Ophiorrhiza liuyanii, a new species from south-western China and northern Vietnam, is described and illustrated. The new species is characterised by the glabrous surfaces on almost all plant parts, congested inflorescences and broad-ovate to ovate bracts 9–22 × 4–11 mm. It morphologically differs from the closest species, O. baviensis, mainly in most plant parts being glabrous, bracts broad-ovate to ovate, apex acute or sometimes obtuse, corollas inside with a ring of white hairs at the middle and anthers inserted near the middle in long-styled flowers. Electrical behaviors of amorphous InGaZnO (a‐IGZO) thin film transistors (TFTs) with the flash lamp annealing process under mechanical stress were investigated in this study. While bending radius down to 5mm for tensile and compress stress, there is no obvious change for transfer characteristics. Color sequential transmissive and reflective projection displays using a vertical field switching (VFS) polymer-stabilized blue phase liquid crystal (BPLC) are proposed. The VFS-BPLC exhibits submillisecond response time which is useful for suppressing color breakup, hysteresis-free for accurate grayscale control, high optical efficiency, and low operation voltage. Transmittance of conventional LCDs, which are not suitable for application of transparent displays, is limited by its fixed color gamut. A new structure of transparent display was developed to freely control the color gamut for tuning the transmittance. Its sub-pixel was separated into two parts, colored & white, in order to control the transmittance of each part independently. The maximum transmittance could increase more than twice of original design. A vending machine with the transparent display has been demonstrated. In this paper, the electrical stability of organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) were investigated. Solution and photolithography technologies were used for organic thin film formation and patterning. All stacks were constructed with organic materials. However, the polymer-type organic semiconductor material was used for active layer. Also, all process temperatures taken place below 12°C. In addition, the OTFTs exhibit a good process uniformity and high stability. Furthermore, the OTFTs integrated with 6-inch active matrix organic light emitting diodes (AMOLEDs) was realized. We present the development in solution-processed metal oxide TFTs for 12.1' WXGA (1280xRGBx800) TFT-LCD demonstration. The spin coating technology was introduced to deposit the metal oxide semiconductor film. We report a new polymer-stabilized blue-phase liquid crystal display with vertical field switching (VFS) and oblique incident backlight. This VFS mode offers several attractive features, such as low operation voltage, high transmittance, submillisecond response time, and negligible hysteresis and residual birefringence. We reported a new characterization of polymer stabilized blue phase liquid crystal (PSBPLC) by using CIE examination. Abdominal surgery is a critical surgery, with more and more attention being paid to postoperative life quality and associated complications in recent years. Among these complications, postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction is the most common complication of abdominal surgery. Acupuncture therapy is a treatment approach based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, and its feasibility in aiding gastrointestinal recovery after abdominal surgery is supported by both Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and animal experiments. A lot of clinical research has been conducted to evaluate its efficacy, albeit with limitations, and at preliminary stages. Moreover, intervention timing, acupoint selection, and patient benefits should also be considered in clinical practices. This article summarizes the progress of clinical research on acupuncture therapy in gastrointestinal recovery after abdominal surgery and discusses related issues and operations, with the aim to provide new insights and prospects for the incorporation of acupuncture into the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery protocol., (Copyright © 2024 The Author(s).
