The low-carbon transformation of decommissioned offshore oil and gas platforms is an optimal model for intensive resource utilization and for fully exploiting the economic and ecological benefits of decommissioned platforms. It is also an important measure to maintain and enhance the carbon reduction capacity of the marine sector. However, the green and low-carbon development process in China’s marine sector is just beginning, and the low-carbon transformation of decommissioned offshore oil and gas platforms mostly remains at the conceptual stage, urgently requiring practical and feasible comprehensive transformation plans based on low-carbon technologies. This study completes a survey and analysis of the current status of the disposal of decommissioned oil and gas platforms in China and the level of low-carbon technologies. It proposes a main form of transformation for constructing an offshore carbon recycling hub and three low-carbon transformation routes, clarifying key engineering implementation strategies for platform transformation, including platform safety assessment, selection strategies for transformation plans, and full lifecycle environmental protection. In response to practical issues such as the lack of regulations and policies for platform transformation, shortcomings in the application of low-carbon technologies in the marine sector, and unclear cross-industry cooperation mechanisms, it is recommended to improve platform transformation regulations and guiding policies. It is also necessary to focus on the offshore application performance of core technical equipment, optimize theoretical support for technology, and accelerate the transformation of domestic equipment. Priority should be given to carrying out demonstration projects for the transformation of decommissioned platforms to promote the low-carbon transformation process of decommissioned offshore platforms in China.

To strengthen its energy sector and realize the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, China needs to accelerate the construction of a modern energy system, transform its energy development mode, and improve its energy production support capabilities. The integration and complementarity of multiple energy sources is an effective concept and scheme to solve the separation of energy subsystems, optimize the energy pattern, and improve the efficiency of clean energy utilization. Based on the analysis of the existing modes of multi-energy integration, this study summarizes the development status and bottlenecks of multi-energy integration in China and the development trend of multi-energy integration in other countries. Considering existing models, a new multi-energy integration model that integrates energy conversion, complementarity, reuse, and zero-carbon production is proposed to achieve the clean and efficient utilization of energy. To promote the planning, construction, and practice of multi-energy integration in China, we further propose a basic development path and the following suggestions: (1) formulating a medium- and long-term plan to support multienergy integration based on resource endowment, (2) accelerating the breakthroughs in key core technologies for multi-energy

In order to investigate the hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of the low-grade pipeline steel in medium-pressure hydrogen environment，the hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of L245 steel in air environment and 4 MPa hydrogen environment was studied by smooth and notched slow tensile tests，combined with macroscopic and microscopic fracture characterization and analysis.Results showed that the loss rates of tensile strength，area reduction，and elongation of the L245 steel smooth samples under slow stretching in 4 MPa hydrogen were 5.2%，4.8%，and -0.1%，respectively.However，the loss rates of tensile strength，area reduction and tensile displacement of the notched samples under slow stretching in 4 MPa hydrogen were 19.1%，45.6%and 15.4%，respectively，indicating the occurrence of hydrogen embrittlement.The slow tensile fracture mode of the L245 steel smooth sample in air was ductile fracture.After the notch was opened，the crack source of the smooth samples started at a certain position of the notch and expanded inward in the way of quasi-cleavage fracture，accelerating the fracture process of the sample，but the overall fracture method was still ductile fracture.In contrast，the crack source generated at the necking position when the L245 steel smooth sample was exposed to 4 MPa hydrogen.After the notch was opened，a significant increase in the quasi-cleavage fracture area generated from the notch position towards the interior，which rapidly accelerated the fracture process，and the hydrogen-induced ductile fracture occurred in the center.The fracture mode of L245 steel after notch opening in 4 MPa hydrogen gas was a combination of quasicleavage fracture and hydrogen induced ductile fracture.

Although the relationship between vaginal microorganisms and fertility has been well established, only few studies have investigated vaginal microorganisms in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). Our aim was to study the differences in vaginal microbiota between infertile women with repeated implantation failure (RIF) and those who achieved clinical pregnancy in their first frozen embryo transfer cycle. We compared the vaginal microbiota of patients with a history of RIF (n = 37) with that of the control group (n = 43). Following DNA extraction, metagenomic sequencing was employed for the analysis of alpha and beta diversities, distinctions in bacterial species, and the functional annotation of microbial genes. Furthermore, disparities between the two groups were revealed. Alpha diversity analysis revealed that the Shannon index was higher in the RIF group (P < 0.05). There were differences in the beta diversity between groups (P = 0.16). At the bacterial family level, the relative abundance of Actinomycetaceae (P = 0.013) and Ruminococcaceae (P = 0.013) were significantly higher in the RIF group. At the genus level, the abundances of Actinomyces (P = 0.028) and Subdoligranulum (P = 0.013) were significantly higher in the RIF group. At the species level, the abundances of Prevotella timonensis (P = 0.028), Lactobacillus jensenii (P = 0.049), and Subdoligranulum (P = 0.013) were significantly higher in the RIF group. Significant differences in family, genus, species, alpha and beta diversity were observed in the vaginal microbiota between groups. Notably, among these findings, the Subdoligranulum genus emerged as the most prominent correlating factor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Milking methods have significant impacts on the microbiological composition, which could affect the quality of raw buffalo milk. Hence, the current study was conducted on the impact of milking methods on microorganisms in buffalo tank raw milk from 15 farms in Guangxi, China. The farms were divided into two groups based on the milking method: mechanical milking (MM, n = 6) and hand milking (HM, n = 9). Somatic cell counts, bacterial cell counts and nutrients of the raw buffalo milk samples were analyzed. The comparison of raw buffalo milk samples was analyzed using metagenomic sequencing to detect any differences between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the basic nutritional compositions and somatic cell count of raw buffalo milk between the two milking methods. However, the HM samples had significantly higher bacterial counts and diversity compared to the MM samples. The results showed that Staphylococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., Streptococcus spp., and Pseudomonas spp. were the major microbes present in canned raw buffalo milk. However, the differences between the two milking methods were the relative abundance of core microorganisms and their potential mastitis-causing genera, including the content of antibiotic-resistance genes and virulence genes. Our study revealed that Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. were significantly more abundant in the MM group, while Klebsiella spp. was more abundant in the HM group. Regardless of the milking method used, Pseudomonas spp. was identified as the primary genus contributing to antibiotic resistance and virulence genes in canned raw buffalo milk. These findings affirm that there are differences in the microbial and genomic levels in canned raw milk. To prove the functional roles of the discovered genes and how these genes affect milk quality, further research and experimental validation are necessary. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
