How to make full use of existing information to improve the accuracy of fault diagnosis in distribution networks, and provide accurate research and judgement for emergency repair of distribution networks, is an urgent problem to be solved. To address the problem of the single source of fault diagnosis information in existing distribution networks, a fault diagnosis model of distribution network is proposed which integrates the medium and low voltage information of the distribution networks and the outgoing current information of the substation. The model first applies the existing overcurrent diagnosis method to the problem of large-scale distribution network, and adopts hierarchical reduction of the size of the distribution networks to improve the location speed of fault section. Then, in view of the accuracy of overcurrent alarm information, an auxiliary fault judgment method for distribution networks based on switch relay protection sequence of events (SOE) data and substation outgoing load sag data is proposed. Finally, the steps for fault diagnosis in distribution networks of multi-directional information and data fusion in practical engineering are summarized, which provides reference for fault diagnosis of dispatchers. Engineering practice proves that the method proposed in this paper can effectively diagnose faults and is very adaptable to large-scale distribution networks. The auxiliary diagnosis model combining switch operation SOE and telemetering voltage information can compensate for the accuracy requirements of the overcurrent diagnosis model for remote communication information, which is complementary to each other and has a good engineering value.

Manganese toxicity is a major obstacle to agriculture in acid soils. Dark pericarp disease (DPD) is a newly spread physiological disorder induced by excess Mn in litchi, leading to undesirable fruit appearance and substantial economic loss. In this work, broadcast of alkaline soil conditioner in winter, followed by foliar sprays of ascorbic acid and sulfur solution at fruit development, was adopted to examine the effect of these combinations on DPD alleviation in a litchi orchard, with DPD morbidities of 70~85% in recent ten years. The combination of soil conditioner broadcast and foliar water spray was used as the control. At harvest, DPD incidence was significantly decreased by sulfur spray (3.3 ± 1.0%) and slightly reduced by ascorbic acid spray (10.7 ± 8.0%) compared to the control (12.9 ± 7.6%). Soil pH and available Mn were significantly increased and reduced by the soil conditioner broadcast. Sulfur spray significantly inhibited Mn uptake but enhanced the accumulation of Mg, Ca, sugars and cyanidin-3-rutinoside in the pericarp, leading to improved fruit pigmentation. Antioxidase activities were regulated to resist Mn stress by sulfur spray. The spray of ascorbic acid could not mitigate DPD as expected, probably due to the dose used. For problem of inconvenient energy supplement of node in ZigBee wireless sensor network of underground coal mine, a ZigBee routing algorithm adapted to underground coal mine was proposed. In the algorithm, neighbor table is adopted to reduce data transmission hops among nodes, and residual energy of node in the network is sufficiently utilized by use of dynamic control of node residual energy threshold. The simulation results show that the algorithm reduces energy consumption of node in routing process and extends running time of the network.

Background: Macrophages play important roles in renal fibrosis, partially by sensing mechanical forces, including shear stress and increased stiffness. The mechanically activated cationic channel Piezo1 drives vascular formation and blood pressure regulation to inflammatory responses, or cancer, but its role in macrophages in fibrotic kidney is elusive. Here, we hypothesized that Piezo1 in macrophages may have functions in renal fibrosis.Methods: We established a genetically engineered mouse model with Piezo1 specific knockout in myeloid cells and challenged with unilateral ureteric obstruction operation and folic acid treatment to induce the renal fibrosis, aiming to investigate the function of the mechanical-sensitive protein Piezo1 in macrophages in renal fibrosis and its underlying mechanisms.Results: Myeloid Piezo1 was indispensable for renal fibrosis generation. Piezo1 gene deletion in the myeloid lineage was protective in mice with renal fibrosis. Further analyses revealed that macrophage accumulation in the injured kidney depended on the Piezo1-regulated C-C motif chemokine ligand 2, C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 pathway, and Notch signaling cascade. Moreover, Piezo1 deletion restrained macrophage inflammation and consequently suppressed kidney fibrosis and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. In vitro assays showed that Piezo1 deficiency blocked lipopolysaccharide and Piezo1 activation-induced inflammatory responses in bone marrow-derived macrophages. Mechanistically, Piezo1 regulated inflammation through the Ca2+-dependent intracellular cysteine protease, as the pharmacological inhibition of calpain blocked the proinflammatory role of Piezo1.Conclusions: This study characterized the important function of Piezo1 in renal fibrosis. Targeting the Piezo1 channels by genetic or pharmacological manipulations may be a promising strategy for the treatment of renal fibrosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
