The Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP) aims to create a multi-scale spatial atlas of the healthy human body at single-cell resolution by applying advanced technologies and disseminating resources to the community. As the HuBMAP moves past its first phase, creating ontologies, protocols and pipelines, this Perspective introduces the production phase: the generation of reference spatial maps of functional tissue units across many organs from diverse populations and the creation of mapping tools and infrastructure to advance biomedical research.

ObjectiveThis paper analyzed the punishment situation of unlicensed medical practice in recent 7 years in Jinshan District of Shanghai， then suggested the countermeasures to prevent and combat unlicensed medical practice in the future.MethodsA total of 190 cases of unlicensed medical practice from 2016 to 2022 were investigated. The basic situation of the punishment，legal basis，subject distribution，clue source and individual characteristics were analyzed.ResultsThe case-filing number of unlicensed medical practice showed a decreasing trend，but the amount of fines increased obviously. The clues of investigation and punishment of unlicensed medicine practice were mainly found by inspection（32.11%） and transferred from other departments（28.42%）， while the number of complaints and clues reported from grassroots increased year by year. Medical and dental were the two major unlicensed practice，accounting for 35.79% and 33.16%， respectively. In addition， unlicensed medical cosmetology practice was increasing year by year. 78.62% of the unlicensed medical practioners are immigrants， 62.76% of them aged between 31 and 50 years old， among them 70.34% are men， and 62.76% of them have a fixed place.ConclusionThough the prevention and crack-down on unlicensed medical practice has achieved significant achievements，it is still necessary to enhance the responsibility of local administration，strengthen the inspection，investigate and deal with cases jointly by multiple departments，and implement the comprehensive supervision mechanism of the health care industry.

To prepare a calcium-binding peptide as calcium supplement, phosvitin phosphopeptide (PPP) was prepared from egg yolk and chelated with calcium ions. Phosvitin (PV) was treated at high temperature and high pressure, and then sequentially hydrolyzed with trypsin and alkaline protease. Based on hydrolysis degree and calcium binding efficiency of peptide, the hydrolysis conditions of alkaline protease were optimized. Phosvitin phosphopeptide-calcium chelate (PPP-Ca) was characterized by ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and zeta potential analysis. The results revealed that the optimal hydrolysis conditions were as follows: enzyme dosage 5%, hydrolysis time 90 min, pH 9.0 and 40 ℃. Under these conditions, the degree of hydrolysis was (25.45 ± 0.17)% and the calcium binding efficiency of peptide was (93.41 ± 1.10)%. The structural characterization showed that Ca bound to PPP mainly through interactions between carboxyl, amino and phosphate groups, and the structure of PPP-Ca was tightly ordered and had aggregation phenomenon.

Pain catastrophizing is a prominent psychological factor that is strongly correlated with pain. Although the complex properties of pain catastrophizing vary across different pain phases, the contribution of chronic pain to its progression from a general trait to a higher state remains unclear. This study aimed to examine the neural mechanisms and degree to which pain catastrophizing is reinforced in the context of primary dysmenorrhea (PDM), one of the most prevalent gynaecological complaints experienced by women of reproductive age. Altogether, 29 women with moderate‐to‐severe PDM were included in this study. Arterial spin labelling was used to quantify the cerebral blood flow (CBF) in each participant in both the pain‐free and painful phases. The pain catastrophizing scale (PCS) was completed in two phases, and the Short‐Form McGill Pain Questionnaire was completed in the painful phase. Compared with pain catastrophizing in the pain‐free phase (PCSpf), pain catastrophizing in the painful phase (PCSp) is higher and positively correlated with the composite factor of menstrual pain. CBF analysis indicated that the PCSp is positively associated with CBF in the frontal cortex, hippocampus and amygdala. The reinforcement of pain catastrophizing correlates with CBF in the prefrontal cortex. Specifically, the medial prefrontal cortex, which correlates with pain state, plays a crucial role in mediating the reinforcing effect of pain in the PCSp. The neuropeptide hormone oxytocin (OT) is involved in various physiological and pathological processes via the oxytocin receptor (OTR). While OT is most widely known as a reproductive system hormone and a nervous system neurotransmitter, the OT/OTR system has gradually gained much attention for its role in the gastrointestinal (GI) system, such as the GI motility, secretion, and bowel inflammatory reactions. Its importance in GI cancers has also been reported in the past few decades. The promising clinical observations have revealed OT's anti-nociceptive effect, protective effect over gut injury, and the potential of using microbiota to naturally increase endogenous OT levels, which shed a light on the management of GI disorders with lower side effects. However, no current comprehensive review is available on the actions of OT/OTR in the GI tract. This review aims to present the lesser-known role of the OT/OTR system in the GI tract, and the most recent findings are discussed regarding the distribution and functional role of OTR signalling in regulating (patho)physiological functions of the GI tract. Special emphasis is placed on its therapeutic potential for clinical management of GI disorders, such as GI pain, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The recent characterisation of the OTR's crystal structure has advanced research for designing and identifying new OTR-specific molecules. Future in-depth basic and clinical research is needed to further elucidate the involvement and detailed mechanism of OT/OTR in GI disorders, and the development of OTR-specific ligands. Background: This study aimed to explore the effect of vitamin D supplementation on lymphocyte subsets in infertile women. Methods: The study involved a total of 247 patients who suffered recurrent embryo implantation failure (RIF) or recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) between January and December 2019 in the Reproductive Medicine Center of Children's Hospital of Shanxi and Women Health Center of Shanxi. The differences in the vitamin D and lymphocyte subsets of the two diseases, the correlation between the 25-hydroxy vitamin D and lymphocyte subsets, the changes in the lymphocyte subsets after vitamin D supplementation and the impact on pregnancy outcome were analysed. Results: The prevalence of vitamin D deficiency was 77.33% (191/247). After vitamin D supplementation, there were no significant differences in helper T cells (Th), cytotoxic T cells (Tc), Th/Tc and natural killer cells (NK) (p > 0.05), but there were significant differences in leukocyte differentiation antigens 3+ (CD3+), natural killer T cells (NKT), B lymphocytes and vitamin D (p < 0.05). Before vitamin D supplementation, the difference in the composition ratio of different vitamin D levels between the RIF and RSA groups was not statistically significant. At different vitamin D levels, there were no significant differences in CD3+, Th, Tc, Th/Tc, NK or B lymphocyte (p > 0.05), but there was a significant difference in NKT (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Vitamin D supplementation can reduce the level of NKT in infertile women, which may be of benefit to the pregnancy outcome of couples who experience RIF. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
