To enhance the rapid switching ability of the boiler load and reduce NOx emissions, a new combustion system was implemented in a 600‐MWe wall‐fired boiler with swirl burners. This system included two levels of overfire air (OFA) and low NOx combustion technology. Industrial tests were conducted at 300‐, 450‐, and 600‐MWe loads before and after the retrofitted. These tests included measuring flue gas and furnace temperatures with thermocouples and analyzing local gas concentrations using a gas analyzer. The research results indicate that under conditions where the OFA ratio exceeds 30%, the burner exhibits good ignition performance at different loads. At the 600‐MWe load, the nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions were reduced by 55% compared to before the retrofit. After the retrofit, the flame center inside the furnace of different loads was located at the height of 33.36 m, the first and second‐stage cooling water quantities were slightly higher, the reheat cooling water quantity was greatly reduced after the retrofit, and contributes to the boiler's safe operation. Under different load conditions after the retrofit, the gas temperature near the sidewall was below 850°C, and the O2 concentration near the sidewall was above 5%, effectively suppressing sidewall high‐temperature corrosion and slagging. Based on Fluent software, a mathematical model of thermosyphon pump is established and numerical simulation is carried out to study the influence of riser tube length, tube diameter and immersion ratio on liquid lifting capacity and efficiency. The results showed that: the liquid lifting volume increased with the increase of immersion ratio, whereas the lifting efficiency showed a trend of increasing followed by decreasing. The highest lifting efficiency for a 340mm long, 6mm diameter riser achieved when the immersion ratio is 0.35. With the increasing of the height in riser, the velocity of the gas phase close to the wall in the thermosyphon pump was higher than the velocity along the radial direction. In order to enhance fluid interchange, corners of the refrigeration box were designed to be arc-shaped with a higher corner speed and lower temperature.

In this work, two different monomers M1 and M2 were designed and synthesized. M1 + M2 + Zn(OTf)2 could self-assemble to form a supramolecular crosslinked polymer (SCP) based on complementary terpyridine-based metal coordination interaction. The self-assembly of M1 + M2 + Zn(OTf)2 was studied by various techniques, such as 1H NMR, 2D COSY NMR, 2D NOESY NMR, UV-Vis analysis, fluorescence analysis, viscosity measurement, and TEM. The experimental result indicated that the molecular weight of the SCP depended on the initial monomer concentration. The SCP could further turn into supramolecular polymer gel at high concentrations, and the reversible gel–sol transformation could be realized by heating/cooling. Moreover, the fluorescence quenching/enhancement of the SCP could be adjusted by adding base/acid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
