Highlights Carbon nanotube (CNT)‐polyetherimide (PEI) hybrid nanofibrous veils were prepared through the electrospinning process to function as an interlayer in carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites (CFRP), and the effects of the addition of the hybrid fiber veils on the interlaminar fracture properties and flexural properties of CFRP were investigated. The results showed that interleaving CNT/PEI hybrid veils can effectively avoid long‐troubled trade‐off between mode‐I interlaminar fracture toughness and in‐plane properties when using thermoplastic toughening materials. Specifically, the GIc value and flexural strength of the laminates were increased by as much as 86.2% and 14.3%, respectively when CNT content was reached up to 0.7 wt% in CNT/PEI hybrid veil. This method adopts ultra‐low PEI and CNT additions, and the limited quantity of these additives demonstrates a notably high interlaminar toughening efficiency while concurrently enhancing the strength, rendering it a promising strategy for both toughening and strengthening. PEI is used as a carrier to transport CNT to the CFRP interlaminar layers. PEI‐CNT hybrid fiber veils improve GIC and flexural strength of CFRP. Chronic skin wounds, especially infected ones, pose a significant clinical challenge due to their increasing incidence and poor outcomes. The deteriorative microenvironment in such wounds, characterized by reduced extracellular matrix, impaired angiogenesis, insufficient neurogenesis, and persistent bacterial infection, has prompted the exploration of novel therapeutic strategies. In this study, we developed an injectable multifunctional hydrogel (GEL/BG@Cu + Mg) incorporating Gelatin-Tannic acid/ N-hydroxysuccinimide functionalized polyethylene glycol and Bioactive glass doped with copper and magnesium ions to accelerate the healing of infected wounds. The GEL/BG@Cu + Mg hydrogel composite demonstrates good biocompatibility, degradability, and rapid formation of a protective barrier to stop bleeding. Synergistic bactericidal effects are achieved through the photothermal properties of BG@Cu + Mg and sustained copper ions release, with the latter further promoting angiogenesis. Furthermore, the hydrogel enhances neurogenesis by stimulating axons and Schwann cells in the wound bed through the beneficial effects of magnesium ions. Our results demonstrate that the designed novel multifunctional hydrogel holds tremendous promise for treating infected wounds and allowing regenerative neurogenesis at the wound site, which provides a viable alternative for further improving clinical outcomes. Based on the perspective of industry productivity, this article measures the sensitivities of different industries to external public security risks using stochastic frontier analysis, focusing on the relationship between the changes in industries' production line positions triggered by terrorist attacks and the industries' security risk sensitivities. We provide evidence that terrorist attacks have a significant adverse impact on the production line positions of global industries, and the strength of those positions' reactions to terrorist attacks is determined by the degree of the industries' security risk sensitivities. The reactions to terrorist attacks are nonmonotonic across industries' security risk sensitivities, with the largest effects in industries near the seventy-fifth percentile of the distribution. This phenomenon is particularly pronounced in high-income and upper-middle-income countries, and also in regions with economic and trade cooperation agreements. A further decomposition analysis of the different production stages shows that complex global value chain (GVC) activities, especially those that involve domestic value-added re-exports to third countries, are more vulnerable to negative shocks from terrorist attacks. Elevated temperatures and pressures in high-efficiency engines increases the risk of thermomechanical fatigue (TMF), constraining the utilization of aluminum cast alloys. Comprehensive understanding of TMF behavior is crucial for safety design of engine components. In this study, the out-of-phase thermomechanical fatigue (OP-TMF) performance of a newly developed AlSi9Cu3.5 cast alloy intended for use in critical engine components was investigated with a temperature cycling between 60 and 300 ℃ and strain amplitudes ranging from 0.2 to 0.6%. During the fatigue process, cyclic stress softening occurred in the tested alloy owing to the coarsening of the θʹ particles, which were the dominant precipitates in the T7 state prior to the fatigue test. The applied stress accelerated the coarsening process of the precipitates, resulting in a higher coarsening rate constant per cycle. Under TMF loading, plastic deformation was the predominant mechanism governing the fatigue process. As the strain amplitude increased, a decrease in the lifetime of the TMF was observed. Fracture analysis indicated multiple initiation points of fatigue cracks near the sample's surface, including pores, fractured plate-like Si particles, and broken intermetallic particles. A hysteresis energy-based model was successfully applied to the prediction of fatigue life, and the predicted fatigue life agreed well with the experimental data. Compared with the commonly used Al–Si alloys, such as 319 and 356, the new AlSi9Cu3.5 alloy exhibited superior OP-TMF performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The development of medical image classification models necessitates a substantial number of labeled images for model training. In real-world scenarios, sample sizes are typically limited and labeled samples often constitute only a small portion of the dataset. This paper aims to investigate a collaborative similarity learning strategy that optimizes pseudo-labels to enhance model accuracy and expedite its convergence, known as the joint similarity learning framework. By integrating semantic similarity and instance similarity, the pseudo-labels are mutually refined to ensure their quality during initial training. Furthermore, the similarity score is utilized as a weight to guide samples away from misclassification predictions during the classification process. To enhance the model's generalization ability, an adaptive consistency constraint is introduced into the loss function to improve performance on untrained datasets. The model achieved a satisfactory accuracy of 93.65% at 80% labeling ratio, comparable to supervised learning methods' performance. Even with very low labeling ratio (e.g., 5%), the model still attained an accuracy of 74.28%. Comparison with other techniques such as Mean Teacher and FixMatch revealed that our approach significantly outperforms them in medical image classification tasks through improving accuracy by approximately 2%, demonstrating this framework's leadership in medical image classification. The Load-Carrying structure is a crucial element within the satellite framework, directly impacting its overall mechanical performance. Comprised of composite materials, Load-Carrying Structure poses challenges like concealed fault locations, insufficient abnormal sample sets, and limited sensor deployment positions. These challenges result in lower diagnostic accuracy when identifying anomaly behaviors within the satellite's Load-Carrying structure. This study aims to enhance the accuracy and reliability of anomaly detection in Load-Carrying structure through the introduction of a novel method termed RIDLA-PCA. The fundamental concept underlying the proposed method involves constructing a high-precision predictive model utilizing the residual improvement deep learning algorithm. The model determines an upper confidence limit threshold by combining principal component analysis with statistical principles. Residual improvement deep learning algorithm employs Long Short-Term Memory neural networks to capture nonlinear relationships in time series data and iteratively enhances model accuracy by training interactively with measured responses and computed residuals. Subsequently, an effective PCA-based approach computes the detection index for anomaly detection and establishes the upper confidence limit threshold using the upper quartile of Detection Index. By comparing calculated detection index values from measured data with the upper confidence limit threshold, the RIDLA-PCA method accurately assesses potential anomalies within the satellite's Load-Carrying structure. The novelty of the proposed RIDLA-PCA method lies in its substantial improvement of prediction model accuracy and its robust methodology for determining the upper confidence limit threshold. Verification of the method's stability and accuracy is conducted using acceleration responses obtained from a random vibration experiment on the satellite's Load-Carrying structure. