BackgroundMedical crowdfunding utilizes the internet to raise medical funds. Medical crowdfunding has developed rapidly worldwide; however, most medical crowdfunding projects fail to raise the targeted funds. Therefore, a very important research problem that has not received sufficient attention from the existing literature is identifying which factors affect the success of medical crowdfunding projects. ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to examine the effect of textual features of medical crowdfunding projects on their success rate using 4903 real projects from the Tencent Charity platform, a well-known medical crowdfunding platform in China. In particular, according to Aristotle’s theory of persuasion, we divided the project text of medical crowdfunding into the project title and project details, which were analyzed from two perspectives (existence and extent) to explore their respective impacts. MethodsWe established a research framework to meet our research goals. The process was divided into five main parts. We first collected data from Tencent Charity using Python programs and cleaned the datasets. Second, we selected variables and built the research model based on previous studies and the theory of persuasion. Next, the selected variables were extracted from the project text. We then performed econometric analysis using multiple regression analysis. Finally, we evaluated the results of econometric analysis to extract knowledge. Background With the change of modern lifestyle and the aggravation of social aging, the incidence of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is increasing year by year, which has become a major problem threatening the health of middle-aged and elderly men. At present, western medicine is mainly based on surgery and oral drugs treatment, which has certain adverse reactions and complications. However, the clinical application of filiform acupuncture in the treatment of BPH has a significant effect, but there is a lack of evidence-based evidence. Objective To systematically review the clinical efficacy of acupuncture therapy in treating BPH. Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on acupuncture for BPH were retrieved from CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data, SinoMed, PubMed and Cochrane Library by computer from inception to October1, 2021, including the experimental group treated by acupuncture, with or without the drugs used in the control group and the control group treated by conventional western medicine. According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, the literature was extracted and evaluated by using RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 17 articles and 1 547 patients were included. Acoustic emission on-line detection method was used to obtain the acoustic emission information of the tank bottom. Combined with the parameters of the tank itself, a genetic algorithm(GA) and BP neural network were combined to establish a model to evaluate the corrosion of the tank. BP neural network evaluation model and GA-BP network evaluation model were established respectively, and the results of the two models were compared. The results show that the GA-BP corrosion evaluation model of the tank bottom has better adaptability and higher prediction accuracy than the BP neural network evaluation model alone. The experiment has reference value for the on-line detection of atmospheric tank corrosion, and provides support for China′s independent research and development of acoustic emission detection system of atmospheric pressure metal storage tanks.

BACKGROUND: Wheat powdery mildew, caused by the biotrophic pathogen Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici (Bgt) is a serious fungal disease. Natural metabolites produced by microorganisms are beneficial biological control agents to inhibit Bgt. In the present study, we investigated the effects of Aspergillus chevalieri BYST01 on wheat powdery mildew. RESULTS: A strain isolated from the termite was identified as A. chevalieri BYST01 by morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis. The fermentation broth of BYST01 showed good biocontrol effect on the Bgt in vivo with the control efficiencies of 81.59% and 71.34% under the protective and therapeutic tests, respectively. Four known metabolites, including the main compound physcion (30 mg/L), were isolated from the fermentation broth of BYST01 extracted with ethyl acetate. Importantly, under a concentration of 0.1 mM, physcion repressed conidial germination of Bgt with an inhibition rate of 77.04% in vitro and showed important control efficiencies of 80.36% and 74.64% in vivo under the protective and therapeutic tests, respectively. Hence, the BYST01 showed important potential as a microbial cell factory for the high yield of the green natural fungicide physcion. Finally, the biosynthetic gene clusters responsible for physicon production in BYST01 was predicted by analyzing a chromosome‐scale genome obtained using a combination of Illumina, PacBio, and Hi‐C sequencing technologies. CONCLUSION: Aspergillus chevalieri BYST01 and its main metabolite physcion had a significant control effect on wheat powdery mildew. This study used a mixed method to investigate the dual effects of the flow experience provided by tourism live streaming (TLS) on tourists' travel intentions and how such effects vary across different types of destinations. The results reveal that, in contrast to managers' predictions, while flow experience from TLS may boost offline travel through inspiration, it can also increase tourists' concern for substitutability and thereby reduce their travel intentions. Live streamers' expertise positively moderates the positive effect of flow experience on inspiration. Furthermore, the negative impacts are more salient in highly reputable cultural destinations and natural destinations with limited reputation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to report on users' information behaviour in China, a topic which has not been researched extensively. The aim is to help producers and providers collect and develop more electronic resources. Design/methodology/approach: The study investigates users' information behaviour at seven "211 Project" universities in Wuhan, a city in central China. These universities all have access to the resources of the National Science and Technology Library (NSTL). The questionnaire includes questions about respondents' basic identifying information (educational level, job, etc.) and their information service requirements. Correlations among users' education level, users' jobs, users' retrieval methods, literature use, etc. were analysed. Findings: The results show that most NSTL users are graduate students and young staff members. and the number of male users surpasses female ones slightly. The purpose of the utilisation of electronic resources for customers is scientific research, teaching and the need for self-development. During a year, the demand of users is the highest in March and the lowest in August. The users' knowledge service types include learning the progress of science and technology, citation retrieval and analysis, statistical analysis, intelligent retrieval and knowledge aggregation. Practical implications: The findings suggest that electronic resource producers should offer more foreign literature and providers should improve the quality of services. Originality/value: The paper provides suggestions for the further improvement of NSTL to fulfill the information needs and requirements of users. (Contains 4 figures and 1 table.)

This purpose of this study is to develop a research model by extending the theory of planned behavior in a new application context and apply it to investigate the extrinsic factors influencing people's attitudes towards donating to medical crowdfunding projects appearing on mobile social networking sites (MSNS) and their intention to donate. A survey of 356 Chinese users was conducted and structural equation modeling was used to validate the proposed model and hypotheses. The results indicate that project information, retweeter information, and MSNS information all have a significant effect on the general attitude towards donating to medical crowdfunding projects, and general attitude positively affects people's donation intention. In addition, perceived behavioral control also has a positive effect on people's donation intention, while experienced donating to medical crowdfunding projects has a negative effect on people's donation intention.
