9. La représentation graphique de la prosodie émotionnelle dans la BD franco-belge

Abstract

Cette proposition de communication a pour but d’expliquer comment la prosodie émotionnelle, en passant par le principe phonographique, est représentée par la substance graphique dans un texte multimodal doté de moindre de littéralité comme la BD. Les modèles de mesure des variations matérielles de la prosodie des émotions basiques (colère, tristesse, joie, peur et surprisse) permettent de construire un protocole dans le codage d’une émotion selon les changements de paramètres acoustiques et ainsi de comprendre les variations prosodiques à représenter graphiquement. Après avoir cité les exemples concrets des représentations graphiques des émotions basiques dans les BD francobelges, nous pouvons en conclure que le codage idéographique dans la BD se compose de deux phénomènes : diagramme et icône. Cette notation présentant quelque consensus de configurations graphiques, reste néanmoins imparfaite, non-conventionnelle, mais laisse le libre choix aux auteurs.

Abstract

Summary: Rice grain is a poor dietary source of zinc (Zn) but the primary source of cadmium (Cd) for humans; however, the molecular mechanisms for their accumulation in rice grain remain incompletely understood.This study functionally characterized a tonoplast‐localized transporter, OsMTP1. OsMTP1 was preferentially expressed in the roots, aleurone layer, and embryo of seeds. OsMTP1 knockout decreased Zn concentration in the root cell sap, roots, aleurone layer and embryo, and subsequently increased Zn concentration in shoots and polished rice (endosperm) without yield penalty. OsMTP1 haplotype analysis revealed elite alleles associated with increased Zn level in polished rice, mostly because of the decreased OsMTP1 transcripts.OsMTP1 expression in yeast enhanced Zn tolerance but did not affect that of Cd. While OsMTP1 knockout resulted in decreased uptake, translocation and accumulation of Cd in plant and rice grain, which could be attributed to the indirect effects of altered Zn accumulation.Our results suggest that rice OsMTP1 primarily functions as a tonoplast‐localized transporter for sequestrating Zn into vacuole. OsMTP1 knockout elevated Zn concentration but prevented Cd deposition in polished rice without yield penalty. Abstract

Transformer fluid directly affects the working state of the components and the cooling efficiency of transformer. There are three kinds of transformer fluid used for electric locomotive, EMU and suburban rail vehicles: mineral oil, silicone liquid and synthetic ester based insulating oil. In this paper, the three kinds of oil are compared from the fire safety, environmental protection, reliability and low maintenance. It provides a strong basis for the selection of transformer fluid. By comprehensive analysis, synthetic ester based insulating oil can completely replace mineral oil and silicone liquid. With rail transport safety and environmental protection standards improving, synthetic ester based insulating oil will be the best choice for transformer.

22. MicroRNA-29 family functions as a tumor suppressor by targeting RPS15A and regulating cell cycle in hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract

Growing evidence shows that miRNA plays an important role in the development and progression of cancer. In this study, we found that the expression levels of miR-29 family were dramatically decreased in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines and clinical tissues. Then, we demonstrated that ectopic expression of miR-29 family could significantly suppress cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in HCC cells. Luciferase assay together with western blot assay confirmed that miR-29 family bound directly to the 3'-untranslated region (3'-UTR) of RPS15A and reduced the expression of RPS15A. In addition, the cell cycle related gene including cyclinA, cyclin D1 and p21 were also down-regulated when increased the expression of miR-29 family, which is similar as silencing RPS15A expression. Moreover, co-transfection of miR-29 mimics with 3'UTR-deleted RPS15A could rescue the expressions of cyclin A and cyclin D1 while down-regulate the p21 expression. In conclusion, miR-29 family functions as a novel tumor suppressor in HCC by regulate cell growth and cell cycle through binding to RPS15A 3'UTR. These findings may be utilized in developing novel therapeutic tools for HCC.

Abstract

Heterosis is a phenomenon whereby hybrids of inbred lines produce favourable phenotypes that exceed those of their parents. Traits of interest are higher yield and stronger stress tolerance. The two-line super-hybrid rice 'Liangyoupei9' ( LYP9) shows superiority to both its elite inbred line '93-11' and 'Pei'ai64s' (' PA64s') parents and conventional hybrids. However, the genetic basis of its hybrid vigour, especially yield determination, remains elusive. In the present study, a set of 156 chromosome segment substitution lines ( CSSLs) carrying overlapping segments from ' PA64s' in a genetic background of '93-11' were constructed and planted in six environments. Three major agronomic traits, viz. panicle length ( PL), heading date ( HD) and plant height ( PH), and five yield-related traits, viz. grain weight per panicle ( GWP), number of grains per panicle ( GPP), 1000-grain weight ( TGW), seed set ( SS) and number of panicles of per plant ( PPP), were evaluated over 3 years. Quantitative trait loci ( QTL) analysis was conducted using a likelihood ratio test based on stepwise regression. Forty-six putative QTL distributed on 11 chromosomes were detected in more than one year. Remarkably, GWP of four CSSLs carrying positive yield QTL outperformed the recurrent parent '93-11' by more than 15%, in at least two environments. These results indicate that CSSLs are effective in identifying yield-associated traits, and lines harbouring such QTL will be rich in resources for future molecular breeding programmes.