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), a serum glycoprotein, is expressed during embryonic development and the pathogenesis of liver cancer. It serves as a clinical tumor marker, function as a carcinogen, immune suppressor, and transport vehicle; but the detailed AFP structural information has not yet been reported. In this study, we used single-particle cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM) to analyze the structure of the recombinant AFP obtained a 3.31 Å cryo-EM structure and built an atomic model of AFP. We observed and identified certain structural features of AFP, including N-glycosylation at Asn251, four natural fatty acids bound to distinct domains, and the coordination of metal ions by residues His22, His264, His268, and Asp280. Furthermore, we compared the structural similarities and differences between AFP and human serum albumin. The elucidation of AFP's structural characteristics not only contributes to a deeper understanding of its functional mechanisms, but also provides a structural basis for developing AFP-based drug vehicles. Persistent oxidative stress and bacterial infection are significant challenges that impede diabetic wound healing. By combining diagnosis and treatment, pH variation on the wound tissue can be monitored in real time, and precise treatment can be carried out promptly to promote diabetic wound healing. In this study, a lipoic acid‐modified chitosa (LAMC) hydrogel is constructed via an amidation reaction, and ceria oxide‐molybdenum disulfide nanoparticles with a polydopamine layer (C@M@P), along with carbon quantum dots (CDs) synthesized by a hydrothermal method, are loaded into the hydrogel, thus developing a diagnostic and therapeutic hydrogel (LAMC/CD‐C@M@P). By incorporating CDs, the hydrogel exhibits high sensitivity and reversibility to pH under ultraviolet light. Furthermore, the images of hydrogels can be collected using smartphones and converted into wound pH signals, providing a means for early detection of bacterial infection. Notably, the LAMC/CD‐C@M@P hydrogel exhibits excellent photothermal antibacterial capability against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli and remarkable antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory abilities to alleviate reactive oxygen species and relieve inflammation response. The aging population increased the demand for the development and utilization of bone filling materials. In this study, hydroxyapatite (HAP) and graphene oxide (GO) were introduced into thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) by melt mixing and electron beam radiation to obtain the new hot melt adhesive (TPU/HAP/GO). The structures and morphologies of the TPU/HAP/GO were analyzed using FTIR, XRD, SEM, BET, DSC. The mechanical properties of the TPU/HAP/GO were evaluated using a universal testing machine. TPU/HAP/GO was demonstrated to have good bacterial inhibition by the zone of inhibition test and plate method. The good biocompatibility of the hot melt adhesive was demonstrated using the MTT method and the Hoechst 33342/PI double staining method. The osteogenic differentiation of mouse osteoblasts (MC3T3‐E1) treated with TPU/HAP/GO was detected by alkaline phosphatase (ALP) staining. ALP staining showed that the hot melt adhesive promoted the differentiation of MC3T3‐E1 cells into osteoblasts. This hot melt adhesive had great application potential in bone tissue engineering. This comprehensive review explores the application and impact of digital twin (DT) technology in bolstering the reliability of Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWTs) and their supporting platforms. Within the burgeoning domain of offshore wind energy, this study contextualises the need for heightened reliability measures in FOWTs and elucidates how DT technology serves as a transformative tool to address these concerns. Analysing the existing scholarly literature, the review encompasses insights into the historical reliability landscape, DT deployment methodologies, and their influence on FOWT structures. Findings underscore the pivotal role of DT technology in enhancing FOWT reliability through real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance strategies, resulting in improved operational efficiency and reduced downtime. Highlighting the significance of DT technology as a potent mechanism for fortifying FOWT reliability, the review emphasises its potential to foster a robust operational framework while acknowledging the necessity for continued research to address technical intricacies and regulatory considerations in its integration within offshore wind energy systems. Objective: The clinical efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) after Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is still controversial, and the purpose of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the effect of CBT on pain, knee function, and psychological status of patients after TKA. Methods: We systematically searched electronic databases such as CNKI, CBM, VIP, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and EMBASE for randomized controlled studies up to February 30, 2023. Screening against inclusion criteria to select valid studies and extract data. The quality of included studies was evaluated by the Cochrane Collaboration risk-of-bias 2 (RoB 2) tool for randomized trials. Statistical analysis of the data from this study was carried out using Stata 15.1 software. Results: Finally, our meta-analysis incorporated seven randomized controlled studies of high quality, including 608 patients. The findings of the meta-analysis demonstrated a noteworthy decrease in kinesiophobia levels during the early postoperative phase in the CBT group as compared to the usual care group (WMD = -6.35, 95% CI: -7.98 to -4.72, Z = 7.64, P < 0.001). However, no statistically significant difference between the CBT and usual care groups in terms of postoperative pain as well as knee function. Conclusion: CBT may effectively reduce the level of kinesiophobia in the short term after TKA, but did not significantly relieve knee pain or improve knee function. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Though the impact of urban vegetation on air quality and the microclimate has attracted increasing attention, there have been few studies quantitatively assessing this impact in North China, where air pollution is severe. In this study, we investigated the impact of urban forests and urban parks on air quality and the microclimate in Jinan, northern China. Six sites were chosen to represent urban forest, urban park, and downtown areas, respectively. The results indicate that urban forest can effectively reduce PM2.5 and ozone (O3) concentrations in the warm season, when temperatures are higher and plants are lush. The PM2.5 and O3 concentrations in the urban forest areas were 6.3–6.5 μg m−3 and 21–23 μg m−3 lower than those in downtown areas during the period of 10:00–15:00. In contrast, urban park areas can reduce PM2.5 concentrations but have little impact on gaseous pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide and O3. Furthermore, both urban forest and urban park areas reduced temperatures, by approximately 4.1–6.8 °C and 1.36 °C, respectively, and increased relative humidity, by about 13.4–12.9% and 0.9%, promoting a more comfortable thermal environment for residents. Special structures and good characteristics make 2D iodine structures more appealing and valuable at high pressures. The electrical transport of such 2D iodine structures is theoretically studied here, taking the doping of nonmetal elements into account. Most doped devices show considerably greater equilibrium conductance than the original device. Devices with the dopants in lower atomic numbers show higher conductance. The transmission spectrum all around E F can be improved by the doping of nonmetal elements. Essentially, DDOS can well explain the variations in electron transmission probability caused by the doping of nonmetal atom for most doped devices, serving as one main inherent factor in electron transport. The influence of nonmetal dopants on transmission eigenstates varies according to the main group, essentially depending on the number of transferring channels and the strength of transmission eigenstates. Influenced by the bias, the conductance of such innovative devices fluctuates but with varied amplitudes. Every doping mode can enhance the conductance by applying the bias and such biases for all doping modes must cover lower biases. Unlike the dopants in larger