc}/ \Omega_{cc}+ l\bar{\nu}_l$, $\Omega_{bbb}\to \Xi _{bb}+ l \bar{\nu}_l$ and the non-leptonic decay modes $\Omega_{ccc}\to \Xi_{cc}/\Omega_{cc}+ M$, $\Omega_{bbb}\to \Xi_{bb}+ M$. Heavy ion collisions provide a unique opportunity for studying the properties of exotic hadrons with two charm quarks. The production of $T_{cc}^+$ is significantly enhanced in nuclear collisions compared to proton-proton collisions due to the creation of multiple charm pairs. In this study, we employ the Langevin equation in combination with the Instantaneous Coalescence Model (LICM) to investigate the production of $T_{cc}^+$ and $\Xi_{cc}^{++}$ which consists of two charm quarks. We consider $T_{cc}^+$ as molecular states composed of $D$ and $D^*$ mesons. The Langevin equation is used to calculate the energy loss of charm quarks and $D$ mesons in the hot medium. The hadronization process, where charm quarks transform into each $D$ state as constituents of $T_{cc}^+$ production, is described using the coalescence model. The coalescence probability between $D$ and $D^*$ is determined by the Wigner function, which encodes the information of the $T_{cc}^+$ wave function. Our results show that the $T_{cc}^+$ production varies by approximately one order of magnitude when different widths in the Wigner function, representing distinct binding energies of $T_{cc}^+$, are considered. This variation offers valuable insights into the nature of $T_{cc}^+$ through the analysis of its wave function. The $\Xi_{cc}^{++}$ is treated as a hadronic state produced at the hadronization of the deconfined matter. The measurements on a few pentaquarks states $P_c(4440)$, $P_c(4457)$ and $P_{cs}(4459)$ excite our new interests about their structures. Since the masses of $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ are close to the threshold of $\Sigma_c\bar D^*$, in the earlier works, they were regarded as molecular states of $\Sigma_c\bar D^*$ with quantum numbers $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^-)$ and $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$, respectively. In a similar way $P_{cs}(4459)$ is naturally considered as a $\Xi_c\bar D^*$ bound state with $I=0$. Within the Bethe-Salpeter (B-S) framework we systematically study the possible bound states of $\Lambda_c\bar D^*$, $\Sigma_c\bar D^*$, $\Xi_c\bar D^*$ and $\Xi_c'\bar D^*$. Our results indicate that $\Sigma_c\bar D^*$ can form a bound state with $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^-)$, which corresponds to $P_c(4440)$. However for the $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$ system the attraction between $\Sigma_c$ and $\bar D^*$ is too weak to constitute a molecule, so $P_{c}(4457)$ may not be a bound state of $\Sigma_c\bar D^*$ with $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$. As $\Xi_c\bar D^*$ and $\Xi_c'\bar D^*$ systems we take into account of the mixing between $\Xi_c$ and $\Xi'_c$ and the eigenstets should include two normal bound states $\Xi_c\bar D^*$ and $\Xi_c'\bar D^*$ with $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^-)$ and a loosely bound state $\Xi_c\bar D^*$ with $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$. The conclusion that two $\Xi_c\bar D^*$ bound states exist, supports the suggestion that the observed peak of $P_{cs}(4459)$ may hide two states $P_{cs}(4455)$ and $P_{cs}(4468)$. Based on the computations we predict a bound state $\Xi_c'\bar D^*$ with $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^-)$ but not that with $I(J^P)=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$. In this work, we study the weak decay between two heavy baryons $ \mathcal{B}_i(\frac{1}{2}^+)\to \mathcal{B}_f(\frac{3}{2}^+)$ in the light-front quark model where three-quark picture is employed for baryon. We derive general form of transition amplitude of $ \mathcal{B}_i(\frac{1}{2}^+)\to \mathcal{B}_f(\frac{3}{2}^+)$, and analyze two specific cases of transitions: the weak decays of single heavy baryon $\Sigma_{b} \to \Sigma_{c}^*$ and the decays of double-charmed baryon $\Xi_{cc}\to \Sigma_{c}^*(\Xi_{c}^*)$. We compute the hadronic form factors for the transitions and apply them to study the decay widths of the semi-leptonic $\mathcal B_i(\frac{1}{2}^+)\to\mathcal B_f(\frac{3}{2}^+) l\bar{\nu}_l$ and non-leptonic $\mathcal B_i(\frac{1}{2}^+)\to\mathcal B_f(\frac{3}{2}^+)M$. Previously we studied the transition $\Sigma_{b} \to \Sigma_{c}^*$ with the quark-diquark picture of baryon in the light-front quark model. Here we revisit this transition with three-quark picture of baryon. At the quark level, the transition $\Sigma_{b} \to \Sigma_{c}^*$ is induced by the $b\rightarrow c$ transition.The subsystem of the two unchanged light quarks which possesses definite and same spin in initial and final state can be viewed as a spectator, so the spectator approximation can be applied directly. For the weak decay of doubly charmed baryon $\Xi_{cc}$, a $c$ quark decays to a light quark $q_1$, so both the initial state $cc$ and final state $q_1q_2$ ($q_1$ and the original $q_2$ in initial state may be the same flavor quarks) which possess definite spin are no longer spectators. A rearrangement of quarks for initial and final states is adopted to isolate the unchanged subsystem $cq_2$ which can be viewed as the spectator approximately. Future measurements on these channels will constrain the nonperturbative parameter in the wavefunctions and test the model predictions., Comment: 20 pages, 6 figures and 10 tables

