Purposes There is a problem of not considering the microstructure influence of component materials when analyzing the thermoelastic problem of functionally graded thick-walled tubes at present. Evaluating the equivalent parameters of functionally graded materials based on micromechanics methods such as the Mori-Tanaka method can effectively solve the problem mentioned above. However, existing literatures only provide numerical solutions based on the Mori-Tanaka method for functionally graded thick-walled tubes under combined thermal and mechanical loads. And in their works, only the spherical inclusion is considered. Methods To address the aforementioned issues, the thermoelastic problem of functionally graded thick-walled tubes is analyzed on the basis of the Mori-Tanaka method, and provides an approximate thermoelastic theoretical solution is provided. This theoretical solution not only has a high degree of compatibility with the numerical solution, but also considers the influence of inclusion shape on its physical quantities. Finally, the effects of inclusion shape on radial displacement and stresses under different boundary conditions are analyzed. Finding The results show that under both boundary conditions, the shape of the inclusion has a significant impact on the radial displacement. However, under the temperature boundary condition, the shape of inclusion has a significant impact on radial stress, but has a relatively small impact on axial and circumferential stresses. Under the stress boundary condition, the shape of inclusion has a greater impact on axial stress, but a smaller impact on circumferential and radial stresses.

The observation that mid-ocean ridge basalts had ~3× higher iodine/plutonium ratios (inferred from xenon isotopes) compared to ocean island basalts holds critical insights into Earth's accretion. Understanding whether this difference stems from core formation alone or heterogeneous accretion is, however, hindered by the unknown geochemical behavior of plutonium during core formation. Here, we use first-principles molecular dynamics to quantify the metal-silicate partition coefficients of iodine and plutonium during core formation and find that both iodine and plutonium partly partition into metal liquid. Using multistage core formation modeling, we show that core formation alone is unlikely to explain the iodine/plutonium difference between mantle reservoirs. Instead, our results reveal a heterogeneous accretion history, whereby predominant accretion of volatile-poor differentiated planetesimals was followed by a secondary phase of accretion of volatile-rich undifferentiated meteorites. This implies that Earth inherited part of its volatiles, including its water, from late accretion of chondrites, with a notable carbonaceous chondrite contribution.

ObjectiveTo further understand the factors that promote thrombosis in essential thrombocythemia （ET） that were not included in IPSET-thrombosis （International Prognostic Score of Thrombosis for ET）. MethodsA systematic evaluation was conducted on 292 studies by retrieving PubMed，Web of Science, and The Cochrane Library. The incidence and relative risk ratio （RR） of thrombosis in ET patients with different risk factors were calculated. The confidence levels for the outcome were analyzed in combination with RR values and recommendation scores (RS) to find the thrombotic risk factors in ET patients. ResultsOut of 9 risk factors that promoted ET thrombosis, there were 4 factors in IPSET-thrombosis, including history of thrombosis （35.0%, RR=3.30, 95% CI : 2.30-4.75）, JAK2V617F positive （21.0%, RR=2.28, 95%CI : 1.14-4.56）, age over 60 years old （ 22.4% , RR=1.95, 95%CI : 1.17-3.23） and cardiovascular risk factors （17.7%, RR =1.90, 95%CI : 1.08-3.35）. The remaining five risk factors, not listed in IPSET-thrombosis, included monoclonal type of ET based on X-chromosome inactivation pattern （XCIP, 30.6%, RR=4.49, 95% CI: 1.58-12.77）, high JAK2V617F burden （33.9%, RR=3.69, 95%CI: 1.70-7.99）, leukocytosis （18.7%, RR=3.05, 95%CI: 1.81-5.13）, MPL mutation （22.1%, RR=2.40, 95%CI: 1.08-5.33） and splenomegaly （25.6%, RR=1.76, 95%CI：1.29-2.40）. ConclusionAmong the risk factors promoting thrombosis in ET patients, five thrombotic risk factors not included in the IPSET-thrombosis have been identified.

The catalytic exchange of hydrogen isotopes is a promising technology for purifying recycled water in nuclear power stations. However, it remains a challenge for achieving high catalytic efficiency and stability at low temperatures. In this work, we propose a facile strategy to enhance the catalyst efficiency by introducing LiF in the Pt/Ti3AlC2 (Pt−5‐LiF/Ti3AlC2). The incorporation of LiF significantly achieves high catalytic exchange efficiency of 92 % and a turnover frequency of 28.1 h−1, which are more than twice that of Pt/Ti3AlC2. The structure‐activity relationship analysis reveals that the introduction of LiF substantially enhanced the hydrogen adsorption capacity of the catalyst and further improved the performance of the catalysts. Moreover, this LiF‐added strategy is also applicable to other Pt‐based catalysts such as Pt/Al2O3 and Pt/activated carbon. Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of survival in patients with high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (HR-MDS) and provide a reference for the clinical prognosis of patients with HR-MDS. Methods General data, blood routine test, bone marrow smear With histopathology, cytogenetics, and other clinical data of 200 patients diagnosed with HR-MDS at Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, during the period of January 2016-September 2022, were retrospectively analyzed. The included patients were categorized into the arsenic-containing herbal combination combined with demethylating agents (HMAs) treatment group and the arsenic-containing Chinese medicine compound combined with androgen treatment group. The influence of clinical indices on the survival characteristics of each group was analyzed. Results Comparison of the impact of clinical indicators on survival in 200 patients with HR-MDS who were treated with arsenic-containing herbal compounds in combination with HMAs or androgens showed that high-risk vs. very high-risk (P=0.018), hemoglobin (Hb) < 80 g/L vs. Hb ≥80 g/L (P=0.035), platelet (PLT) counts < 50 x 109 L-1 vs. PLT counts ≥50 x 109 L-1 (P < 0.001), and the difference in median progression-free survival (PFS) time between myelodysplastic syndromes converted to leukemia (MDS-AML) and non-MDS-AML (P=0.003) were statistically significant. Comparison of survival effects of clinical indicators in 68 patients with HR-MDS who were treated with arsenic-containing Chinese medicine compound combined with HMAs showed that the difference in median PFS between PLT count < 50 x 109 L-1 and PLT count ≥50 x 109 L-1 (P < 0.001) and the difference in median PFS between < 5 and ≥5 courses of chemotherapy (P=0.018) were statistically significant. Comparison of survival effects of clinical indicators in 132 patients with HR-MDS who were treated with arsenic-containing Chinese medicine compound combined with androgens showed that Hb < 80 g/L and Hg ≥80 g/L (P=0.028), PLT count < 50 x 109 L-1 and PLT count ≥50 x 109 L-1 (P=0.002), and the mean differences in PFS between MDS-AML and non-MDS-AML (P=0.024) were statistically significant. Conclusion The clinical characteristics of long-surviving patients treated with arsenic-containing herbal combination in combination with HMAs included PLT counts ≥50 x 109 L-1 and ≥5 courses of chemotherapy. The clinical characteristics of long-surviving patients treated with arsenic-containing herbal combination in combination with androgens included Hg ≥80 g/L, PLT count ≥50 x 109 L-1, and non-MDS-AML.