atomic numbers, the devices with the dopants in smaller atomic numbers show much difference in size between the voltage interval that enhances and the voltage interval that weakens. The current grows linearly with bias. Nonmetal doping enables the current to increase at low voltages and decrease at high voltages, compared with the undoped device. The improved and attenuated effect on the current is good for doped devices with nonmetal elements in smaller atomic numbers, but poor in higher atomic numbers. These discoveries contribute significantly to our understanding of the effects of defects and elemental adsorption on electrical characteristics and give strong evidence for the use of new-type 2D iodine materials in controlled electronics and sensors. In recent years, the task of maritime emergency rescue has increased, while the cost of time for traditional methods of search and rescue is pretty long with poor effect subject to the constraints of the complex circumstances around the sea, the effective conditions, and the support capability. This paper applies deep learning and proposes a YOLOv5s‐SwinDS algorithm for target detection in distress at sea. Firstly, the backbone network of the YOLOv5s algorithm is replaced by swin transformer, and a multi‐level feature fusion module is introduced to enhance the feature expression ability for maritime targets. Secondly, deformable convolutional networks v2 (DCNv2) is used instead of traditional convolution to improve the recognition capability for irregular targets when the neck network features are output. Finally, the CIoU loss function is replaced with SIoU to reduce the redundant box effectively while accelerating the convergence and regression of the predicted box. Experimenting on the publicly dataset SeaDronesSee, the Precision$Precision$, Recall$Recall$, mAP0.5$mAP_{0.5}$ and mAP0.5−0.95$mAP_{0.5-0.95}$ of YOLOv5s‐SwinDS model are 87.9%, 75.8%, 79.1% and 42.9%, respectively, which get higher results than the original YOLOv5s model, the YOLOv7 series of models, and the YOLOv8 series of models. The combination of 3D printing, polymer derived ceramics, and electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption metamaterials is particularly useful for spacecraft stealth in extreme environments and is gradually gaining significant interest. While the 3D printing of SiOC has been extensively researched, the high temperature stability and mechanical performance of SiOC are not as favorable as SiCN. However, it remains challenging to prepare SiCN metamaterials with both high mechanical and microwave absorption properties by 3D printing. Herein, we demonstrate a SiCN EMW absorption metamaterial with high mechanical properties using digital light processing 3D printing, which achieves a minimum reflection loss of −31.01 dB (99.9 % absorption), and the widest effective absorption bandwidth covers the entire X-band from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz. In this work, two kinds of microtextured surfaces with different surface peak-valley features, namely positively skewed surface with micropillar array and negatively skewed surface with micropit array, are prepared to explore the effect of peak-valley features on the fluid flow performance in rough contact interface. The distribution and connectivity of microchannels is analyzed, and the physical mechanism of peak-valley features inducing different fluid flow processes is also derived through constructing a kinetic model of fluid spreading. It is found that when the surface skewness Ssk > 0, the positively skewed surface forms the void regions with better connectivity in the interface compared with the negatively skewed surface (Ssk < 0), despite both the surfaces having nearly the same roughness (Sa ∼ 3.6 mm). The formed microchannels are defined as crossed open microchannel and semi-closed microchannel, respectively, and the feature length of the microchannel decreases with the increase in load. The quantitative results of fluid flow demonstrate that the liquid has a better spreading and flow ability in the contact interface of the positively skewed surface. Even under the same microchannel feature length (nearly 48 mm), the fluid spread area ratio of the positively skewed surface has an order of magnitude higher than that of the negatively skewed surface. The mechanism of different flow characteristics induced by surface peak-valley features is believed as the variation of the microchannel shape, leading to the change in the capillary pressure at the meniscus. Background: Tumor‐treating field (TTFields) was a novel antitumor therapy that provided significant survival for previously treated metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer (mNSCLC). The consistency of the cost of the new treatment regimen with its efficacy was the main objective of the study. Methods: The primary parameters, derived from the Phase 3 LUNAR study, were collected to evaluate the cost and efficacy of TTFields plus standard‐of‐care (SOC) (immune checkpoint inhibitors [ICIs] and docetaxel [DTX]) or SOC in patients with mNSCLC by establishing a three‐state Markov model over a 15‐year time horizon. Primary outcome measures for this study included costs, life‐years (LYs), quality‐adjusted LYs (QALYs), and incremental cost‐effectiveness ratios (ICERs). Sensitivity analyses were performed. Results: The total costs of TTFields plus SOC, TTFields plus ICI, and TTFields plus DTX were $319,358, $338,688, and $298,477, generating 1.23 QALYs, 1.58 QALYs, and 0.89 QALYs, respectively. The ICERs of TTFields plus SOC versus SOC, TTFields plus ICI versus ICI, and TTFields plus DTX versus DTX were $613,379/QALY, $387,542/QALY, and $1,359,559/QALY, respectively. At willingness‐to‐pay (WTP) thresholds of $150,000/QALY, the probability of combination TTFields being cost‐effective was 0%. In addition, TTFields plus SOC exhibited similar efficacy (1.12 QALYs and 1.14 QALYs) and costs ($309,822 and $312,531) in the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and non‐squamous cell carcinoma (NSCC) populations. Conclusions: In the United States, TTFields plus SOC as second‐line treatment was not a more cost‐effective strategy for patients with mNSCLC. Polymer-derived SiAlCN ceramics as sensing materials are promising materials for wireless temperature sensors to achieve application in high-temperature harsh environments. However, limited understanding for the electric and dielectric properties of SiAlCN ceramics restricts the development of wireless sensors. Herein, the electrical and dielectric properties of polymer-derived SiAlCN ceramics pyrolyzed at different temperatures are investigated systemically. The results reveal that the electric resistance of the free-carbon phase and amorphous SiAlCN ceramic phase are comparable, however, the dielectric constant of the ceramic phase is much higher than that of the free-carbon phase. The maximum dielectric constant can reach up to 2.4E+5. Furthermore, the detailed mechanism analysis reveals that the SiAlCN ceramics with different pyrolysis temperatures all obey the same relaxation process, which is interfacial polarization and non-Debye relaxation. The deep understanding of the dielectric property of polymer-derived SiAlCN ceramics is very practical to design wireless sensors for potential applications in high-temperature and harsh environments. Assembly sequence planning (ASP) is an indispensable and important step in the intelligent assembly process, and aims to solve the optimal assembly sequence with the shortest assembly time as its optimization goal. This paper focuses on modular cabin construction for large cruise ships, tackling the complexities and challenges of part assembly during the process, based on real engineering problems. It introduces the multiple optimal solutions genetic algorithm (MOSGA). The MOSGA analyzes product constraints and establishes a mathematical model. Firstly, the traditional genetic algorithm (GA) is improved in the case of falling into the local optimum when facing complex problems, so that it can jump out of the local optimum under the condition of satisfying the processing constraints and achieve the global search effect. Secondly, the problem whereby the traditional search algorithm converges to the unique optimal solution is solved, and multiple unique optimal solutions that are more suitable for the actual assembly problem are solved. Thirdly, for a variety of restrictions and emergencies that may occur during the assembly process, the assembly sequence flexible planning (ASFP) method is introduced so that each assembly can be flexibly adjusted. Finally, an example is used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. This