In this work, we propose to search for the exotic doubly charmed meson $T_{cc}^+$ and its analog $T_{cc\bar{s}}^+$ in $B_c^+$ decays, which provide a good environment for the formation of the exotic state containing double charm quarks. Within the molecular scheme, the production of $T_{cc}^+$ and $T_{cc\bar{s}}^+$ through various rescattering processes with different intermediate states are investigated. For the moderate values of model parameters, the branching ratios of $B_c^+$ decaying into $T_{cc}^+ \bar{D}^{0}$, $T_{cc}^+ \bar{D}^{*0}$, $T_{cc\bar{s}}^+ \bar{D}^{0}$ and $T_{cc\bar{s}}^+ \bar{D}^{*0}$ are estimated to be of the order of $10^{-7}$, $10^{-5}$, $10^{-6}$ and $10^{-4}$, respectively, which may be tested by future experiments., Comment: 9 pages, 8 figures

Two iso-singlet hadron states $X_0(2900)$ and $X_1(2900)$ with $J=0$ and 1 respectively, discovered by the LHCb collaboration in 2020, were identified as molecular bound states of $\bar D^*K^*$. Recently two structures $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^0$ and $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^{++}$ have been observed at the hadron spectra, one would suspect if they also are molecular states of $D^*$ and $K^*$. As long as they were of the molecular structures of $D^*K^*$, the hadron states must be in an iso-vector, namely $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^0$ and $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^{++}$ were $I_3=-1, 1$ components of the iso-vector. If it is the case, the corresponding $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^+$ of ($I=1,I_3=0$) and $T^{'a}_{cs0}(2900)^{+}$ of $I=0,I_3=0$ so far evade experimental observation, but should be found by the future experiments. To testify this ansatz, in this paper we study the possible molecular structures of $\bar D^{*}K^{*}$ and $D^{*}K^{*}$ within the Bethe-Salpeter (B-S) framework. With reasonable input parameters it is found that $\bar D^{*}K^{*}$ iso-scalar systems with $J^P=0^+$ and $1^+$ are solutions. The result supports the ansatz of $X_0(2900)$ ($X_1(2900)$) being molecular states of $\bar D^*K^{*}$. Whereas for the system of $ D^{*}K^{*}$ with $I=1$ the corresponding B-S equation has no solution. Thus we can draw a clear conclusion that $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^0$ and $T^a_{cs0}(2900)^{++}$ should not be bound states of $ D^{*}$ and $K^{*}$. The two structures observed by the LHCb collaboration may be caused by dynamics, such as the well-recognized triangle anomalies or other mechanisms., Comment: 14 pages, 2 figures and 5 tables. The charmless decay processes of $X(3872)$ provide us a good platform to study the nature and the decay mechanism of $X(3872)$. Based on a molecular nature of $X(3872)$ as a $\bar{D}D^*$ bound state, we have investigated the charmless decays $X(3872) \to VV$ and $VP$ via intermediate $D^*{\bar D} +c.c.$ meson loops, where $V$ and $P$ stand for light vector and pseudoscalar mesons, respectively. We discuss three cases, i.e., pure neutral components ($\theta=0$), isospin singlet ($\theta=\pi/4$) and neutral components dominant ($\theta = \pi/6$), where $\theta$ is a phase angle describing the proportion of neutral and charged constituents. The proportion of neutral and charged constituent have an influence on the decay widths of $X(3872) \to VV$ and $VP$. With the coupling constant of $X(3872)$ to the $\bar{D}D^*$ channel obtained under the molecule ansatz of $X(3872)$ resonance, the predicted decay widths of $X(3872)\rightarrow VV$ are about tens of keVs, while the decay width can reach a few hundreds of keVs for $X(3872)\to VP$. The dependence of these ratios between different decay modes of $X(3872)\to VV$ and $X(3872)\to VP$ to the mixing angle $\theta$ is also investigated. We investigate the $B^0\to \pi^- K^+ X(3872)$ decay via the $D_{s1}(2536)\bar{D} D^*$ rescattering diagram. The line shape of the $K^+X(3872)$ distribution curve around $D_{s1}(2536)\bar{D}$ threshold is very sensitive to the $X(3872)$ mass because the triangle singularity (TS) can be generated from the loop. By means of this characteristic, we can determine whether the $X(3872)$ mass is below or above the $D^{\ast 0}\bar{D}^0$ threshold with high precision. The narrowness of $D_{s1}(2536)$ in the loop is one of the key reasons why the TS mechanism of measuring the $X(3872)$ mass may work. The $X(3872)$ width impact on the $K^+X(3872)$ line shape is also crucial in the TS mechanism. If the width is as large as 1 MeV, the proposed method of measuring the $X(3872)$ mass would be ruined., Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures

