A robust method and strategy for efficient full field-ofview and depth separation optical imaging through scattering media regardless of the three-dimensional (3D) optical memory effect are proposed. In this method, the problem of imaging de-aliasing, decomposition, and separation of speckle patterns are solved taking advantages of the spatial decorrelation characteristics of speckles by employing randomly modulated illumination strategy and independent component analysis methods. Full field-of-view imaging of multi-targets locate at diverse spatial positions behind a scattering layer are realized and observed experimentally, for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. In this study, we demonstrate first, to the best of our knowledge, robust and dynamically polarization-controlled tunable-high-Q PIT in designed nanostructures metasurface, whose sharp resonance is guaranteed by design and protected against large geometrical imperfections. By employing the explicit analysis of near-field characteristic in the reciprocal-space based on the momentum matching, and the far-field radiation features with point-scattering approach in real-space sparked from Huygens's principles, the physics of interference resonance in the spectra for plane-wave optical transmission and reflection of the metasurface is theoretically and thoroughly investigated. The experimental results verify the theory prediction. The distinctive polarization-selective and Q-tunable PIT shows robust features to performance degradations in traditional PIT system caused by inadvertent fabrication flaws or geometry asymmetry-variations, which paves way for the development of reconfigurable and flexible metasurface and, additionally, opens new avenues in robust and multifunctional nanophotonics device design and applications., Comment: insufficient data and results shall be added later in a new version

Plasmon-induced-transparency (PIT) in nanostructures has been intensively investigated, however, no existing metasurface nanostructure exhibits all-optically tunable properties, where the number of transparency windows can be tuned successively, and switched to off-state. Here, we theoretically investigate and demonstrate dynamically tunable, multichannel PIT at optical frequencies. The inplane destructive interference between bright and dark dipolar resonances in coupled plasmonic nanobar topologies is exploited to produce tunable PIT with unique characteristics. In particular, we demonstrate sequential polarization-selective multispectral operation whereby the number of PIT channels can be varied successively from '3' to '0'. The results provide a promising route for active manipulation of PIT and show potential applications for multifunctional dynamic nanophotonics devices.

Light passing through scattering media will be strongly scattered and diffused into complex speckle pattern, which contains almost all the spatial information and spectral information of the objects. Although various methods have been proposed to recover the spatial information of the hidden objects, it is still a challenge to simultaneously obtain their spectral information. Here, we present an effective approach to realize spectral imaging through scattering media by combining the spectra retrieval and the speckle-correlation. Compared to the traditional imaging spectrometer, our approach is more flexible in the choice of core element. In this paper, we have demonstrated employing the frosted glass as the core element to achieve spectral imaging. Obtaining the spectral information and spatial information are demonstrated via numerical simulations. Experiment results further demonstrate the performance of our scheme in spectral imaging through scattering media. Although various technologies have been proposed to realize color imaging through the scattering media, current technologies are still complex with long sequence of measurement for each imaging pixel or spectral point spread functions of optical system. Here we theoretically prove the spatial averaging of triple correlation technique can be used to retrieve the Fourier phase of object, and experimentally demonstrate it can be applied in color imaging through scattering media. Compared to other phase retrieval techniques, the phase retrieval with triple correlation technique can retain the orientation information of objects, and can composite color image without rotation operation.