method improves the assembly efficiency and the diversity of assembly sequence selection, and can flexibly adjust the assembly sequence, which has important guiding significance for the ASP problem. Changing film thickness to manipulate microstructural properties has been considered as a potential method in practical application. Here, we report that atomic-scale structural properties are regulated by film thickness in an NiCO2O4(NCO)/CuFe2O4(CFO) bilayer heterostructure prepared on (001)-MgAl2O4 (MAO) substrate by means of aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM). The misfit dislocations at the NCO/CFO interface and antiphase boundaries (APBs) bound to dislocations within the films are both found in NCO (40 nm)/CFO (40 nm)/MAO heterostructures, contributing to the relaxation of mismatch lattice strain. In addition, the non-overlapping a/4[101]-APB is found and the structural transformation of this kind of APB is resolved at the atomic scale. In this paper, an adaptive knee joint orthosis with a variable rotation center for biomimetic motion rehabilitation assistance suitable for patients with knee joint movement dysfunction is designed. Based on the kinematic information of knee joint motion obtained by a motion capture system, a Revolute-Prismatic-Revolute (RPR) model is established to simulate the biomimetic motion of the knee joint, then a corresponding implementation for repetitively driving the flexion–extension motion of the knee joint, mainly assembled by a double-cam meshing mechanism, is designed. The pitch curve of each cam is calculated based on the screw theory. During the design process, size optimization is used to reduce the weight of the equipment, resulting in a reduction from 1.96 kg to 1.16 kg, achieving the goal of lightweight equipment. Finally, a prototype of the designed orthosis with the desired biomimetic rotation function is prepared and verified. The result shows that the rotation center of the prototype can achieve biomimetic motion coincident with the rotation center of an active knee joint, which can successfully provide rehabilitation assistance for the knee joint flexion–extension motion. Estimation of vivo muscle forces during human motion is important for understanding human motion control mechanisms and joint mechanics. This paper combined the advantages of the convolutional neural network (CNN) and long-short-term memory (LSTM) and proposed a novel muscle force estimation method based on CNN–LSTM. A wearable sensor system was also developed to collect the angles and angular velocities of the hip, knee, and ankle joints in the sagittal plane during walking, and the collected kinematic data were used as the input for the neural network model. In this paper, the muscle forces calculated using OpenSim based on the Static Optimization (SO) method were used as the standard value to train the neural network model. Four lower limb muscles of the left leg, including gluteus maximus (GM), rectus femoris (RF), gastrocnemius (GAST), and soleus (SOL), were selected as the studying objects in this paper. The experiment results showed that compared to the standard CNN and the standard LSTM, the CNN–LSTM performed better in muscle forces estimation under slow (1.2 m/s), medium (1.5 m/s), and fast walking speeds (1.8 m/s). The average correlation coefficients between true and estimated values of four muscle forces under slow, medium, and fast walking speeds were 0.9801, 0.9829, and 0.9809, respectively. The average correlation coefficients had smaller fluctuations under different walking speeds, which indicated that the model had good robustness. The external testing experiment showed that the CNN–LSTM also had good generalization. The model performed well when the estimated object was not included in the training sample. This article proposed a convenient method for estimating muscle forces, which could provide theoretical assistance for the quantitative analysis of human motion and muscle injury. The method has established the relationship between joint kinematic signals and muscle forces during walking based on a neural network model; compared to the SO method to calculate muscle forces in OpenSim, it is more convenient and efficient in clinical analysis or engineering applications. For semantic segmentation of cardiac magnetic resonance image (MRI) with low recognition and high background noise, a fusion‐attention Swin Transformer is proposed based on cognitive science and deep learning methods. It has a U‐shaped symmetric encoding–decoding structure with an attention‐based skip connection. The encoder realizes self‐attention for deep feature representation and the decoder up‐samples global features to the corresponding input resolution for pixel‐level segmentation. By introducing a skip connection between the encoder and decoder based on fusion attention, the remote interaction of global information is realized, and the attention to local features and specific channels is enhanced. A public ACDC cardiac MRI image dataset is used for experiments. The segmentation of the left ventricle, right ventricle, and myocardial layer is realized. The method performs well on a small sample dataset, for example, the pixel accuracy obtained by the proposed model is 93.68%, the Dice coefficient is 92.28%, and HD coefficient is 11.18. Perovskites have been applied in a wide range of fields such as solar cells and nonvolatile memories due to their multiferroic nature and excellent photo-electric conversion capabilities. Recently, two-dimensional perovskites with a few atomic layers have been successfully synthesized, attracting significant attention for potential applications. In this work, we perform first-principles calculations to investigate an ultrathin prototypical Ruddlesden−Popper phase, Bi2FeO4, with its thickness down to one unit cell. We show that this compound could exist in two (meta-)stable octahedral tilting phases, belonging to P21/c and C2/m space groups, respectively. Using the optomechanical theory, we suggest that reversible and nonvolatile phase switching can be triggered using nondestructive terahertz light. In addition, the two phases show distinct optical reflectance spectrum in the visible light range, which can be used as an optical probe for phase transformation. Background: The management of myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury (MIRI) presents continuous therapeutic challenges. NAD-dependent deacetylase Sirtuin 6 (Sirt6) plays distinct roles in various disease contexts and is hence investigated for potential therapeutic applications for MIRI. This study aimed to examine the impact of Sirt6-overexpressing exosomes derived from adipose stem cells (S-ASC-Exo) on MIRI, focusing on their influence on AIM2-pyroptosis and mitophagy processes. The sirtuin family of proteins, particularly Sirtuin 6 (Sirt6), play a pivotal role in these processes. This study aimed to explore the potential therapeutic effects of Sirt6-enriched exosomes derived from adipose stem cells (S-ASC-Exo) on regulating MIRI. Results: Bioinformatic analysis revealed a significant downregulation of Sirt6 in MIRI subjected to control group, causing a consequential increase in mitophagy and pyroptosis regulator expressions. Therefore, our study revealed that Sirt6-enriched exosomes influenced the progression of MIRI through the regulation of target proteins AIM2 and GSDMD, associated with pyroptosis, and p62 and Beclin-1, related to mitophagy. The introduction of S-ASC-Exo inhibited AIM2-pyroptosis while enhancing mitophagy. Consequently, this led to a significant reduction of GSDMD cleavage and pyroptosis in endothelial cells, catalyzing a deceleration in the progression of atherosclerosis. Extensive in vivo and in vitro assays were performed to validate the expressions of these specific genes and proteins, which affirmed the dynamic modulation by Sirt6-enriched exosomes. Furthermore, treatment with S-ASC-Exo drastically ameliorated cardiac functions and limited infarct size, underlining their cardioprotective attributes. Conclusions: Our study underscores the potential therapeutic role of Sirt6-enriched exosomes in managing MIRI. We demonstrated their profound cardioprotective effect, evident in the enhanced cardiac function and attenuated tissue damage, through the strategic modulation of AIM2-pyroptosis and mitophagy. Given the intricate interplay between Sirt6 and the aforementioned processes, a comprehensive understanding of these pathways is essential to fully exploit the therapeutic potential of Sirt6. Altogether, our findings indicate the promise of Sirt6-enriched exosomes as a novel therapeutic strategy in treating ischemia–reperfusion injuries