We investigate the process $B\to \bar{D}D_s \pi$ via several rescattering processes. It is shown that the triangle singularity (TS) peak around the $D^*K^*$ threshold generated from the $\chi_{c1}K^* D^*$ loop is relatively narrow, which may simulate the resonance-like structure $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)$ recently observed by LHCb in the $D_s\pi$ spectrum. However, the TS peak around the $D_s^*\rho$ threshold generated from the $D^{**} D_s^* \rho$ loop is smoothed by the broad width of $\rho$, which itself can hardly describe the $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)$ structure. A TS signal around the $DK$ threshold generated from the $\chi_{c0}K D $ loop is also predicted., Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures

Recently the LHCb collaboration reported a new exotic state $T^+_{cc}$ which possesses $cc\bar u\bar d$ flavor structure. Since its mass is very close to the threshold of $D^0D^{*+}$ (or $D^{*0}D^{+}$) and its width is very narrow, it is inclined to conjecture that $T^+_{cc}$ is a molecular state of $D^0D^{*+}$ (or $D^{*0}D^{+}$). In this paper we study the possible molecular structures of $D^{(*)}D^{(*)}$ and $B^{(*)}B^{(*)}$ within the Bethe-Salpeter (B-S) framework. We employ one boson exchange model to stand the interaction kernels in the B-S equations. With reasonable input parameters we find the isospin eigenstate $\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}(D^0D^{*+}-D^{*0}D^{+})$ ($J^P=1^+$) constitutes a solution, which supports the ansatz of $T^+_{cc}$ being a molecular state of $D^0D^{*+}$ (or $D^{*0}D^{+}$). With the same parameters we also find that the isospin-1 state $\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}(D^{*0}D^{*+}+D^{*0}D^{*+})$ ($J^P=0^+$) can exist. Moreover, we also study the systems of $B^{(*)}B^{(*)}$ and their counterparts exist as possible molecular states. Consistency of theoretical computations based on such states with the data of the future experiments may consolidate the molecular structure of the exotic state $T^+_{cc}$., Comment: 18 pages, 5 figures, 2 tables

Heavy-ion collisions provide a unique opportunity to study the nature of X(3872) compared with electron-positron and proton-proton (antiproton) collisions. We investigate the centrality and momentum dependence of X(3872) in heavy-ion collisions via the Langevin equation and instant coalescence model (LICM). When X(3872) is treated as a compact tetraquark state, the tetraquarks are produced via the coalescence of heavy and light quarks near the quantum chromodynamic (QCD) phase transition due to the restoration of the heavy quark potential at $T\rightarrow T_c$. In the molecular scenario, loosely bound X(3872) is produced via the coalescence of $D^0$-$\bar D^{*0}$ mesons in a hadronic medium after kinetic freeze-out. We employ the LICM to explain both $D^0$ and $J/\psi$ production as a benchmark. Then we give predictions regarding X(3872) production and the nuclear modification factor $R_{AA}^{X(3872)}$. We find that the total yield of tetraquark is several times larger than the molecular production in Pb-Pb collisions. Although the geometric size of the molecule is huge, the coalescence probability is small due to strict constraints on the relative momentum between $D^0$ and $\bar D^{*0}$ in the molecular Wigner function, which significantly suppresses the molecular yield., Comment: 11 pages, 9 figures

Motivated by the recent discovery of the first hidden charm pentaquark state with strangeness $P_{cs}(4459)$ by the LHCb Collaboration, we study the likely existence of a three-body $\Sigma_{c}\bar{D}\bar{K}$ bound state, which shares the same minimal quark content as $P_{cs}(4459)$. The $\Sigma_{c}\bar{D}$ and $DK$ interactions are determined by reproducing $P_c(4312)$ and $D_{s0}^*(2317)$ as $\Sigma_c\bar{D}$ and $\bar{D}\bar{K}$ molecules, respectively, while the $\Sigma_c\bar{K}$ interaction is constrained by chiral effective theory. We indeed find a three-body bound state by solving the Schr\"odinger equation using the Gaussian Expansion Method, which can be viewed as an excited hidden charm pentaquark state with strangeness, $P_{cs}^*(4739)$, with $I(J^P)=1(1/2^+)$ and a binding energy of $77.8^{+25}_{-10.3}$ MeV. We further study its strong decays via triangle diagrams and show that its partial decay widths into $D\Xi_c'$ and $D_s^*\Sigma_c$ are of a few ten's MeV, with the former being dominant., Comment: 17 pages, 4 figures

