In order to investigate the aroma characteristics of Zhenghe white tea with different storage years, quantitative descriptive analysis (QDA) combined with headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) was used to analyze the aroma characteristics and volatile components of Zhenghe white peony tea stored for 0, 5, 10 and 15 years. The results show that the aroma characteristics of Zhenghe white peony tea varied significantly among different storage years. The aroma characteristics of BMD0 were mainly pekoe, fresh, sweet and floral. With the extension of storage time, the pekoe, fresh, sweet and floral weakened, while the stale flavour and woody increased. A total of 66 volatile components were detected in Zhenghe white peony tea with different storage years, mainly alcohols, esters and acids, with the highest alcohol content in BMD0 and BMD5, and the highest ester content in BMD10 and BMD15. With the extension of storage time, the total volatile components decreased significantly, and the composition and proportion of relative contents changed significantly. The Orthogonal partial least-squares discrimination analysis (OPLS-DA) model could effectively discriminate Zhenghe white peony tea with different storage years. A total of 14 volatile components were screened based on relative odor activity value (rOAV)>1, while 30 volatile components were screened based on variable importance for the projection (VIP)>1. Based on rOAV value >1 and VIP value>1, 6 major volatile components were screened, including ^-ionone, a-ionone, nerolidol, benzyl alcohol, benzeneacetaldehyde, linolenic acid. We present a new method of testing for unit roots in the INAR(1) model based on estimated variances. We present detailed simulation evidence regarding the performance of the new test statistics that show that our method is more powerful than the Dickey–Fuller tests especially in nearly unit root circumstances. We evaluate the presence of a unit root in two empirical time series, namely, the number of schools for the blind, deaf, and the developmentally disabled people as well as the number of teachers in such schools. In this study, we characterized the aroma profiles of different Rougui Wuyi rock tea (RGWRT) aroma types and identified the key aroma-active compounds producing these differences. The roasting process was found to have a considerable effect on the aroma profiles. Eleven aroma compounds, including linalool, β -ionone, geraniol, indole, and (E)-nerolidol, strongly affected the aroma profiles. An RGWRT aroma wheel was constructed. The rich RGWRT aroma was found to be dominated by floral, cinnamon-like, and roasty aromas. Human olfaction was correlated with volatile compounds to determine the aromatic characteristics of these compounds. Most key aroma-active compounds were found to have floral, sweet, and herbal aromas (as well as some other aroma descriptors). The differences in key compounds of different aroma types were found to result from the methylerythritol phosphate, mevalonic acid and shikimate metabolic pathways and the Maillard reaction. Linalool, geraniol, and (E,E)-2,4-heptadienal were found to spontaneously bind to olfactory receptors.