and cardiovascular diseases at large. Cucumbers are frequently affected by gray mold pathogen Botrytis cinerea, a pathogen that causes inhibited growth and reduced yield. Jasmonic acid (JA) plays a primary role in plant responses to biotic stresses, and the jasmonate-ZIM-Domain (JAZ) proteins are key regulators of the JA signaling pathway. In this study, we used the pan-genome of twelve cucumber varieties to identify cucumber TIFY genes. Our findings revealed that two CsTIFY genes were present in all twelve cucumber varieties and showed no differences in protein sequence, gene structure, and motif composition. This suggests their evolutionary conservation across different cucumber varieties and implies that they may play a crucial role in cucumber growth. On the other hand, the other fourteen CsTIFY genes exhibited variations in protein sequence and gene structure or conserved motifs, which could be the result of divergent evolution, as these genes adapt to different cultivation and environmental conditions. Analysis of the expression profiles of the CsTIFY genes showed differential regulation by B. cinerea. Transient transfection plants overexpressing CsJAZ2, CsJAZ6, or CsZML2 were found to be more susceptible to B. cinerea infection compared to control plants. Furthermore, these plants infected by the pathogen showed lower levels of the enzymatic activities of POD, SOD and CAT. Importantly, after B. cinerea infection, the content of JA was upregulated in the plants, and cucumber cotyledons pretreated with exogenous MeJA displayed increased resistance to B. cinerea infection compared to those pretreated with water. Therefore, this study explored key TIFY genes in the regulation of cucumber growth and adaptability to different cultivation environments based on bioinformatics analysis and demonstrated that CsJAZs negatively regulate cucumber disease resistance to gray mold via multiple signaling pathways. Maximizing rice yield potential has always been the focus of high-yield rice cultivation research. For high-yield rice cultivation and breeding, more research into the link between yield and yield components is essential. In this experiment, 38 rice varieties with different yield types and 185 rice varieties as materials were chosen. The relationships between yield and yield components were studied. The regulation effects of total nitrogen application rate (TNAR) on yield and yield components were observed. The results showed that (1) the grain yield of high-yield varieties was 189.3−195.6%, 76.1−77.7%, and 27.0−28.7% higher than that of super-low-yield, low-yield, and medium-yield varieties, respectively. Compared with rice varieties with other yield types, rice varieties with high-yield type have a higher total number of spikelets. (2) The spikelet number per panicle and total number of spikelets were significantly positively linked with grain yield, but significantly negatively correlated with filled grains and grain weight. (3) With an increase in TNAR (0−340 kg ha−1), the panicles, spikelet number per panicle, and total spikelets of rice varieties with different yield types increased gradually, and the filled grains and grain weight decreased gradually. The higher the TNAR, the more obvious the decrease in filled grains and grain weight. The grain yield of rice varieties with different yield types was the highest under the TNAR at 250 kg ha−1. The main factor contributing to its high yield was the substantial increase in total spikelets. The investigation of hydrogen diffusion and explosion characteristics after accidental hydrogen leaks in hydrogen refuelling stations can provide the theoretical reference of the safe application of hydrogen refuelling stations. The numerical study analyses the effects of plateau environment on the dispersion and explosion characteristics of combustible clouds, visualises the diffusion and explosion process of hydrogen-air combustible clouds and quantifies the hydrogen concentration and explosion pressure at monitoring points. Results show that combustible clouds may appear upstream of the leak hole due to the presence of obstacles. The low atmospheric pressure conditions in the plateau areas result in high hydrogen concentration near the blast wall and large combustible cloud size. The hydrogen concentration near the blast wall and combustible cloud volume are also shown a positive correlation with air temperature, which will be detrimental to fire protection in hydrogen refuelling stations. After the explosion of the hydrogen clouds, the mortality zone (explosion overpressure ≥0.69 bar) is observed near the blast wall and at high leak volumes, the hazardous zone (0.07 bar ≤ explosion overpressure ≤0.69 bar) may spread over the blast wall into the crowded area. However, the blast wall blocks the development of the high-temperature zone, which has a positive effect on preventing the spread of the explosion flame. An examination of the pressure monitoring point data reveals that there appears to be an opposite effect of atmospheric pressure on the positive and reverse overpressure. Background: Poor rotation of the femoral component in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) can result in various postoperative complications, underscoring the critical importance of preoperative planning. Purpose: To improve the accuracy of femoral component positioning during TKA, this study compared the accuracy and repeatability of different two-dimensional (2D) computed tomography (CT) measurement methods for measuring the posterior condylar angle (PCA) in preoperative TKA planning. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 75 patients (150 knees) who underwent bilateral lower extremity computed tomography angiography (CTA) at Fuyang People's Hospital from January 2021 to July 2021. Three different methods were used to measure the PCA based on 2D CT images (axial CT slices) and three-dimensional(3D) models (femoral models reconstructed from CT data) in this study. Method 1: Single-plane 2D CT measurement, measuring PCA in the most obvious single-plane CT slice of the surgical transepicondylar axis (sTEA); Method 2: multi-plane 2D CT measurement, identifying and locating anatomical landmarks in multiple 2D CT slices and measuring PCA; Method 3: 3D model measurement, measuring PCA in the reconstructed femur 3D model. Compare the differences in PCA measurements between the three measurement methods. A positive PCA measurement was recorded when the sTEA was externally rotated relative to the posterior condylar line (PCL). Any difference exceeding 3° between the PCA measurement in the 2D CT and the PCA reference value in the 3D model was classified as an outlier. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland–Altman method were utilized to assess the intra- and inter-observer reproducibility of the three measurement methods. Results: The PCA measurement in the single-plane 2D CT was 1.91 ± 1.94°, with a measurement error of − 1.22 ± 1.32° and 12.7% of outlier values. In the multi-plane 2D CT, the PCA measurement was 2.96 ± 1.68°, with a measurement error of -0.15 ± 0.91° and 6.0% of outlier values. The PCA measurement in the 3D model was 3.12 ± 1.69°. The PCA measurement in single-plane 2D CT was notably smaller than that in multi-plane 2D CT and 3D models, with no significant difference between the latter two. The multi-plane 2D CT showed significantly lower measurement error and outlier values than the single-plane 2D CT. All three PCA measurement methods exhibited high reproducibility (ICC: 0.93 ~ 0.97). Conclusions: Using of multi-plane 2D CT for measuring PCA in preoperative planning of TKA has high reproducibility and accuracy, with fewer outlier values. Traditional gravity wave drag parameterizations produce wind stresses that are insensitive to changing horizontal resolution in numerical weather prediction (NWP), partly due to the idealized elliptical assumption. This study employs the modified subgrid-scale orography scheme based on the Fourier transform into gravity wave drag scheme of the China Meteorological Administration Global Forecast System (CMA-GFS) to assess its impacts on simulating precipitation during the slow-moving period of Typhoon In-Fa after its landfall in Zhejiang Province, China. The simulation with the updated scheme can effectively reduce the accumulated precipitation bias of the control one and improve the simulation of precipitation distribution and intensity, especially in the hourly precipitation simulation. The improved scheme primarily influences the wind field of the low-level troposphere and also changes the convergence of the integrated water vapor transport and ascending motions related to the reduced