Without contamination from the final state interactions, the calculation of the branching ratios of semileptonic decays $\Xi^{(')}_{c}\to\Xi+e^+\nu_e$ may provide us more information about the inner structure of charmed baryons. Moreover, by studying those processes, one can better determine the form factors of $\Xi_c\to\Xi$ which can be further applied to relevant estimates. In this work, we use the light-front quark model to carry out the computations where the three-body vertex functions for $\Xi_c$ and $\Xi$ are employed. To fit the new data of the Belle II, we re-adjust the model parameters and obtain $\beta_{s[sq]}=1.07$ GeV which is 2.9 times larger than $\beta_{s\bar s}=0.366$ GeV. This value may imply that the $ss$ pair in $\Xi$ constitutes a more compact subsystem. Furthermore, we also investigate the non-leptonic decays of $\Xi^{(')}_c\to \Xi$ which will be experimentally measured soon, so our model would be tested by consistency with the new data., Comment: 10 pages, 3 figures and 6 tables. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1912.01435

Recently LHCb declared a new structure $X(6900)$ in the final state di-$J/\psi$ which is popularly regarded as a $cc$-$\bar c\bar c$ tetraquark state. %popularly. Within the Bethe-Salpeter (B-S) frame we study the possible $cc$-$\bar c\bar c$ bound states and the interaction between diquark ($cc$) and antidiquark ($\bar c\bar c$). In this work $cc$ ($\bar c\bar c$) is treated as a color anti-triplet (triplet) axial-vector so the quantum numbers of $cc$-$\bar c\bar c$ bound state are $0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$. Learning from the interaction in meson case and using the effective coupling we suggest the interaction kernel for diquark and antidiquark system. Then we deduce the B-S equations for different quantum numbers. Solving these equations numerically we find the spectra of some excited states can be close to the mass of $X(6900)$ when we assign appropriate values for parameter $\kappa$ introduced in the interaction (kernel).We also briefly calculate the spectra of $bb$-$\bar b\bar b$ bound states. Future measurement of $bb$-$\bar b\bar b$ state will help us to determine the exact form of effective interaction., Comment: 14 pages, two figures

We investigate the $B^+\to J/\psi \phi K^+$ decay via various rescattering diagrams. Without introducing genuine exotic resonances, it is shown that the $Z_{cs}(4000)$, $Z_{cs}(4220)$ and $X(4700)$ reported by the LHCb collaboration can be simulated by the $J/\psi K^{*+}$, $\psi^\prime K^+$ and $\psi^\prime \phi$ threshold cusps, respectively. These cusps are enhanced by some nearby triangle singularities. The $X(4685)$ with $J^P=1^+$ cannot be well simulated by the threshold effects in our model, which implies that it may be a genuine resonance., Comment: 7 pages, 6 figures, 2 tables

We study the $P_{cs}(4459)^0$ recently observed by LHCb using the method of QCD sum rules. Our results support its interpretation as the $\bar D^* \Xi_c$ hadronic molecular state of either $J^P=1/2^-$ or $3/2^-$. Within the hadronic molecular picture, the three LHCb experiments observing $P_c$ and $P_{cs}$ states \cite{lhcb,Aaij:2015tga,Aaij:2019vzc} can be well understood as a whole. This strongly supports the existence of hadronic molecules, whose studies can significantly improve our understanding on the construction of the subatomic world. To verify this picture, we propose to further investigate the $P_{cs}(4459)^0$ to examine whether it can be separated into two states, and to search for the $\bar D \Xi_c$ molecular state of $J^P=1/2^-$., Comment: 8 pages, 3 figure, 1 table, revised version to be published in EPJC

The LHCb collaboration reported the observation of a narrow peak in the $D^- K^+$ invariant mass distributions from the $B^+\to D^+ D^- K^+$ decay. The peak is parameterized in terms of two resonances $X_0(2900)$ and $X_1(2900)$ with the quark contents $\bar{c}\bar{s}ud$, and their spin-parity quantum numbers are $0^+$ and $1^-$, respectively. We investigate the rescattering processes which may contribute to the $B^+\to D^+ D^- K^+$ decays. It is shown that the $D^{*-}K^{*+}$ rescattering via the $\chi_{c1}K^{*+}D^{*-}$ loop or the $\bar{D}_{1}^{0}K^{0}$ rescattering via the $D_{sJ}^{+}\bar{D}_{1}^{0}K^{0}$ loop simulate the $X_0(2900)$ and $X_1(2900)$ structures. Such phenomena are due to the analytical property of the scattering amplitudes with the triangle singularities located to the vicinity of the physical boundary., Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures

Recently a vector charmonium-like state $Y(4626)$ was observed in the portal of $D^+_sD_{s1}(2536)^-$. It intrigues an active discussion on the structure of the resonance because it has obvious significance for gaining a better understanding on its hadronic structure with suitable inner constituents. It indeed concerns the general theoretical framework about possible structures of exotic states. Since the mass of $Y(4626)$ is slightly above the production threshold of $D^+_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)^-$ whereas below that of $D^*_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)$ with the same quark contents as that of $D^+_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)^-$, it is natural to conjecture $Y(4626)$ to be a molecular state of $D^{*}_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)$, as suggested in literature. Confirming or negating this allegation would shed light on the goal we concern. We calculate the mass spectrum of a system composed of a vector meson and an axial vector i.e. $D^*_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)$ within the framework of the Bethe-Salpeter equations. Our numerical results show that the dimensionless parameter $\lambda$ in the form factor which is phenomenologically introduced to every vertex, is far beyond the reasonable range for inducing an even very small binding energy $\Delta E$. It implies that the $D^*_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)$ system cannot exist in the nature as a hadronic molecule in this model, so that we may not think the resonance $Y(4626)$ to be a bound state of $D^*_s\bar D_{s1}(2536)$, but something else, for example a tetraquark and etc., Comment: 22 pages, 4 figures. The spectrum of hadrons is the manifestation of color confinement of quantum chromodynamics. Hadronic resonances correspond to poles of the S-matrix. Since 2003, lots of new hadron resonant structures were discovered in the mass regions from light mesons to hadrons containing a pair of a heavy quark and an antiquark. Many of them are candidates of exotic hadrons, and they are usually observed as peaks in invariant mass distributions. However, the S-matrix also has kinematical singularities due to the on-shellness of intermediate particles for a process, such as two-body thresholds and triangle singularities, and they can produce peaks as well. In this work we study the weak decays of $\Xi_{cc}\to\Xi_c$ and $\Xi_{cc}\to\Xi'_c$ in the light-front quark model. Generally, a naive, but reasonable conjecture suggests that the $cc$ subsystem in $\Xi_{cc}$ ( $us$ pair in $\Xi^{(')}_c$) stands as a diquark with definite spin and color assignments. During the concerned processes, the diquark of the initial state is not a spectator, and must be broken. A Racah transformation would decompose the original $(cc)q$ into a combination of $c(cq)$ components. Thus we may deal with the decaying $c$ quark alone while keeping the $(cq)$ subsystem as a spectator. With the re-arrangement of the inner structure we calculate the form factors numerically and then obtain the rates of semi-leptonic decays and non-leptonic decays, which will be measured in the future., Comment: 18 pages, 4 firures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1904.05705

The $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4440)$, and $P_c(4457)$ observed by the LHCb Collaboration are very likely to be $S$-wave $\Sigma_c\bar{D}^{(*)}$ molecular candidates due to their near-threshold character. In this work, we study the hidden-charm decay modes of these $P_c$ states, $P_c\to J/\psi p(\eta_cp)$, using a quark interchange model. The decay mechanism for the $P_c\to J/\psi p(\eta_cp)$ processes arises from the quark-quark interactions, where all parameters are determined by the mass spectra of mesons. We present our results in two scenarios. In scenario I, we perform the dynamical calculations and treat the $P_c$ states as pure $\Sigma_c \bar D^{(*)}$ molecules. In scenario II, after considering the coupled channel effect between different flavor configurations $\Sigma^{(*)}_c\bar D^{(*)}$, we calculate these partial decay widths again. The decay patterns in these two scenarios can help us to explore the molecular assignment and the inner flavor configurations for the $P_c$ states. In particular, the decay widths of $\Gamma(P_c(4312)\to\eta_cp)$ are comparable to the $J/\psi p$ decay widths in both of these two scenarios. Future experiments like LHCb may confirm the existence of the $P_c(4312)$ in the $\eta_cp$ channel., Comment: 13 pages, 7 figures, version published in PRD

