To address this issue, this study focused on the development of a bio-inspired multifunctional nanogel with both antibacterial and biomineralization properties.Methods: First, p(NIPAm-co-DMC) (PNPDC) copolymers were synthesized from N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAm) and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl-trimethyl ammonium chloride (DMC). Subsequently, PNPDC was combined with γ-polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA) through physical cross-linking to form nanogels. These nanogels served as templates for the mineralization of calcium phosphate (Cap), resulting in Cap-loaded PNPDC/PGA nanogels. Abstract

Photo-switchable dual-color fluorescent nanogels were fabricated via nanoprecipitation in aqueous solution. The spiropyran-modified β-cyclodextrin (β-CD-SP) and 4-amino-7-nitro-1,2,3-benzoxadiazole (NBDNH2) were encapsulated into nanogels in the presence of 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI). In the nanogels, spiropyran moiety acted as fluorescence molecule acceptors under the irradiation of UV or visible light to quench or recover the fluorescence of the NBDNH2 to achieve reversible dual-color fluorescence. The feed ratio of the two fluorophores played vital role on the energy transfer efficiency (E) of the nanogels, and the results showed that high E (90.7%) can be achieved when the feed ratio of NBDNH2/β-CD-SP is 1:2 (mol/mol). In addition, the nanogels can maintain good photo-switchable fluorescent behavior as long as 5 weeks. With rapid photo-responsiveness (within 60 s), good reversibility, long-term stability, and excellent cytocompatibility, the as-prepared nanogels have been successfully applied to photo-switchable dual-color fluorescent imaging in cancer cell.

Abstract

Flash conventional heating (FCH) and microwave heating (MH) were matched in their effects on the ROP of e-CL catalyzed by Sn(Oct) 2 . The temperature of the ROP, heated by a hot salt bath, increased from room temperature to 215 °C within 3 min, which rose a little faster than that by MH (213 °C at 6 min), and the way of heating was considered as FCH. The kinetic results indicate that the chain propagation of PCL was significantly accelerated under FCH conditions and the ratio of the chain propagation rate constant by FCH to that by MH (k FCH p /k MH p ) was 4.48, if the concentrations of their propagating species were the same. The largest number-average molar mass (M n ) of PCL obtained by FCH was 13.0 x 104 g ·mol -1 at 6 min, but that by MH was 4.1 x 104 g·mol -1 at 15 min. The ratio of the concentrations of propagating species under the two conditions ([P* n ] FCH / [P* n ] MH ) was around one-fifth at 4, 6, and 8 min.

Abstract

This paper presents a cadastral spatial data storage structure based on relational database, the method and the procedure to realize it. The paper consists of three parts. In the first part, some existing problems in some developed cadastral management systems are discussed. These problems are the following four. 1) The security of cadastral spatial data is difficult to be assured. 2) It is difficult to varify cadastral data and the integrality of cadastral data is difficult to be kept. 3) To transmit and share cadastral data is difficult. 4) The efficiency of data access is low. In the second part, the feasibility of using relational database to store spatial data is analyzed and a new cadastral spatial data storage structure is presented. At the same time, the related table structures and field descriptions are given, and then the merits and demerits of this storage structure are analyzed in detail. In the last part, through a real example, the detailed methods to make the new storage structure a reality are given. Moreover, some involving key techniques of the new storage structure are discussed. These techniques are: 1) the application of database transaction, 2) the application of database trigger, 3) and the application of secure recovery of database.

43. Preparation and molecular dynamics simulation of PLA/PA11 blend.

Abstract

Blends of entirely biosourced polymers, namely polylactide (PLA) and polyamide11 (PA11), have been prepared by a melt-blending process. Several kinds of PLA/PA11 blends (with different ratio of 0/100, 10/90, 30/70, 50/50, 70/30, 90/10, 100/0) were examined. DMA, XRD, SEM, mechanical Properties testing, FTIR analysis and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were used to characterize the properties of the PLA/PA11 blends. The DMA analysis and MD simulation results showed that immiscibility prevails in all PLA/PA11 blends. XRD analysis indicated that in the 70/30 PLA/PA11 blends, the PLA component has been crystalized. SEM analysis indicated that there is a distinct interface between the PLA and PA11 in 70/30 PLA/PA11 blend, whose mechanical properties decrease significantly. The binding energy, radial distribution function g(r) obtained from MD simulations results revealed the existence of hydrogen-bonding between PLA and PA11, but the compatibility of PLA/PA11 blends can not be improved by the weak hydrogen bonding.