precipitation biases. The modified scheme enhances the tendencies of the horizontal winds caused by the varying horizontal resolutions in the model, strengthening the sensitivity of the gravity wave drag across the horizontal scales. Results from medium-range forecasts indicate the modified scheme benefits the statistics scores of precipitation over China and also reduces root-mean-square errors of 2 m temperature and 10 m winds. Integrated hierarchical microstructures composed of organic micro/nanocrystals with defined morphology have received great interest as candidates for advanced photonic circuits. Herein, the synthesis of highly ordered multilevel homogenous hyperbranched networks (HHNs) made of the individual organic compound 2, 3‐dicyanine naphthalene via a facile solution self‐assembly route is reported. The selective growth of branches on the sidewall of the backbone driven by the lattice match mechanism leads to the formation of higher‐level snowflake‐like configuration of the HHNs. These well‐organized HHNs perform excellent abilities of directional asymmetry photon transport and hierarchical polarization filtering. Combined with the doping strategy, the broad emission range of hyperbranched network heterostructures is expanded, and even the white light emission with Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage coordinates at (0.30, 0.33) is realized. The Cosmonaut Sea is an under-studied area and a "white spot" for macrobenthos research. Here, we report on the species diversity and community structure of macrobenthos collected using tringle trawls on the 38th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition (CHINARE) in the Cosmonaut Sea, East Antarctica. A total of 11 tringle trawls were deployed at different depths across the shelf, slope and seamount of the Cosmonaut Sea. A total of 275 macrobenthic species were found from 207 to 1994 m. The species richness per station varied from 23 to 89. Echinoderms (100 species), arthropods (48 species) and mollusks (36 species) were the most dominant groups. Echinoderms and arthropods dominated in abundance at seamount stations, and echinoderms, arthropods and polychaetes dominated in abundance at slope stations, while bryozoans, corals, ascidians and sponges were abundant on the Cosmonaut Sea shelf. Depth was the major driving force influencing the distribution of macrobenthos. The main components were two core communities. One was dominated by sessile suspension feeders and associated fauna. Variants of this community include sponges and bryozoans. The other core community was dominated by mobile deposit feeders, infauna and grazers–epifauna, which included arthropods and echinoderms. The results showed that the slope (40–50° E, 65–67° S) of the Cosmonaut Sea may be an important area with complex ecological processes. The results of this study contribute to the knowledge of species diversity and communities of macrobenthos in the Cosmonaut Sea and provide monitoring data for future ecosystem health assessments and better protection. Background and aim: Huntington's disease (HD) is an autosomal dominant inherited neurodegenerative disorder caused by CAG repeats expansion. Cognitive decline contributes to the loss of daily activity in manifest HD. We aimed to examine the cognition status in a Chinese HD cohort and explore factors influencing the diverse cognitive domains. Methods: A total of 205 participants were recruited in the study with the assessment by neuropsychological batteries, including the mini–mental state examination (MMSE), Stroop test, symbol digit modalities test (SDMT), trail making test (TMT), verbal fluency test (VFT), and Hopkins verbal learning test–revised, as well as motor and psychiatric assessment. Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression models were applied to investigate the correlation. Results: Only 41.46% of patients had normal global function first come to our center. There was a significantly difference in MMSE, Stroop test, SDMT, TMT, and VFT across each stage of HD patients (p <.05). Apathy of PBA‐s was correlated to MMSE, animal VFT and Stroop‐interference tests performance. Severity of motor symptoms, functional capacity, age, and age of motor symptom onset were correlated to all neuropsychological scores, whereas education attainment and diagnostic delay were correlated to most neuropsychological scores except TMT. Severity of motor symptoms, functional capacity, and education attainment showed independent predicting effect (p <.05) in diverse cognitive domains. Conclusion: Cognitive impairment was very common in Chinese HD patients at the first visit and worse in the patients in advanced phase. The whole-cell catalysis strategy of alpha-ketoglutaric acid (α-KG) production from L-glutamic acid (L-Glu) using recombinant Escherichia coli, in which L-glutamate oxidase (LGox) was over-expressed, has replaced the traditional chemical synthesis strategy. However, large amounts of toxic by-product, H2O2, should be eliminated through co-expressing catalase (Cat), thus severely increasing burden in cells. To efficiently and economically produce α-KG, here, the genes SpLGox (from Streptomyces platensis NTU3304) and SlCat (from Streptomyces lividans TK24) were inserted into the low-dosage-IPTG (Isopropyl β-D-Thiogalactoside) inducible expression system, constructed in our previous work, in E. coli, respectively. Besides, a double-strain catalysis system was established and optimized to produce α-KG, and the productivity of α-KG was increased 97% compared with that through single strain catalysis. Finally, a double-strain cultivation strategy was designed and employed to simplify the scale-up fermentation. Using the optimized whole-cell biocatalyst conditions (pH 7.0, 35 °C), majority of the L-glutamic acid was transformed into α-KG and the titer reached 95.4 g/L after 6 h with the highest productivity at present. Therefore, this strategy may efficiently and cost-effectively produce α-KG, enhancing its potential for industrial applications. Prion diseases are a group of neurodegenerative diseases characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction and neuronal death. Mitophagy is a selective form of macroautophagy that clears injured mitochondria. Prohibitin 2 (PHB2) has been identified as a novel inner membrane mitophagy receptor that mediates mitophagy. However, the role of PHB2 in prion diseases remains unclear. In this study, we isolated primary cortical neurons from rats and used the neurotoxic prion peptide PrP106–126 as a cell model for prion diseases. We examined the role of PHB2 in PrP106–126-induced mitophagy using Western blotting and immunofluorescence microscopy and assessed the function of PHB2 in PrP106–126-induced neuronal death using the cell viability assay and the TUNEL assay. The results showed that PrP106–126 induced mitochondrial morphological abnormalities and mitophagy in primary cortical neurons. PHB2 was found to be indispensable for PrP106–126-induced mitophagy and was involved in the accumulation of PINK1 and recruitment of Parkin to mitochondria in primary neurons. Additionally, PHB2 depletion exacerbated neuronal cell death induced by PrP106–126, whereas the overexpression of PHB2 alleviated PrP106–126 neuronal toxicity. Taken together, this study demonstrated that PHB2 is indispensable for PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy in PrP106–126-treated neurons and protects neurons against the neurotoxicity of the prion peptide. The majority of the experimental studies investigating the dynamic response of sandwich panels are conducted using small-scale models that cannot be applied directly in the marine industry. In this study, a velocity–stress–mass (VSG) method based on the Johnson–Cook equation (VSG–JC) is derived to determine the relationship between a full-size structure (prototype) and its scaled-down model. The developed methodology is verified using theoretical and numerical solutions for an impact-loaded beam and plate, respectively. Theoretically, the model response can explicitly predict the behavior of a full-size structure using the VSG–JC method, whereas the strain rate cannot be obtained precisely via numerical simulation; hence, the corrected results for the model deviate slightly from the prototype results. Additionally, this method is compared with the VSG method based on the Cowper–Symonds equation (VSG–CS) in the numerical simulation of sandwich panels. The comparison results indicates that the VSG–JC method is more accurate than the VSG–CS method. The dynamic response of the scaled models predicted using the VSG–JC method coincides with that of the prototype, thus demonstrating that the VSG–JC method