The Longmen Shan fold and thrust belt, situated on the eastern margin of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, is prone to disasters like earthquakes and debris flows. Thus, applying rapid assessment methods for emergency water sources in disaster-affected areas is crucial for local populations and ensuring an effective response to disasters. In this study, we employed electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) to investigate groundwater resources in post-disaster regions. By integrating the results from ERT profiles with geological and borehole information, we determined the lithology and depth of aquifers. Additionally, we analyzed groundwater recharge and discharge patterns relative to surface water during various precipitation periods and generated a hydrogeological profile for the region. Borehole information confirmed our inferred lithology and aquifer depth, thereby ensuring a reliable water supply during emergencies. This study demonstrates the feasibility of ERT for rapidly identifying water resources in geologically complex environments, providing a scientific foundation for water resource management in disaster-prone regions. The current study aimed to investigate the mediating role of loneliness, ASMR, on the relationship between narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy and anxiety disorder. The population of the study was professionals working in public and private sector organizations. Non-probability snowball technique was used. Data was collected from 512 professionals. A total of 653 questionnaires were distributed and 512 were used in the analysis yielding a response rate of 78.4%. PLS-SEM was used to analyze the data. Measurement and structural models were developed to test the reliability, and validity of the scales as well as hypotheses. Findings of the measurement model revealed that scales were reliable and valid while results of the structural model revealed that narcissism, psychopathy, COVID loneliness, and ASMR have a significant direct impact on anxiety disorder but Machiavellianism does not have a significant effect on anxiety disorder. In addition, COVID loneliness and ASMR mediated between narcissism and psychopathy but do not significantly mediate between Machiavellianism and anxiety disorder. The current study has extended the body of knowledge by bridging the two theories theory of attachment and cognitive dissonance theory. The current study has provided the primary evidence that COVID loneliness increases anxiety while ASMR (audio-visual) tingling sensations help to reduce anxiety disorder.

The themes in higher education research in different countries vary to some extent. This research takes 15 SSCI journals of higher education as examples. A scientometric method was used to classify the themes in higher education research, and a vector space model was employed to calculate the similarities in different countries active in the research hot spots in the cognate area. The results show that the top five ranked keywords of higher education research are assessment, university, sustainability, feedback, and diversity. Higher education research was classified into 20 areas, and different countries were focused on different areas. The number of publications was mainly led by the USA, the UK, and Australia. The most similar countries in the higher education research field were Australia and the UK. European countries had a higher similarity in higher education research with each other, but the similarity between Asian countries was very low. The similarity between different countries exhibited different characteristics, which has important significance for the development of higher education research.

Nutrient content fluctuation in dairy production slurry is highly influenced by the various treatment processes applied in the Chinese dairy sector. The dynamic measurement of these contents is critical for the practical and efficient field application of slurry subjected to various processes. In the study, a total of 715 slurry samples were collected from 24 intensive dairy farms in Tianjin subjected to three typical treatment processes. Descriptive statistical analysis, principal component analysis, and partial least square regression were used to investigate the variation in total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) contents, spectral characteristics, and the performance of the prediction model of the slurry under the processes, respectively. Results revealed significant differences in both TN and TP contents along with the spectra for the slurry subjected to different treatment processes. All the inter-process models showed poor performance, and the results were worse compared to the intra-process models. Among the intra-process models for TN, the optimally performing models were the Pac fusion model (R2pred = 0.82; RPD = 2.38) and the single model Pa (R2pred = 0.83; RPD = 2.31). Among the intra-process models for TP, the optimum results were seen for Pab (R2pred = 0.77; RPD = 2.07) and Pa (R2pred = 0.79; RPD = 2.30). Taking different treatment processes into consideration is essential to establish flexible models that can be adaptive for diversified scenarios. This would be helpful to improve the tracking monitor measures, efficiently guide the land application of slurry, and support the sustainable development of animal farming and environmental conversation.