$P_c(4312)$ observed by the LHCb collaboration is confirmed as a pentaquark and its structure, production, and decay behaviors attract great attention from theorists and experimentalists. Since its mass is very close to sum of $\Sigma_c$ and $\bar D$ masses, it is naturally tempted to be considered as a molecular state composed of $\Sigma_c$ and $\bar D$. Moreover, $P_c(4312)$ is observed in the channel with $J/\psi p$ final state, requiring that isospin conservation $P_c(4312)$ is an isospin-1/2 eigenstate. In literature, several groups used various models to estimate its spectrum. We systematically study the pentaquarks within the framework of the Bethe-Salpeter equation; thus $P_c(4312)$ is an excellent target because of the available data. We calculate the spectrum of $P_c(4312)$ in terms of the Bethe-Salpter equations and further study its decay modes. Within a picture of the $f_1(1285)$ being a dynamically generated resonance from the $ K^*\bar K$ interactions, we estimate the rates for the radiative transitions of the $f_1(1285)$ meson to the vector mesons $\rho^0$,$\omega$ and $\phi$. These radiative decays proceed via the kaon loop diagrams. The calculated results are in fair agreement with the experimental measurements. Some predictions can be tested by experiments and their implementation and comparison with these predictions will be valuable to decode the nature of the $f_1(1285)$ state., Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures

A resonance-like structure as narrow as 10 MeV is observed in the $K^-p$ invariant mass distributions in $\Lambda_c^+\to p K^- \pi^+$ at Belle. Based on the large data sample of about 1.5 million events and the small bin width of just 1 MeV for the $K^-p$ invariant mass spectrum, the narrow peak is found precisely lying at the $\Lambda\eta$ threshold. While lacking evidence for a quark model state with such a narrow width at this mass region, we find that this narrow structure can be naturally identified as a threshold cusp but enhanced by the nearby triangle singularity via the $\Lambda$-$a_0(980)^+$ or $\eta$-$\Sigma(1660)^+$ rescatterings., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures

Employing the relativized quark model and the quark-interchange model, we investigate the decay of the charged heavy quarkonium-like states $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4430)$, $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ into the ground and radially excited heavy quarkonia via emitting a pion meson. The $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ states are assumed to be hadronic molecules composed of open-flavor heavy mesons. The calculated decay ratios can be compared with the experimental data, which are useful in judging whether the molecule state assignment for the corresponding $Z_c$ or $Z_b$ state is reasonable or not. The discovery of $\Xi_{cc}^{++}$ by the LHCb Collaboration triggers predictions of more doubly charmed baryons. By taking into account both the $P$-wave excitations between the two charm quarks and the scattering of light pseudoscalar mesons off the ground state doubly charmed baryons, a set of negative-parity spin-1/2 doubly charmed baryons are predicted already from a unitarized version of leading order chiral perturbation theory. Moreover, employing heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry the relevant low-energy constants in the next-to-leading order are connected with those describing light pseudoscalar mesons scattering off charmed mesons, which have been well determined from lattice calculations and experimental data. Our calculations result in a spectrum richer than that of heavy mesons. We find two very narrow $J^P=1/2^-$ $\Omega_{cc}^P$, which very likely decay into $\Omega_{cc}\pi^0$ breaking isospin symmetry. In the isospin-1/2 $\Xi_{cc}^P$ sector, three states are predicted to exist below 4.2~GeV with the lowest one being narrow and the other two rather broad. We suggest to search for the $\Xi_{cc}^{P}$ states in the $\Xi_{cc}^{++}\pi^-$ mode. We investigate the process $B_c^+\to B_s^0\pi^+\pi^0$ via $B\bar{K}^*$ rescattering. The kinematic conditions for triangle singularities are perfectly satisfied in the rescattering diagrams. A resonance-like structure around the $B\bar{K}$ threshold, which we denote as $X(5777)$, is predicted to be present in the invariant mass distribution of $B_s^0 \pi^+$. Because the relative weak $B\bar{K}$ $(I=1)$ interaction does not support the existence of a dynamically generated hadronic molecule, the $X(5777)$ can be identified as a pure kinematical effect due to the triangle singularity. Its observation may help to establish a non-resonance interpretation for some $XYZ$ particles., Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures

We investigate the possible rescattering effects which may contribute to the process $B^+\to J/\psi\phi K^+$. It is shown that the $D_{s}^{*+}D_{s}^-$ rescattering via the open-charmed meson loops, and $\psi^\prime \phi$ rescattering via the $\psi^\prime K_1$ loops may simulate the structures of $X(4140)$ and $X(4700)$, respectively. However, if the quantum numbers of $X(4274)$ ($X(4500)$) are $1^{++}$ ($0^{++}$), it is hard to to ascribe the observation of $X(4274)$ and $X(4500)$ to the $P$-wave threshold rescattering effects, which implies that $X(4274)$ and $X(4500)$ could be genuine resonances. We investigate the invariant mass distributions of $B_s\pi$ via different rescattering processes. Because the triangle singularity (TS) could be present for a very broad incident energy region, it can be expected that the TS peaks may simulate the resonance-like bump $X(5568)$ observed by the D0 collaboration. We investigate the reaction $\pi^- p \to \pi^- J/\psi p$ via the open-charm hadron rescattering diagrams. Due to the presence of the triangle singularity (TS) in the rescattering amplitudes, the TS peaks can simulate the pentaquark-like resonances arising in the $J/\psi p$ invariant mass distributions, which may bring ambiguities on our understanding of the nature of the exotic states. We investigate the processes $e^+e^-$$\to$$\gamma J/\psi\phi$, $\gamma J/\psi\omega$ and $\pi^0 J/\psi\eta$ to search for the charmnium-like states with hidden $s\bar{s}$, such as $Y(4140)$, $Y(4274)$, $X(4350)$ and $X(3915)$. These processes will receive contributions from the charmed-strange meson rescatterings. When the center-of-mass energies of the $e^+e^-$ scatterings are taken around the $D_{s0}(2317)D_s^{*}$, $D_{s1}(2460)D_s$ or $D_{s1}(2460)D_s^{*}$ threshold, the anomalous triangle singularities can be present in the rescattering amplitudes, which implies a non-resonance explanation about the resonance-like structures. The positions of the anomalous triangle singularities are sensitive to the kinematics, which offers us a criterion to distinguish the kinematic singularities from genuine particles., Comment: 15 pages, 5 figures, 2 tables

We propose to study the pentaquark candidates of $P_c^+(4380)$ and $P_c^+(4450)$ in $J/\psi$ photoproduction and look for further experimental evidence for their nature. Since the photoproduction process does not satisfy the so-called "anomalous triangle singularity" condition their presence in $J/\psi$ photoproduction would conclude that they should be genuine states and provide further evidence for their existence., Comment: Accepted by Phys.Rev. We find that several thresholds can contribute to the enhancements of the newly observed heavy pentaquark candidates $P_c^+(4380)$ and $P_c^+(4450)$ via the anomalous triangle singularity (ATS) transitions in the specific kinematics of $\Lambda_b\to J/\psi K^- p$. Apart from the observed two peaks we find that another peaks around 4.5 GeV can also be produced by the ATS. We also show that the $\Sigma_c^{(*)}$ can be produced at leading order in $\Lambda_b$ decay. This process is different from the triangle diagram and its threshold enhancement only appears as CUSP effects if there is no pole structure or the ATS involved. To validate the molecular description of the observed $Z_b(10610)/Z_b(10650)$ and $Z_c(3900)/Z_c(4025)$, it is valuable to investigate their counterparts, denoted as $Z_{QV}^{(\prime)}$ in this work, and the corresponding decay modes. In this work, we present an analysis of the $Z_{QV}^{(\prime)}$ using flavor symmetry. We also use the effective Lagrangian based on the heavy quark symmetry to explore the rescattering mechanism and calculate the partial widths for the isospin conserved channels $Z_{QV}^{(\prime)} \to \eta_Q V$. The predicted partial widths are of an order of MeV for $Z_{QV} \to \eta_Q V$, which correspond to branching ratios of the order of $10^{-2}\sim 10^{-1}$. For $Z_{QV}^\prime \to \eta_Q V$, the partial widths are a few hundreds of keV and the branching ratios are about $10^{-3}$. Future experimental measurements can test our predictions on the partial widths and thus examine the molecule description of heavy quarkoniumlike exotic states., Comment: 11 pages, 2 figures; accepted by Phys. We investigate the ratio of the branching fractions of the molecular candidates decaying into the ground and radially excited states within the quark interchange model. Our numerical results suggest that these molecular candidates are more likely to decay into the radially excited states than into ground states. Especially, the ratio $\Gamma[Z_c(4430)\to \pi\psi(2S)]$/$\Gamma[Z_c(4430)\to \pi J/\psi]\sim 9.8$ is close to the experimental measurement, which supports the interpretation of $Z_c(4430)$ as the $\bar{D}D^*(2S)$ molecular state. The ratios of the branching fractions of $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ to $\pi\Upsilon(2S, 3S)$ and $\pi\Upsilon(1S)$ agrees very well with Belle's measurement. We also predict the similar ratios for $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $R_{Z_c(3900)}$$\approx$1.3 and $R_{Z_c(4020)}$$\approx$$4.7$. Hopefully the $\pi\psi(2S)$ mode, and ratios $R_{Z_c(3900)}$ and $R_{Z_c(4020)}$ will be measured by the BESIII and Belle collaborations in the near future, which shall be very helpful to understand the underlying dynamics of these exotic states., Comment: 8 pages, 5 figures, 4 tables