is valid for evaluating the scaling behavior of sandwich structures subjected to impact loads. Background: Nivolumab plus chemotherapy (NC) was recently approved as the first-line intervention for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative advanced gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer (GC/GEJC). Moreover, in the latest KEYNOTE-859 (NCT03675737), pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy (PC) was demonstrated to produce remarkable patient survival outcomes. Objectives: The clinicians and patients need to assess NC and PC preference for cancer drugs. Design: The cost-effective analysis. Methods: In an economic assessment of the United States, United Kingdom, and Chinese healthcare systems using a Markov model simulated patients with GC/GEJC, two treatment decision branches with three health states and a tracked time horizon of 15 years were developed. The overall cost and efficacy outcomes of first-line strategies PC and NC were evaluated at willingness-to-pay (WTP) thresholds of different national, including life-years (LYs), quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs), incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICERs), and incremental net-health benefit (INHB). Sensitivity and subgroup analyses were considered. Results: Given a WTP threshold of $150,000, $60,161, and $37,653 per QALY in the United States, United Kingdom, and China, respectively, both PC and NC achieved QALYs of 1.67 and 1.65 (2.51 and 2.48 LYs), 1.65 and 1.63 (2.48 and 2.45 LYs), and 1.60 and 1.58 (2.40 and 2.37 LYs), with total costs of $242,444 and $232,617, $148,367 and $127,737, and $16,693 and $24,016, respectively. Based on our sensitivity analysis, the programmed death-1 inhibitors cost produced the largest impact on the outcome. In addition, the cost-effectiveness probabilities of PC were 38.3%, 4.1%, and 100% in the three aforementioned countries, respectively. Graphene‐Nanostreifen (GNS, engl. GNR) werden als vielversprechende Kandidaten für Nanoelektroniken der nächsten Generation gehandelt. Besonders Heteroübergänge in diesen Materialien erhalten durch ihre exotischen topologischen elektronischen Phasen am Heteroübergang in letzter Zeit viel Aufmerksamkeit. Allerdings sind Synthesestrategien für die atompräzise Synthese noch am Beginn ihrer Entwicklung. Hier berichten wir von einer neuartigen Strategie zur Kettenwachstumspolymerisation für die Konstruktion von Heteroübergängen zwischen N=9 Sessel‐GNR (engl. armchair, 9‐AGNR) und chevron GNRs (cGNR). Die Synthese beinhaltet eine kontrollierte Suzuki–Miyaura Katalysatortransferpolymerisation (engl. SCTP) zwischen 2‐(6′‐bromo‐4,4′′‐ditetradecyl‐[1,1′:2′,1′′‐terphenyl]‐3′‐yl)boronsäureester (M1) und 2‐(7‐bromo‐9,12‐diphenyl‐10,11‐bis(4‐tetradecylphenyl)‐triphenylen‐2‐yl)boronsäureester (M2) um das Blockcopolymer poly‐M1/M2 mit einem kontrollierten Mn (18 kDa) und einem schmalen Polydispersitätsindex Đ (1.45) zu erhalten. Darauf folgt eine Schollreaktion des Blockcopolymers zur Heterostruktur 9‐AGNR/cGNR. NMR und SEC von poly‐M1/M2 bestätigen die erfolgreiche Blockcopolymerisation. Graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) are considered promising candidates for next‐generation nanoelectronics. In particular, GNR heterojunctions have received considerable attention due to their exotic topological electronic phases at the heterointerface. However, strategies for their precision synthesis remain at a nascent stage. Here, we report a novel chain‐growth polymerization strategy that allows for constructing GNR heterojunction with N=9 armchair and chevron GNRs segments (9‐AGNR/cGNR). The synthesis involves a controlled Suzuki–Miyaura catalyst‐transfer polymerization (SCTP) between 2‐(6′‐bromo‐4,4′′‐ditetradecyl‐[1,1′:2′,1′′‐terphenyl]‐3′‐yl) boronic ester (M1) and 2‐(7‐bromo‐9,12‐diphenyl‐10,11‐bis(4‐tetradecylphenyl)‐triphenylene‐2‐yl) boronic ester (M2), followed by the Scholl reaction of the obtained block copolymer (poly‐M1/M2) with controlled Mn (18 kDa) and narrow Đ (1.45). NMR and SEC analysis of poly‐M1/M2 confirm the successful block copolymerization. The solution‐mediated cyclodehydrogenation of poly‐M1/M2 toward 9‐AGNR/cGNR is unambiguously validated by FT‐IR, Raman, and UV/Vis spectroscopies. Nonlinear optical (NLO) imaging has emerged as a promising plant cell imaging technique due to its large optical penetration, inherent 3D spatial resolution, and reduced photodamage; exogenous nanoprobes are usually needed for nonsignal target cell analysis. Here, we report in vivo, simultaneous 3D labeling and imaging of potato cell structures using plasmonic nanoprobe-assisted multimodal NLO microscopy. Experimental results show that the complete cell structure can be imaged via the combination of second-harmonic generation (SHG) and two-photon luminescence (TPL) when noble metal silver or gold ions are added. In contrast, without the noble metal ion solution, no NLO signals from the cell wall were acquired. The mechanism can be attributed to noble metal nanoprobes with strong nonlinear optical responses formed along the cell walls via a femtosecond laser scan. During the SHG-TPL imaging process, noble metal ions that crossed the cell wall were rapidly reduced to plasmonic nanoparticles with the fs laser and selectively anchored onto both sides of the cell wall, thereby leading to simultaneous 3D labeling and imaging of the potato cells. Compared with the traditional labeling technique that needs in vitro nanoprobe fabrication and cell labeling, our approach allows for one-step, in vivo labeling of plant cells, thus providing a rapid, cost-effective method for cellular structure construction and imaging. Background and Aims: The increasingly widespread of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in the field of antitumors has brought a new dawn for patients with advanced biliary tract cancer (aBTC). However, the choice of treatment needs to be supported by economic evaluation. Therefore, the cost‐effectiveness comparison of first‐line durvalumab or pembrolizumab plus gemcitabine and cisplatin (GemCis) treatment of aBTC was explored from the perspective of American and Chinese healthcare systems. Methods: Ground on the TOPAZ‐1 and KEYNOTE‐966 trials, the Markov model with a 15‐year horizon including three health states to imitate cost and effective outcomes was established. Incremental cost‐effectiveness ratio (ICER) at willingness‐to‐pay (WTP) thresholds of $100 000/QALY and $37 408/ALY in the USA and China was used as the most important indicator. Other endpoint indexes included total cost, life years (LYs), quality‐adjusted life years (QALYs) and incremental net‐health benefit (INHB). To verify the robustness, sensitivity and subgroup analyses were performed. Results: Durvalumab plus GemCis ($322 211 [2.94 QALYs] and $35 695 [2.76 QALYs]) increased cost (effectiveness) by $63 777 (.22 QALYs) and $5234 (.20 QALYs) than pembrolizumab plus GemCis ($258 434 [2.72 QALYs] and $30 461 [2.56 QALYs]) in the USA and China, respectively. The corresponding ICER was $288 725/QALY and $26 401/QALY, with INHB of −.42 and.06 QALYs, respectively. The cost of ICIs was the most important factor influencing results. Objective: To investigate the relationship between dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measurements and the potential composition of rectal carcinoma. Methods: Twenty-four patients provided informed consent for this study. DCE-MRI was performed before total mesorectal excision. Quantitative parameters were calculated based on a modified Tofts model. Whole-mount immunohistochemistry and Masson staining sections were generated and digitized at histological resolution. The percentage of tissue components area was measured. Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlations between pathological parameters and DCE-MRI parameters. Results: On the World Health Organization (WHO) grading scale, there were significant differences in extracellular extravascular space (Ktrans) (F = 9.890, P = 0.001), mean transit time (MTT) (F = 9.890, P = 0.038), CDX-2 (F = 4.935, P = 0.018), and Ki-67 (F = 4.131, P = 0.031) among G1, G2, and G3. ECV showed significant differences in extramural venous invasion (t = − 2.113, P = 0.046). Ktrans was strongly positively correlated with CD34 (r = 0.708, P = 0.000) and moderately positively correlated with vimentin (r = 0.450, P = 0.027). Interstitial volume (Ve) was moderately positively correlated with Masson's (r = 0.548, P = 0.006) and vimentin (r = 0.417, P = 0.043). There was a moderate negative correlation between Ve and CDX-2 (r = − 0.441, P = 0.031). The rate constant from extracellular extravascular space to blood plasma (Kep) showed a strong positive correlation with CD34 expression (r = 0.622, P = 0.001). ECV showed a moderate negative correlation with CDX-2 (r = − 0.472, P = 0.020) and a moderate positive correlation with collagen fibers (r = 0.558, P = 0.005). Conclusion: The dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI-derived parameters measured in rectal cancer were significantly correlated with the proportion of histological components. As the α‐C−H bond is far more acidic than the β‐C−H bond, carbonyl compounds undergo highly regioselective allylation at the α‐position and their β‐allylation is therefore highly challenging. This innate α‐reactivity conversely hampers diversity, especially if the corresponding β‐allylation product is targeted. Herein, we present a formal intermolecular β‐C−C bond formation reaction of a broad range of aldehydes and ketones with different allyl electrophiles through cooperative nickel and photoredox catalysis. β‐Selectivity is achieved via initial transformation of the aldehydes and ketones to their corresponding silyl enol ethers. The overall transformation features mild conditions, excellent regioselectivity, wide functional group tolerance and high reaction efficiency. The introduced facile and regioselective β‐allylation of carbonyl compounds proceeding through cooperative catalysis allows the preparation of valuable building blocks that are difficult to access from aldehydes and ketones using existing methodology. BACKGROUND: The digestion behavior of lipids plays a crucial role in their nutritional values. Currently, the complex dynamic variations of human gastrointestinal conditions are considered in simulated digestion models. The present study compared the digestion behavior of glycerol trilaurate (GTL), glycerol tripalmitate (GTP) and glycerol tristearate (GTS) in a static in vitro digestion model and a dynamic in vitro digestion model. In the dynamic digestion model, the parameters of gastric juice secretion, the rate of gastric emptying, the secretion of intestinal juice and the pH variations were estimated. RESULTS: The dynamic digestion model showed a certain extent of gastric lipase hydrolysis, while almost no lipolysis happened in the gastric phase of the static digestion model. A smoother digestive behavior was observed in the dynamic model than that in the static model. In the static model, the particle size distribution in gastric and intestinal phase changed rapidly in all triacylglycerol (TAG) groups. The change of particle size during the whole digestion period in GTL is more moderate than GTP and GTS. In addition, the final free fatty acids release degree was 58.558%, 54.36%, and 52.97% for GTL, GTP, and GTS, respectively. CONCLUSION: This study illustrated the different digestion profiles of TAGs in two digestion models and the results will contribute to a better understanding of different in vitro digestion models in lipid digestion. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry. An investigation into the non-equilibrium gas flow around a circular cylinder within the Knudsen number (K n) range of 0.001–1 and the free-stream Mach number (M a) range of 0.01–6 is presented using the unstructured grid unified gas kinetic scheme. The primary objective is to examine the impact of K n and M a on flow patterns. The flow pattern diagram illustrating seven flow patterns in the M a - K n space is provided, including the transition boundary between bow shock-wave with laminar flow (BS+L) and bow shock-wave with vortex flow (BS+V). The relationships between R e - K n and M a - R e both follow the power function: y = e β x α , where α and β are constants. The study also provides a more precise critical curve of vortex shedding in subsonic inflow, the boundary of tailing shock-wave, and the boundary of vortex shedding in a transonic inflow. The flow pattern diagram indicates that the variation of flow separation with K n is non-monotonic across the entire M a range but is monotonic at M a > 1. In the subsonic inflow, the critical R e of flow separation ( R e c ) increases with M a , while R e c initially increases and then decreases with K n. The critical M a at the turning point is about 0.72. In supersonic inflow, the critical R e associated with the onset of flow separation either increases or decreases with the increase in M a or K n. The critical R e of vortex shedding is non-monotonic with K n. The critical R e of the trailing shock-wave decreases with both K n and M a. In the transonic inflow, the critical R e and critical M a of vortex shedding decrease with K n. As rarefaction increases, the type of flow patterns decreases. The flow pattern diagram provides a visual representation of the impact of rarefaction and compressibility effects on flow pattern transitions and assists in determining the applicable range of the drag coefficient model. The ridge–furrow planting pattern is an effective strategy to improve grain yield, and changes in the ridge and furrow microenvironments affect wheat yield. However, the mechanism by which wheat yields are increased at different ridge–furrow ratios is unclear. In this study, four planting modes, namely the traditional planting mode (M1) and ridge–furrow ratios of 50:50 cm (M2), 75:50 cm (M3), and 100:50 cm (M4), were established for wheat under field conditions from 2021 to 2023; the effects of different treatments on light energy utilization, dry matter accumulation and transport, and grain yield were studied. The findings demonstrated that the M3 treatment exhibited the highest enhancements in parameters such as leaf area index (LAI), canopy photosynthetically effective radiation interception rate, relative chlorophyll content (SPAD) index, and net photosynthetic rate. Moreover, the M3 treatment displayed superior grain filling compared to other treatments. The post-anthesis assimilate accumulation in the M3 treatment was 11.93%, 4.69%, and 13.13% higher than that of M1, M2, and M4 treatments, respectively, and the grain yield in M3 increased by 7.70–9.56%, 3.13–4.91%, and 8.69–10.90% compared with those in M1, M2, and M4 in the two growing seasons, respectively. In summary, under the conditions of this study, the M3 treatment led to higher LAI and SPAD values in flag leaves post-anthesis compared to the other treatments. Moreover, M3 optimized canopy structure, led to the highest canopy interception rate, and increased photosynthetic rates per individual plant. Consequently, there was a significant increase in post-anthesis dry matter accumulation, resulting in the highest grain yield achieved among the treatments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: In 2023, the final PAOLA-1 trial (NCT02477644) survival data were published documenting the benefits of therapy consisting of olaparib plus bevacizumab for patients with advanced ovarian cancer (AOC) as a function of molecular status. In light of these new data, the present study was conducted with the goal of evaluating the cost-effectiveness of olaparib plus bevacizumab for the treatment of the overall AOC patient population and for homologous recombination deficiency (HRD)-positive patients, patients with a breast cancer susceptibility gene (BRCA) mutations, homologous recombination proficiency (HRD)-positive, or patients not harboring BRCA mutations AOC from a US payers perspective. Methods: A Markov state-transition model with a 15-year time horizon was used to evaluate outcomes of patients administered Olaparib plus bevacizumab versus bevacizumab. Life-years (LYs), quality-adjusted LYs (QALYs), and the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) values were evaluated in this study in light of a $150,000/QALY of willingness-to-pay (WTP) threshold. The stability of the established model was evaluated through sensitivity analyses. Results: Relative to bevacizumab alone, Olaparib plus bevacizumab was associated with mean incremental costs and QALYs (LYs) of olaparib plus bevacizumab versus bevacizumab were $293,656 and 1.85 (2.16), $265,668 and 3.34 (4.02), $242,746 and 1.71 (2.06), and $193,792 and 0.97 (1.14) for overall, BRCA mutation-positive, HRD-positive, and HRD-positive BRCA mutation-negative AOC patients, respectively. The corresponding ICER values for these patient subgroups were $158,729 ($136,218), $79,434 ($66,120), $141,636 ($117,747), and $200,595 ($169,733) per QALY (LY) gained Utility value and the price of olaparib were identified in sensitivity analyses as the primary factors influencing these results. Conclusion: At current pricing levels, maintenance treatment with olaparib plus bevacizumab treatment may represent a cost-effective therapeutic option for BRCA mutations and HRD-positive AOC patients in the USA.
