This paper creatively proposes a new process with desulfurization slag leached by ammonium chloride as pretreatment, and the main point of this paper lies in the processing of desulfurization residue leached by ammonium chloride. Through component analysis the formula is adjusted with high aluminum coal ash and glass cullet, making the melting point of the reduction slag around 1200℃, which facilitates the separation of iron and slag. At the same time, the reduction slag is adjusted to the target crystallization phase, so that the high temperature reduction slag after carbon thermal reduction can be used to produce glass-ceramics directly. The results show that iron recovery rate is over 99%, and diopside and nepheline glass-ceramics are produced, which shows that the new process is feasible. However, the crystal growth index is less than 3, which means that the crystallization capacity of the glass-ceramics is low, and nucleating agent is needed in the preparation of glass-ceramics.

The analysis of grain starch content is one of the main indices to determine crop quality. The experiment was performed using two broomcorn millet varieties (Neimi 2 and Ningmi 14) in northern China, having 5 different sowing dates. The prediction models for grain starch fraction were constructed by integrating the spectral models and grain starch content with leaf water content using the intersection approach. We have identified 468, 630, 806, and 1488 nm as characteristic bands of the first derivative spectrum having a positive correlation. The correlation coefficient between the vegetation index of 608 nm and 1488 nm was significantly higher than other characteristic bands regarding leaf water contents. It is therefore identified that RDVI (1488, 806) could be used effectively to monitor leaf water content of broomcorn millet under different sowing date treatments, R² = 0.7075, RMSE = 0.073, RPD = 1.430 in the calibration set, R² = 0.8458, RMSE = 0.042, RPD = 2.546 in the validation set. In addition, the monitoring models of RVI (1488, 806), RDVI (1488, 806), and PVI (1488, 806) were superior to other models, and RPD was 0.020, 1.978, and 1.904, respectively. Overall, the RDVI (1488, 806) monitoring model, due to its stability and higher accuracy provided precise data on the grain starch fraction of broomcorn millet. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

ABA-stress-ripening (ASR) protein is a hydrophilic plant-specific protein and plays an indispensable role in plant abiotic stress. However, the study of the ASR gene family of millet has not yet been completed. In this study, we identified six members of the ASR family of millet and analyzed their genetic structure, protein alignment and phylogenetic relationships. The PmASR protein was found to contain highly conserved motifs and the millet ASR gene was divided into three groups, namely (1) PmASR1, PmASR2, PmASR5; (2) PmASR3; (3) PmASR4, PmASR6. Three sets of representative ASR gene clones were selected and the transcriptional profiles of PmASR1, 3, 4 genes in various tissues or under different abiotic stresses were quantitatively analyzed by fluorescence. The results showed that the PmASR1 and PmASR3 genes were mainly up-regulated in roots while PmASR4 gene was mainly up-regulated in leaves. And the expression of ASR genes is different under at least one. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ASR gene family in millet was an abiotic stress response gene. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recently, instantaneous optimal control algorithms were proposed and developed for applications to control of seismically excited linear, nonlinear, and hysteretic structural systems. In particular, these control algorithms are suitable for aseismic hybrid control systems, for which the linear quadratic optimal control theory is not applicable. Within the framework of instantaneous optimal control, the weighting matrix Q should be assigned to guarantee the stability of the controlled structure. A systematic way of assigning the weighting matrix by use of the Lyapunov direct method is investigated. Based on the Lyapunov method, several possible choices for the weighting matrix are presented, and their control performances are examined and compared for active and hybrid control systems under seismic loads. It is shown that the performance of the stable controllers presented herein are remarkable.

The coupling characteristics of the 4.6 GHz lower hybrid (LH) grill and the factors affecting LH wave coupling, mainly drift, with divertor configuration in anti-clockwise/clockwise magnetic field direction are studied. Based on the Langmuir probe measurement, the relationship between the reflection coefficient (RC) of LH power and the edge density at the grill mouth () measured by Langmuir probes is investigated. The optimum LH wave coupling with RC less than 2% is achieved when is in the range of – , which is quite close to the theoretically predicted value. In addition, the experimental results show that drift in the divertor scrape off layer plays a dominant role in affecting and LH wave coupling. Studies show that the discrepancy in and LH wave coupling in different magnetic field directions is mainly attributed to the different directions of drift, whereas the corresponding discrepancy with different plasma currents is mainly ascribed to the change in drift intensity. Therefore, for the upper single null divertor configuration, a lower/higher plasma currents is more favorable for increasing and improving LH wave coupling in anti-clockwise/clockwise. The above studies are of great significance for optimizing and improving LH wave coupling in the extension of the plasma operation regime. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