Through the spin rearrangement scheme in the heavy quark limit, we have performed a comprehensive investigation of the decay pattern and production mechanism of the hidden beauty di-meson states, which are either composed of a P-wave bottom meson and an S-wave bottom meson or two S-wave bottom mesons. We further extend the corresponding formula to discuss the decay behavior of some charmonium-like states by combining the experimental information with our numerical results. The typical ratios presented in this work can be measured by future experiments like BESIII, Belle, LHCb and the forthcoming BelleII, which shall provide important clues to the inner structures of the exotic states., Comment: 21pages, 12tables

Motivated by the LHCb's recent confirmation of $Z_1(4475)$ as the $J^P=1^+$ resonance, we investigate various exotic interpretations of $Z_1(4475)$, which may be an axial vector tetraquark state, the P-wave excitation of the S-wave $D_1 {\bar D}^\ast$ or $D_2 {\bar D}^\ast$ molecule, the S-wave molecule composed of a $D$ or $D^*$ meson and a D-wave vector $D$ meson, or the cousin molecular state of $Z_c(3900)$ and $Z_c(4020)$ composed of a $D$ or $D^*$ meson and their radial excitations. With the help of the heavy quark symmetry, we predict the typical radiative and hidden-charm and open-charm strong decay patterns of $Z_1(4475)$, which are crucial to further identify the molecular state assignment of $Z_1(4475)$., Comment: 4 Pages, 1 Table. In this work, we have adopted the spin rearrangement scheme in the heavy quark limit and extensively investigated three classes of the radiative decays: $\mathfrak{M}\to (b\bar{b})+\gamma$, $(b\bar{b})\to \mathfrak{M}+\gamma$, $ \mathfrak{M} \to \mathfrak{M}^\prime+\gamma$, corresponding to the electromagnetic transitions between one molecular state and bottomonium, one bottomonium and molecular state, and two molecular states respectively. We also extend the same formalism to study the radiative decays of the molecular states with hidden charm. We have derived some model independent ratios when the initial or final states belong to the same spin flavor multiplet. We investigate the processes $e^+e^-$ annihilating to $J/\psi\pi\pi$, $\psi^\prime\pi\pi$ and $h_c\pi\pi$. The coupled-channel effects induced by the couplings between the widely accepted $D$-wave charmonium $\psi(4160)$ and $D_1D$, $D_1D^*$ and $D_2D^*$ charmed meson pairs in the $S$-wave state with couplings given by heavy quark spin symmetry are analyzed. The line shapes show the presence of cusps that result from the singularities of the rescattering loops, which could be helpful in understanding the nature of $Y(4260)$, $Y(4360)$, $Z_c(3900)$/$Z_c(3885)$ and $Z_c(4020)$/$Z_c(4025)$., Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures. By assuming that $Y(4260)$ is a $D_1\bar D$ molecular state, we investigate some hidden-charm and charmed pair decay channels of $Y(4260)$ via intermediate $D_1\bar D$ meson loops with an effective Lagrangian approach. Through investigating the $\alpha$-dependence of branching ratios and ratios between different decay channels, we show that the intermediate $D_1 \bar D$ meson loops are crucial for driving these transitions of $Y(4260)$ studied here. By assuming that Y(4260) either is a $D_1\bar{D}$ molecular state, or has sizeable couplings with $D_0 \bar{D}^*$ and $D_1^\prime \bar{D}$, we investigate several decay modes of Y(4260). Under the special kinematic configurations, triangle singularity (TS) may occur in the rescattering amplitude, which will significantly change the threshold behavior. Obvious threshold enhancements or narrow cusp structures appear quite naturally without introducing a genuine resonance. We provide details of the study of $\psi(3770)$ non-$D\bar D$ decays into $VP$, where $V$ and $P$ denote light vector meson and pseudoscalar meson, respectively. We find that the electromagnetic (EM) interaction plays little role in these processes, while the strong interaction dominates. The strong interaction can be separated into two parts, i.e. the short-distance part probing the wave function at origin and the long-distance part reflecting the soft gluon exchanged dynamics. The long-distance part is thus described by the intermediate charmed meson loops. We show that the transition of $\psi(3770)\to VP$ can be related to $\psi(3686)\to VP$ such that the parameters in our model can be constrained by comparing the different parts in $\psi(3770)\to VP$ to those in $\psi(3686)\to VP$. Our quantitative results confirm the findings of [Zhang {\it et al.}, Phys. Rev. Lett. 102, 172001 (2009)] that the OZI-rule-evading long-distance strong interaction via the IML plays an important role in $\psi(3770)$ decays, and could be a key towards a full understanding of the mysterious $\psi(3770)$ non-$D\bar{D}$ decay mechanism., Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures, version to appear in Phys.
